Always warm and friendly. Great food at really good prices.

Went to the Bloomsbury on a Friday night still busy but able to find a table with access for a disabled person in a mobility scooter, staff as always did everything to help us get settled and proved the information on the meals available. 5 Adults with drinks and filling meals are well worth the money. You never go hungry. For a local pub that prides itself on good food and friendly staff, you can't go wrong. Not a lot of true local pubs left.

a fantastic place to eat' food was of the best quality and staff were friendly and welcoming, jane and pete are excellent hosts, our second visit and will not hesitate to go back at the earliest oppurtunity.

Visited for a family birthday lunch. We were a party of 12, mixture of ages and tastes. Something for everyone on the menu and all home cooked. Portions plentiful and value for money is excellent, especially in TW2! Family run pub with a warm atmosphere where the staff can't do enough to help. Pizzas are superb. Can't wait to return.

Lovely pub with an old school atmosphere…locals are friendly and excellent food with football shown daily. Friendly bar staff who are always ready to bring over drinks while eating. The landlord is a great chef, our T-bone steaks were fantastic and landlady…she’s hilarious!!!! Xxx

A proper local with excellent food, choice of beers and very friendly and helpful staff. A cosy, atmospheric, dog-friendly pub with a gracious and super welcoming landlady. The Sunday lunch is better than any multi-chain gastro pub. Felt very comfortable and welcome. Will definitely return.

As a family, we went out for an evening Friday meal. It was busy, with a few behind the bar and the other guys helping in the kitchen, only had to wait 10 minutes for our meals. It was worth the wait all the meals were enough for us. And the staff kepted looking after us. A looked meal and great staff.

Went here today for a Sunday roast with some friends and I am a very fussy eater, but this has got to be the best roast dinner I have eaten and d I have been to quite a few pubs. The service was lovely, the employees so friendly and caring. The roast dinner was just perfect, a choice of chicken, lamb or beef and it came with lots of veggies. What I loved about the food was that it was steaming hot just how I like my food. Nothing was too much to ask, we wanted extra gravy and some extra sauce and it was given all with a smile. This is definitely going to be my go to place for a perfect Sunday roast. Thankyou for the great service and delicious food.

Was welcomed on arrival.. With lots of places to sit and looked very cosy all round inside. Everyone was really friendly too who were locals... Excellent food and a great selection, my choices of sizzling Prawns also the Ribs with a choice of chunky chips or skinny fries was delicious l could not believe all the choices was spoilt what to choose. Great bar staff thank you all. Special Thank you to Jannie & Pete owners a wonderful 5* Pub... Great Warm Cosy place. And you won't be disappointed.. Can't wait to return with my friends.

Had the belly pork roast - abit disappointed at the small portion of meat on the bone ! Variety of veg which quickly cooled down!

Sunday Lunch. Travelling from Hounslow this morning whilst waiting for a flight, for Sunday Roast. Greeted with a warm hello at midday when they opened. Very good pint of London Pride. They only do roast on Sunday and no dessert, which was fine for us. Daughter had the beef. I started with the pork belly. Oth were really excellent, if portions and fully tasty. My pork belly was extremely well made + crackling. Potatoes amazing fluffy and crispy, heavy was obvs homemade and a compliment to the meat. Mine was so good I had a second roast, lamb this time, which was also exceptionally tasty. Highly recommended the pork belly guys. Superb experience. Genuine and friendly vibes and a feel of family. Fantastic! We had the T-bone from the specials menu and was incredible. Cooked to perfection. My wife had the skewers which were also delicious and such good value for money! Excellent food selection and the same goes for the drink!

Fabulous Roast and more. Found this place on TripAdvisor as wanted a decent roast nearby. We stayed at Whitton which was a 25 minute walk away as went to the rugby at Twickenham yesterday. It did not disappoint the food was wonderful. I had lamb, very little fat and very generous portions. My husband had chicken, so plump, fresh, juicy and fresh. Fresh veg, amazing roasties. So refreshing to be served side sauces at the same time. So often you ask for mint sauce and wait 10 minutes. Food hot and tasty. Nice clean pub, friendly staff and customers and showing footie, but option to eat elsewhere in the pub or outside as well maintained gardens. So glad I found this on TripAdvisor, it did not disappoint! Only disappointment was no puddings! Had my heart set on something with custard!

We stopped off on our way to a wedding. We were tight for time and needed a spot of lunch.The staff were incredibly friendly and cooked us some great pizzas all in time to see us off on time for the ceremony. Lovely people!

