What an absoloute gem of a pub lovely jubbly all round

Does anyone know what they are doing in this place... Barrel was empty but everyone kept trying to pull a pint... FROTH EVERYWHERE. DON'T BOTHER!!! 👎👎👎

Sam and Alex have made a fantastic job of making this place feel like the communities second home.

I only come in here once in a blue moon it's a great back street pub ! ,always a warm welcome, it's a shame I live so far away or I'd definitely be a local here

Great local pub. Always friendly staff and locals and always a fun and friendly vibe in there. Pool, darts, jukebox, fruity, beer garden and various entertainment through the week. What more do you want from a local?!

Went in for a meal with a friend because I heard they had just started food. Wow what can I say. The pub was very friendly and the food was by far the best I've had since I cant remember. I really can not fault the place . Love it will be back.

A very welcoming pub with helpful and friendly staff. The food service exceeded my expectations for pub food, felt like I was eating in a high end restaurant. Would highly recommend going for a night out of food and drinks. The atmosphere made me want to stay. Will be going back.

Been here many times it’s a very small pub with a nice snooker and darts room. I really enjoyed going to the darts nights. It’s a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly!

My sort of boozer, not short on choice of beers, there arn't enough of this sort of pub left, hopefully the local councils will start to help these pubs out

Pretty good experience tbh had a beer and was 30 up on the video slot!

Not a place for ale or cider drinkers unless you want bottles but it's a nice enough, clean location.

This Local pub is looking Tired an in need of a face lift, which I think the landlord has plans for in the near future. Its a welcoming atmosphere has a nice little beer garden for the kids.

Rough as hell never again......

I feel absolutely disgusted by the service I recieved this evening the woman behind the bar who looked to be the only memeber of staff on duty at this time, she was atrociously rude and obnoxious towards me and my friend. We simply asked to use their toilet and even offered to buy a drink and nicely she allowed us to after saying you needed to be a certain age after a certain time. Which is fair enough if I was buying a drink. However me and my friend got shown to the toilet then said we were not allowed to enter the toilet together, after showing our id for then for me to hear the same lady “oh there just a couple of gear heads” and slagging us off to the rest of the pub whilst everyone stared at me I felt uncomfortable and when my friend got out the toilet I said I didn’t want to use it anymore because of the state of the toilet itself, it had no upper toilet seat and black duck tape around it and was overall an un-hygienic mess! After leaving the pub followed by dirty looks and whispers I will never step foot in or anywhere near this so called “local pub” 0 ratings good luck to anyone that goes there.

Nice little gem just off the main road. Well worth a visit.

I visited this place unexpectedly. Friendly staff. Beer looked and tasted clear and crisp... What else do you want... 👍
