The title says it all really, not expensive, no gourmet food, just good old fashioned pub grub. You can order and pay on the app from your table or go to the bar and bring your drinks back. Service is pretty quick depending on how busy they are. Refills for tea and coffee are a bonus as need at least 2 coffees to get going in a morning. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here and they are all decent, no frills food at a decent price. Staff are pleasant and helpful and are fairly quick to clear your table when you have finished. Great place to go for a quick inexpensive breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Just had breakfast and when we were finished and the plates etc were collected, I politely told the lady (as she didn't ask) that our breakfasts were tasty but very cold. To which she replied "oh" smiled and walked off! I know that Witherspoon is no up market restaurant but surely you would expect a better level of service than this?

We arrived at Wetherspoons there were 4 of us. Sat down ordered on the Ap was told it was 11 minutes wait on food. When it finally came out 25 minutes later it was cold. I had cod it was small and full of batter hardly any fish. My friend had an all day brunch and the bacon was shrivelled to nothing and the beans were cold. When we complained to the waitress ( she had red hair and quite a large voice) we were told that she would replace the meal but the fish will be the same again as it’s the way it comes in also would have to wait another half hour as it was getting busy. I tried to explain that we were getting a train and we couldn’t wait another half an hour but she spoke over me on her radio and I felt my problem wasn’t felt with professionally. I also addressed the wait time from the drinks coming to when our food was served ( drinks arrived 4 minutes after ordering) she really wasn’t helpful at all and said the bar service is always quicker than the kitchen service. We pretty much left our meals and left. I know it’s only a Wetherspoons and food is cheaper than the other pubs but at least let’s have some quality. If no quality from the food at least get staff that can address an issue as I see she was wearing a “team leader ” pin. Maybe some more training?

Toilets are filthy and not cleaned regular. Everybody seems to use toilet because it’s never locked. If you haven’t got a key then you shouldn’t use them.

Came to Tamworth to visit the Castle and loved it. Needed sustenance and so it was Wetherspoons time. The Bole Bridge honed into view and the decision was made. Two curries and a couple of lemonades were needed. The pub was comfortable enough without being spectacular. It was a busty lunchtime, but the food still arrived in good time. And they were rather lovely. The tikka masala in particular was an absolute triumph. My wife enjoyed it immensely. My madras was almost as good though did come in second. The Bridge was a perfectly acceptable example of a Wetherspoons offering that just did the job.

Awful. Manager has no people skills whatsoever and it appears that he has no interest in his customer satisfaction. Bar staff lied to me and manager lied to my wife.

In contrast to Weatherspoons Warwick, The Tamworth Branch was a treat to visit. Clean tables, warm and welcoming. Very pleasant and efficient and five real ales in addition to the other Ruddles Doombar junk Perhaps the manager of Warwick should be sent to Tamworth for retraining!...

It is just over 10 years since I last visited the Bole Bridge, and standards have improved, and overall we had a very enjoyable meal. We ordered from the Lunch menu. one ham, eggs and chips, the other fish and chips with peas. The food was served promptly, and was very tasty. Our soft drinks were included in the meal price. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the venue had a pleasant atmosphere. Recommended.

Never again . After driving over an hour to get there for a family lunch and finding a table it was not the cleanest ( although credit to the staff they were trying their best) . We were told a 20 min wait for food , again no real issue at all as they were busy but when it came what an absolute let down. I had main Mediterranean salad . It was literally a small handful of salad leaves with half a tomato and 2 slices of cucumber and a tablespoon of quinoa mix on it . It wasn’t even a side dish size . I showed the table staff and she took it back . It came back with 2 spoons of quinoa on it . What a waste of money . More to the point why send it out like that in the first place . My sister’s plant based burger looked like it had been thrown together by a small child and my husband’s 8 piece scampi had 10 chips . The mushy peas were the biggest portion on the plate 🙄. Overall the quality of all of our meals was not good . What a shame as we have been there before and it has been very nice . Credit to staff in pub delivering food and tidying up . They were working very hard and the 1 star was for them .

Terrible food don't go, if this is the standard of food at wetherspoons then you can keep it, worst food I have had if there was a 0 out of ten then I would rate 0. Proper bad food.

By far the best Wetherspoons I have visited. Came with Family last Saturday it was very busy but Laura ( I think that’s her name) made sure we got a clean table and the food and service was exceptional. I have visited a few Wetherspoons but this one was very clean , friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The wait time on the food was about half an hour but worth the wait. Kids enjoyed themselves lovely beer garden and super friendly. Will visit again definitely well done to all the staff there. Only one small complaint could have really needed a couple more staff on to ease the pressure from the ones that were there. Well done Laura for keeping that smile on your face.

I popped down to the pub for tea as I could not be bothered to cook!! I drank a pleasant glass of chilled Pinot Grigio and ordered sausage and mash with roast vegetables on the side. The main dish arrived with a generous portion of peas but the side dish turned out to be a very meagre portion of roast Mediterranean produce which was very poor value. The mash was buttery and of an even texture. The three plump were nicely brown but proved to be rather too dense and sweet for my liking. I finished with apple crumble and custard which, I believe was somewhat over spiced with cinnamon. Overall this was a reasonable meal for the type of establishment.

