We had dinner and was really happy about the service and the taste of the dishes. Starters were absolutely incredible. We tried Beetroot tarte fine and hareford beef carpaccio. Mains didn’t impress us as much, but were still good. We had the chalk stream trout and the gloucestershire old spot pork belly and maple fillet. There are not many tables which is nice, but it’s a bit too dark. View is straight to other skyscrapers, as being in second line can’t spot London main sights.

An embarrassment and a meter of mud! The service is hopeless! The orphan waitress forgot about the appetizer, even though she was nodding her head while placing the order and kept repeating: fine, fine. Food from the "so-so" category. The only advantage is the view, but despite this, I advise you to avoid it!!!

Amazing view! Great atmosphere. Food looks amazing ( doesn’t taste good and portions are small). I have a really good time and definitely I’ll back again.

The view is lovely. Food is nicely presented but the Taste reminds more of a high end bar food than a fancy Restaurant. Prices are decent for the location. We got a reservation 10 min before arriving, which was great.

You know how to welcome your customers ! First, your security measures are good. We feel safe in the building ! Then, everything was perfect for a night in London with my beloved : the view is incredible, the wine is good (thank you for the "Chambre d'amour" ♥), and the meal is tasty. A really good experience !

Excellent experience! Staff is really attentive and each detail was carefully designed to make the afternoon tea a pleasant moment! Environment is very adorable, views are astonishing! Food and champagne were delicious. A place to come back and highly recommend to friends and family!

Amazing place. Went here on 22nd Feb 2025 for a wedding. The view was fantastic and the food was well presented and tasty. All the staff were very helpful and professional.

We celebrated our first anniversary there, and I was really excited about it. The dinner was excellent, and we were lucky to get a table near the window with a beautiful view. I have to highlight the service, which was the best, thanks to Mihaela. Thank you for this wonderful experience that we will never forget!

Afternoon tea at the Searcy’s restaurant was fantastic. The decor and ambience was very nice and felt intimate, perfect for a couple or date. The food, drinks and service was excellent and the location and views across London from the 39th floor were magnificent.

Saturday we had the most amazing evening at Searcy’s. The food was excellent & so was the service. Mihaela was the wonderful lady who looked us. She was helpful, very friendly & knowledgeable. All the staff were amazing too. Then upstairs after dinner to the 360 view bar. Spectacular views over London. Highly recommend this restaurant & bar.

Food was delicious but at times not warm enough more to do with the custard which was a bit lumpy

Great place to have drinks and food with spectacular panoramic wievs of London, from the business district. Prices are bit higher but the experience is worth those prices so it's fair.

Can't visit London without seeing the skyline, and it'd be hard to get a better experience than at Searcys! Everyone was great and the views at night were breathtaking! One tip: try to sit directly to the left near the corner. It's open to the restaurant below everywhere else and there's a very pronounced glare blocking the view everywhere except there. It also looks out over the London Bridge and Tower, which are lovely.

We had the festival dinner set menu on December 30th. The service and ambience were perfect for a celebration. I’m glad we chose this place despite reading some negative comments. Keep up the good standard, and we’ll definitely come again!

Idris provided exceptional service for our table and made sure we had a delightful experience. He was able to provide us detailed informations about the starters, mains and desserts and persuaded us to try new items with the Chef’s Asians twists!

Perfect afternoon tea at the Gherkin. Most exquisite ambience, iconic building, stunning view from the top floor. Most professional and friendly service, excellent food and drink, perfect to put us “in the mood for Christmas”.

Food is fine but definitely isn't the best, as there are too many better afternoon teas around London. I guess everyone is going there for an experience of being in the Gherkin itself, not the best finger sandwiches, scones, or the finest patisserie. Food can be refilled until you have enough. Tea doesn't go beyond the most ordinary such as peppermint, earl grey, camomile, etc. Service is satisfactory. Nice vibe as expected with the bonus Xmas vibe. The price is correct for what you get. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

Had a booking for 5pm for the bar, today. The bar was empty, yet they sat two people right next to us, and was told immediately by the waiter to turn my phone light off, which I was using to apply lipstick. The staff was rude and said it was bothering the other guests. He sat them right next to us, despite empty seats in an empty bar. The couple who he spoke on behalf of immediately then, turned on their mobile phone lights, taking videos and pictures, with myself and my friend in the background and the light directly in our faces. He didn't say anything to them. Whereas my light was facing me and he sat them next to me, after myself and friend were already seated. I wonder why he was so discriminatory towards myself and my friend and not the older white couple. This behaviour is disgusting and shows the type of staff you hire.

