Says it shuts at 3am on Friday but wasn’t even open at midnight.

Went out for drinks with colleagues, staff are super friendly!! Most reasonable price for drinks and they are collaborating with papis munchis so amazing fresh pizza inside too!!!

Amazing place to grab a drink and eat. Strongly recommend it.

Came here last Saturday and had a great night. Great beer. Great pizza, great staff Great Britannia!! The owner (Ulas) is a idamond who joined our party and is now one of the lads

This pub is brutal, although without a doubt, the biggest highlight is its pizzas!!! MY GOD!! It's the best pizza I've ever had. GO AND ORDER PIZZA🤤🤤

Chloe was an absolute star! I went in for a pint and ended up having some of the best cocktails I've had in a while! Very quick on service and I'd come back for the deals alone!

Hidden Gem tucked away in monument - quite small but cosy. Staff were lovely, we popped in for some lunch whilst exploring a day out in London & enjoyed a burger each and left stuffed! Overall enjoyed our visit thank you

I drink in this pub fairly frequently and it has a good evening vibe. Me and two colleagues went there today for Wing Wednesday which is 40p per wing. It’s. Great deal and worth it once in a while. I got twenty of the BBQ and in retrospect I should’ve mixed it up a bit even if the other flavours all indicate they’re more spicy. They had a good coating of flavour but got same after about fifteen. We got there at 12 to miss any rush and we got takeaway which is a nice touch for a pub. It came served in a foil wrapped container which definitely kept them warm on the way back to the office. The wings themselves are a decent size and quality. Not the best but by no means bad. Above average I’d say. So I’d recommend it but also recommend you get a few flavours to vary the experience.

I would have found it very good anyway, due to the intrinsic qualities, essential to any restaurant, food and service, plus an interesting atmosphere, and accessible location. But add to all this the fact that it was a refuge on a cold and rainy day, and you just want to spend the day there.

Been there for Passion Bachata. Last time there was a live concert by Codigo band. The venue is not so big, but there's a good atmosphere.

Ok decent pub nothing outstanding just normal and standard

An underground and tucked away gem. It was well worth dropping in here, especially with it being right next to, well, almost everything, the London Bridge, The Monument and the local tube however unless someone has told you, it's likely you'd never know it was here with it being such a small entrance and the entire place being underground. You'll have to come at some point to see what it's like.

£6.95 for a pint glass of Luke warm lager Are you SERIOUS!???? I walked into this pub as it used to have a pool table and myself and friends would go here after work and enjoy a few drinks. However, after wandering in after work today I realised what a tourist trap this place is. The guy behind the bar didn't have a clue about Ales, the beer on tap or the menu. But when I asked for the cheapest lager (I knew which one) it was almost £7. AVOOOOOOOOID!!!!!!!

A relatively expensive place serving pretty average food. (A burger and chips - nothing else) for £16 at lunchtime doesn't represent good value). Unsurprisingly between 12 and 2:15 today I only saw a dozen or so customers. A pint of shandy for £7.20 - poor!!!

Great for a refreshing afternoon drink. The pub was mostly empty (thursday, 15:45) but there was still a good vibe due to the darts championship on the tv. (The sound was quiet loud) The Rekorderlig cider (strawberry-lime) is a great substitute for beer, it was very sweet and definitely worth trying! Tip: this is a pub, you order and pay at the bar when you want something

Visited today and the food was dreadful, however its a great place for a casual drink and the staff is really lovely. When I spoke with the chap that was serving and explained that I wasn't enjoying my dish and why, he immediately rectified the issue and was so kind about it.

Few years has been full of people, now it's cold and very empty.

We called in for a couple of beers and some nibbles, great food, beer and service! Definitely recommend!

Visited twice this week as im on a course from Manchester. Staff are really friendly and there is a grest vibe. Really liked it in here. Had some wings which were great other food looked great

Great little place in the city right next to the monument, literally !!!! Bar staff are very helpful even putting in your favourite football team if you ask for it. Good beers and food all round. Would recommend.

A nice pub to grab drinks in the city quite literally next to Monument. The manager behind the bar was welcoming and he was kind enough to help me pick a craft beer to try. Would recommend for a casual after work drink session (check out the happy hour offers) and have heard they have a great karaoke session every Thursday.

celebrates colonialism, still has images and plaques on the wall declaring pride in the British Empire and what a grand achievement that was. still stuck in the 'rule Britania' era of 100 years ago.. shocking

Told a double grey goose is the standard when you ask for a "vodka lemonade", same with a gin. Is this not illegal? When questioned the staff got aggressive. Very rude and feel ripped off. Service charge also added at the bar, no option to take it off. So have been charged for the service of being over paid.

