We've been coming here all summer, and honestly, it's the excellent service that keeps us coming back! The shisha, the food, and the friendly staff are all top-notch. Aru always handle any situation, even when the place is packed) thanks 🙏🏻

I visited on a Sunday morning with my mum and sister around 11am, and luckily we managed to get a nice table outside without having a reservation. We ordered a cappuccino, the rose latte, and the pink vanilla iced latte - as well as the strawberries and cream cake, the lemon and rose cake and the avocado and feta on toast - this totalled £60!!! The cappuccino was average, the rose latte was nice, but unfortunately the pink vanilla iced latte was very disappointing. There was no coffee in this "latte", it was just pink milk. I kindly asked the waiter if its possible to change the drink for something else as it was just pure milk and I couldn't drink it - and he said he must check with his manager, who said no they cannot change it and I will still be charged for the latte which I did not drink. Very disappointed in this, as the latte was not exactly cheap at £7. The strawberries and cream cake was nice, the avocado on toast was average - although the avocados were overripe and a slightly brown in colour. The lemon and rose cake was nothing special - slightly dry and had very thick icing. Overall, I was not wowed at all. Will not be returning. The staff were very friendly though, and very apologetic regarding the latte situation - seems like the problem lies with the management. For the prices they are charging, I expected better.

My daughter and I have been following Peggy Porschen on instagram for several years and were delighted to finally have the opportunity to go visit while in London last week. We had afternoon tea and everything was absolutely beautiful and delicious. There was not a single thing served that we didn’t love. It was the perfect culmination of our trip.

I wanted to eat in, for an afternoon tea, but it was sweltering in there, no fans or air conditioning. I also saw some gum on the floor all ground in and dirty, it’s not the pretty aesthetic that this shop is all about. It was just lack of attention to detail. The cakes are horribly overpriced but they are very very good. It’s not a place I would go to often as £8 for a slice of cake is very hefty and the cake slices are not generous. Great flavours and it looks pretty from the outside.

An absolute gem of a place. We had a reservation for a gluten-free and a regular afternoon tea - they were ready for our accommodations when we came and so kind throughout the experience. It was such a leisurely and lovely time, and the tea and food all were DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! Make a reservation in advance for a special experience.

Tiny but adorable place. The coffee was good and the cupcakes we ordered were delicious. I chose Summer Berry Blast - it was so good I could eat it every day. Interior design - on brand, the staff were all very friendly and polite.

Used to be my favourite cake shop but the cakes have been a hit or a miss lately. They’re more focused on being an Instagram place than providing a good quality product which is a shame as it used to be very good when it first opened.

This was absolute gem of a place. Wonderful service, the decor is beautiful. Our cakes were just heavenly so fresh tasty. Highly recommended if you visiting. I can't wait to visit again when I'm in London.

Took my 3 teens (2 girls and a boy) for morning tea and had a great time. The service and food were good and the presentation was fantastic! Everything was really lovely. We asked for some modifications due to preferences (picky eaters, not allergies or restrictions) and they were very happy to comply. We had a reservation and a arrived a bit early - didn't have to wait and never felt rushed. Overall, a really lovely morning.

I really enjoyed the service, exceptional and the most important thing for me was to be photographed freely and I was not restricted, also the desserts were outstanding.

The cafe is very cute but seating right next to the counter and way to the toilets made our experience rather restless. For the price of the afternoon tea I would have expected a bit more refined cakes. Scones were fabulous, though!

I really enjoyed my visit to Peggy Porschen in Belgravia. The typically English atmosphere is very charming, but be careful, all this comes at a price. The waiter noticed we were from France and made the effort to wish us happy birthday in French, which was very thoughtful.

This place is overrated and underwhelming. We paid £59 for a couple of half sandwiches, 2 scones and a cupcake (pls see the photo attached). The server refused to sell us a slice of their strawberry cake but they did with other customers. They even gave us the bill while we’re still having our tea. It feels like we rushed to pay and go. It was an experience but I wouldn’t recommend.

Such a beautiful place, I was made to feel valued and comfortable. Even received a birthday card from Peggy, what a nice touch.

