The food is very good here. Always fresh and tasty. The deserts are my favourite here. All home made. Have to book in advance as it is very busy. Very old pub with it's own parking for about 10 vehicles in a country setting.

Sunday lunch with friends. Nice small room, beams, cosy. Waiter excellent, helpful, polite, efficient. Usual Sunday roasts on the menu and other interesting choices. Food was excellent, well cooked and tasty. Delicious desserts. We all had something different to as on the menu but we were told it was no trouble. Only downside was that There was a large party also in the room and as the drinks flowed the celebrators got louder and louder. All in all very pleased, good prices too. Will definitely go again.

My wife and I have just re-visited The Bell for dinner. A lovely, very old classic English country pub which continues to serve very pleasant food at reasonable prices. They have an extensive menu and a fine selection of wines to choose from. The service is pleasant, efficient and very friendly, we will return for sure!

Beautiful breakfast, friendly staff and a lovely garden. Really good road dinner also sitting by the fireplace. Everyone who works here is friendly, attentive and makes me feel at home. A++++

144 Maldon High StreetMe and my sisters came here for afternoon tea and it was one of the best I’ve experienced. There was so much food we had to take some home with us! The waffles were absolutely amazing, I haven’t stopped thinking about them since we left so I will definitely be returning! Great value for money and staff nice too. I would definitely recommend! :)

The Queen Victoria, The Street, Woodham WalterJust back from an excellent lunch after a lovely 6 mile walk starting and ending at The Queen Vic. Wonderful hospitality and the food was really good - very generous portions too.

38, High StA perfect stop off for all kinds of reasons, for a tea, coffee and cake break or a lunch or brunch munch… Wide selection of Sarnies to Salads, Panini’s to Pies, baguettes to Baked spuds…all served in warm inviting surroundings and friendly staff… Their main day menu with so many tempting choices or their intriguing monthly ‘Special's Menu’ , often with choices from around the globe… My ‘GoTo’ is often the ‘Breakfast’ Panini with sweet potato fries , if not tempted by their latest ’ Special’…! Always busy, always tasty. Every day of the week…!
