The Bier Keller in Bracknell Forest

Went as a group to include tribute and nightclub. Food was appalling and they couldn’t get the order right as 2 ordered sweet potato but got ordinary chips. The excuse was it was the chefs first night. Drinks expensive but tribute act was ok. Went to the nightclub and I’ve never experienced a nightclub where no one was buying drinks or dancing. A truly dreadful place, don’t waste either your time or your hard earned money

I visited the bier Keller and Apres nightclub recently and had an amazing night, the staff and door men and women are brilliant, I felt so welcome and safe, I’ll definitely be going back!

Paid to see Niqi Brown (Bupsi from X Factor) and booked room with family ..she didnt turn up and had some stand in .we paid to see someone else it was joke would never go there again there was nothing said to say she was not there so many people were complaining it was a joke...very sad for a place like this people should have been offered there money back as we were in our rooms at 10 it was so bad when we paid to see see someone else.

The singer was not particularly good. The bar drinks extremely expensive. The venue was really good. The security was excellent. Plenty of them, always alert, friendly and that made you feel safe.

Awful food, overpriced larger. Not good at all. Get a taxi or just eat takeaway. If ignored, I did warn you 🤔

The food in general was tasty and relatively priced. However the beer is averagely priced for the area at 5.50 a pint but when weatherspoonshas fresher beer it's very worrying. Multiple drinks sent back tasted as the the lines aren't cleaned on a regular basis, this could be improved significantly. As for the decor, it would blend in nicely on the alps however where its located it is very bizarre.

Now we have a question about drinks here. Only one bottle of non alcoholic beer in the place.. Seriously? Then soft drinks stopped coming in tumbler size glasses and came in smaller glasses which were being used for spirits and mixers, but being charged the same. 3 drinks, one of which was a soft drink £15. Think someone is having a laugh at the customers expense.

This is actually the Pub of the Coppid Beech Hotel. The room is spacy with tables scattered over the floor and has a Large Pull down screen in case there is an sportsgame on TV. It was very noisy by and it felt cold, that atmosphere is dark and cold too. The food served is just above Pub food and OK but not special. They got a German Weizen beer on Draft what is about the only thing linking the real German Bier Keller. The places is OK for a beer in the Hotel and a quick meal but does not invite to hang around long.

Strange, themed interior old fashioned out of date but the food was really good. Staff very helpful. Did not go on a live music night, watched football on screens. Quite suprised by standard of food.

Always good service here, never had a problem with the food either. Can get busy, especially if there's a football match on TV!

Friendly staff, drinks around club prices. Not huge queues. The band were really good and got everyone up dancing.

Not a bad night. DJ good. We gave this place a wide birth previously when there was a DJ Robin something or other. He was useless. Really enjoyed our night our. Normal DJ - great and interactive with the crowd. Good songs. He spoke clearly and he wasn't a narcissist!

The food is terrible. Greasy and low quality. I ate 2 times here, and both of the times the food was awefull (we were with 3, all 3 had the same opinion). Cocktails have a very limited amount of alcohol. The Bier Keller is a perfect combination with the Coppid Beech hotel, because it is as outdated as the hotel. The place has several screens with sportsmatches on, so you can focus on the screens instead of the garbage on your plate.

Ate in this bar 3 out of my 4 nights stay. Live sport always a bonus for me. Good food and reasonably priced.

Very dated looking restaurant. An alpine ski beer hall. Probably seemed a good idea when it opened in the 80s. Now is very dated. Food is very average and again seems stuck in the 80s. Do yourself a favour and find a nice nearby country pub.

three couples away for a laugh, drink and food. great restaurant, food fantastic, drinks good and of course the live band was amazing had a great dance after dinner and before going into the night club

Awful xmas meal, very limited menu, band were pretty poor, some guests were very loud and swearing and yet the staff did nothing, very poor value for money and will never return again, avoid this place at all costs.

