We past by the Bell on a walk and decided to have breakfast. Amazing value and the staff were super friendly. Definitely worth going there.

The Bell had a bit of a 'reputation', if you get my drift. Well that has all changed. It's now turned into a very welcoming, well run and good value establishment. The bar snacks are excellent - the staff really friendly - the beer is well kept - Covid precautions are more than adequate - the beer garden is quiet and secluded. Overall, first rate. We live a couple of miles from the Bell Inn and we regularly walk there for 'lunch and a pint', passing several other pubs on the way. It's well worth the trek!

Had a great relaxing sunny Tuesday lunchtime food and drinks in the garden of The Bell Pub in Bedmond which is now under new management. Very warm welcome and informative. Dogs on leads are welcomed and water for them is available, a must after a long walk in the local countryside. Food was fabulous, generous portions and great value for money. Will certainly be going back many more times, thoroughly recommend a visit, you won’t be disappointed. Glad to call you our local pub.

This pub has a newish proprietor and is transforming itself back into an excellent local pub. The lunch of sandwiches was great - proper deep sandwiches on tasty granary bread plus all the trimmings.... We will defintiely go back as we are locals and look forward to trying other meals there.

On a Bank Holiday ramble in our local area, we passed the Bell Inn and decided to treat ourselves to pint and snack having previously read that they do lunches. I think management has changed. It took a while to find which door to enter by, 2 were locked and dirty. At first we did not try the side door as it had large cobwebs between the dusty door (hinge side) and wall and did not look used - that should have warned us, and being Bank Holiday lunchtime, there were only 2 customers there. After disturbing the spiders to enter, the unsmiling lady at the bar could not have been more unwelcoming, blankly said they don't do any food whatsoever, and offered a bag of crisps. As nothing was inviting about staying in the bar we took our drinks into the 'Beer Garden'. So depressing, even the chicken in the abandoned chicken run had turned into grey stone, stone urns and garden ornaments heaped up to one side, one solitary flower and overgrown hedges. We finished our drink quickly and left before depression set in. As we walked away, thoughts came to mind: did the bar lady calcify the chicken with a Medusa look; the Bell Inn, for whom the bell tolls, the last customer?; we must remember not to come here again; how does a pub survive these days without serving any food. Pub is operated by PubMaster, come on PubMaster, get your act together !!! I hear it was once a good pub to go to.

Must admit the visit didn’t start well. The car park is scruffy with bins, rubbish and sundry old equipment piled up and it doesn’t create a good first impression. Inside the welcome was warm and friendly but the chairs at the table we were shown to were scruffy and very stained. My first beer (London Pride) was sour, probably the end of the barrel, but was changed when I pointed it out and The Scarecrow much better. Not good so far. However, the staff were great and the food very good. Fish and chips was plentiful and beautifully cooked. The Hoisin Belly Pork something different and really tasty. Overall we all enjoyed our visit and would go again.

After many years of great food and service, we were shocked and horrified by the appalling lack of customer service following a terrible JustEat experience..... Despite knowing, and being known by this business for countless years, I am speechless. As it stands they will get no more custom from us, and we will share our awful experience with all our friends....

Great pub just off the Common - nice warm interior and a good place to watch the rugby. Great selection of beers and friendly staff. Nice beer garden too.
