Lovely local pub vibes with great food and super friendly service.

Upon first approaching The Boot at Sarrat is looking a little tired and unkempt. Inside is the same. Behind the bar needs a good tidy up and it could use a lick of paint. Service was a little slow as the bar staff were distracted amongst themselves with talking, youngsters need to pay a little more attention these days 😆. Dog friendly, cider selection not great, a recurring theme in pubs in this area I'm afraid.

An enjoyable meal. I had the crispy shredded beef for starters and jerk chicken for the mains (which was a special). The portion size for the jerk chicken was quite large. Reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly. I'd certainly recommend The Boot and will definitely return.

Great food, very busy but was really organised, staff made sure we had everything we needed, quick service, would definitely recommend 😀

My father John is a regular and has recently been ill. The pub staff have been very kind to him and whilst staying locally I have had a couple of good meals in the pub. The management should be proud of their team.

The owner of the boot is mostly present and very welcoming and her staff are some of the most friendliest people I have come across in the hospitality business. Their food is terrific and the make really nice hot chocolate with marshmallows 😍

We went for Sunday lunch at The Boot and were really impressed. The food was substantial and tasty, the service was attentive and welcoming, and the setting was warm and inviting. I really encourage others to visit; Zoe and the staff are doing an excellent job in our opinion.

We chose to host a 40th Birthday Party in the marquee at The Boot... in February! We couldn't have been happier with the decision - everything about the event was perfect, from the first enquiry, through to the incredibly dedicated and professional service on the day itself. Playful kids had the benefits of the outdoor space, whilst adults enjoyed the warmed indoor space. The buffet options were excellent, quality top-notch and staff superbly attentive. Thank you to Adam, Zoe and the team at The Boot - well done all :-)

Awful experience for my daughters birthday meal, rowdy table nearby other tables got moved, but because we were a larger table had to endure it, nothing they said could be done as they didn't use a swear word, with no recompense, not what you expect from a Sunday lunch at a country pub.

Cozy place, with a good terrace for children. In winter perfect for a warm lunch in the pub. The staff was great, really efficient. And all the food we order for a big group was tasty and delicious. Highly recommended.

An AMAZING veggie roast with lovely staff.

We had an excellent lunch at the Boot on the August bank holiday Monday. We booked a table for 6 adults and 3 children very last minute and they managed to accommodate us much to our delight. My Mother and I popped in for lunch a couple of weeks ago. Pub has a nice atmosphere and the bar staff were lovely finding us a table. We ordered a fish goujon sandwich each and one of my goujons had several bones in. We mentioned it to who I guess was the manager (the guy who hangs around the front desk) who responded that someone else had said the same thing. When we got the bill I mentioned to him that he should of discounted my sandwich as it was horrible (as a gesture, I didn't care about the money) and his response was 'I'm sorry you feel we should have done that!' Hilarious! Any how My Mum lives on the Green there and all her neighbours asked how our lunch was etc. etc. The money is irrelevant but there should be some customer care on food experience.

This is a traditional English pub restaurant with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. The food is of very high quality, and I understand that all meat is locally sourced and both free-range and organic. Prices are reasonable and I have no hesitation in recommending it
