So rows the best and sweetest waitress over there and at all, she is patient and funny and would give good recommendations, and the place takes everything into considerationlike allergies alcohol or pork The place is pretty cool and fun The food is yummy, id prefer the philly cheese steak, the mcdaddys burger isnt the best , chicken burger and the siders are nice Its cool to have drinks over there I’d totally recommend this place The prices are reasonable as well

This place is amazing! Nice and cozy atmosphere with friendly and energetic staff. Food was so good that I was talking about / mentioning the Brisket burger for a whole day. Maple Bacon burger was very good 👍 3 sliders : I highly recommend to choose all 3 pulled Brisket slider with a cheese dip 🍔

Fun looking place just off prince's street. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are just right. The staff were friendly and helpful but we did have a very long wait for drinks. By the time we got our drinks I had already finished my food and they were ordered at the same time. The shot roulette was a fun twist on the menu, we both got an aftereight inspired shot. Before you pay, you toss two little pig figurines and if they both land on their snouts then you don't have to pay for you food. Sad to say we weren't so lucky but it's another fun twist that this places adds to the dining experience. Good food and a good atmosphere with fun vibes, I would recommend it to a friend.

Great food, great service, great drinks! Stopped by for dinner (significant other and myself) on our first time in Edinburgh and cannot rate this high enough.

Wow! The bacon burger and Cobb salad hit the spot. Had to try Haggis for the first time—the sauce made it go down. Pilsner 50 delish.

Went here for drinks on a trip to Edinburgh and it was great! Chilled atmosphere and great prices for some lush tasting cocktails! Will definitely be back whenever I visit the city!

WOW! The Boozy Cow exceeded my expectations. It isn’t just an ole fashioned burger joint. They are a unique combination of fun, different yet delightful, with a atmosphere you would think to only find in a bar. Well here you can grab an amazing cocktail while you eat delicious and hearty food. I mean they have everything you’re after. From a burger challenge that will leave you full and a photo to remember the momentous occasion to bites and snacks for you and me alike. They even have one named after Louis Capaldi himself. So if you’re in Edinburgh, then I would say it is definitely worth making a booking to try a burger like no other. Will definitely be back.

The burger was good, but the Chilli Beef Fries were perfect. Nasty and dirty. They played 90ies Hip Hop. I liked that too

Nice pub with great food! Food and drinks came out quick and it was all delicious. The tunnel area where we were sat became a bit loud but was still a nice place to sit.

Had the maple bacon cheeseburger, fries and deep fried pickles. The burger was very dry, the bun crumbled, the bacon was hard and tough and the meat dry even after putting lots of mayo on it. Fries were good. Deep dried pickles were doughy, way too much batter to pickle ratio and the sauce didn't taste much of blue cheese. Service was a little slow, a lot of staff standing at the bar chatting. The decor is cool and it feels like a decent atmosphere, but the music was a let down, would have expected some indie or old school vibes in this type of place. The waitress was nice and the roll of the pigs was fun but won't be going back for food

The staff almost as dry as the burgers they serve. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak that was tremendous, things as they are, but the Capaldi was an experience in itself: a tower of 4 flat and stiff burgers like an espadrille that killed all the flavor of the rest of the ingredients; We removed 3 and already then it was wonderful. Please, put fewer hamburgers but thicker and juicier ones.

Cobb Salad was great, as were the Smokey BBQ Wings. Our young tall server was attentive and timely throughout the night.

We just had some drinks, and staff were very helpful in finding us a seat

It looks better than it tastes. The food wasn’t that good. It’s quite expensive and nothing really special. The ambience is nice and reminds me more on the United States. All in all you can spend your money better on food than here.

honestly i wouldn’t go again the cocktails were really nice and the food wasn’t too bad but the burger bun was hard and dry. NEEDS MORE SAUCE :)

Great atmosphere. Music was awful. Food was nice but not as amazing as the reviews had let us believe, Was a little disappointed, would have left a tip but my partner and I both felt that the wait staff were not very welcoming.

It has a special location and special atmosphere. The food, on the other hand, was really more than excellent! The chicken is recommended, but all the loaded fries and sandwiches were also very tasty. The hot sauce is really hot(!). Service is top notch. Price/quality/location is fantastic!