Came here on a busy Saturday afternoon. The place was packed, just about for a table. Despite being so busy we were served quickly, ordered food which was served fast and delicious. Drinks were good, and all so cheap. Service was great, cannot fault this place at all.

Have visited here twice and it was hit and miss! The first time was a busy evening. Ordered on the app, and the food didn't take to long to arrive. I had the mega mixed grill and the whole lot was hot and tasted nice. The meats were cooked pretty well. The wife had a steak and that was cooked to her liking and was nice and tender. Good price really which included a drink. As the food was good last time, we visit again a month later. Visited in the afternoon so was quieter. Ordered via the app again as it's pretty easy to do. Food on this occasion was no where near as good as our previous visit. The meat on the mixed grill was lukewarm and pretty rubbery. I order a side of chicken wings and when they arrived they were stupidly small. Literally the size was shorter than my thumb and only slightly thicker, and hardly any meat on them, Not good at all. Overall the value is good, even better when the good is on the good side.

Ordered Mediterranean salad with tuna. Had the same 6 days previously & really enjoyed it. When the salad arrived it was presented in a small-sized salad bowl. I asked the blonde waitress who brought it to the table why it was in a small bowl. Her response was they had changed the size bowl however it was the same amount! This was clearly not the case! I feel so fobbed off just because she couldn't be bothered to deal with the complaint, hopefully this review will make her be retained on how to deal with a customer's complaint?

We visited this Wetherspoon's Bolebridge restaurant before seeing the wonderful 'Dad's Army Radio Show' at the nearby Tamworth Assembly Rooms and were delighted with the quality of the food and the excellent value - especially the Thursday Curry Menu!

We have used this wetherspoons several times - it was recently re furbished and looks the better for it. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is scrummy.

Last time we came here was for my fiancees birthday and we were refused drinks as we had not ordered food. I heard that the manager has since been replaced and a big refurb was underway. We celebrated my fiancees birthday again and although things were greatly improved, such as being able to buy a drink while waiting for the rest of us to arrive, we were treated a whole lot better! If I have any qualms is there are a few teething problems as they adjust to the new set up and extra seating as food items ran out. They offered and gave us alternatives for the missing items and it was a very pleasant visit. We have taken this place off our personal boycott list and will be back in a few months time when the dust has settled from the major work that has gone on. I really don't know where to begin!! Met family here last night for our Christmas get together meal and it was appalling. As we were limited to time and we were all hungry, I did not complain as I would normally do if offered cinders as a meal!! I ordered the mixed grill...the different meats were unidentifiable as it was so thin and charcoaled on one side. My son had a sirloin steak and asked for medium rare...again...charcoaled burnt one one side and flipped over for presentation. My partner ordered the chicken burger... again meat over cooked and very unappetizing. We will never use a Wetherspoons again. I hasten to add I am writing this from the big white throne as I have been ill to my stomach since I ingested this appalling 'food'. I've fed better to my dogs.

Served by the friendly Fiona who was doing a fine job of serving most of the customers whilst I was present. The management seem to be doing a fair job in promoting the current Wetherspoons Real Ale festival with bunting up and dozens of beer mats scattered.I tried a couple of the festival beers: a half of Heart of Glass, quite good, and a pint of Salopian Infinite Orbit #verygood. Quite busy when I was here in this smallish size 'Spoons, but may be even busier following the immanent refurb. New beer garden will open in December.Map pop back and have a look.

Went in on Tuesday as partner wanted mixed grill(as did a few others after all its steak Tuesday) too be told they arent serving grills etc due to air con in the kitchen?? So if this is the case then why were they still serving burgers, gammon sausage etc.

Went in around 5.15pm 20.8.19. Went in the side entrance opposite the bed shop. Went to the left to sit in a window seat - no way - white stuff all over pulled out seat - table disgustingly dirty as was floor. Tried 2 other tables in the same area (main area full of drinkers). decided on the third table as it looked better, but sat down and tables awfully sticky and menus very very dirty. Its steak club Tuesday - but THEY DO NOT DO STEAK.

We had food here recently. The food was to a good standard and pricing sensible. It was very busy and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also tried the phone app to purchase food from our table which worked well. A nice visit.

My wife and I visited for a coffee and snack during lunchtime so it was quite busy and noisy - due I think because of the low ceiling.

Had a pleasant visit. Was everything you expect from a Wetherspoons really - average food served at ambient temperature with a nice, but average, pint. Used app to order food and drink - drink came within 1 minute and food took about 5 minutes.

On my last visit I had the worst Wetherspoons steak ever and reviwed as such. Tonight the Spoons has redeemed itself with an excellent mixed grill for me and skinny sirloin for my wife accompanied by well kept Abbot Ale.

We were in Tamworth for a party. While we were there we visited this Wetherspoons for a meal and drink. The place is very clean and the food was excellent. Great value for money. Would definitely go back.

