I love this restaurant/pub. You have the choice of having a light lunch which you can order at the bar or, my preferred option, sitting down in the lovely dining room which has waiter service and great views of Kings Cross station from the windows. Also, there is no music which for me is a big bonus - I could hear everything my friend said! The double or triple glazing is extremely effective because you can’t hear the noise around Kings Cross station. In short, you could be sitting in a country pub, not in the middle of London town. The food is very good as is the wine list. My one suggestion is that they make the vegetarian and vegan options more imaginative (eg. use beans and pulses).

I had a crazy-important meeting with 12 clients whom I had never met in person. Bobby and Mike worked to make it perfect. The reserved the table, handled all the service, put it all onto one tab (which they don’t do on Sunday Roast) - all of which made the experience flawless, fun, and focused for me and my guests. Thank you both so much for coordinating and executing my Aug 4th London Meet Up so special.

We have been coming here as a family for over 25 years, before we had our son and after, he's now 20. I travelled solo to London today and sent a photo of my Aperol Sprotz to my husband and son saying guess where I am! They both said it would be rude, as a Kelly, to pass by without dropping in. For a train station pub you would think it's just a stop off but we have so many memories. My son watching the eurostar, us introducing our son to a safe space in London where you can relax and always have the best service. My husband and son met up with a group of friends before the Championship playoffs and had the best time. I met my sister during the covid restrictions and the staff could not have done more to accommodate us in torrential rain, hiding us under big heated umbrellas. And today. Knowing that I can drop in and have the best Aperol Spritz in the sunshine. It always feels like greeting an old friend, comforting and warm. Go now. I could sit there all day.

Surprised by good Ales at right temperature. Food portion correct. A good place while waiting...

What a superb venue for lunch. Three of us met here on a weekday lunchtime. We had attended Leicester University fifty years ago and had recently been in contact for the first time since then. The setting is stunning, designed in the 1880s by George Gilbert Scott, it is an iconic, listed, red brick building and the interiors are no less impressive. The restaurant takes full advantage of its history and retains much of the original features. The menu is good, the food delicious and the service impeccable. You don’t need to be a railway enthusiast or even a passenger to enjoy this venue. A must see place -a beer, wine or meal - any excuse but do go!

Had the beef Sunday roast but sorry to say was not impressed. Beef was massively thick cut which it shouldn't be, very fatty and grissly. Carrots were also absolutely huge, very thick cut and big, which wasn't altogether pleasant. Only 3 very small potatoes and small amount of greens! For £22, not very impressive. Sorry

This is the fourth time we have had a reunion of classmates from from 50 years ago on the Grand Terrace. It is a great location for people coming from any part of the country and even from abroad.

Good service. Meals are basic pub grub, but very acceptable, and the prices are surprisingly low for London. Very convenient location for those travelling from around the city and from out of town.

Stopped off to grab a bite before catching the train home and couldn't have found a nicer place. Lovely decor, great food and at reasonable prices. Service was good and really nice friendly people. Would certainly visit again and recommend.

I dined here last night with 2 friends. I go a lot as food fabulous and staff great. Siobhan was brilliant last night and nothing was too much for her. She was excellent! We'll certainly go back. The dining room just lovely.

The staff were lovely, especially Eleanor who even organised a great table outside for some pre dinner drinks. Excellent food and good menu choice. We’ll definitely do it again!

Two Haddock suppers, with mushy peas. All washed down with some real ales, hit the spot. The fish had a light, crispy batter, that was excellent. Cannot fault the meal or drinks. Quick & friendly service from the staff too. And of it was not for Sir John Betjeman, none of this pub experience and the beautiful train terminus would exist. Chapeau/Hats off to him.

Meal was lovely but apart from the chap behind the bar who was helpful and actually spoke the waiting staff were the most miserable bunch we've ever encountered. I was with my son who runs a restaurant and he said if any of his staff had served their customers like we were served he'd tell them to go back and do it again. The girl who gave us our cutlery didn't even look at us, she just dropped the cutlery on the table while looking the other way. The man who brought our food didnt say a word and again nothing when I said thank you when he cleared the plates. I then fell off the step as our table was up on a ledged area and not one member of staff came to ask if I was ok, not even when I walked past the bar limping. I went right over hitting the wall, even other customers gasped but nothing from the staff. I've hurt my knee and both arms yet not one single member of staff showed any concern. Hadn't even had any alcohol! Good food let down by awful and rude staff.

Was there a couple of days ago and the staff was very friendly. Great food and atmosphere. Shout out to Dhruv, I don’t know how he has so much energy. Poured us a great pint.

