Food was good however service is terrible. Very rude and clearly don’t care because they are busy.

Canal view is amazing, atmosphere and food is good too. Service can be busy. Booking is a must.

Super cute cafe in Little Venice. You can stay there for sunset and enjoy the view. The neighborhood is super cozy and cute. Definitely try to go there for a small break when you walk around. I will come back ! And the staff is super super nice.

Ordered the chicken escalope and a burger, both dishes were delicious. Had this spot on my bucket list for a while and managed to secure a table on a beautiful sunny day. Ideal for it as its all glass windows that let the sun shine through.

I don't have much to say about the food, as we were essentially denied access because we only wanted to have tea, coffee with desserts. It was already around 5 PM, and being winter, it was dark outside, so there was no view. We were a group of six and had been walking around the area when it started to rain. We thought it would be a good idea to enjoy some desserts, coffee, and tea in this place. However, the staff was rude. He didn’t ask about a reservation; instead, he just asked if we were dining. When we said we were only having coffee and desserts, he told us we couldn’t just have that. We ended up at Costa! café, where my friend and I had a much better time.

A beautiful cafe serves breakfast and has a beautiful view. The staff are nice and welcoming. It has a water view and is worth a try

We were visiting England and for the day and had some time to spare, so we walked along the canal from Paddington station to this café. We then had morning brunch. The whole area around the café and the canal is super, with some lovely buildings and of course The calm of the water. The café is built over the top of the canal so you can sit by the window and look down. The service was lovely, very quick and efficient. My brunch was poached eggs on toast. That was okay, and very tasty in a functional way but lacked a little in inspiration. No complaint though really.

Rude very impolite . I came with my friend today to have coffee and desert and the staff with white hair refused, he said you can't get in for coffee only you are allowed breakfast or lunch which is stupid the place is called cafe . We left, he has very rude behaviour and his voice was loud ,everyone in the cafe heard the conversation. It was really embarrassing.

Nice little restaurant overlooking the canal that leads to Little Venice. We were lucky enough to get a table next to the window while the sun was out, definitely a pleasant view. Good service and, I quite liked my ham and mushroom pizza.

The location is only perfect in this place. I’m regularly having a coffee when I pass in the area. I’ve been that place last week approximately 6-7 customers was sitting on the table. The owner or Manager approached to me then he asked me what you want. I said just take away a cup of coffee. He said we are very busy, sorry we can’t give you any coffee or hot drinks… This is very rude approach. I can’t tolerate this type of approach. There is thousands of different places making coffee not only you guys. I’m not planning to visit this place again until owner change. Note for Owner: We are living in London. Here is not type of Arab countries. I’m inviting you a peaceful and fair business advice nobody will visit your place if people is thinking like me.

I was there the end of june 2023. I didn't have a reservation just before the beginning of a very busy time 4 pmish, yet they found a table for me, foreign diner. I had the minestrone soup (homemade) served with a generous portion of delicious focaccia bread, white wine, grilled prawns over greens with fresh tomatoes, tiramasu served in a chocolate shell cup, cappuccino. One of the best meals in my life! Simple but delicious. Everything was delicious, generous portions, the tiramasu was outrageously delicious! Service great, they didn't rush me even though was getting very busy. Friendly staff and other patrons. Had a nice chat with my table neighbors which they initiated. They were locals dining there after a big polo match and very fun and friendly and interesting. Fabulous ambiance over the Regents Canal in "Little Venice" in London, UK. I can hardly wait to return. When I visit London again I will do everything I can to return for as many meals as I can. They have pizza, too, which smelled delicious. Great views even from my table in the back. The all-glass enclosure including the ceiling, made the ambiance even more delightful. The prices were reasonable for a fabulous meal in London with such fabulous ambiance, considering I had soup, bread, prawn entree, tiramasu, wine, cappuccino. Great area to stroll around. Convenient to buses and not too far to underground tube. Fabulous!

Perfect spot for a relaxing dinner!

The cafe has some pseudo italian dishes and a mediocre pizza. The pasta farfalle al salmone are exaggeratedly salty and the pasta is definitely not handmade. Desserts are acceptable.

