Very nice place with lots of outdoor seating which makes a great change. Hot chocolate is nice and creamy. Staff friendly. No full English on the menu but the muffin looked incredible I cannot wait to try this, waffle with bacon was sweet.

I deffo reccomend the cruffins, amazing!!

What a find. A warm and welcoming coffee shop right in the middle of Sileby. A great selection of produce. We called for breakfast and will definitely be back. Spotlessly clean. Lovely staff. I had been meaning to stop here for while as it is always busy and looks beautiful. A lot of effort has gone into the decor and the cafe has a cosy, quirky coffee shop atmosphere. It has a garden area, but as it was a chilly Spring morning, I opted to sit inside. There is a limited breakfast menu but all based on homemade bread or muffins. I chose the poached eggs and bacon on sourdough, which was served to the table very quickly, which delicious super crispy bacon. The standout for me was the coffee - a really good flat white. The low point was the cutlery - metal, but so flimsy the knife struggled to cut through the bread; it felt a bit like being on an airplane. Nice service in a friendly, popular local cafe too.

This cafe and deli has a very cosmopolitan feel to it - more typical of what you might find in London, but with Sileby prices. The menu offers a selection of breakfasts, bagels, sandwiches, etc. all made from the finest ingredients. They make great coffee and tea too. There is a wide selection of sweets on offer. You can order bread, made by a bakery in Notts, in advance to collect, or if you're lucky pick up a loaf on the day you visit. The sourdough bread is gorgeous and excellent value. This is a great place if you are veggie or gluten free. Staff were so welcoming and friendly. I popped in on my own for lunch for the first time, and I felt like I was among friends. Parking is easy. And they have made sensible arrangements so you can socially distance.

Myself and my partner came across this last weekend and decided to give them a go for brunch. Good social distance queueing in place, contact free payment etc. Prices for the quality are fair if not fantastic. We shared a couple sandwiches, cake and coffee. Personally I found my vegan bagel to be a bit lacklustre - just cheese and chilli jam all squished in a sandwich press. The addition of some salad would have helped it a lot. We also got a couple of milkshakes to go which were basically just milk. Guys, you really need to add ice cream to these. That said, it was all more than edible and staff were all very friendly. I am moving to Mountsorrel soon and will be back to try this place again.

We reserved a table for 1pm on a Saturday at the BREWery cafe in the pretty village of Sileby for a light lunch. The BREWery is a cosy, family friendly cafe serving pots of tea and coffee, soup, sandwiches, paninis, deli boards etc. It caters for kids with a couple of simple choices. We enjoyed a lovely lunch. The Home deli board was tasty and was a delicious ploughmans. Cheeses, chutney, a pickle, quarter Scotch egg and lean ham were served with freshly baked, brown sourdough bread. We also enjoyed the freshly prepared, substantial toasted paninis. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with creamy mozzarella or ham and cheese. Paninis are served with little pots of crisps. The young staff were friendly and efficient.Good value and recommended for a light lunch or a cuppa.

I had never been to this venue before. A friend took me there, telling me it was her favourite local cafe. We managed to find a place to park not too far away, and were happy with the table that we had pre-booked. The menu is not over-ambitious, but is fine for anyone wanting a light lunch, which is what we sought. Interesting breads and tasty fillings met our needs well. Most important to us was the opportunity to sit comfortably at our table and be able to hear each other easily because of the welcome absence of intrusive background music. The food was attractively presented, and we were left free to take our time with it. I found the ambience congenial, and the proprietor very friendly and welcoming. I would certainly go there again.

The attentiveness of the staff and the fact they always welcome us back and know our order makes us feel welcome on every occasion. The lemon drizzle cake is to die for ( so my son tells me ) but he did risk the Oreo cake today which he said was even better. The coffee is always presented well and most importantly tastes great. As an operations manager of 2 hotels and having worked in this industry for 20 years I have enough of Trip Advisor at work so hardly ever leave reviews. However credit should be given were it is due, it’s very refreshing to find independent business providing first class personal hospitality that we can’t always do in bigger establishments. We have wanted to visit this place ever since it opened and today we finally had a chance to go. On arrival it was almost empty with just a couple of tables occupied. It's interesting and quirky inside with a great deli counter too. Unfortunately that's where our good experience ended. We were served by a truly surly and miserable member of staff. There was no smile and/or hello or even the remotest hint of a welcome. We ordered 2 hot chocolates and 2 cakes, which should have been straight forward enough but some of the cakes on display weren't actually for sale which was a bit odd. Anyway we sat down & the surly staff member said she would bring our order over. We got a scone first, then another one bought out 10 minutes later and our drinks a few minutes after that. Why it couldn't all have been brought out together on a tray and presented nicely I just don't know. The scone and brownie were ok but the 2 hot chocolate drinks were barely warm. At almost £13 for this we were very disappointed. The table we sat at was also really sticky and could have benefited from a thorough clean! Such a shame as we had both so looked forward to visiting such a lovely looking place in our village. The worst part was the rude service, and lack of welcome. I use several other village shops and always get great service. We won't be back.

I found this café disappointing in that they clearly expected one to eat what they wanted to serve, rather than offer a choice. We visited Brewery on a busy Saturday lunchtime. As was a cold day & this meant the soup was a popular choice. We asked what the soup of the day was and it was butternut squash, yummy we thought. Placed our order & waited for the food to arrive. About 5 minutes later we had a waitress come and apologise and say they'd run out of butternut soup & would offer a replacement. We noticed another waitress come in with Tesco bags who are on the opposite side of the road. We were browsing at the counter & noticed tesco's vegetable soup being unloaded. We were not surprised when our soup arrived to be told it's country vegetable. This is on the menu as homemade organic soup, which is not Tesco soup. It wasnt even their finest range. At £5.50 a bowl I dont expect this to be served to me. Very very disappointing. In future, they should let customers know they have sold out instead of passing off Tesco's food as their own leaving customers disappointed

We popped in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday as we were doing some local shopping. As it was a sunny day, the few seats outside were taken, but we managed to get a table inside.
