This is a top sports bar. This venue is great for football fans, and other sports, as it’s full of football and sporting memorabilia. As well as being situated beside the legendary City Ground, it’s a prime location on match days. For access, you must go early when Forest play. Converted from either a Victorian or Edwardian house, the venue remains very spacious and contains games and numerous top range TV screens for football and other sports. The drink selections are generic, you wouldn’t come here real ale but rather for the sports with a lager like a classic sports bar. The drink prices were reasonable, however. The decor is nice and the venue is clean, especially the toilets, which can be a tricky job when busy. The staff are all friendly but service could be slow even at quieter times. The punters are a laugh and are your classic Nottingham locals. I would recommend if Forest and sports are your thing!

Booked a table here for Saturday 6th of November; this was the table no chairs and as you can see unless I'd gone with Dopey Bashful Doc and the rest of the 7 dwarves I wouldn't be sitting at that table. I queried this with the person behind the bar as to where the chairs were to be told that aren't any you book 'an area' From there on the attitude of the barman deteriorated from where he bordered on plain awkward to downright aggressive with such pearls of customer service as 'well, if you don't want it I'll give it someone else' and when referring to our half-poured drinks 'Do you want these or not?' He followed these up with ' that group over there have only good 5 chairs between 9' well that is a massive improvement on 0 out of 4 I thought Up there with some of the worse customer service I've ever received and the final cherry on the cake was he genuinely thought he was in the right!!!!!! Great place great location worst attitude

This was our first visit. We had a very nice lunch. All the staff were very attentive and very friendly. Lots of lovely outdoor seating. Dogs allowed. And a children's play area. All in all a really enjoyable experience aimed for everyone.

What a shame this once great pub has gone downhill so much. I used to live in West bridgford and visit this pub at least a couple of times a week with friends, I had been told that it was nowhere near as good but I wanted to pop in for old times sake. I remember when we would go in, I think on the first Tuesday of the month for real ale night, with guest beers and often a live band, the Pesky Alligators were great. You could buy regular food at a sensible price often served by a lovely lady called Jan. Table layouts have been altered to its detriment and now they only serve curry. What has happened to the great vibe this place used to have with really friendly bar stuff. Who on earth is running this place.....