Lovely cocktails and plenty of selection. Different types of cocktails to suit preference of sweet or sour, etc. I had the watermelon cooler and twister, and they were gorgeous 😍.

The staff saved this place from getting a 3 star review. Nice dark haired lad and lady that served us along with QR table ordering means it gets 4 instead of 3 stars. Go if you want decent drink selection with junky fast food and commercial music. Food closer to a 3.5 really. Sliders were overcooked, loaded chilli fries had no kidney beans. Wings were OK. Not bad but wouldn't rush back. Hoot the redeemer nearby is better if you just want a drink.

Ik heb hier gisteren samen met mijn broer gegeten en het beviel ons beiden erg goed! Ik had een lekkere kipburger gegeten en mijn broer nam de hamburger. Ook hadden wij allebei een colaatje en de frietjes met Cayenne. Al met al kostte het ons samen £40,- Zeker de moeite waard om langs te gaan!

I never leave reviews but had to for such an amazing place. Delicious food, awesome cocktails, and service you cannot fault. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Edinburgh!

Honestly one of the worst restaurants/bar I've been too in a while. The food quality was a 1/10, the food gave me food poisoning not worth the money spent. Staff were rude and short tempered. They wouldn't even have a civil conversation with us after we made 1 complaint. They became very passive aggressive and the manager refused to speak us, sending over other employees to deal with us with minimal effort. I've read through the reviews of The Boozy Cow, and found that to any negative review posted, a passive aggressive response is posted. So I look forward to the reply. For anyone who wishes to have a nice time out in Edinburgh, I strongly recommend not to go here.

Went for rhe staff party, really amazing place, the food spectacular 😋 and the girl (unfortunately I don't remember her name, but she has short purple hair) she was really friendly and attentive! An angel! Thank you so much, we had a good time, I recommend the watermelon cocktail 🍸 😋 😀

Lovely atmosphere and amazing decoration. Loved the vibes and great art on the walls. Most importantly the food was lovely and the drinks were so good. Would highly recommend and good value for money too. Our first stop when we arrived in Edinburgh so set a good tone for our trip!

Good beer and food although not top end. Burgers were good if a little bit expensive for what they are - but you are paying for the location and the "vibe" in the place.

The food was fantastic, however the best part was Row! Thank you for having fun with us and accommodating us! You were the star of our night!

Enjoyable dinner at boozy cow! Plenty to chose from, fantastic taste, and local flavours. Drinks selection was plentiful also, but maybe better selection of beer would’ve been great. The wings were a hit also!

I had to eat quickly because my train left at 4pm, but it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten! Don't forget to go and eat the fries with cheese!!!!!!

Good choice of food and drinks, burgers could use a little sauce or something as it was tasty but a little dry. Thought it was cheeky for our server to ask my girlfriend if she would like her change when the change was £10 and we had already paid a 10% service fee. We were actually intending to leave a tip before then but changed our mind as we thought it was rude. We had 2 servers the other was lovely.

Went here on staff night out and we all absolutely loved it! Great food and great fun! Served CJ kept us all laughing the whole night along with being amazing at their job! (Took a selfie so i didn’t forget to write a review!)

Doesn't look much on the outside but please don’t walk past. What an amazing atmosphere. My wife and I popped in to rest our tired legs after a day shopping and I’m so glad we did.

Lively place. They have a variety of cocktails. We went at lunchtime and had to wait around 5 min to be seated since we were a group of 6. The burgers don't come with fries....except for the Capaldi Burguer. It was a nice surprise.

The lady who served us and fixed that one of our burgers hadn't been cooked was amazing!! Food wasn't as special as I hoped and food section is a bit cramped. But my partner really enjoyed his Capaldi Burger 🍔

Amazing food, wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were a credit to the place, chatting and asking if we needed anything. Would recommend this place to everyone, and will be back!! Especially for that Philly cheesesteak, better than the one we had in America!

Food really isn't as good as the hype makes it out to be. Bog standard basic burgers that are a bit overpriced and overcooked. Don't order the wings!!! Great staff.

Selection of about 4 different boozy milkshakes, all sounded good the ones we had were amazing. Great vibe and nice staff

The food was incredible and there was music there, some people were dancing too, very good vibe overall. Service was also really good, had to wait a bit long at some point but it was very busy so it’s understandable. Very good experience overall, highly recommended!

