Had a great meal at the Fox the other Saturday night with my family - staff were friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and service was prompt. Thanks to Adam for serving us.

Went in for Sunday roast...had the Turkey.. Great portion and tasted divine.. Sue the Landlady was as friendly as ever and the staff helpful as usual.. Dog friendly pub...with the usual suspects having a catch up.. All the sports screens were on showing footy..Rugby.. Cricket. .E.T.C... And the mezzanine upstairs had the extra space to have a chill... Always a lovely experience with Sue and guests...

Fox and Hounds has been my local for year's. Always friendly and excellent food.Hence my choice for my Mum's wake yesterday .Excellent food and plenty of it.. drinks served quickly and efficiently. The staff were very helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Well done and thank you.

Had an all day breakfast at 8.30pm and it was delicious. Hot and well cooked. Highly recommended. A+++++++++

Have you ever heard of a pub that shows you away saying that they are too busy to take your order?(and their busy is 5 tables) Even though you are a regular? What a waste of space!!!

Friendly team, the usual pub food that you can order by app or go to the bar, food always cooked well. It's a sports bar, good for football and rugby! The outdoor area has recently had an upgrade, lovely space with good seating and outdoor TV's. They have weekly offers £5 burger day on Wednesdays. Live music at the weekends. There is an upstairs area that you can hire out for free if you really to have an event. Free parking, no need to sign in.

They have a good cask verified by Cask Marque.

My husband and I live locally and for the night before our wedding, my husband invited his family over and decided to try out our local. Bearing in mind, most of them were 60+ and the rest being in their 40s, they had to leave due to men demanding they show their ID badges as they had been told they were undercover police and that they wanted then out of the pub as they didn't belong there. So, never again will will suggest going there. The night before our wedding was memorable for the wrong reasons.

Absolutely bloody brilliant. Food was lovely, served hot and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend.

Pleasantly surprised! Very good food - we had fish and chips, chicken strips and apple blackberry crumble - nothing to fault at all. Fish and chips was light and not greasy or oily - chicken strips was the same light and not too heavy - pudding was nice with custard on the side and fresh raspberries - nice touch! Our server Nicky was the nicest Pub server I’ve ever come across! Friendly from start to finish and made us feel welcome - even asking us when we wanted the dessert. Food came out without a delay. I wouldn't hesitate visiting if you are in the area - they do 2 mains from £14.99 and a special seniors menu - 3 courses £8.50 - great value - thank you so much Nicky, chef and team!

Hidden gem. I used to go many years ago, decided to revisit and am happy I done so. Staff are so friendly, good great. We want to try the Sunday roast next 😉

Lovely sports bar , lots of big screen tvs ,a great selection of beer wines spirits , the food was excellent 👌

Typical old school pub run by Green King overing great beer like Abbot Ale etc. sister pub to the Red House which is up the road. We went there because the Red House was busy with a quiz night.

The place has sport showing on multiple screens, live music at the weekends and a great atmosphere. There is nothing you can't like brilliant English pub.

Always had a warm welcome here. Good pub grub at very reasonable prices, especially the Seniors menu and the 2 meals for under £12. Main menu also very reasonable. Staff are happy to welcome four-legged friends too.

Staff were friendly, but the food was mediocre. Beer wasn't at it's best. Guess you get what you pay for.

Had a bit of an issue tonight. Love the place, but Eliza is not the best bar staff. I walked in, up to the bar. No acknowledgement, she went and put some change into the pool table, came back, walked right by me, again, looked straight through me as if I wasn't there. Went into the back for a couple of minutes, then, finally, she deigned to serve me. Not the normal service from this place, which is normally top notch. Won't let her put me off though, cos the rest of the crew are excellent, shame she was the only one on.

Brilliant local with really lovely staff and unbelievable deals on their menu. The team did everything they could to make us feel very welcome at the fox and hounds. We're looking forward to joining in with all the great community events they arrange.

Just went to watch local band The Four Horsemen. The beer was good and the atmosphere excellent due to the music.

Was telling our friends how nice the food was.. went on Friday and wow its gone down hill which is a shame.. we were given dirty cutlery so had to ask for more..did get an apology for that.. the food wasn't great.. 4 meals.. the burger was burnt,the two steak and ale pies were tasteless and my hunters chicken (the chicken wasn't 100% cooked. We left and wished we just had take away else where..

Have been to this pub a number of times and l find the staff very friendly and helpful. We sometimes go there on a Sunday and we usually get two roast dinners and two drinks for a little over £20. The food is quit good and reasonable for the price.

I would like to thank the Fox and Hound staff for their warm welcome . Myself and 5 friends had lunch there today. Sue and her staff were charming and couldn't do enough to please us all. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would like to recommend it , you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be going back . Rae Carson

Booked for dads birthday! Service fantastic, staff so friendly and accommodating, food cooked as requested and such a reasonable price! 3 adults and two children under £60! Also pool table which is fab! Traditional pub in the recent age! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming again!

First visit for us. Staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing to much trouble. We went for the Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the pub. We will be back!

Cheap drinks compared to most pubs in the area. Food is good and the atmosphere is great. Would recommend getting there early if you're going for a football game.

Fabulous food at a fantastic price. Staff are very welcoming and you get served very quickly. They also have a lovely beer garden.

Always enjoy our visits here. Staff are lovely and very welcoming. The pub is very dog friendly. The food is great value for money and well presented, and there is a good variety and special requirements are well catered for. Drinks are reasonably priced and a good selection is held. Draft beers are kept well. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Leonie the new assistant manager is a great asset to the team and she works very hard to make sure we are all happy. We come in every Friday for a few drinks after a long week at work and the service is alway great. We will continue to come here and enjoy our Friday evenings! Thank you for all your help!