I have been to Betjeman Arms, quite a few times with my friends to have drinks. There cocktails and food are amazing. one of the bartender, Vibhor, who served us an amazing old fashioned. I big shoot out to the kitchen staff. Thank you for making my experience unforgettable.

I recently visited Betjeman Arms and had an espresso martini made by one of the bartenders, Vibhor. The experience was amazing. The martini was superbly crafted. If you appreciate expertly made drinks, ask for Vibhor. Highly recommended!

I want to give a special shoutout to Ankita for making the dining experience truly memorable. Her attentiveness and friendly demeanour enhanced the meal and made me feel valued guest. Also, the food here is absolutely delicious! Kudos to the chef as well! Every dish i tried was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. Visited this place for the first time today, while I was waiting to catch a train. I was served by Bobby who was super friendly and helpful! I ordered a selection of food off the ‘while you wait’ bit of the menu which were all delicious. Will visit again :)

Popped in whilst waiting for a train. Good selection of beers including local breweries, great atmosphere, had some nibbles with our drinks which came out really quick from the kitchen - would highly recommend the chips! Shout out the manager Bobby for being super friendly and welcoming Will visit again next time I’m passing through the station!🍻

Great pub, had a roast dinner here on Sunday. Food was excellent as was the service. Eleanor served us, she was polite, efficient and helpful. Will most definitely return!!!

Great pub usually but let me down on Saturday. I ordered the full English which arrived with no bacon and only a single hash brown when the menu states "browns", plural, more than one. The bar could always use one extra server too.

Had a working lunch with three colleagues on Friday and thoroughly enjoyed my sirloin steak and triple-cooked chips. We were also able to spend several hours working thanks to the plentiful sockets under the tables. Perfect for the business project we worked on. And the coffee was excellent too.

We were served by Ankita, she was super lovely quick service asked if our food was ok.. made sure we had drinks over all great service.

The vegetables were wonderful! I really enjoyed them. The roast beef was like leather.the service was unbelievably slow and waitress cut me off 3 times assuming I was ordering something I wasn’t. The tomato and mozzarella starter just was not nice with tasteless bog standard tomatoes - a poor advert for nutbourne tomatoes

Busy pub near St Pancras. Service was very slow. Tables were not very clean. It was so overpriced. £40 for a bottle of wine! The food was OK but nothing spectacular. I guess they are aiming at the tourists headed for Eurostar so don't really care about cleanliness or service. Or prices

The bar feels a little like a small town, old man's pub - sofas so well worn you can slouch, sticky tables etc. I enjoy that though. There are some other rooms beyond the main bar that are more formal and look a nice place to have dinner. The outside beer garden (within the station) is a nice addition. Friendly service.

Been to St Pancras a lot never realised this was on the platform till seeing it mentioned somewhere. Nice fixtures and fittings staff very rude. Card Machine just put Infront of you no indication from them how much to pay but then this is touristy London. Go for the building and fit out not the rude service.

Great place to rest and had a lovely lunch, prior to boarding Eurostar. Booked easily online. Service was good. Food and drinks were delicious. Good facilities, clean. Relaxed atmosphere.

Popped in for the first time yesterday. Stunning interior that makes up some different areas of the pub which is ideal if you want to find a quiet spot out of the way or if you prefer to be in amongst the crowds then you can stick to the main bar area. Outside seating at the front and also overlooking some of the platforms. Good drink choices with a friendly service and a good ambiance. Will definitely use this pub again in future.

The pub is located right within st pancras station. I stopped by in between trains on route to Heathrow, building in an extra hour for my trip so I could enjoy a proper Sunday roast before I left England.. It was definitely worth the stop.

An unfriendly pub with inflated prices (almost £10 for a single house g&t seems absurd). The view of the station is lovely, though, hence the 3 stars.

Popped in for breakfast as perfect location before our trip on Eurostar. We were disappointed with the scrambled eggs on toast, which were cold. However the cooked breakfast and poached eggs were enjoyed. Coffee was good too. We've been for dinner before, so would definitely return👍

We were a party of 16. Went for cocktails and prebooked lunch before a theatre trip. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had food promptly as we had limited time. Lovely food at reasonable prices for London, a variety of food was ordered and everyone enjoyed it. Great bar and restaurant. Would definitely go again and recommend.