Servers were amazing!! Caitlyn and Ro really looked after us, great service and wonderful personalities. The starters were sensational! We had the halloumi and tater tots, both delicious. The cocktails were absolutely amazing too. The burgers were good, but nothing too special. Overall a great experience and would happily go back.

I had the field burger and it was hands down the best vegan burger I've ever had ! Also as a veggie not vegan added the cheese injection that was a good touch

Went here just for a couple of drinks and it was really good! I can’t remember what drink I got but it looked really nice and was delicious! The day I went they also had an offer on. Will definitely be back again soon

The staff were miserable and rolling their eyes once looking away from servicing customers. The service was very slap dash like fast food, after our experience I would have actually rather have gone to McDonalds. We had our starters then the waiter said if we were ready for our mains we asked for wait for 15 minutes. As he was going into the kitchen someone else was bringing out our food, she turned around to go back in and they both walked out empty handed!! I then said if that’s our food we will have it as it will just sit on the side for 15 minutes. We had the beef burger and it was raw, it was pink. If the chef is going to make a burger like that they need to ask peoples cooked preferences first! The waiter did take it off our bill and explained that it shouldn’t have been cooked like that. It was a Sunday evening, I felt like they wanted everyone in and out quickly so they could close for the night. We won’t be going back and won’t be recommending for friends who visit.

Good food, decent prices. The poutine was good, as was the cheeseburger and beer. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. Unfortunately they've got some sort of overpowering air freshener that is so strong it nearly put me off my food.

Staff very friendly & helpful but food a disappointment. I ordered the cheese burger lunch special. Bun was stale and burger was generally tasteless. Fries were ok. Not sure if one of the bigger burgers was more flavourful but on basis of the cheese burgers I can’t recommend.

Yo this place, pretty boozy. Good cocktails and atmosphere. My only complaint was that the buffalo sauce fries were as salty as the dead sea

Over rated. Bread was not fresh. Asked twice for pepper and never got it. After they took the order, they found out they don’t have half of the items. Meh.

Sticky menus, sticky tables at 3pm in the afternoon. Food took 35mins to come out (2 sandwiches and 2 sides), no acknowledgement from staff. Food was okay but nothing special. Took over 25mins to get the bill then waited another 20mins to pay, eventually took ourselves to the waiter station to pay.

I have been wanting to try the Boozy Milkshakes and I can say it did not dissappoint. Great milkshakes, great atmosphere, great service. I also had their maple bacon burger which was alright. Not so bad, not so good. Overall good experience. I definitely recommend their fries and milkshakes.

We had a fun and tasty dinner at the restaurant. The burgers were good and we had delicious dirty fries. Had my first deep fried mars bar which was surprisingly good. Service was a bit bonkers but in a friendly fun way.

I have been here once before and the service was good but this time was very disappointing, we had two burgers and two pints. The pints arrived after 40 minutes and the burgers arrived cold 2 minutes after. Tasty enough despite obviously being sat around for a while and no apology from the staff for taking 40 minutes to bring two simple drinks over. Overall, could've just been a busy night for them, they were obviously struggling on the bar with massive backlog of cheques, but I won't be in a hurry to come back here

I had a terrible experience at The Boozy Cow. The manager was shockingly rude when I asked a simple question. To make matters worse, the food took a staggering 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive, and the drinks weren't much better, taking 40 minutes. What's baffling is that there were no more than 10 people in the restaurant at the time. To add insult to injury, the manager and staff were openly discussing our group in front of us, making rude comments. I would strongly advise against dining here.

Nice place, terrible table nr the toilets... that wasn't the problem, servers and other diners having to squeeze past to the bays at the back was a pain ... it was a table for four there was only two of us.... if you get this table .... refuse it ... food was nice every meal we seemed to have while we were visiting Edinburgh was £70 two drinks two mains and a stater ... would we go again .. probably not as we've done it nothing to do with the food.. I enjoyed mine

CJ “The Penicuik Princess” 👸 welcomed us at the door We ordered drinks and took our time perusing the menu before ordering the Sharing Nachos which, when they arrived, were enormous but delicious Took some time out and ordered a Heatwave Chicken and a Philly Cheesesteak (we didn’t require additional fries) and we were suitably full after our meal. Would recommend and will return 🍔
