The burger wasn't very nice I'm afraid and they had no salt for the chips( come on) and noticed the meal was supposed to be with a drink,but never got offered one 🙁

This is possibly the best weather spoons I have been to. Located near old Trafford football ground the atmosphere was brilliant however I did go on Derby day. The locals were loving it ... until Man u lost . The food was amazing and cooked perfectly and the service was good. This was a very busy pub but the barman remembered our drinks order when we ordered another. Well done top rated .

The food in this place is second to none for choice and tastiness. Wetherspoons can have a bit of a reputation but my family absolutely love the food here. The choice is phenomenal and you just can't go wrong. The choice for vegans and vegetarians is really incredible. Really worth a try. V friendly, staff lovely, v welcoming to kids.

It's hard to get there on match day, but if you can't get there, it's worth visiting on another day. Every Manchester United fan should come here. A bar with an amazing atmosphere. There is a very large selection of beers and ciders on site. Prices moderate.

Very busy when we visited for the recent Foo Fighters concert at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground. The pub was packed to the rafters, yet we were served by the staff within a couple of minutes and with a pleasant smile. The beers and ciders consumed were as always top notch, likewise the food.

Was very busy when we went in before foo fighters gig.no seats left and queued to get in but was still very friendly atmosphere. We wanted finger food as we were standing and wasn't expecting them to still be serving food with it being so busy but they took our order and we were waiting 20 mins at the most (6 of us too !) Was very happy with the food and service. Very clean throughout, too 👌

A group of 4 of us were in Manchester for the day/night and wanted to watch Bath play in the Premiership final. The manager happily put the game with the sound onn the tv for us . Welcoming staff, nice food, good service. Thank you

Rude worker and useless manager when complaint made re the worker.

The food and service is terrible compared to the Castle in the Sky. The bar staff talk at the end of the bar, whilst you wait for a drink, they then short change you keeping a tip for themselves. A dirty place!

First time I've ordered a full english breakfast that doesn't come with black pudding. Had to order it at £1.30 for two pieces......

Food was good and we were served quick even though it was hammered due to the marathon..

Great pub on match day great atmosphere

Un lieu incontournable pour tout fan de Manchester United ! Je m'y suis rendu à plusieurs reprises, à différents moments de la journée : le matin pour le déjeuner, le midi pour bruncher, l'après-midi pour boire une bière, le soir pour dîner, avant et après un match de Manchester United : je n'ai jamais été déçu. Les repas sont très bons, la bière reste anglaise (gros coup de coeur sur la PUNK IPA BREWDOG), mais l'ambiance est incroyable, surtout avant et après un match. Les serveurs sont très sympas et très patients. Seul petit "point d'ombre" : le fait de devoir payer pour y entrer le jour de match. Mais ça vaut très clairement le détour. C'est littéralement MON adresse quand je vais voir un match à Old Trafford, le lieu se situant juste en face du Sir Matt Busby Way, c'est vraiment l'avantage !

Cold beans, burnt toast, deep fried black pudding, eggs that were cooked yesterday. No thanks. The place had roughly ten people in, it shouldn't be that hard to put food on a plate.

Like most Spoons, it does what it says on the tin, perfect for a cheap bite and a cheap drink, staff are friendly and efficient

Around the corner from Old Trafford, Manchester United Football Club, it's majestic! The Bishop Blaize is an ideal pub / restaurant and a Witherspoon pub for everyone, including families and disabled people, in my view. It's a well coming atmosphere with friendly staff and has a modern look with outdoor seating if required. The food is good, and prices are affordable with comfortable seating and ideal on match days for a bite before or after, I definitely recommend this place anytime but for anything specific, please do check first with management.

While walking our puppy we took shelter from a heavy downpour outside under a smoking shelter, went inside to order drinks,barman goes outside and tells my wife no dogs aloud and but she could wait outside the gated area ( in the rain) but not take a drink. There was one lad smoking who heard the conversation who said it was ridiculous. Would understand if it was a summers day and the dog was disruptive but it was bouncing down and would have been a 10 minute stay. Would recommend the bars on the quays that are more pet friendly and accommodating to fog owners.

I had a beef madras with chips and a beer for £8.80. I ordered a hot drink on the app for additional £1.50. Very good beef madras with a generous portion of chips. The beer was a festive favourite: Rocking Rudolph.

Very very nice and quiet place (including the) legend of Manchester United players and manager. I'm definitely going back again after the Christmas holidays.

Visited the Bishop blaize on way back from a night out in Salford. Had a large breakfast and must say it was one of the best weather's brekkies I've had. I've had some rough ones trust me. Bar staff were very polite even to a brummie like me ha. Definitely would pop in again when that way in the future....

Warto odwiedzić ten pub w dzień meczowy. Wejściówka kosztuje 1💷i tylko gotówką. Można wejść przed meczem i poczuć niepowtarzalną atmosferę klubową. Jeśli ktoś chce wrócić po meczu (nabijają pieczątkę)to już nie płaci wejściówki 🥰

Great pub we didn't eat but it's a spoons so you know what you get.. Great staff, cheap prices and leffe on tap. As ever the toilets (Next postcode) miles away if you need a nature break... handy location for man utd if you like them? Or City for shopping

Place was clean and tidy very busy as it was a game day. Service and staff were great. Plenty of places to sit plenty of TV's. Guinness was absolutely garbage.

Fantástico pub a las puertas de Old Trafford. Lugar ideal pre, y post partido. Buenos precios, variedad de comida y bebida. Bastante concurrido.

Went here for a bite to eat at 9.45 am to find out they don’t serve food on matchdays which is understandable due to the sheer volume of customers being in such close proximity to Old Trafford. This doesn’t justify the bouncers demanding to see a match ticket and having a cash box charging each customer an entry fee like it’s a nightclub. Clearly on the take so I’d advise anyone to go to The Trafford instead.

Been here a few times as it's always a lovely chilled atmosphere however come in today and I'm lost for words!!! Young lad (worker) running round like it's a Friday night on the park swearing and doing absolutely no work, sounds like there's a rave goin on in the kitchen, all other workers as laid back as they can be, and the glass collection area is full of dirty glasses!!! Obviously a lack of management!!!

I've eaten four meals in this pub this week....a chicken jalfrezi curry, a chicken basket and chips and two chicken wraps with accompanying soup. All four meals were well cooked and tasted fine. The orders were politely taken and the costs reasonable. Well done.

Very impressive Wetherspoons close to both Old Trafford football and cricket. You had to download the app and order online - straight forward. COVID protocol was adhered to and we had an enjoyable couple of hours sampling the Stretford ales. The pub was spotlessly clean and the staff were polite and cheerful. There was a very good food menu which we will sample next time.

Went in for a bite to eat and some drinks after the cricket, couldn’t fault the staff. Social distancing in place (not everyone wearing masks, but no biggie), ordered everything on the app, quick service, tasty food.

We visited this pub and was pleased to find that the service was a100 percent better than our local Wetherspoons, the staff were very friendly making conversation with people who were by themselves, all the staff deserve a medal 👍 well done

Lockdown over, busy ok I get that but medium rare should be a little pink not shoe leather, did anyone ask was the food ok ? No

I went here on two consecutive nights this week as working away. Staff friendly, drinks were good, food good. Only downside was a screaming child, but that is down to the parent, not the staff. Well done, hope to work in Manchester again soon.

The manager is an arrogant creature stay away he’s rude and couldn’t run a bath. The place stink like his attitude worst holiday I’ve ever been on

I have been before but cant remember Do you need to show a match ticket to get into the Bishop Blaize. I wont be meeting my friend to get ticket until very close to match kick off this weekend.
