Since it was launched last year, this has become our lockdown weekly treat. I cannot recommend this highly enough, they are all amazing and I cannot pick a favourite.

We could see The Box from our holiday rental place and watched the different pop-up restaurants change over - clearly popular, there always seemed to be a line of people waiting. We gave the Saturday morning bakery a try - it was amazing. The malted sourdough we bought was unbelievably good. Penny buns and bostock pastries also delicious. Definitely worth it but come early as it's busy and what's gone is gone.

Great to see this place surviving. Having popped in for some muffins a while back today we tried the salads which were perfect for a warm summers day. Very tasty! The team are friendly and with just the right approach to service and safety in these trying times. Keep up the good work and thanks again for lunch.

Don't miss this on a Saturday morning! A wide range of sweet and savoury treats, including the best chocolate cookies I've ever tasted and delicious pain au chocs. There are always new and interesting concoctions made with passion. Get there as early as possible. To the 1 star review below - what a mean spirited and unreasonable review. It's a pop-up shop which closes when stock is sold out. It isn't a cafe, so if you want an artisan coffee then go elsewhere? It's also only open on a Saturday. If it is open on a Sunday like you say, then all the better for the rest of us.

We went on Sunday morning in February Very disappointing after reading media coverage Poor quality/ Luke warm coffee made a domestic coffee machine About 5 types of cake on display - the hob nob with chocolate was very average No bread on Sunday Maybe a wet Feb Sunday so not representative

I used this bakery for a local function. I ordered 5 foccacia which were beautiful.I and most restaurants in the region use Johnny (owner/head Baker) as his bread is miles ahead of anywhere else.Pop in and see him and chose a bread, pastry and enjoy, bet you'll go back!

Called in the other day and found lots of Mediterranean food here. It was the previous owner of La Rock (a Mediterranean style restaurant previously in the Town) selling his food stuffs. I ad always enjoyed food from La Rock, so it was nice to be able to buy from his huge range of home cooked produce. In the words of Arnold Swarzenegger. I'll be back.

The most brilliant bread and pastries. Johnny Spillings baker supreme having worked for Heston and Raymond Blanc with Southwold George run The Box. Fabuloiusly relaxed place for listening to music, chatting and getting the best bread and treats on a Saturday morning. They are only open from 8.30 and close when the stock has gone, so be there early.A new Saturday institution.

I’ve been here for a few afternoon teas and lunches. The food is always lovely and cooked well, the themed afternoon teas are always really fun and a great treat for the local area. However the staff are not very attentive, they give you your food/drinks and leave you! It states unlimited drinks but they don’t ask if you need more, they don’t even check if your food is okay or if you need anything. At one point my friend said ‘excuse me’ and tried getting the attention of staff at the table next to us and the staff member just walked away, when we finally managed to ask for more tea they huffed like we were an inconvenience. There were also loads of hairs on our food, I think they were blowing around because they just kept appearing, maybe because they allow dogs. It’s a shame because I love the afternoon teas but it has put me off.

We were staying in wrentham for the weekend and called in for a pint on the Friday and saw that Saturday was a tapas evening. So we booked a table for Saturday. Both the food and service were excellent. We would definitely visit again when next visiting the area.

Super friendly and the burgers are amazing. Would probably travel back here just for this place. Chilli loaded chips are also fantastic

Sadly our recent visit didn't live up to expectations. 3 of our 4 diners had problems with their dishes. Whist we were offered replacements for the steak dishes it would have meant 2 of the diners would be eating their main courses at different times. Lets hope it was a one off experience. Disappointing as it was a birthday treat.
