Un sábado por la noche en el centro de Londres con cinco personas con ganas de comer y beber bien, pero ninguna reserva era bastante preocupante. Afortunadamente, mi hija menor se conectó y vio que los Blue Posts no tomaron reservas y fue bien revisado. Muy gratamente sorprendido al encontrar que era un pub Sam Smiths, por lo que una buena cerveza estaba garantizada. Subí las escaleras, encontré una mesa, pedí entrantes, gaseosas, pudín, cervezas y cócteles. Todo era muy bueno y el servicio era amable. Espero volver la próxima vez que esté cerca de Oxford Circus. Al romper el pub por la calle Newman, los últimos días el trabajo en el sitio ha cerrado por el día debido al clima y he venido aquí con mi viejo para algunos frascos y algunas flechas. Viejo boozer de estilo sin trucos sin sentido. Siempre tengo una cerveza stout cuando estoy con mi padre, pinta hermosa aquí, £ 6. 70 . Geezers que manejan el alcohol son grandes tipos que han estado felices de escuchar a mi padre chatear basura sobre arsenal durante dos días seguidos. Es bueno encontrar un pub no lleno de idiotas, y puedes sentarte con tu pinta y charlar. Las fotos no lo parecen, pero se ocupa más tarde en las tardes.

This is a great pub, pub food, decent beer, restaurant is upstairs and it was first come for seating. The place had a fantastic atmosphere, was clean food was good, and the staff were good, they were very busy. Worth a visit.

Popped in for a pint of Guinness with my partner after an afternoon of shopping. Best pint I've had in a long while! Certainly worth a look in if passing

It is fantastic, a classic burger and organic white beer in front of fire home is a dream. The member of staff is a gentlman.

Great find this was! Nice little pub, good food, and reasonable priced! Service was quick as we had about an hour before our trip to the theatre! Ian was very welcoming , just what a barman should be!

Fantastic small pub hidden away from the craziness of soho/Leicester sq/piccalilly is this lovely pub, good selection of Samuel Smiths finest. Very friendly barman and manager who really looked our for my friend when they noticed a possible theft. Highly recommend.

We normally go to the Nordic Bar but it was full so we thought that this pub looks nice from the outside so we went in. There was a table by the door where we sanitised our hands and scanned the track and trace barcode thing. And there was a sign by the bar saying that to be seated and orders taken from the table. So we took a seat by the window and waited, The barman stayed behind the bar for 5 minutes then another customer walked in and the barman came out talked to him got him a drink then chatted some more to him then went back behind the bar we waited a further 5 minutes while he did stuff behind the bar and polished glasses ignoring us the whole time. then a lady who worked there came from the back to behind the bar and started to do stuff. we waited a further 5 minutes then left. We have never had worse customer service ever before.

Really enjoyed our visit here.We had upstairs all to ourselves which was nice and it felt nice and cosy.Didnt have to wait long for our meals,we had generous portions.I had the Battered Halloumi which was gorgeous.Great Location,great service greta price,well recommended.

No visit to London would be complete without some authentic English, Fish & Chips and Mushy Peas. The Blue Posts did not disappoint. The beer was very enjoyable also

Cena invitante in questo tipico pub inglese. Molto buona la carne accompagnata da una discreta selezione di birre. Nessuno ci aveva avvisato che l'ordine si faceva al piano terra, lo abbiamo scoperto perché lo abbiamo chiesto dopo aver aspettato un po'.

We were staying close to this little pub so decided that on our first night in London my husband was to have fish n chips. I had the chilli con carne and both meals were very good as was the service.

A 'must visit' on my days in London. The Sam Smith's beers are always in excellent condition although my choice is usually the Sam Smith's stout, just as good (if not better) than Guinness and at a much lower price than usually found in London (July 2019: £3.80). I dined there with a work colleague recently and the food was good and delivered quite quickly. Not 'The Ritz' but very acceptable. i can honestly recommend seeking it out.

Returning here after 10+ years I was pleased to see that it was still a Sam Smith's pub. Their shtick is divisive, but I'm a fan of the fact that all the drinks are products of Tadcaster's rather unimaginatively named Old Brewery. Never being a fan of Old Brewery Bitter I opted for the dependable Extra Stout. As my title alluded it does get very busy midweek between 5 & 6. The traditional fixtures are both curse and blessing. Be careful not to stand behind a pillar at the bar and render yourself invisible to bar staff. On the other see my pic - wonderful table upon a table. There is a room upstairs which is styled "dining area" although I saw no evidence of food being served.

Wow is so good this pub ! Not a lot people can find a sit easy on Saturday! Have a drink with friends good price!

My boyfriend and I visited on Saturday and we had a delightful experience. The service was amazing, the pub was very quiet on the second floor, the food was delicious (I had fish and chips and a pudding). We spent a few lazy hours by the fireplace. A great place to chill and enjoy great food on a sleepy Saturday!

About twenty years ago, this was my local to work boozer, and it was nothing fancy, but always good fun. Popped in here tonight to find it was overrun with a very very young crowd, hammered and being general awful and noisy and rude. While this is no fault of the pub, the staff didn’t seem to care too much and despite the noice, weirdly the pub has no atmosphere or soul. It’s very basic inside and feels like a youth club rather than a pub. Really not pleasant.

I piatti inglesi sono molto buoni e il locale è accogliente, decisamente caratteristico. Oltretutto è molto vicino a Piccadilly e Carnaby Street. È stato un bel pranzo pre ritorno a casa. Un bell'ultimo ricordo di questo viaggio a Londra.

Mi esposa y yo, y un par de amigos, nos hemos encontrado aquí varias veces cuando visitamos Londres por un día. Está a solo un par de cientos de metros del lado norte de Oxford Street, hacia el final de Tottenham Court Road.

