We were sitting at table 41 Food is okay not up to expectations . (Service 1 )food server is bad , for presentation is good but food taste is okay. Getting drinks order is good but I think could be better …

I used to like it no I don't I hate this pub I don't like it i always get bulled and laughed for wearing leather coats I saw a person from another pub saying that I should wear normal clothes and when I saw him he says do still wear long coats. and when he left I still don't feel comfortable. and i hate some the customers and some stuff are horrible I hate botwell I hate Hate Botwell I Hate This pub I Hate it I Hate The Customers i Hate commen people who bully me wearing leather trench coats I hate botwell

I’ve been frequenting this establishment for the past 20 years and my question to JD -Why are ALL the staff ALWAYS so rude and miserable ,they never greet you with a smile it’s always silence……., your made to feel 3rd class - Weatherspoons need to sort this out !

Food was good (breakfast) but they had no eggs and did not even offer a replacement plus no heating not good knowing how cold it was today

No heating for 3 months. Freezing cold air pumped through lots of ceiling vents onto our heads. Why? Yesterday, Saturday evening at 7pm - no burgers, no fish (for fish n chips). Pity, this is a brilliant pub, great staff who are polite and work hard. Why doesn't management give a ****?

Nice staff, hard-working. Good large pub. But there's been no heating for 3 months. Ceiling vents (which are all over the pub) blow very cold air. It would actually be ok without the cold air blowing. Why not switch off the freezing vents? Also, very often, menu items are not available. On Sat evening at 7pm, there were no burgers, no fish (for fish n chips). We go to lots of Wetherspoons. At this one, it's the norm to have lots not available. The management need to sort this out.

Dec 2024 and Jan 2025 it was bloody cold in the pub, no heating whatsoever. Sometimes the one coffee machine stops working. Toilets accessed by a steep set of stairs. (disabled toilets are on the ground floor) Staff great and feel sorry for them working below standard working temperatures. Chef constantly burns the toast and tries to hide it :)))

Just a standard spoons pub and you get what you pay for, most of the staff are friendly only problem is the heating hasn't been working for weeks and the small heaters are not worth having especially when not even turned on, even with a jacket it's pretty much freezing this shouldn't have been left and needs repairing. Now starting to get too many people playing their phones too loud or shouting instead of talking on the phone and they just take up seats buying practically nothing Other than that been drinking here pretty much since it opened so not that bad for a local and much cheaper than other pubs in area.

good beer, generous tasty food portions, and cheap too ! distinctly less generous portions, since 'brexhit'... At least the beer is still good, and still cheap! Their pepperoni pizzas are particularly delicious.! Staff are also very good people.

We are freezing and so are the poor staff..we came last Wednesday food and service is always great ..but eating with your coat on is not ...not even supplied heaters ...same again this week ..

Served by Reece ,he was fantastic,looked after my vegan order,and ensured it came hot and deliciously cooked by the chef tge way i wanted it, promptly,all at approx 4 pounds with a latte. Cant beat the excellent customer service by Reece even came over to check if all was good with my breaky.Thanks Reece i hope senior management recognise the great enthuastic customer service you provide to wetherspoons customers.Cheers

Used to be a good pub but the new manager has a problem. His attitude stinks. Took an overseas call whilst having breakfast with my work colleagues to be told I can't do that inside the pub. I asked for signs to advise me of such rules. When he couldn't show me what I requested he then became loud & then barred my colleagues & I. I have been drinking there for over 20 yrs. I am a 50 yr old woman, you would think I'm some young drunken thug. No need for such excessive action from this man. Made a formal complaint to Wetherspoons Disappointing management Also extremely smelly & dirty ladies toilets.

Love the Botwell Inn. We don't drink alcohol and don't go to pubs often, but never feel unwelcome here. It's spacious, staff are friendly, and toilets are clean. Everyone just does their own thing, which is nice. I'd never dare to go into a small neighborhood pub. I sometimes go in, get a coffee and just read a book.

Great for coffee when we go shopping in Hayes.

After a genuine mistake asking for 2 extra drinks when It should of been 1 and now the reception is tainted and we not aloud to keep drinks in fridge and made to look like we trying to do them out of drinks. I ordered 3 and 2 to be kept in fridge, then when we ordered food we should of got a drink with meal, this they decided to argue and now hold it against us not very good customer service and a real shame this guy has those thoughts.

Can't fault it for price and service.

Some staff have their head up their asses but food is not bad. No music, singing or any other fun allowed. Only pub I know that has cameras inside the toilets.

Kirstyis the best bar lady. Very kind and also very helpful. A legend!!!

Meals are served to you without condiments and when you ask the waitress tells you to go get it yourself from inside the pub. So if you are on your own you are expected to leave your meal unattended to go inside to pick up the condiments your self. Very poor service.

I like the Botwell inn as it's great value for the food and drinks. We usually just get picky bits of the burger with a drink deal, all yummy! Staff are welcoming and friendly.

They had my mug in the office, I got it back the next week. The beer is good and cheaper than any of the other pubs locally. A nice place for a weekend drink.

Wetherspoons is a no frills bar where you can go for a quite drink and conversation. This bar was no different, the bar had no music but no worries, the beer was a good choice and the Coors / Budwieser was the best I'd had in the UK. The price was right and the service from the table service was great. If I was in the area again, this would be my favourite for a great beer at the right price

After a day in central London we walked from our hotel nearby to here, just what we needed, good food and nice cold beers, good service and friendly staff, clean, would use again if in the area.