Lovely relaxed pub. Child & dog friendly. Has a big screen for sport & garden seating. Had a wonderful veggy sunday roast with the best cauliflower cheese ever. Huge portions & really good value. Everyone is really friendly & the evening pizza menu looks like it's definayely worth a try. Excellent pub for food & meet ups.

Certainly above average home cooked food! What a banquet of tapas we had! Pete is a fabulous cook, beautiful mouth watering, tantalizing flavors. The Sunday Roast dinner, is fantastic (especially the lamb) Both Jane and Pete are wonderful hosts.

Well worth considering to meet with friends on a Friday night. The bar staff were attentive and friendly. The food was good and better than average pub food, I had the pizza and it was very generous.. Price was reasonable as well. Not sure about the now popular grey matt painted walls but the staff made up for the decor. It does get very busy on Twickenham Rugby days I hear..and Harlequins big matches.

Working at the Stadium on the six nations fixtures, I stayed locally and found this excellent little pub. What a lovely find. A welcoming and cosy bar, great staff, great beer too, and the food was awesome. I would really recommend checking this place out.

Went here for the first time for a Sunday roast. Had an excellent lamb roast, and the roast tatty's were as good as my own. Fantastic value for money, friendly helpful staff with wheelchair access too. Would highly recommend :))

Been past the venue many times and today we were part of a funeral party. The pub is gorgeous inside, spacious, clean and very welcoming. The food was absolutely gorgeous and nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Great venue for a function or meet up with friends or family.

I went more than once to eat here, the place is usually welcoming. Not this Saturday. I went at 2.45 pm and I asked to have lunch. A woman told me all was fully booked. How come? The place was almost empty. My face was like as I couldn't believe it and I asked if I could eat outside and she stopped me saying NO. I understand it was 2.45 pm and probably the kitchen was going to close soon. But you, owner, should have told me so. Instead of lying and telling me that an empty pub was fully booked. Not nice.

Pre-Covid we used to pop-in occasionally on an evening to dine. The food was always very good (especially the pizzas), the drinks excellent and the staff polite. For a change we booked in for a late Sunday Lunch, we had a lovely meal a few drinks and it felt like old times again.

Busy match day for quins and can't recommend them enough class. We travelled from Bristol with pubs who cancelled our booking and had poor coms as corporate pubs, you won't get that here, 💯 needs a visit !!!

Visited This pub today Whilst On a weekend away to London from Exeter to watch the Exeter Harlequins rugby On arrival we were greeted by a member bar staff and shown to a table. Forgive me I didn’t catch there names the land load and lady from a review I read earlier today pete and Jane(hopefully :) where really friendly and welcoming We also had food there wow what can I say myself and son had the burger and my partner had a pizza i sat there and said to my partner that is probably one of the best burgers I have even had in return she said the same about here pizza (top marks to the Chief 👍) On leaving the land lady made sure she popped over to say thank you for coming and bye 10/10 from us will defo be visiting again and if your in the area defo worth visiting

One of the vital functions of a pub is to be the spot where people meet and gather. When friendships are made, when couples who were once single, become a pair by virtue of meeting in a pub, it shows that a pub is doing what it should. When the management - depressed and interfering asks questions about the patrons, inappropriate, nosey and meddling....then the pub becomes a space to be avoided. This bar is a sports bar...in shape and function managed by a couple who are clueless, miserable and toxic. The main barman is exceptional....one of the best in London who should be in charge, NOT the out of date and space pensioners best placed in an infrequently habited Guest House in an abandonned seaside town. On and on they go, unchecked, adding a wierd vibe to the space offering opinion unasked for and metering out a nasty atmospheric and the result here is that this is now Twickenham's Chav Central. Friendships have been made here.....but they will be lived out elsewhere in places of taste.

Cracking roast as always! Absolutely LOVE this pub, people are great, atmosphere is comfy and it’s decorated so well it feels like your living room! A regular go to.

Excellent food pre Twickenham Challenge Cup Final. Two Skewers was great - beef and lamb - and the flatbread was gf and df. Chicken burger was also great. Definitely worth a visit - just ask about allergens if required.

Me and a friend turned up while it was raining to take shelter at 2 in the afternoon on a Tuesday tried to open the door to go in for a few pints but was locked i saw a member of staff in side he came to the door and I asked when are you open and he replied I'm open when I want to open absolutely terrible attitude wont be going to this pub ever
