Pub is closed. Tenants ran off with deposits from event bookings.

Was supposed to be going to an 80s weekend. Paid deposit but it's closed down. Please don't book through anywhere. AVOID !!!

Booked and paid deposit for a weekend here as did a lot of other people. The weekends now aren't taking place as it's no longer open and we haven't had a refund

One of the best Bike Nights in the Midlands. 15 mins North from Blithfield Reservoir and 10 mins South from Uttoxeter Hundreds of friendly bikers every Tuesday evening from Spring to Autumn, large hard car park, good food, Tea and Coffee (give a bit of change for charity) Fantastic Staffordshire roads to get there from Tamworth, 30 mins North through Elford, Alrewas, Kings Bromley and Abbots Bromley

Went to check my bookings on their website and it has disappeared and they are not answering calls. They appear to have CLOSED DOWN.I booked several camping weekends having paid deposits

I can't comment on rooms because we stayed here with our caravan, but the facilities for the money are great. The staff really lovely, location pretty and not far from A roads for travelling.

Wouldn't go again, the food generally was luke warm and the potatoes were hard. Beer was OK and service was friendly. But in the age of drink driving this is too far for us and sadly we won't drive there again for the food. Shame really.

Thought I would try this place out as I like country pubs when I arrived I only saw two cars on the carpark. This is a bad sign especially on a Saturday afternoon the cars must of been for the staff working there. Walked in through door to find the pub completely empty bar and restaurant, the bar was a very dull and bland atmosphere and dated decor more life in a mortuary so I walked out straightaway. Never seen such a grim miserable country pub in all my life !! There is a reason why this place is dead, needs a complete Refurb !!

Stopped for the weekend on the Pitch and food package. Food was excellent especially the full English breakfast served by Lana who was so friendly and helpful. Local band played on Saturday night, good atmosphere and locals were very friendly.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in my caravan after finding this place attending the bike night. What a cracking pub. The owners and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is top-notch and prices reasonably. Will definitely be returning .

We went there for the bike meet, which was a good turnout. It's a shame the food wasn't up to much at all and wasn't much of a selection of beer

The beef and the chicken burger were great, the server was quite busy but still came around to check up on us to ensure all was good. Fantastic service

Sunday lunch was lovely, great tasting. Would be better with homemade Yorkshire puds. Waited 10 minutes after the plates were cleared, no one came so we had to go to bar to get another drink and then we were asked if we wanted desert, could understand if they were busy, but only us and a table of 7 eating. Menu needed wiping down, legs on tables could do with a clean, as could radiators and windows. Shame as pub has loads of potential, just needs those finishing touches. Decor also needs consideration, a mish mash of styles

We go up for the bike night on every Tuesday, seems like a great place. Never ordered food from there so can't comment on that but love how they include bikers like they do

Awful, dirty unwelcoming and a very limited menu. Dead flies and wasps on the window sills and flies crawling all over the empty tables around us. Not a very pleasant experience.

Amazing food, great location and very welcoming staff. Great value for your moneys worth and would highly recommend to anyone passing the area or wanting a quiet trip out

Great atmosphere on bikers night

Visited yesterday for the Sunday Cavery. 4 choices of meats. Beef, pork, turkey, Gammon. Lots of choice of vegetables. Very nice. All enjoyed. Staff very friendly. Will visit again soon.

Started the evening returning a dirty glass. These things happen, but it didn't get much better. Food was average with very limited salad, and on the pricy side. No condiments, no napkins. Little things but they add up. Service poor. Ordered pudding for four and got one, then a twenty minute wait for the others. We won't be going back.

Not a great meal food was not the greatest and genuinely was looking forward to it so was disappointed 😞 staff were lovely and welcoming

Tuesday night is the best bike night around. Great food, great prices and great atmosphere. And now they serve Hawkestone lager on tap (Jeremy Clarksons)

A archetypal country pub in a beautiful rural area. It’s a little tucked away so you’ll need your nav to find it. Once there you’ll not be disappointed. The staff are welcoming and the food is wholesome pub favourites. They also do a fabulous Sunday lunch menu, you’ll have to book to ensure a table. On a Tuesday it’s a Mecca for bikers. They provide brilliant fast food, usually curry’s, burgers, and loads of chips. Its usually packed buts there’s plentiful outdoor seating. I’ve been to the bike meets, and for Sunday lunch. It’s one our favourite country pubs, give a try. Highly recommended.

Was a cold night. Didn't stay long.

Dropped upon the venue whilst out for the day had been there before about 6/7 yrs ago. So decided to pop in on approach the building looked very tired and could do with a little bit of TLC. However on entering the building was met be a young lady behind the bar, who was extremely helpful asked about food apart from the carvery the kitchen was closed the young lady explained when the restaurant was open and on what days, asked if I could see the menu to which she duely obliged. Pricing was reasonable and the options were good. Will return to sample the food menu during the week when the kitchen is open.

