We had a beautiful Sunday lunch at The Brownlow Arms. The wait staff were prompt, polite and unobtrusive, the food was glorious (I chose the pork as a main) for all of us, and desserts matched. I don't understand why the Brownlow doesn't have a Michelin star when the Pipe and Glass near Beverley does, as the Brownlow is far superior.

We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood linguine which had an excellent coating sauce. My only reservation would be to read the bill carefully. Two people had ordered sandwiches, one of which included chips but we were charged £3 extra for chips in addition. I would also be careful of 'Small Water' as it cost £2.50. On the other hand I ordered two halves of the Tim Taylor beer which cost £4.26 with a pint costing £4.25 so no mark up on ordering halves which is unusual but very welcome

The Kitchen Garden

23/06/2019: My mum and I eat here regularly it’s just such a lovely place.
31/08/2019: When you first come in, the decor really hits you. It looks like a high quality restaurant, and I like the way you can buy the furniture and the art on the walls, a clever touch.

31/08/2019: We are staying in Hanthorpe and wanted somewhere we could walk to for a meal. This place was recommended by the owners of the b & b we are stopping in as good pub grub with Lincolnshire portions. We booked a table about an hour and a half before and managed to get in. When we arrived it was quiet but come 730 it was really busy.
