A truly wonderful place, I am regular despite an avoidant presence of tourists, given the place it's normal, but the waiters know how to keep their cool so we almost forget their presence, it's really extraordinary

Tuvimos la suerte de encontrar un mercado navideño en Trafalgar Square. El mercado navideño se inauguró oficialmente en Trafalgar Square por primera vez en la historia. Más de 20 puestos estaban disponibles para navegar y disfrutar, desde hermosos productos hechos a mano, como candelabros, adornos navideños, joyas y mucho más. También puede calentarse con comida festiva, desde mini panqueques y fuentes de chocolate hasta salchichas y chips de queso, o diríjase al gran bar en el centro para obtener vinos calientes, sidras y chocolates calientes. Un buen lugar para visitar y pasar el tiempo durante la temporada navideña.

Más tarde esta tarde, mi novio y yo visitamos este café para comprar una bebida. Nunca me ha sorprendido tanto la forma en que un dependiente me ha hablado. Pedí dos copas de vino tinto y él se sirvió blanco, cortésmente le recordé que pedimos tinto. Luego respondió con un abrupto "escuché blanco", exhaló ruidosamente y vertió el rojo. Solo ponía la mitad de la cantidad en las copas de vino tinto en comparación con la cantidad que ponía en las copas de vino blanco, lo cual era ridículo. Luego fuimos al baño (juntos porque tengo ansiedad, especialmente en lugares públicos), el dependiente llamó a la puerta y bruscamente nos gritó que no se nos permitía estar allí juntos. Es seguro decir que no volveremos.

The coffee and service is not so good. Location is just quick and touristy so maybe that is why the server does not care. But outdoor seating has no shade, and there is not much of it. You are better off bringing your coffee and snack from nearby Costa or Starbucks, and enjoying it on one of the benches in the square.

The location is good, being right on the square. But when I went, the coffee machine was broken (ok though, these things happen). Sadly, that was compounded by a rude member of staff who claimed I’d asked for English Breakfast Tea instead of herb tea. I hate breakfast tea, and would never have requested it, but she doubled down, insisting, and finally saying ‘well I’m not going to argue about it’.She already had. She then poured out the first tea, and served me the herb tea in exactly the same disposable cup. Tacky. If the rest of the staff are as unpleasant as this one who served me mid-afternoon on 7 May 2019, I would suggest to people to stay away. Though I’m a local, I would never return.

A convenient cafe with some outdoor seating right on Trafalgar Square.

Después de haber terminado la visita a la Galería Nacional, fue muy divertido para sentarse y tomar una copa refrescante. Nos encantó.

Este lugar no podría ser más central o más conveniente si has sido un vistazo alrededor de Trafalgar Square. Es una especie de bajo los pasos como mire la Galería Nacional detrás. No me puedo imaginar cuánto debe ser el precio! Pensé que sería muy caro y definitivamente no lo era. Una buena taza de café era más de £2, que es menor que en las tiendas de café de cadena. Había una buena variedad de sándwiches y tortas, todas igualmente razonable, aunque no lo utilizamos. Aunque era llenarnos (cuando se no? No podíamos residuos) la oportunidad a gente fuera de "Observación", en lo que es sin duda uno de los lugares mejor observar a la gente. El puzzle era por qué había sólo un puñado de clientes a pesar de la enorme cantidad de turistas en la plaza. Quizás era la de estar en el aspecto de lluvia! Recordaré que el café en la plaza para futuras visitas. Hay un cliente de campo - wc bien cuidado, que debe ser la más cercana a la Columna de Nelson.

We had a lovely cafe time at this little place in Trafalgar Square, very kind waiter and fantastic atmosphere.

Had a latte and a sausage roll. Took out a mortgage to pay for it! The latte milk was burnt and the sausage roll was anaemic and had simply been pinged in the microwave. There are many many other great cafes nearby.

Excellent location on Trafalgar Square but absolute rip off prices. £3.60 for a cup of coffee. I get we're in London but I haven't seen anywhere charge nearly as much as this place. Not worth it at all

Tucked away right in plain sight, on the Square, beneath the National Gallery. This is a quiet, warm retreat, and a perfect alternative to the more visible, more expensive options on Trafalgar Square or in the Gallery itself. The Cafe serves basic food, but the coffee is good, the sandwiches fresh and the service excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed my quick visit there yesterday. Thank you, I will be back!

Never knew this great little place was even here. Located right on Trafalgar Square. Amazed at how quiet it was. Great hot chocolate. Worth a visit

Reasonable prices and passable coffee, and we sat in the autumn sunshine watching the fountains, the pigeons and the people. What’s not to like?

Envie d'un petit encas ou d'une boisson chaude/froide au coeur de Trafalgar ? Sur une petite terrasse ou encore à l'intérieur accueilli à par la photo de Napoléon. Rien d'intéressant en soi mais un service sympa à relever. Peut-être en cas de mauvais temps pour s'abriter ?