Just had coffee there, and the coffee was good. The view was absolutely gorgeous, and I'd love to go back in spring. However, I can't compliment the service. We were rushed out as the waiter started cleaning our table even though the restaurant wasn't busy and we were still at the table getting ready to leave. It felt because we didn't order food and only had coffee, we received poor service.

Have been coming here for 14 years before and after starting the family and absolutely love the place.

Had a quick coffee break. Had a coffee and tiramisu. Coffee was smooth and strong. Tiramisu was delicious, it had a good balance of cream and biscuit, and had a nice, not too strong coffee flavour and was not soggy. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was calm and peaceful, with a lovely view of the canal.

Table of 3 ordered coffee, pasta, pizza, and their delicious tiramisu. Their coffee was so tasty and their tiramisu portion size is very good and best of all its halal. The middle table next to the window had such stunning views of the sunset!

The neighborhood in London isn’t the best, but I absolutely loved the pasta at this Italian restaurant. It’s located near Little Venice, which adds to its authentic charm. Be sure to ask about their daily specials. I had linguine with king prawns that day, and it was fantastic. The service was incredibly quick, the waitstaff were friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderfully cozy.

We went for breakfast because we saw the nice views of the water and the good reviews, however, we thought it was a bit disappointing and expensive. Quality of the food was not amazing. They included a service charge of £5 pp. The views and the ambience were very good.

A casual Italian restaurant located on the canal in Paddington. Reservations are required for seats by the window overlooking the canal. I went there after dinner, so I had coffee and dessert. The tiramisu is packed in a cookie cup and is delicious. The apple pie was also moist and flavored with cinnamon. The other menu items also looked delicious.

This caffee it's a marvellous place to relax and forget about stress. The view over the canal is fabulous. You might have to wait to get a table next to the window but it is worth it.

Great meal in a great location! Even without the view of the canals (because it was dark and rainy), this was a great spot for dinner. Lots of atmosphere and people around with good service and good food.

Nice view, but you have to order food and then have coffee

We weren’t aware that they only did food. After waiting in like for 20 minutes when we asked for a table for some desserts and coffee the waitress behaved extremely rudely and told us they only did lunch and we shouldn’t waste their time standing in the line. Really bad service

Food was your average Italian food, nothing too crazy to rave about. It is quite expensive and the queue is about 20-30 mins long, even at odd non-dining hours. The atmosphere is fancy with a good view so it makes for a good date spot.

Stumbled across this place on a Saturday evening and was perfect for a cozy date night. Absolutely stunning location, amazing service (very fast as well), and a comforting vibe. Highly recommend for traditional authentic Italian.

Please don’t come here! I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was shockingly bad; my boyfriend and I waited 15 minutes without even being approached. It was so busy that the noise level was unbearable, and the tables were crammed together, making it uncomfortable. To top it off, we were asked to leave, which felt extremely rude given how long we waited. Overall, this was the worst dining experience I've ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Después de haber alquilado un piso cercano en Little Venice para el mes de octubre, el Café Laville se convirtió en mi café preferido para el mes. El entorno es encantador, la comida es principalmente italiana, pero con filetes y una variedad de sándwiches y opciones de desayuno también, y el servicio es cálido, acogedor y eficiente. Los especiales incluían un ravioli relleno de cangrejo en una salsa crema y coujones de bacalao tan frescos y ligeramente fritos, que prácticamente flotaban fuera del plato. Café Laville es un lugar maravilloso para el desayuno, almuerzo o cena y obviamente uno de los favoritos locales.

The staff were unfriendly and quite rude. I politely asked if we could have a table with a better view, but they forgot. When I inquired why, they didn’t provide a reasonable explanation and instead gave the table to people who arrived after us. The place was very crowded, and there was no music playing, which contributed to a negative atmosphere. Ultimately, we decided to leave without ordering anything, as the staff failed to treat us with the respect we deserved.