1st class service, great value for food, you can't beat being at the very top of the gherkin with a window seat

For a sunset cocktail with a view of Tower Bridge from above, this place is truly the best. I had a great time, relaxing and nice environment!

Disappointing from the minute we arrived. The welcoming was cold and robotic … arriving early to go to the bar and being told to sit and wait as its full, while they checked in other guests and left us sat there. When eventually saying we can go to the bar which was not full at all there were probably 6 tables full! ID taken and no idea what they do with the picture they take.. security was a bit over the top! Restaurant was cold 🥶 view was Get food was nice and our waitress was lovely but as always topping up wine too often. Shame as the hype just isn’t the same as the experience.

Was really looking forward to this and what a disappointment- arrived 45min early for a drink in the bar - woman at front said will have to wait as bar fully booked - managed to get up after waiting 15 mins and the bar not even 25% full what a joke … They take your id and don’t even tell you why and under gdpr they could be keeping your details without you knowing !! Restaurant had no vibe and empt tables Really would suggest they change their attitude and maybe become more welcoming …..

Really well balanced menu. The key thing about a good small menu is there were plenty of items we could have chosen. Wine options were sensible and house wines were actually quite good. The service was excellent, good honest advice and no excessive upselling. Goes without saying, the views at night are superb. Highly recommended.

We had our wedding ceremony here over the weekend and after a hostile start with the buildings security, our experience was rescued by the lovely Sheila who ensured everything went to plan for us and didn’t miss a beat. I cannot thank Sheila enough, she honestly made my day and the guest experiences the best!! She is a real asset to the team!

Nice atmosphere, delicious food, beautiful cocktails, impressive views and very friendly/attentive staff (Thanks Roger 😊). Things that could be better: 1. Please use different lift for the goods; the smell of cooked food in the lift from level 34 to 39 was very strong, and if you do, then the ventilation definitely needs improvement. And it probably should not stop on the kitchen floor with clients inside. 2. The host stand on level 39 should face the lift, as when arriving on the floor you can’t tell whether you should wait for someone there, and naturally proceed to the only way you see (right), and there was a guy dressed in all black like a security guard, who made a stop sign with his hand 🤚 telling us to go back and wait for a colleague to approach us. I understand the colleague was assisting an elderly couple to get on a small lift leading to floor 40, so a stand facing the arriving visitors would have made it smoother and more pleasant experience. 3. There was a purple light on the ceiling which was different from all others and it was quite strong. These are all small things and maybe if I was in Nando’s I could have ignored it, but expectoration from Scearcys at The Gherkin is higher. Overall, I thought the experience was enjoyable and it would have been harsh to rate less than 5 stars.

Date night drinks Saturday night, staff friendly and attentive,not overally busy which i can imagine will change as we approach closer to Christmas, lovely chilled calm atmosphere with amazing veiws, deposit required when booking online but taken straight off bill with no issues. Would definitely return

Had the most amazing time, our waiter Idris was exceptional and the views were incredible! He managed to take some beautiful pictures of us. The food is flavorsome! I love to eat so the portions were a bit small but completely worth the experience. The cocktails are lovely too. Highly recommend for a special occasion or date night!

Don't forget to make advanced table reservation and bring your ID (security check). The restaurant has a very elegant and special ambience as you can enjoy superb views of London! Very friendly team welcoming us and taking care of us during the whole dinner. Plenty of professional waiters serving their customers, a real "ballet" 😉 A vast choice of tasty apéritifs and cocktails! Signature champagne cocktail (rhubarbe, elderberry...) was very special 🥂 mmhhh Food was excellent, both taste and presentation "Guide Michelin style". Beef was tender and delicious, rissotto with truffles was creamy and well spiced. Good choice of "wine by the glass". To finish: chocolate mousse (could have been a little more moisty/creamy), and the highlight was the lemon tart with meringue! Served "déstructuré , revisité", a great innovative dessert creation! An absolute perfect quality time at Gherkins restaurant and afterwards at the bar for an after dinner cocktail 🍹🍸 100% to recommend!

