Me and my friends had the best time at The Botanist. 10/10 service and staff. Would recommend everyone come here.

Great food, lovely wait staff (thank you Grace) compliments to the chef. Just a little loud for a girlie catch up and proper talk but apart from the noise (which is equally lovely as its great to see people or enjoying) cannot fault.

Came in for a late lunch on Monday - surprisingly busy for a late Monday afternoon, nice atmosphere. Candela our waitress was fantastic, brilliant food and wine recommendations and super attentive.

We had an amazing 3 course date night meal at the Botanist. Our waitress Candela was amazing at recommending dishes and drinks for us. Very welcoming, attentive and made our experience very joyful. Will come again soon.

Super expensive. £17 for one large glass of red wine! Nearly fell off my seat!

Extensive drinks list offering lots of choices. We ordered a couple of plates from the bar menu, which was nice enough but pricey for what it was. An understandably popular after-work hangout, the only issue is that the tables are set so close together that our neighbouring table even joined in our conversation!! lol

This venue has an amazing atmosphere, the staff are attentive, the food is some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Avoid the bottomless brunch at all costs, the “grey goose” peach and honey drinks were virtually alcohol free and after reading other reviews here now it appears a few people have been having this problem which is an utter scam. I kindly requested on two occasions to the waiter and waitress if they could make the drinks stronger but the waiter admitted it was a pre made drink and they couldn’t make it any stronger (of course they could but chose not to) which again the whole “grey goose” drinks choice was completely mis-sold to us. Really disappointing as the burger was very good (hence the 2 stars) but effectively paid £50 for a small sharing starter and a burger/chips as the drinks were pointless. We ended up leaving the brunch 30 mins earlier as the drinks were that poor.

Came here last week for a work gathering, what can I say? What a lovely bar team! The drinks were the best thing all night, there was a specific bartender that stood out to our huge group, madison (the girl with the tattoos) she was absolutely amazing and very very attentive all night!

Great Staff! I was in the bar on a crutch & protective boot yesterday and the staff were really lovely and accommodating, recognising my difficulty. After a while one of them came over with a chair (they were like gold dust at that point). I didn’t catch his name but I really appreciated it! Getting to and from the toilets was made easier by the security outside unhooking the rope for me. What could have been quite a difficult and tiring ordeal ended up as a pleasant experience because of their attentiveness. Happy customer and I’ll definitely be back - hopefully when I don’t need so much help!

This was meant to be a 50th celebration brunch with a good atmosphere & DJ, there was neither the food was nice but it’s a brunch so food is basic drinks were good too but apart from that there was no atmosphere or DJ !! We were completely mid sold on there website!! Would not recommend very disappointed

Pedidos 4 cócteles en el bar la factura era de poco más de £ 70 , cuando consultamos el cargo con nuestro servidor, nos dijeron que todos los pedidos superiores a £ 40 estaban sujetos a un 12 . 5% de cargo por servicio, claramente no estábamos contentos con el cargo y nos dijeron con un encogimiento de hombros que estaba en el menú. No pudimos encontrar la notificación en el menú y no pudimos entender por qué el cargo por servicio solo para pedidos superiores a £ 40.

Servicio increíble, la comida era increíble. Hicimos el brunch sin fondo y nunca tuvimos que pedir una bebida, el personal era tan encantador que volvería al 100%.

I went for lunch here yesterday with a friend. The food was great and the service was fine, if a bit slow. However, what I don't appreciate is being asked to pay a service charge on the card machine after you have already added a service charge (can't remember how much but probably 15%). It is devious in the extreme and I've never come across that in any restaurant. I am sure lots of people don't look at their bill and so they are paying two service charges. Please change that or you're going to lose custom.

Service was very poor - no one interested in serving despite it being nearly empty. When I was served the bar staff walked away without asking for payment (had to speak to another staff member to pay). Couldn't rate the food as they shut the kitchen early and then refused to let us buy a pizza from next door and eat it, even outside. I'm sure they don't have to attract clientele based on their location but would avoid if you have a choice.

We’re 4 college friends who recently tried the bottomless brunch at The Botanist, Broadgate. While the food was quite good, the drinks were a letdown, as they were mostly juice with barely any alcohol. The drinks tasted like there wasn’t even one unit of alcohol in the drinks. I would recommend going for dinner instead and ordering your drinks separately as better value for money!

Bang in the city, yes it is expensive, but really good. I often am sceptical about cocktails at restaurants, but this place really does good drinks overall, and would cater to other drinks/shots too if you ask them. The food is really good too. We had fish and a few sharing dishes, all of which were good. Portions of the sharing plates is not too big. I found the mains to be just enough. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and no one is rushing you out. Good outdoor space to have a drink too. I did book in advance, which would be a good idea, as it did get a little busy.

Sofia was so lovely!!! She served my friend and I all night and was so so lovely!!! She made sure our needs were met and always kept our glass full! Our night felt wonderful and she made it that much better! Definitely five star service