Absolutely lovely. Nice carvery, nice dining room, nice staff, nice and clean everywhere. It’s completely impossible to find a fault. This place caters for absolutely everyone. Any negative reviews, trust me, are from aliens from Planet Zog.

Great owners, great food and drink choices. First time to the car meet there and was a good turn out. Will be returning again for car meets and outside of car meets.

Awful awful awful, genuinely worst carvery ever had. Had to race home due to feeling so rough after. Veg was cold and over cooked.

We stayed at this great little place, The Pub has five pitches which were quite level, there were four of us that had Motorhome's staying on their pitches which included EHU for £20.00, it was very quite at night, we had a meal and drink in the Pub, it was very nice, although the fish was very small that came with my fish & chips, everyone else's portions ( different choices) seemed ok.

We had a really nice experience at The Blythe Inn. The food was fantastic,we will definitely be back. Its such a friendly and welcoming place to visit.

Clean and comfortable pub. Food quite pricey, no lunch menu, had a starter which was okay. Only sells flavoured ciders so I had beer which was fine. A lot of pubs have cheaper lunch menus, I think you don't want a full meal at midday.

Really lovely place in a very nice area! The missus and I were in the area seeing friends and admiring the lovely houses! We stopped in to the pub and had a wonderful lunch with a bottle of red. Beef burger and fish 'n chips it was! We met Sam who's the manager/owner. Lovely chap!

We were going to Nelsons Distillery nearby and this was walkable so we could sample the gins and sleep in their little campervan area. This was £10 as we didn’t need electric. Staff and locals friendly.

Attended a party here and stayed on their small campervan section. Can't comment on food or accommodation but the staff were very friendly. Great looking country pub and restaurant and I believe with new owners so I wish them well on this venture..

Looks a lovley location. With a campervan parking area. Unfortunately was not serving food at 6pm. So left a little disappointed 😞

It was pretty quiet when we visited and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. They put the heating on for us as it had turned chilly and the food and service was first class. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely little place stayed for the night in campervan had a great dinner in the evening snd even opened early in the morning for us to use the toilet and cooked us a beautiful breakfast will definitely visit again

Poor communication, with no concern for the disruption caused by their events to the local community.

We stayed on the caravan site on the pub grounds for the weekend. There were a few of us we had drinks Friday night and a meal Saturday night and drinks after. The landlord and staff were very friendly they welcomed us all aswell as the dog. We had a fab weekend and will be returning as soon as we can.

Stopped over for 2 nights camping, superb location, food at the pub was spot on and loads of it and owners /staff were very friendly. Food/drink prices were all reasonable as well.

As a biker it's the place to go for a beef bap, best beef I have ever tasted, turkey and chicken too. On sunny days food is outside. Locals say the Sunday roast is to die for. Large car park, still fills up with bikers now and then😃

Lovely food provided for a family function held there. Lovely views over lush green countryside. Very old inn lots of character and atmosphere. We will be going there again

have just spent 5 nights there with our caravan, really nice people owners and staff, the meals where very nice, and the real ale ,what more can you ask for as its in a very good spot for touring round, Stafford being only a short drive 12 or so miles, and Uttoxeter 4 miles ish, nice hard standing for caravans (only 4 places at moment) but set well back from the inn . really glad it is open again . see you again

Lovely old pub near to river Blythe. Outside seating with beautiful views over countryside a view to be treasured in these days of covering every green space with concrete and bricks. A lovely fresh and plentiful buffet provided for guests after celebrating the life of a much missed family member. I'd give it 10 stars if I could

We stayed on a touring pitch first thing we noticed was dog poo in the grass but the place seemed nice n quiet and the owners we nice but at night the carpark was noisy until 12-1am every but one night.. cars reving car radios and shouting maybe OK for some but not for us food was ok but highly expensive..toilets were meant to be opened at 8am in morning for campers but not until 10am most days...the area was lovely but we wouldn't go again.

You should try the food here it was freshly prepared and very tasty We had the chicken Kiev homemade and proper chips was spot on. Going to try the Sunday lunch!

Lovely place to go for a chilled drink

Always a friendly welcome at the Blythe. We went on a Tuesday evening intending to have a meal. Because of the biker night that takes place on Tuesday there was no food service other than the outdoor service laid on for the bikers. We joined the queue and had a really tasty chicken curry - turned out to be a very relaxed and enjoyable evening.

Bike night every Tuesday, great food and drink. Atmosphere is always amazing can't think of a better way or place to spend a Tuesday night.

absolutely brilliant weekend attended a vintage rally for cancer. the pub was very busy but everybody was served as soon as possible food.lovely. Great outdoor sitting area. we stay on electric pitch again water available and Elson point live entertainment enjoyed by everyone. will.certainly.be back next year.

We went for a drink with friends their was a steam rally on for charity we had a curry for lunch a few drinks highly recommended give it a try you won't be disappointed

Fantastic Stopover in the Motorhome