Great old school soul night every 3rd Sat of the month. Lovely atmosphere and dancing for the over 30s!

Visited here recently with some friends to watch football we were glad to have chosen this place as there was many TVs showing the match. Jade and Lewis behind the bar were incredible and could not do enough for us. we had a sharing platter while the match was on which was delicious and cooked to perfection. we really enjoyed our visit here and will be back in the future

Karaoke nights are terrible for people who are nor regulars. The guy responsible for this allows people to sing 3 songs in 20 minutes, and moves your song down the list and makes you to wait for 2 hours and even in that case you don’t get your song, simply because you are new to this pub. That’s a shame to be a spearheaded guy and still not to know what the honour is. Shame on both, the old DJ and the pub

Most expensive lager I’ve had in the City and unfortunately nothing special. Facilities not clean. Service good.

Fun karaoke! Extremely rude staff working here. Every time we come in we are greeted by snarling, miserable staff who make you feel like you shouldn’t be there.

Visited this pub with with some friends last week. Food was absolutely gorgeous and the drinks were well priced for the area. We were served with a smile every time and the bar area was immaculate. Would highly recommend

Had a wonderful evening here,great food and atmosphere,the manager Lorna was polite and welcoming and always smiled,the bar staff Bradley and Lewis were great at keeping the customers laughing,would highly recommend.

I have never felt so humiliated. I made a protest because someone standing next me was served first whilst I’d been waiting for longer. The person himself mentioned I was first to the bar person but still served them first. The manager “Lorna” is vile beyond belief she abused me then refused to serve me. To top it all off s ordered me to be removed from the premises. I said I’m not leaving and to call the police if you want me to leave. I’m 55 and never been asked to leave any public premises in my lifetime. I was with a large group of friends for a celebration one of our friends is a police officer and another a JP they witnessed the goings on and will help me to take this further raising with an official complaint against the licensee where the license was issued as I have never felt so humiliated. Lorna the bar manager should not be fronting any establishment in my opinion. I hope they have long pockets to fight the court case for abusing me.

Went to sit outside but unfortunately the rain came. The Britannia has been in the sane spot for years so doing something right .

Decent sports pub that's never too busy. There are better pubs in the area but this has always been a staple.

A greate Pub in London centre, really close to Monument station and The Sky garden, very good food with a big variety of beer. There was karaoke night during our visit, we had a lot of fun. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Definitly plan a visit, we will come again for sure during our next stay.

Nice little pub hidden underground. Can be slightly quieter than some of the big places near by which is good. Serves Beavertown which is great.

Josh is a breath of fresh air. Sometimes London bars can be impersonal and cold but josh at the Britannia made us feel warm and welcoming, much more different to the aging nightlife attached to central London!

Place is buzzing in the evening but my food wasn't all that. The burgers look good and everything is reasonably priced!

What a gem of a pub. Staff was brilliant, helpful and friendly, this on guy was particularly helpful on the ales and drinks think his name was Bradley. Food choice incredible and delicious and a wide range of drinks including real ales. Well done to all the staff who were working there. Cheers.

Great place for a drink, food and chitchat. Only thing was they ran out of items on the menu. Eg chips. But otherwise nice and spacious for us. Its not overly busy which is why we like it. Food was served promptly even though we were informed could take up to half an hour. Great customer service and great location. Close to Monument station or a short walk from Bank station. Good variety of food items on the menu.

Place is trash! Walked in and two guys were working the bar. One looked at us and said hi and kept talking to his colleague. We sat for 30 min without anyone asking us for anything. Bar probably had 5 people in there max, it Should’ve been a sign. So we got up and went next door to the hydrant pub, awesome place with great craft beer!

Very English almost Touristy feel pub. Food is quick and good quality. Gets busy Thursday night and Friday night as its near loads of offices

Smaller than I remember (20+ years ago) bit still do a nice point of Guinness. Quick stop before meeting others elsewhere.

Very nice pub. Staff are so lovely infact, its become my new watering hole. Foods great, and as an added bonus, service is super quick thanks to the great management.
