A very welcome lunchtime ‘spontaneous meander’ into The Botanist at Sloane Square, was a very nice treat tout seul! Lovely service, decor & food, great location close to Duke of York’s, Pavilion & Kings Road.

Nice decor very attentive staff great atmosphere we started with oysters fresh and tasty then we had lobster spaghetti from the specials it was just horrible swimming in a dark brown soup that had a horrible bitter taste we complained and the manager wouldn’t come to our table they took one meal off the bill but it ruined our night and I feel we should not have had to pay for the mains awful experience

Angelina was absolutely amazing! Wonderful waitress, was very kind to us. Very tasty food, thanks to the chef. The prosecco was wonderful! As much as I am not a big fan, I enjoyed this prosecco. I had a very good time, thanks for the wonderful service.

We celebrated a friend's birthday with a lovely brunch at Botanist last weekend and we had an awesome time - food arrived swiftly and everything was delicious and our attentive server, Angelina made sure that we were well looked after! I would definitely recommend opting in for the bottomless option.

Positives: Lively bar area, nice dining room, great beverage menu, convenient location with parking options nearby and good service by a lady and a gentleman both dressed in black suits at the beginning and towards the end of dinner. Food was above average, but could definitely be better. Negatives: Abit of a wait at the entrance without anyone attending until called upon although the bar was busy but the dining hall was relatively empty at 8pm. A lady server in particular who wasn't wearing a suit was rather distasteful. Giving awkward looks, "side eyes", spoke partially sacarstic, impatient and overall behaved like she does not want to be there. Very poor and should either be retrained or not be in the hospitality industry althogether. Given it's price and especially such sour service by the individual mentioned above, I will not return nor reconmend.

A delicious evening at this lovely restaurant, made particularly special by our charming waitress, Taz. She was conscientious, attentive and engaging and we very much enjoyed chatting with her. An asset to the company, we wish her every success and happiness in her career.

I have been to botanist for lunch with my family. Served by the muslim waitress from my country. Can’t exactly recall her name maybe it was kaz. But she was so well behaved made my mom feel so comfortable. She recommended us good food and dessert. Definitely visit again for my next tour. Highly recommend restaurant.

Opted for the bottomless champagne package and was astonished to see that they did not skimp at all. Food as always was excellent and the service - well the staff looked rushed off their feet but we still got great service. Really good all round.

Had a family dinner here after a concert. We really enjoyed the food and had excellent service, especially from Angelina. For the location and the quality of the place, the staff and the food, the prices, especially the drinks are ok.

The waiters didn’t wantbto give us a plastic bag for our take-aways food. Plus the woman was not that nice who got rid of the dirty glasses outside, a little agressive. we wont come back.

Lovely place but tables too close together food ok setting lovely. Couldn’t hear my guest talk - who was new client as the tables other side were 300mm apart. Starter ok cod was a bit tasteless but my guest enjoyed it so that was a plus.

Service poor for the price. Had a few bites of the special pasta (orecchiette with beef ragout) it was flavourless and we found bones in it. Server took dish away without asking how it was or for feedback and we weren’t offered any discount. We asked for coffees, waited 30 mins, they didn’t arrive and were still included on the bill

Good service, didn’t think much of the food. Pre theatre Menu was a bit limited and very dull. Chose the location as we had to go to Cadogan Hall for an event but probably wouldn’t to eat here again.

Only had coffee there which was rather expensive. Service was good as well as the surrounding.

Not great service from start to finish. When we arrived we felt unwelcome. We ordered cocktails, a bottle of wine and snacks to share. The snacks arrived first and the drinks took about 20 minutes to come after that. We then ordered more drinks but they sat on the host stand for another 20 minutes to the point where we got up and got them ourselves. One of the girls who looked after us was lovely but the initial.main host was rude, cold and unwelcoming. From the moment we stepped inside we felt like we were not welcome. Won't be going back.

Service was ok it took quite long for the food to arrive and for them to take our plates once we had finished our meal and we went up to them to pay as it was taking a long time. I revently had a wonderful dining experience at Botanist, Sloane Square. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was delicious, loved the sticky toffee pudding in particular! A good place for a pre theatre dinner. We went to see a show at the Royal Court and the restaurant was a few minutes walk away. They have pre theatre menu with a choice of two or three courses. They are great value. For money and ensure swift service. Well worth visiting.