I will not be coming back here, its was mucky, the toilets I have never seen toilets so bad how people didnt walk out with infections from there I am surprised, it smelt, the toilets didn't flush properly, the locks on the doors were broken, when I reported them to the staff they really didnt seem interested, in the bar its self was smelly and mucky they really need to improve the hygiene in here, I will remember this place for all the wrong reasons.

Zoals meestal Is het vlees goed doorbakken... de ketchup en mayonaise zitten in verzegelde potjes dus vers. Ook de groente is er vers. Leuke entourage. Als er sport Is dan staat dat op vele schermen aan. Zeker leuker dan het restaurant boven .

Brilliant bar and restaurant. Lovely staff with a happy to please attitude. Pascal was amazing to us and made our visit a pleasant one.

The live music was very entertaining, and good quality. Very friendly bar staff, they work so hard and fast.

Nunca he estado realmente en música en vivo, pero cuando fui a la Bier Keller me quedé impresionado. La música es increíble, el ambiente es eléctrico y el servicio es genial, bajo mucha presión, pero no a gente con una sonrisa y la gracia. Nunca he visto ningún problema y la gente totalmente relajado y feliz. La pista de baile no se estrecha, pero la gente no ser molestado. Seriamente recomendado El Bier Keller a mis amigos. La comida es estupenda y conseguir un gran servicio con una sonrisa. Gracias por un tiempo chicos

Comimos aquí como una noche con colegas, estaba un poco preocupado en play First Choice, pero fair - una comida decente. . Tuve un buen bistec, preparado para mi gusto muy feliz con la elección después de todo. El hecho de que música en vivo...

Excellent service with good choice of menu. We ordered several starters to share and all were good and then we had chicken and lamb burgers served in brioche bun. We all finished our meals which proved how good the burgers were. Good value for money.

we ventured to the keller whilst staying at the hotel. Drinks are expensive and the merlot was like vinegar. Live band was excellent - bit of a cattle market and I could imagine that there could be trouble occasionally as they had a lot of security staff. Interesting people watching - not my first choice of venue for a night out but as in the hotel, it had a bar and was open late.

Was here last Friday food was plain needed mushrooms bland and cooked to a crisp ,chicken had absolutely no flavour it vegetables and new tasteless potatoes which needed seasoning best thing was the eton mess which tasted device .Waiter was very attentive didn't have to wait long for food .Won't be dining there again .Should of been eating in Rowans a restaurant .

Very dull and dimly lit - not really my thing, but lunch was served at the Ceroc wekender on one day, preferred the main dining room within the hotel.

Excellent music, good food and great company. Prices were reasonable and the staff were good fun too. Our waitress had an excellent sense of humour!

The Bier Keller forms part of this Swiss style looking hotel and is well worth a visit for both the drinks and meals.The wife and I will be returning in 2017 .

Drinks very expensive, tribute act was absolute rubbish sounded terrible should have had a giriie night at home ! Bouncer at door very rude to my friend for no reason won't be going there again !

Could not serve me tonight as long waiting list before you could even make an order. Too many people ordering food (?!), and, more than they could handle. Waiter advises the kitchen was 'overwhelmed'. Last time I did eat there had a hockey puck of a beef burger patty that was bright grey, and I am certain came from a freezer at some point and found its way into a microwave. It was a long time since it was actually fresh meat off a cow anyway.....assuming it was beef.

Food was good. we tried the Romanian stuffed peppers and the Jambalaya spicy chicken. They were good. Fresh food. They also have a kids menus that was balanced and fresh. It is a bit of an old pub in the basement of a hotel. I think I didn't like this bit. I honestly wanted to finish my food and leave. The price was higher than a pub and food was better.

I arranged a hen party at the Bier Keller for 12 girls. We sat outside drinking Prosecco while the sun went down then once the band 'Mushroom' were on stage we hit the dance floor. Tanya (head of security) could not be more welcoming and helpful along with her team. I appreciate them taking the time to make all the Audrey Hepburn's night a success.