I've been here one week ago and really liked the place, the iconic Norman Foster skyscraper aging perfectly with a great athmosphere. Searcys is right at the tip! Spectacular view, great cocktails, good snacks!

Food ok, nothing fantastic. Tea was bagged and not loose leaf. Very friendly upon arrival - but unfortunately it went downhill fast after ordering and getting staff attention was hard. Disgusting service when trying to pay. Party of 6, one waitress part way through took the card machine from our table to arrive someone else, we questioned this and was given a very rude response in a snappy tone, rather than an explanation. Wouldn’t expect that service anywhere, let alone in a higher end establishment. An advertised £55 afternoon tea was £67 per person & aside from the view - fairly average

Havent been to the restaurant but visited the top of the Gherkin for the work event, and it was certainly worthwhile for the views!

What a great experience. Beautiful bar truly the best views in London. The staff are lovely accommodating and friendly. We were half an hour late but we were still accommodated without fuss. The drinks and doughnut dessert were lovely. The only reason this is not five star is because I think £67 for two cocktails and a doughnut dessert to share is a little excessive. Not sure if we got the right bill.

A lot of messing about at the entrance...I'm sure a more efficient way to enter can be done.. also a lack of communication between bar and restaurant...awaited our party at a large table who were barred joining as "no space for them"

I photographed my second wedding at this iconic venue in August 2024, and can't wait to get back! Incredible views, and fantastic light thanks to the unique architecture. It makes for a fantastic and glamorous setting for a wedding celebration. I got to sample the bowl food served at the wedding which was fantastic, and the bar staff were very polite and helpful to me as a supplier needing the occasional refreshment!

Charming service from Idris who went above and beyond, and a lovely set meal for a very reasonable price. View was amazing and it was lovely sitting there watching the sun go down over London. Only challenge was getting up to the restaurant - ID is required for the lift and there was bag scanning with security team which was somewhat unusual but all worth it in the end.

I had high expectations because it was a famous building. When you enter the first floor of the building, you first confirm your reservation, check your ID, and then are guided to a separate elevator. It is best to check the dress code in advance. Seating for meals and seating for light drinking seem to be managed differently on different floors. We had a great time drinking wine on our last night in London. The place has a really nice atmosphere.

February 2024, my niece's 18th birthday, everything is beautiful, nice, food, service, everything is 5 stars, only a problem for smokers because they have to go down, for example, from the 8th floor in front of the building. Great view from the 8th floor, something beautiful, I recommend the restaurant 100%

A very nice experience in lovely setting. Excellent food with very pleasant and helpful staff. Nice views. Got turfed out of restaurant before we had had coffee into upstsirs bar that did not serve coffee. After minor complaint we got coffee ok.

We had booked afternoon tea here and it was delectable! The scones were my absolute favorite! Definitely a place to have tea when in London with incredible views and wonderful service.

Great bar on the 42nd floor with spectacular views over the London skyline. We reserved the table online a few days before our visit. The reservation fee will be offset against the drinks on site. That's very fair. Thanks for the great experience 🥰

The bar has a nice vibe, and the view is definitely a highlight. The cocktails are a bit pricey, but that's expected due to the location. They do tend to squeeze everyone into one section, even with plenty of other tables available the entire time. The service was okay, though a bit slow considering the prices. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you want to have a drink with a nice view, but there's room for improvement.

Beats the Shard with food, service, prices, everything.

5.45pm booking.37 floor. The amazing glass building design and the views are impressive as expected. The customer service for drinks and food was 'average'. eg. 1.I ordered the lamb. 5 mins later he returned to ask how I would like it cooked. I answered 'medium to well-done'. Didnt need wait too long but it was plonked down 'pink to oozing blood red.'. I immediately asked for it to be replaced/recooked. 5 mins later they returned again to remove my daughter's main fish meal as it was getting cold. 2. The bottles of lager were poured without tipping the glass so the resulting frothy white head took up 50% of the glass.(minor point I know but it irritated me.) 3. The toilets were OK'ish but needed a clean in some areas. 4. When the bill came I was pleased my daughter took a glance as they had not deducted the large prepaid deposit made a week before our visit.