Ottima cena, pub carino e frequentato da giovani.. Tavoli distribuiti su due piani, bisogna scendere al piano inferiore per ordinare al cameriere che poi porterà al tavolo l'ordinazione. Servizio veloce e cortese, piatti molto buoni e soddisfacenti.

Visited this pub for a drink at the weekend, and what a nice little find. Great atmosphere and great to have a pint in a proper British pub!

Called in for lunch but soon as you walked through door the place you can smell a strange damp like smell Ok I suppose if you just want a drink Very off putting if your eating we walked out again

Fuimos a tomar una cerveza con dos amigos después del trabajo. El bar sirve puro hecho orgánico Lager, sorprendentemente, era una de las mejores cervezas que he probado en mucho tiempo.

Taking a break here while wife was shopping on Oxford street. It was full as a soccer game was on... very friendly staff and equally friendly crowd had gathered. My 7 yr old son and i had a great time. Go for their local ales!!

Metimos en un rápido y encontramos este tradicional cerveza Pub de Londres debe ser uno de los mejores pequeños bares que he ido en Londres.

El bar "está abajo con un poco más lujoso. Zona arriba Sólo se sirve comida de arriba. La casera ha sido aquí años y trabajó durante años de burro sam's, así sabe lo que hace! Mano tire la cerveza está bien pero un poco en la parte plana, estilo, no Lahndon mi gusto y no traje O.. Es mejor servido con un buen cabeza, todavía era aceptable. Decoración razonable, cervezas el típico Sam's en el precios baratos, como siempre. Yo suelo recomendar allus establecimiento cualquier sam's, esta no es la excepción.

Después de un ajetreado día de compras en Oxford street, decidimos probar un par de cervezas y tropezamos con el azul. Un tradicional pub de Londres con el bar de la planta baja y el primer piso un poco más saludable. Como era un Sam Smiths pub los precios eran muy razonables para Londres con el personal del bar extremadamente cortés y agradable. También había comida servida, aunque no muestra nada. El ambiente era bueno y una buena mezcla de personas estaban en el bar, en general, una experiencia muy agradable.

Great Sam Smiths pub just off Oxford Street. Great booze, well priced and the food is pretty decent. Go here a few times a year and never disappointed.

We found this great pub while in London and in need of a break from the crowds on Oxford street. We were greeted by the friendly staff and had no problem finding a table. It was clean and there were tables outside to sit if you wished. I had the burger and a pint of the organic pure brewed lager which were both great and good value for money. Will definitely be back next time we are in London.

Walked past and the venue looked clean and friendly. Decided to go inside with colleague for evening dinner. We both ordered 3 starters each as sharers. Unfortunately when they arrived I felt like I was back on the 70s at a little chef. The batter around the onion rings mushrooms and squid was very brown and overcooked and the squid tasted like it was a pretend squid. It was cheap cooking by numbers.

Stumbled across this corner pub whilst looking for somewhere to sit after a sweaty walk down Oxford St. It's a very traditional pub in terms of decor. Dark wood and the usual bits and bobs on the walls. Their beers and lagers are great and very reasonably priced considering the location. There was the option of lunch but indoors only and in the upstairs bar only. We decided on beer and crisps. Outside seats are wooden benches and you can choose to sit in the sun or the shade and watch the world go by. Friendly, attentive staff, quality product and reasonably priced. What more could you want?

Pretty good for a central London pub. Plenty of beer selection and in good condition, relatively wasn't too expensive either. Only downside was quite small even including the extra seating up stairs but that's fairly standard for central London. Will nip in when next passing as is a pleasant stop pre-theatre or post-work etc.

Depending on when you go there is either absolutely no atmosphere or it is really buzzing. Good selection of cheap lagers, worth a visit

I have been coming here. For nearly a year mainly lunchtime but some evenings. Always friendly. Good food & cheap beer!

We always go here for a couple of good value drinks before going in the much more expensive 100 Club just round the corner on Oxford Street. And often band members are in before due to it being almost adjacent to the back entrance to the clubBeing a Sam Smiths pub it doesn't sell "branded" stuff therefore the are much cheaper than most london pubs.Its got a great london atmosphere and it's good to sit outside in the summer

Went for a quick drink after work on the way to dinner near Leicester Square, easy to find (close to Green Park station). Pub was busy inside (not many seats available) but got served quickly. Had a nice selection of beers/ ales on tap so plenty of choice.Small area to stand outside with drinks which was where we based ourselves. Would visit again.

We popped in for a couple of drinks pre dinner at Berners Tavern. We thought it was a decent old style pub with good beer and efficient service. Not much to look at but well kept ale, as a proper pub should be. Decent atmosphere as well.

The pub is ok, a normal typical London pub with a reasonable choice of beers but the staff was very unpolite and not welcoming at all.

Staff make me happy food is very good beer is cheap will be back again. I have taken staff and clients to this location and it has been a good night

Visited this pub recently with some friends and was very happy with it. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere was good. The 'pure' lager was very nice and there was a good selection on the food menu. We had the hunters chicken which was very tasty and a friend had the beef burger which also looked and tasted great. Would highly reccomend this place!

We stopped in here around 5pm. The downstairs pub area was filled to the brim, so we trekked on to the upstairs bar/restaurant. We were immediately asked if we were planning on eating because the tables were reserved for diners only. We said we were going to order food. BIG MISTAKE!!!! My husband (who can pretty much eat anything and doesn't usually complain) said his "Hunter's chicken" was the worst dish he has ever had. The table shook when he tried to cut it (or "saw" it!). The chicken was like shoe leather. Always heard that term, and can now visualize it. Steer clear of here, even if you are starving!!!