The female manager was extremely rude, walking around the place all grumpy, asking people to leave when their food was still unfinished. Probably the worst service I have seen in a several years.

Unfortunately the "Family area" is no longer used as a family area but this is by far the vest spoons I've been to, every staff member & bartender are amazing & the food quality is fantastic & very good portions too.

Always visit this "spoons pub " the Bothwell..when arrive back to T4..from over seas.Premier Inn..Easy to get to Hayes and Harlington..10 minute walk from Lizzi Line station..Good food ..lots of variety in beverages..and pleasant atmosphere .

It's normally a place for affordable drinks and fairly edible food, but I was surprised to see a group of parents with very young children at nearly 8 pm on a Thursday. The parents were loud and intoxicated, while the kids, who were mostly in highchairs, were left unsupervised at their own table. One of the adults even asked us to keep an eye on the kids to prevent them from choking, which was quite shocking. The situation understandably upset an elderly couple nearby, who started shouting at the irresponsible adults. This isn't the kind of environment I'm used to, but I only went for convenience since it was close to the Beck Theatre where I was headed for the evening. The food was okay, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired.

Wethers is wethers but the staff here are great

The food is tasty, the atmosphere is ok! The cleanliness at the veceu is grade 2!!! I already think we're going for the 4th time, and every time it's a mess!!! And I was also disappointed by the cocktails, I tried about 3, you say they taste the same, only the flavor changes!!

The guy that served us today hygiene was absolutely horrendous. Was awful to serve people food with that sort of smell. And the bacon was disgusting.

We ordered pizzas off of the menu, a spicy meat feast, which states Mozzarella, ham,pepperoni, chicken breast,chillies and rocket. And a ham and cheese panini- our pizza came out with some kind of cheese blend which included cheddar and NOT mozzarella as stated in the menu. I have a severe cheddar allergy and I think if you’re using a cheese blend mix it should be stated. Also it says the same on the kids menu ‘mozzarella’ but after asking it seems that is also the cheese blend mix. The panini we ordered had a few minuscule squares of ham in it and no cheese that we could see with the eye. To charge £7 for this is completely unacceptable. In my opinion you should be either update your menus and state exactly what is in each dish, and also allow the kitchen staff to order in Only mozzarella as this is also stated on the menu as an additional topping. And wasn’t available in the botwell inn. As a side note , mash should be available on the menu as it is in most Spoons , and tuna mayo / chilli as jacket potato fillings. The menu in the Botwell is dated and boring. And needs updating to state exactly what is in each dish.

I love the prices and the atmosphere I feel so good when I'm there the staff are lovely but this week was a lady there that was so rude and scary I had the veg burger meal deal and she over charge me but I was so scare to complain very stressed,if im coming back make sure that I don't order when she is there the rest is amazing

Went in for a few drinks to meet a friend who drinks there regular as I have for the past 23yrs and had a fairly good evening, towards the end of the evening I thought it was getting a bit late and bought what I thought would be the last round (one on the table already) A while later a customer went to the bar for a drink to be told they are no longer serving. 20 mins later everyone was told to leave, I was in a convo with another customer but drinking faster than I would normally and consumed part of the second beer to be told by the manager to leave. I drank my beer as fast as I could as I heard the manager saying about people being barred. I finished my drink and informed the manager that I needed to use the toilet before I left and was verbally abused by the manager. As I went up the stairs I overheard the manager saying that I was barred next weekend from using the pub. Used toilet, went to leave and received a barrage of abuse as I left. Manager needs to be releaved of duties and retrained to work somewhere else. Will be making a official complaint to weatherspoons and was informed by another customer that the regulars no longer drink there because of him. Sad to leave a bad review but it is what it is. 😑

Much better service this time around. The service levels have improved and much better and friendlier staff. Much more livelier. There is a beer garden at the back and guests can sit in the front especially on a summer 🌞 day.

One of the best Wetherspoons I have visited. The food is very good, the service is fast and friendly. One downside is the cleanliness of the toilets which could be highly improved.

Surprisingly value for money yet very good service. Extremely polite barkeeps. The place is massive. Though they dont have parking, we were able to find along one of the roads.

The Staff in this pub are always hardworking and serving with a smile. Where can you get a Full English Breakfast and refillable coffee for under a fiver. It’s my favourite pub by far.

Had a fantastic dinner in this place after pool/arcade/bowling day with my housemates. Food was superb and reasonably priced. Staff are efficient and friendly.

Reasonably priced food, curry was pretty tasty. Bar seemed a little understaffed as had to wait in a queue. Also Strongbow Dark Fruits tap was broken so got a regular Strongbow with blackcurrant cordial, but was charged extra for the cordial.

More new foods on the menu. Menu still evolving with more additional new dishes. It's still the best pub for food and drink choices. Breakfasts are tasty. New wines and further offers on the menu. Cheaper food offers from 2 til 5 pm. If you can't eat everything, you can have a takeaway container and order takeaways. Highly recommend 👌🏾

Don't let the Wetherspoons name put you off. This place is genuinely nice, and some of the best value food in the area.