Totally loved our experience, staff were fantastic and the food amazing.

Exceptional service with pleasant, professional and knowledgeable staff. Well organised, polite. Food was very well presented, I had Octopus carpaccio starter wonderful flavours. House cocktail and wine list very well explained and enjoyed. A great evening.

I left my sunglasses there and they were "not found" afterwards meaning........... PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION FOR A CUSTOMER EVENT AS IT WILL SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGE YOUR BRAND

Food was amazing - seemingly small portions but quite filling! The service was prompt, courteous and efficient. The atmosphere - that view of the London skyline is so memorable, with the background music and clink of cutlery and glassware.

Easy to reach. Building is iconic, you just need to look up. Once in you will need ID, passport, licence etc. You pass through airport like security before heading to lifts. Amazing views from any direction. Food tasted really good.

One of the best bars on London, amazing view from the top of the Gherkin, beautiful sunset, wonderful architecture in the interior. Cocktails are very good, service is quick and helpful. I've noticed however that after 1,5-2 hours, they really target you with too frequent visits, asking if you need any more drinks, if you've finished your drink, over and over, like every 5-10'. That's annoying, especially when the bar is at 40% capacity and especially when you are enjoying your time with your company! I get it if it was full and wanted the spot back, but honestly guys, you can relax a bit when the bar is almost empty... Snacks are also good, the truffle chips were very nice.

We went ro Iris bar at the very top of the building. The service was wonderful, the drinks were delicious and the views spectacular. We only had a nibble (portion of truffle fries) but they were great. Affordable relative to the location. Will definitely go again especially when family from out of town are visiting.

Came for a wedding. Nice food and drinks in a beautiful location with an amazing view. All marred by rude and unhelpful staff. Would not recommend, did not even receive a reply when i wrote to them to complain about the service. Surprised, given that i would imagine the service was not cheap

An absolutely outstanding experience. Everything was just perfect. I celebrated my birthday with my Mum and sisters (belated birthday treat), with the most fabulous Afternoon Tea at Searcys. We were a table of 8 and we all loved the delicate rosé wine that was served as well as the delicious sandwiches and cakes. The tea and food were unlimited and topped up on request at no additional cost which I taught wad a nice touch. The venue, the setting, the views over London all priceless. Best Afternoon Tea experience to date. Can't wait for a return visit!

I went here a few days ago and had an absolutely marvelous time! I made a reservation at the bar to celebrate mother’s day and my mom visiting London - and I am so glad I did! We had an incredible time with gorgeous views (sunset and London at night). Our server, Mateusz, absolutely made our evening! He was incredibly kind and attentive, offered to take our photo, and even brought out a small treat for us in celebration of mother’s day! He drastically elevated our experience - we would not have had such a lovely time without him :) Great bar, incredible views, and amazing service!

Checked website for afternoon tea to bring 6 guests from UAE for a business meeting. Dissapointed they have no afternoon tea options without alcohol all offers are with alcohol, didnt know Searcy’s promoted a non inclusive policy. Disappointing

Afternoon tea at its best, I'd say one top 5 place's to go for Afternoon tea Service was outstanding, for a Saturday not over busy. A must visit in London

Mateos gave us great service, he was always checking up on us, was quick to brig our orders and he also took photos of me and my girls

Positives: Great views on top of Gherkin Negatives: We ordered 4 different cocktails, which were all virtually undrinkable .. described as tasting like petrol by my daughters

Moderate French cuisine. Good presentation. A lot of fuss with security screens, checking IDs, multiple lifts. And then just a dark room in the fog with too much creamy cheese and lots of wine.

We went to Gherkin tower for a conference, at the top floor. The sound was covered by the noise of some ventilation system, the acoustics was quite bad, and the microphones worked in a haphazard way, despite a profusion of dedicated hardware and the presence of several sound engineers. So much for the messages to be conveyed. As for the atmosphere, the view on the London cityscape is quite stunning. This helps to forget the failure mentioned above, but the powder-in-the-eyes effect remains. A bold architecture does not dispense from a building management system.

A fantastic venue, hence the price. On our visit the kitchen had issues so it was bar snacks only.