Dined here on Saturday 6th April 24. Very frustrating when you get given a menu and you choose your starter and main course give your order and off the server goes to put through the order, for them to return 8 mins later, to tell you that your starter is not available. You chose another. Then returns in another 3 minutes to tell you that the special that is advertised on a board in the restaurant is not available, you order something else (same as other person you are dining with). Server returns 5 minutes later to let you know that you can have the chicken pie you have both ordered, but there is no gravy to go with it, 'is that okay'? No it wasn't, so now on 3rd mains order. Food arrives and is delicious - no complaints about the food standard. Comes to dessert time, we order, server returns to let us know that the chocolate dessert we have ordered is not available!!!! I am shocked that such a large establishment would be so lacking in its menu choice (and it is not an extensive menu by any means), how do you run out of everything? Please servers, find out what is no longer available on the menu before you take the order and let the customer know this as soon as you hand them the menu. That way you avoid disappointed customers.

This is a really nice pub, clean and well laid out, with friendly staff. I had a nice couple of pints of Beavertown neck oil(£7.40) Highly recommended.

Filthy spot. Outdoor seating area could use some love. I don’t know why they’re listed as a place you can hotdesk for remote workers as it isn’t quiet enough. Ridiculously expensive for just a bottle of water.

Huge thank you to the team at Betjeman Arms; I booked the Study for a 40th Birthday dinner with close friends and the whole evening was fantastic; Anna was an absolute star; so welcoming and helpful, checking to make sure we had everything we needed throughout. The food was delicious and generously portioned; my game pie main was a delight, but everyone had lovely comments about their meals too! Nice wine selection, varied menu with something for everyone and well executed and flavoursome. The Study was the ideal size for our group of 8, allowing for everyone to chat comfortably away from the buzz of the main bar. Would highly recommend, whether for a more casual meal or hiring a room for a special occasion.

Amazing place with amazing staff, there was a supervisor named manjit, assisted me with my drinks and opened the door and gave an amazing espresso martini as well, definitely worth the money.

Food was OK, but what l the wine they had was not great. So, we won't go back as there are better places at Saint Pancras Station.

As an autistic person I find restaurants a rather daunting place due to the noise but here there are different area to sit in and found one that was quiet. The food was fab and Ankita (the server) was very welcoming

As station pubs go, its not the worst and the building itself is great. Better in summer as in colder months it feels cold inside. Service can be OK. Or it can be poor - bit luck of the draw depending on how busy it gets. Main issue we had was ordering a cocktail and then not getting it. Had to go back to the bar and they were merrily serving new customers rather than completing our order which was poor.

Lovely dining room overlooking front of Kings Cross (think it might have been one of the original toilets by the tiles!). Drinks good (Harvey’s bitter especially recommended), food very tasty - we had the Sunday roasts including the veggie wellington. Unfortunately one of the meals came 10 minutes later than the other three for some unknown reason. Otherwise the service was very good.

A really nice pub near the station but somehow hidden. Been here twice, one time just to have a pint and one time to eat dinner. The pint was draft and nice, especially with the calm atmosphere. The food though was excellent, I took a fish and chips and it really was gastronomic with all the sauces on the side. I recommend this place a lot.

One if my FAVOURITE pubs in London. Normally go with husband but met two old work colleagues. We booked to eat in restaurant but got a bit side tracked chatting at our table in the pub part. It was a big football and rugby weekend in London so later int he afternoon it got a bit loud so I asked if we could move into the restaurant area with our drinks which was not a problem at all and we were able to sit there until we were ready to leave and before the table was booked for 5pm. The food was great, although my friend had one of the fish dishes which she said was really small for the price but said it was really tasty. Would have loved to have sat out on the terrace overlooking the Eurostar arrival/departure platforms but a bit chilly. We will be back in the Spring/Summer (or both!) as it's an ideal location for all of us to meet. Thank you! x

Top drawer service service for breakfast today. Item was missed from our full English but was so tasty we barely noticed. A member of staff then came over, mortified, and pointed out they’d realised their mistake, and would we like a plate of sausages! Of course we said yes. And I swear they were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Staff were great about it, food was delicious, small error made good. All you can ask for. Are and drank here many time on way through St P and will continue to do so.

A great place to have a drink while waiting for your train. I’ve done this many times. The beer is kept well, and there are snacks available such a scotch egg or sausage roll!

We visited for our book club. Food was always good, but new chef and menu have taken it to the next level. Well served by the cheerful and attentive Lydia. Thoroughly recommend. Shardul equally good on a second visit.

I did the cowork deal for £20 with unlimited tea and coffee and a main from the lunch menu! Very good deal. Comfortable space with plug ports and free wifi. The service is impeccable and the staff are very kind, particularly a big shoutout to Ankita who was very attentive and make sure I was comfortable and well looked after.

Popped in to meet a friend for a drink and ended up staying for a few! Great atmosphere and team all friendly, plus beautiful inside. Will be back!