We chose to eat at the Bier Keller as part of our girls weekend package at The Coppid Beeech hotel. This was our 4th visit and our 3rd time eating in the Bier Keller.We got a 3-course meal included in our package and I have to say the standard of food was a little disappointing. I chose pate to start and we received just 2 pogens krisprolls and a much too large slab of pate! The main course of Jambalaya was delicious, but the Eton Mess for dessert was far too sloppy and more raspberry sauce than anything else!The service however was second to none and the staff served everything hot and were attentive and professional.The tribute act in the Bier Keller that evening was Tom Jones - he was a pretty good tribute act as far as they go, and there is a great atmosphere in the Bier Keller for partying.While we do plan to return again, I'm not sure we will choose the Bier Keller for our food as the quality has definintely declined in the last few years!Otherwise, it is a hihly recommended place to visit!

This is not a keller. It's just the basement of a crap hotel in very dull Berkshie with roud disco muzak, rubbish beer and really bored staff

Bier-Keller im Pub Stil mit Holzstühlen. Gut geeignet für "Public-Viewing" während EM oder Champions League. Der Burger war gut und machte satt, ein Bier dazu und gut.

Normally an over 21 venue based at the hotel coppid beach but as mid week was able to dine with the kids. Excellent staff excellent service all round. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was also very good for "pub grub" would definitely recommend.

I've been a few times and always enjoy the atmosphere created by DJ Rascal and DJ Stumpy during their sessions - but I've seen neither for ages and the Keller is not the same without them. When are they coming back?

The Cajun Style chicken sandwich is very good. I eat a lot of chicken and it is not always good quality at a bar style restaurant. This was an exception. Very tender and a generous sized boneless breast.

Awful place in the dungeon of an awful hotel.Quick pre-prepared food, not the best service and expensive for what it is.If you want to watch sports on TV, sure it will suit, otherwise go out and find somewhere decent.

Nice bar with a couple of big screen TV's with Sky Sports. No typical german food is on the menu however the burgers are okay( tried the Keller Special) . Service is perfect and fast.

This is a bar in the basement of the Coppid Beech hotel.You'd think it would re-create a German Bier Keller but it really is more like a British pub. Erdinger was on tap but that is where the "theme" stops.I ate her as well and food was fine but quite pricey (£12 special was Fajitas - 2 wraps).

A nice surprise. Food was good with great entertainment never knew it was a soul night it was a amazing group danced all night, we had finger food which was great as we had already eaten earlier.

Decided to visit this place as I was staying at the hotel located above it. Good atmosphere and a lot of TVs/screens that show sporting activities. Ordered the chicken burger which was very nice, lime mayonnaise was a nice addition. Beer was not flat and was cold so no complaints there. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I went here for drinks after dinner at Rowan, nice option however i was hoping to grab some desert but sadly despite notices to the contrary the kitchen had closed... Good fun though with good band - but a shame about the food and the venue needs a bit of work and update .

Didn't give great confidence that they actually knew what glutten free was. Quite expensive and a relatively small menu. Not what you would expect in a 4* hotel.

We have stayed there on a few occasion and had a Brillant time We've eaten in the beer Keller both time and was lovely...we also went into the night club which was great fun... The rooms wer fabulous, very spacious and well stocked

The place is in the cellar of he Coppid Beech Hotel. Lighting is low which hides the poor quality of the tables and chairs. Not a major problem. Choice of food is very limited and what there is is very poor quality. There were 3 of us eating and we all left food on our plates. The pizza is particularly poor. Prices are high for 3 beers ( sorry Biers) and 3 main courses cost £46 ($ 70). it took an age to appear and a lot of what we got was left on the plates. At no time did the waiter ask how the meal was and when it came time to clear the table. No questions were asked. I cannot believe there are better places to eat in the area!

Had the first evening meal here,service was great just a bit over priced for what you got.Live band which were very good.

