The Berwick in Stoke-on-Trent

Lovely pub, landlord very friendly, excellent staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Reasonable priced drinks. Love this place and always made to feel welcome by both staff and customers. X

Pop nos atendieran en apto para unas copas , normalmente puertas tempranas. El personal siempre fue muy amable, la ale está bien y los precios son razonables. Danny parece tener el lugar en orden y salvado de un "supermercado" el destino.

Called in for a "cheap" Sunday Roast and for £11 for 2 was great value , healthy portion with a generous portion of meat on both .Definitely be calling again.

I use the Berwick quite often, the decor is fab, the chef does the most amazing food, the staff are great...... But I also like to go around Burslem with my husband at weekends, we used the saggar makers and came across the most rude, unprofessional bar maid, which I had complained about because she was eating donner meat with her fingers and poured my husband a pint with her fingers around the rim of the glass, without washing her hands, which I told her about the answer was "so", there was a good crowd in there but everybody seemed to not like this girl because of the drama attitude she had, unfortunately for the Berwick she is now working there.. Big mistake you WILL loose a lot of customers!! We usually go the Berwick for Sunday lunch with family, we just hope we don't drop on her shift or we will stop, a lot of people who are already customers of the Berwick enjoy the atmosphere and say they won't bother if they get that attitude!

Ir un domingo cena casi cada semana. No me puedo quejar la comida o el servicio. Una gran relación calidad-precio. X

went to the berwick last night with my friend and what can i say the pub looked amazing a lot different since the last time i went in there which was somewhat 20 years ago the staff were very friendly infact couldnt do enough for us we both had meals there and i must say very reasonable priced the lasagne was out of this world and my friend said her pie was delisious one thing that stood out too us both was that you could tell everything was home made i take my hat of too the chef and the person who bought the pub and transformed it would definiatly recomend

i went to shauns kitchen at the berwick in sneyd green on sunday with my husband and 4 children me and my husband both had lamb which was cooked to perfection with all the trimmings you would expect on your sunday lunch they went the extra mile for us and it only cost £4.95 each thats on a sunday when everywhere else is a lot more expensive will defo visit more often now