This is a JD Wetherspoons, so it's a busy place. We ordered using a phone app, 3 starters for £10, haloumi sticks, chicken wings, chicken goujons, for main courses we had, 2 fish and chips and a spare rib and chicken breast with bbq sauce, all served with French fries, 4 pints of lager, 2 cokes, our bill came to only £40, which is absolutely unbelievably good value for money. The only gripe I have about the Bole Bridge are the skirting board's in the ladies toilet, they are very, very dusty, please get your cleaner to wash them, otherwise it's a clean place, with very pleasant staff.

On our way to Market Bosworth never having visited Tamworth decided to make it our first stop as booking into our hotel wouldn’t be until 2 pm.

We visit the Bole bridge regularly on Tuesday for a steak which were reasonable,but over the last year the quality has deteriorated ,now it resembles the texture of carboard.i hate complaining but I feel I have speak out ,because I like the Bolebridge

Popped in here for dinner as a family of four. Found somewhere to sit easily, ordered our food and only waited approximately 15 minutes for it to arrive. We paid £23 for 4 meals and 4 drinks, food was delicious. Would recommend.

Called in for a drink before eating at home . Really quiet at 3 o’clock . A pleasant place to visit and enjoy each other’s company . Will call again at this sort of time.

We visited at lunchtime, we both had the breakfast one large one small. The large breakfast at £4.99 was great value and really tasty. Our only complaint was that certain items on the plates were cold. This is the reason we did not score it a 5 star.

I called in for an early lunch on a Thursday while I was strolling around Tamworth enjoying the great weather. Wetherspoons pubs do vary in quality, and it is often the staff that make the difference.

Visited pre and post visit to Drayton manor as staying in a Travelodge nearby. It's the usual Wetherspoons type pub. Staff were friendly . The food was good. I had a sirloin on the Monday night med rare. One of the best I've had from the chain. Wife had fish and chips and son a kids meal all good. Beer choice as usual good. We went back for breakfast they have a new breakfast menu. Eggs Benedict x2 very nice but the rocket salad was very limp must have been out all night...sons meal was ok to. Service good. Then after the park we had a meal to wait for traffic to die down before heading back to South Wales. 2 chicken bbq melts. Both hit the spot and arrived fairly quickly despite them being busy. Overall very happy at the usual good value.

Visited on a quiet Sunday evening. My rump steak was the worst I have ever had at Wetherspoons and I have had a few over the years 50% inedible. Duty manager needs to up his game. No check back to see if our meals were ok, delivered meals to an adjacent table and walked off without taking our finished plates. In the end, after about 30 minutes, I had to take my plate back to the counter. I received a belated apology and a refund but I was annoyed about the total lack of management in the place. Empty glasses etc on tables.

I really wish I had chose elsewhere. There was several of us eating and a couple of friend drinking as you can see by the picture this is what was on the chair for our entire visit. The place was filthy there was plenty of staff I understand they didn't put the nappy there but when serving people food they would have moved it. Very poor I will never eat here again.

Been several times. Its located on the edge of town. Its typical of the chain. Great beers, attention to detail on the branded glasses. Always a great beer selection. Definitely one to try and return

we phoned ahead to ask if we needed to book, we were told no! 14 of us arrive and were told by the overworked starff to find a seat anywhere but don't block any exits! nice. we then had to order at the bar (after cleaning up our own tables from the last customers), placed orders and was told there was a 30-40 min wait, that would be ok if we didn't have 2 four year olds. food finally came and my sons order was wrong, my cold sweet chilli wrap was freezing, too cold to eat! i was told by staff that it's meant to be like that! uumm no thanks, i had brain freeze! really messy, really chaotic, very disorganised. I'm in no rush to go back

Just visited this Wetherspoons twice, once for drinks and food in the evening and for breakfast the following morning as we were staying at the Travelodge a few minutes stroll away.

Inexpensive drinks and well priced pub food is what you expect from a Wetherspoons and this delivers. My wife enjoyed the Empire State burger but only have it if your hungry as it's a good size.

We frequently visit this Spoons and find it a pleasant place with a consistant high level of food and pleasant staff. Recently there have been price increases and some reduction in portion size, particularly on the fish. However the drink prices are among the best in Tamworth. There is also a good variety of draught bitter beers, some from small speciality breweries. These are changed often. The beer is always well kept.

Can highly recommend ,Very reasonable and great choice also very pleasant welcome from friendly staff ,you don't get this from some of the other Weatherspoons .

This Wetherspoons is my local and I have never been disappointed. The food is always up to standard, and if on the odd chance that it isn't, the problem is always quickly resolved without a fuss.

If you like wetherspoons you will like this. Good range of food and prices are reasonable. Food has a different deal each night.

On our short break to Tamworth, staying at the Travelodge we found this pub to be very convenient for our meals, the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We did this trip last year and it was nice to see some of the same helpful staff. A pleasant experience

Just visited today 8 oz sirloin steak with a drink £7.15, can't go wrong. The steak was cooked beautifully, it was really busy but our food didn't take long to arrive. Most of the condiment bottles were empty though. All in all good restaurant with great atmosphere. Would recommend and return again.