I never eat in hotels because they almost always serve overpriced rubbish.Well at least this time it was marginally cheaper than usual.Staff and service were actually faultless and the beer was decent too, but the food was enough to give you an instant coronary. Never mind daily intake I must have had a month's worth of fat in one sitting.But I arrived late and Bracknell is a food desert so I had little choice. Hotel is fine in general though I will be staying again but maybe I'll pack a Pot Noodle next time

Visited the Keller as a couple, as it's very local.Service was not the greatest: ordered starters, the waiter struggled with his understanding and communication. He waiter struggled when taking the orders and couldn't answer basic questions about simple things like the size of the glass of wine. Cheese nachos not available, chilli nachos are. Ordered those, no not available. Large menu on the wall, not in use. Told that everything else on the menu was available, so ordered fondue. Ordered mains at the same time.Mains came, no sign of the fondue starter. Apparently not available as they have no cheese... No one had told us this. Vegetarian lentil burger was bland and pretty tasteless, beef burger was ok. Desserts were ordered, and arrived eventually, clearly mass packed cardboard cake..quite disappointing.Getting the bill correct was a whole other challenge... Which resulted in the manager coming out, the issue was not resolved, but at that point we just wanted to leave, so paid and will be contacting the hotel directly regarding the issues.Needless to say we will not return to the Keller.

restaurant is downstairs in the hotel, converted basement making good use of the space - obviously used as a venue for live bands during the weekend. Food was good - starter of nachos was a portion easily big enough for two - main meal of a deluxe burger was nice, but in no way deluxe - pretty much standard fare. value for money though for what you paid - ideal if your after a quick meal while staying at the hotel - not somewhere you specifically go for food

During my stay at the hotel I had once dinner in the Bier Keller. I ordered a burger and a beer. Both was served quite fast. The burger and the fries were good and the beer cool. So nothing to complain about the food. But it was really noisy and difficult to have a conversation.

Its an Ersatz pub in the basement of a hotel, but they have a good selection of beer and the burgers are good and reasonably priced

A bit wierd thing to go a bier keller in uk but that is a theme in this hotel. Place itself is indeed downstairs of a hotel. It has seen it best days but food was ok. Nachos were not anything special but traditional fish&chips was actually pretty good. Also thanks to the staff for a good and kind service.

Ate here 2x while staying at the hotel. Had a nice scallop mac and cheese appetizer and a burger one night (burger bun was really bad...bland, tasteless, dry). Had nachos and a chicken/ham/leek pie the other. Both ok. Wait staff was very attentive, efficient, and welcoming

Quiet during the evening mid-week. Good service. Food was great both nights. Big portions. Staff friendly.

Booked a meal too which was lovely and good value for three courses. Bar was a bit slow but then it was packed. Only moan is the speakers are ramped up far too load, making the base vibrate and distort the sound. Needs tuning a bit. You cant move once the place is packed and the dance floor is very small. Great night out though with very good entertainment.

There was a band there (friday) the band was ok but cant say same about the DJ its too loud spoils it in there as you cant even hear yourself talking in there..just a little bit down please..we where there for a hen night we couldnt even hear each other it was that loud prefer the club as at least we can talk in there and hear each other..

The band was really good. Plenty of door staff. You can get food in there, but we had already eaten. Very good venue for parties as well

Unfortunately this place reflects everywhere else in the hotel. Dingy, tired and worn, the bar needs a massive refit to bring customers back. I'm not sure why the owners won't re-invest in this lovely building but they'll go bust soon if they don't sort it out. I almost felt for the staff having to work here.

Went here for a drink and to watch the world cup match finals. Everything was ordinary but nothing is bad at all. If you are staying in the Coppid Beech and you wanted a drink with some live sports matches. This place should do the trick. Loads of space to accommodate large groups.

I've been here for Sunday lunch before but not for the last couple of years. Went today and oh dear has it gone down hill. Perhaps I should have checked Tripadvisor first because I notice this supposed 4 star hotel comes below 2 Premier Inns and a Travelodge!Ok, so today, this 4 star hotel served peas and carrots, thats it! That is not the veg I would expect from a 4 star hotel! To go with this were flaccid roast potatoes and a mean serving of gravy :-(Things didn't improve with the desert course either. I will not be going back and suggest you try elsewhere too.....
