I met Jackie the lovely lady who runs thhe Anchor and I absolutely love her. Best pub in Bermondsey. By far.

Got dart boards. Loads of tv's with sport on. Brilliant live singers every weekend, Cocktails have arrived. Quiz every Tuesday Bingo every Thursday

Spacious pub with lots of screens and a couple of dart boards. Uninspiring drinks offerings but gets the job done.

Food not served here so canoot offer a score for that. Attended on a party night raising money for a children's charity. It was a George Michael tribute act. Great fun, I dressed up in my 80's gear with rara skirt and pink leg warmers and danced the night away, it was great fun

Large local pub with a lot of history (the whole area, "The Blue" us named after it). A good selection of beers and friendly staff. The pub was completely shuttered all over covid and I was worried that it would close forever, but it's back now under new ownership. It's clearly a good place for watching sport.

A pub doing what pubs do best, looking after the punters. A simple offering of keg beers with London Pride on for the real ale drinkers. Doombar may also be here but, not on today. Darts is a big sport here with three pub teams. Horse Racing is also popular but thankfully just on the telly! Well presented, clean and a cheerful place. Good spot for a beer (or two).

If you are not white don't go here. Barmaids are rude and racist. They didn't have a menu for beer but expected us to know the price of them. I don't know if they were the managers but the staff weren't allowing us to check the place out before ordering drinks. I wouldn't recommend this place for any event or a social gathering.

As a tourist, this was definitely a true British pub experience

Popped in on Friday afternoon as I am holidaying in London, very friendly lady behind the bar, reasonable prices,pub looks great, real pub atmosphere, well worth a visit 👍💙

Visited this pub on Tuesday. Amazing how they've gone to souch effort fir the World Cup Lady serving was very friendly and pub was very clean. Since its re-furb its looking incredible. HIGHLY RECOOMEND...PROPPER BOOZER

Since the queen vic has been taken over and the old bank is not was the blue anchor has taken their place and for the better, I was in there tonight and had a amazing night, it’s not what it was at all, it’s a proper boozer , nice clean and a good atmosphere. It’s everything what the queen vic had but better

I was hoping that I could get a reasonably priced pint here as it's Craft Union. Unfortunately for a pint and a non alcoholic small bottle it cost £6.95! So not surprisingly we only stayed for the one drink. This pub is not in the posh parts of London but is located in a pretty run down part of Bermondsey so why the high prices? It's quite a nice and spacious pub, and it's dog friendly but I can't afford to drink there.

Absolutely fantastic in here. Everyone is friendly and the entertainment was out of this world. Going back on 1st of May reallyh looking forward to that to see our friend Sly Fox. Thanks to the landlady Jackie for making us feel welcome.

Avoid this place! I’ve never been to a pub where I have felt soo unwelcome! The landlady has a face like thunder and the attitude is disgusting! However if you like them old school racist pubs, maybe this is the place for you! Shocking!

Just a fantastic pub since the new owner took over. Cosy and traditional. Great prices and staff. So many great nights in here with Karaoke and live singing. Best pub in London.

Had a good atmosphere have a couple of Jars before going down to the Den to watch Millwall play Cardiff. You may ask "but you're an Arsenal fan" true but went with family who are Millwall fans. Good day as Millwall won 2-1..

Refurbished recently. My favourite pub in Bermondsey now. Has multiple screens showing all different sports all day. I'm a big racing fan so happy to see Racing TV on. Nice pool table and darts board too. Friendly customer service and decent prices for drinks.

Lovely big pub with friendly staff. Couldn't believe it when we turned up out of the pouring rain to complimentary bar snacks and a lovely smiling staff member. Lively environment, pool table and darts, plenty of tvs for sports. Would absolutely recommend for a Sunday drink.

Fine pub, football crowd, TVs for sport, friendly staff. Could do with a bit of TLC in terms of decor. Defo a locals pub, and Millwall fans.