Our waitress, Angelina, truly made the evening special with her friendly demeanor and attentive service. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, especially the toffee pudding, but Angelina’s charming personality was truly the highlight of our visit.

We enjoyed a very good early-evening meal at The Botanist, where the pre-theatre menu is a relative snip at £30. Tuna carpaccio and halibut were expertly prepared and thoroughly delicious. The dining room is elegant and comfortable, and our window seat gave us an amusing vantage point from which to observe the beautiful people of Sloane Square. All in all a great pre-show option for patrons of the Royal Court & Cadogan Hall.

The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine our waitress Angelina, was dedicated with attention with such a positive attitude and we really enjoyed her service.

Unfortunately we had a bad night; table 6.30pm and by the time we ordered 40 minutes later they had run out of the hamburger (one of their most popular dishes). Alternative choice of food was sub par but Manager recognised the issues and dealt professionally. It’s a shame as I’ve been to Botanist many times before but whatever happened in the kitchen it just didn’t materialise.

We were greeted warmly and as we were early it was suggested we sit outside and have a drink which we did. When the rest of our party arrived, we were seated and given menus. We all had a starter and a main. The starters were very good - in fact the salad I had was excellent. It was the halibut that ruined the meal for all of us. It was dry, and too salty. The sauces that came with it didn’t complement it at all. It was very disappointing, and since it was our main course, it ruined our meal. The waitstaff were great. Too bad about the food.

Entered for drinks around 10 PM, but was unable to taste them because the entire bar reeked of smoke (cigarette + flavored vapes), even after attempting to relocate.

We had such an amazing Sunday evening, it was absolutely beautiful. From the moment we walked in, there was welcoming greetings and most polite/excellent service. Special thanks to the chef ! Bravo , most delicious food we have ever eaten, and we are eating out a lot. The value is fantastic, I thought 3 course meal with drinks 120 pounds for two is absolutely fantastic. From now on this is our regular, conveniently local spot.

We had the pleasure to eat at The Botanist (Sloane Square) after a long day of sightseeing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxing and the servers were courteous and kind, they even offer to debone the fish for us (the sole was incredible), the food was excellent and the price are reasonable for a service of this quality. After 3 days in london this might be our favourite restaurant yet ! We highly recommand this restaurant to anyone near Sloane Square.

Service is amazing, staff are very nice and friendly. Atmosphere is good and beautiful interior design. I got some cocktails. I wasn’t quite satisfied with them, my cosmo was sweeter than it should be. I didn’t try any food there.

Very attentive service by the bar staff on the Sloane Square Summer pop up. Thank you Giulio and team for ensuring our leaving drinks with our big groups were a success!

1. Crab and lobster risotto cake was average. The lump meat on top was tough. Did not appreciate the crab and lobster flavors as much as I would have liked although the texture of the risotto was perfect. 2. Cornish lemon sole on the bone was perfect. Fish was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Would definitely have that again. 3. Chicken Avocado salad was average. The salad itself was tasty, but the chicken was dry and not enjoyable at all. 4. Roast heritage summer squash was excellent. Excellent flavors and textures. Would have again: the sole and roast squash. Would not have again: the chicken/avocado salad or crab/lobster cake.

I visited The Botanist Sloane Square yesterday afternoon with my family. The food was fresh, the atmosphere was elegant and relaxed but the best aspect was the service. Our waiter Hari was prompt, efficient & friendly and he made our experience wonderful. The Botanist is lucky to have such an asset!

A disappointing decline… I recently visited for breakfast, an experience that was regrettably subpar from start to finish. Our meal took an inordinately long time to arrive and was far from worth the wait. My boyfriend ordered the Full English breakfast, which was served cold. The scrambled eggs were overcooked, and the portion of beans was both minimal and cold. My Eggs Benedict was similarly disappointing, arriving cold and lacking in flavour—certainly not worth the money. The service further marred our visit. Seated outside, we had a single waiter who was clearly overextended, managing both indoor and outdoor tables. This resulted in a prolonged wait of 30 minutes with our finished plates left in front of us. I requested the bill three times, and it took the staff an additional 20 minutes to process our payment, on top of the initial wait. To their credit, another waiter did remove the service charge without issue after we lodged a complaint and asked him to do so. However, this small gesture was not enough to redeem the overall disappointing experience. Having once been a favourite of mine, The Botanist no longer justifies its high prices, especially with numerous other excellent dining options in the area. It’s a shame to see such a decline in both food quality and service at a once-beloved establishment.