Halloween and we decided to take a very long walk in the afternoon. That long walk took us from Harrow into the West end. However, on the way we both felt hungry, but for something healthy and honest. There was always a restaurant I had wanted to try...as it overlooked the canal at Little Venice. As it was on our way we decided to pop in. It is a lovely space, the highlight being seated overlooking the canal. I can imagine in the summer this is magical. We both ordered the Chicken Palliard....a grilled chicken fillet on a bed of rocket with cherry tomatoes. This was exactly what we wanted, healthy, and just the right amount. We accompanied this with a glass of Chardonnay... perfect. We opted for the cheesecake and the cheese board for dessert... wow....never seen such a cheeseboard....and it was delicious. The coffee is also fantastic. If you're ever in this part of the world come here...they have home made pasta, amazing pizzas....a definite must.

Halloween y decidimos dar un paseo muy largo por la tarde. Ese largo paseo nos llevó desde Harrow al extremo oeste. Sin embargo, en el camino ambos sentimos hambre, pero por algo saludable y honesto. Siempre había un restaurante que había querido probar... ya que daba al canal en Little Venice. Como estaba en camino decidimos venir. Es un espacio encantador, lo más destacado es sentarse con vistas al canal. Puedo imaginar que en verano esto es mágico. Ambos pedimos al Pollo Palliard un filete de pollo a la parrilla en un lecho de cohete con tomates cherry. Esto era exactamente lo que queríamos, saludable, y la cantidad justa. Acompañamos esto con un vaso de Chardonnay... perfecto. Optamos por la tarta de queso y la tabla de queso de postre. . . wow. . . . nunca había visto una tabla de queso así. . . y estaba delicioso. El café también es fantástico. Si alguna vez estás en esta parte del mundo ven aquí... tienen pasta casera, pizzas increíbles... una necesidad.

If you try to sit for a while, you'll get bad looks, rude behavior, and a chair being thrown down at your table. We sat there for a while because our phones needed charging, and we saw their wonderful service attitude. All meal prices are subject to an additional 12.5% ​​service charge. If it weren't for the beautiful scenery outside the window, we wouldn't come.

Looking for a place with the incredible view for a Little Venice? Well that’s the one! Not only the location but as well food and friendly service is on top. Visited few times and always happy to be back to enjoy great menu and wine selection. An absolute must try is a pizza bruschetta! Nice place for breakfast or brunch

I had the English breakfast with a beautiful view. The staff are really friendly, and kindly offered to move me to a great window seat when it became available. A great experience.

I had polo pizza and my friends had other pizzas and a beef burger. We were all happy! The taste of the pizza was great! The lady serving us was so respectful and friendly. The whole experience was great. I recommend this place! We were 8 people celebrating a birthday there!

The place is a hidden gem in the heart of Paddington, the views of the canal are beautiful. But Alberto the owner is the main reason I go there, not only he's a great guy but he can make a home made tiramisu in the spot, which is the best I ever tried in my humble opinion. If everything else wasn't good enough, now they added a pizza station (which I found out after lunch we had to do a "double lunch"). Definitely worth trying.

We had truffle pizza, pasta, and tiramissu tonight. It was so delish! Truffle was perfect amount and delish. The tiramisu was light and beautiful presentation. All in all was made with love! Highly recommended!

Excellent omelette. Spinach,mushroom goatcheese. Good thick omelette to keep you full. Pleasant lady server. Only negative, the music doesn't match the area or cafe. Instrumental or none is better.

Returned to Little Venice after close to 30+ years hiatus. Studied in London 1995-1997 and now I’m a mommy with 3 beautiful teenage kids. Lovely lovely walk by the canal and found this charming restaurant. I had a super heavy breakfast at the hotel so we only ordered drinks. Mine was the usual cappucino. Arrived close to lunchtime and not long after the crowd trickled in. Not bad quite full so the food must be good. What’s great about this place is you can sit by the verandah, watch the boats pass underneath and wave to the passengers😂 Super cozy ambience and the daughter of the owner was a lovely girl. Well spoken and friendly. Will definately return. Definately not waiting another 30 years!

Este lugar era un pequeño gran hallazgo para una hermosa vista sobre el canal. A la llegada eran muy serviciales para encontrarnos una mesa para 8 personas, sin haber reservado. Era un domingo muy ocupado por la mañana y podrían haber hecho con más personal. El hombre mayor claramente se precipitó de sus pies, lo que se mostró en su servicio al cliente. Todo le parecía un gran problema. Absolutamente no podía faltar la comida, era delicioso. Cuando fuimos a pagar, tuvimos que subir al bar, lo que nos resultó más fácil (así que pensamos) ya que queríamos dividir la factura en varias transacciones. Cuando 2 parejas habían pagado, el hombre mayor procedió a gritar en lo alto de su voz, a través de un restaurante lleno en la camarera. Gritó "deberías tomar 5 o 6 cartas, no 12". Todos nos miramos, sintiéndonos muy incómodos. Para info Señor hombre mayor, éramos 8 no 12 , de los cuales 2 pagaban en parejas. Por esta razón NUNCA volveremos! Si decide visitarnos, evite a toda costa al caballero mayor. ¡Necesita aprender mucho servicio al cliente!

Excelente servicio y comida encantadora con una gran vista. La señora que nos atendió fue muy servicial y amable e incluso movió nuestra mesa sin que pidiéramos que nos diera una mejor vista. También pedí erróneamente lo incorrecto en el menú y ella fue tan amable de reemplazarlo para mí en 10 minutos, ya que estaba cocinado fresco. Sin duda volvería!

Went here for a late lunch. The place has a great view of the canal and we had been looking forward to going here. We weren’t able to get one of the few seats that sat over the canal when we got there. We ordered a pizza and before it came one of the seats opened up and the waitress moved us there without us even asking. The service was wonderful and the pizza was excellent. We look forward to our next visit.

Excellent view of the canal. The glazed roof and the connection with nature. The food is good. The service is unfriendly, they don't care too much about the customer. It does not invite you to stay and enjoy. The lady who seems to be in charge, addresses the customer angrily. The waiter has little patience. A shame!

A very cozy place and fantastic views

Exceptionally average food and below standard service. We ordered linguine which wasn't special but edibile while my mother ordered crab ravioli which was presented as 4 pieces of sloppy pasta covered in a cream sauce. My mum ate one piece and didn't like it so I swapped meals. I ate one and so did my friend to taste. When the manager came to collect our plates, I advised him that the ravioli wasn't great to which he offered to deduct it from the bill. Great. Upon receiving the bill, he'd changed his mind because somehow the bad meal was on us. The bad meal, poor customer service, and now this review, is all on Cafe Laville's manager. Avoid

Beautiful location, lovely staff, delicious food and adequate prices! I liked that food was delivered hot how I prefer compared to some other places where you get it lukewarm.

Stopped to have a coffee but was turned away as they were only serving customers having breakfast or lunch, the place wasn't busy and I would have been happy on the plastic chairs at the front outside not even in the building. I'm really pleased they are earning enough to be choosey over the customers they serve, I was stopping for coffee and quite regularly when I do this I will also order food.

This is an amazing place I will say it’s a little gem of a place in London. We went there for coffee and cake as it was my birthday but it was almost start of their dinner time. But when Albert the manager found out it was my birthday he allowed us in and I am so grateful to Albert for his kindness. This place is so lovely and the staff are so kind and helpful. Both Denise and Elde are amazing ladies they are so wonderful kind and caring. They made us so welcome and took good care of us. The service is excellent. We had home made tiramisu and cheese cake out of the world. We had another place booked for dinner but next time we will go to Cafe Ville for Dinner. We had such a wonderful time and the whole team at Cafe Laville is so professional kind and helpful. I recommend this place very highly for quality of food service and location. Cafe Laville is a must visit for me whenever I go to London. If you are in the Little Venice area, this is an excellent spot to grab a drink (from delicious italian coffee to great cocktails) and even something to eat. Their pappardelle and tiramisu are simply to die for. The service is absolutely outstanding and not to mention the views over the canal. Very romantic!

We are very disappointed with the service as we were waiting on the queue for almost 40mins and the restaurant staff kept picking big groups of 4 as they would make more money. We ended up leaving as we were told they prioritise 4 people over 2 which wasn’t mentioned at the beginning. Two friends of theirs arrived and they even gave priority to them over to us. Inappropriate!