Sadly our experience was not great. There were 5 of us and granted, we hadn’t made a reservation, so there were no tables available. We were told that we had to have our coffee and cake take away - again fine. We ordered 5 coffees ( disappointed), 5 cakes and a dozen macarons. As we were waiting for our order to be ready a table that sat 5 become available- now this is where I will never recommend this place to anyone. I asked the waiter clearing the tables if our family of 5 could sit there - he agreed but from behind the coffee machine which I can only presume was the manager yelled “no, you can’t sit there, you ordered take away”. After explaining to him again that we were forced take-away due to this being the only option available at the time but now the situation is different- he basically throw our items at us and we were told to leave. So we stood outside the shop on the footpath trying to eat our cake and drinking the very, very below par coffee. Unfortunately Peggy Porschens is now memorable for all the wrong reasons.

What an amazing little gem! We had an afternoon tea:a classic one and a vegan one. The food was tasty and beautifully presented. We were made feel very welcome and not rushed to vacate the table. The service was very professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

I tried the famous Chocolat Heaven muffin and it was very good! The dough was flavorful and moist, and the topping, although a little too sweet for my taste, was also good. However, the service left something to be desired. I was served coldly by a young man with glasses, who seemed to treat all customers with disregard. The environment was exactly as in the photos: everything was very clean and organized.

Cheap-looking, kitsch restaurant without any style, similar to a fast food chain. Food was cold and tasteless. The main thing is pink.

Exceptional brunch :) both of us agreed it’s the best we’ve had anywhere in London. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to revisit.

Second time I’ve ordered a large occasion cake for my daughter’s birthday from here. Except she’s having a joint party and they forgot to include the second name. They don’t make a record of this for proof and neither did they help me rectify the problem. They charged me for an extra plaque! Def won’t be ordering anymore cakes from here. They’ve closed their Chelsea branch. Goes to show….prob not doing as well as they want you to think. Drinks from here also low standard for the prices they charge.

We chose an empty table for 4, ordered than the Italian waitress came and asked us to move so she can seat 4 people, there was no signs letting customers know that we can’t sit there and we were half way through our order when asked to move!! VERY RUDE !!!

Very warm place, super pleasant atmosphere for a drink, brunch or even lunch!! The staff is super welcoming and attentive.. a very absolutely magnificent place not to be overlooked if you are passing through London.

I treated my mom here for an early Mother’s Day afternoon tea and it was so wonderful. We got to try all of the classic sandwiches, scones, and treats of a traditional tea all gluten free and they were delicious. The staff was very friendly and when we couldn’t decide between coffee or tea as part of the set menu, they let us have both at no extra cost.

We booked Afternoon Tea as a birthday treat and it was certainly that. We were warmly welcomed and it was just delightful, such a pretty setting. The food was delicious and plentiful, just beautiful and it was a special afternoon that was thoroughly enjoyable,thanks.

Nice place for brunch & pretty pictures. The food was good but not out of this world. The Avocado Benedict was quite tasty, but the Chai was a bit dull compared to others I’ve had in London. Would recommend for anyone looking for an Instagram-able brunch spot while staying in London.

I ordered two teas, they gave me two CREAM TEA. I am Italian and arguing in English was too complicated for me, so I let it go. But they knew very well that I had NOT ordered them. Also because what I wanted I had indicated right on the menu. I heard perfectly pronounced "chickens" from you. But you are false and dishonest. Have a good life.

Brought our daughter and 12 year old niece there for brunch. Really cute place with tasty food and delicious teas and coffees. The presentation of food is great, was reluctant to eat because it was so beautifully put together. Highly recommend for an affordable brunch with wonderful ambience.

If you like the color pink and everything related to exaggeration and extravagance, this is your place without a doubt. It is a princess story cafe where you drink coffee or tea with your pinky raised. It's true, everything is very good. The lemon cake is highly recommended and the coffees too. They have typical London prices. Remember to leave a tip

We visited the insta famous Peggy Porschen for a sweet treat and whilst the venue frontage is lovely and my cupcake was scrumptious I didn’t enjoy my husbands cake selection which had a really overpowering flavour of elderflower. The choice was difficult with so many tempting options and so we sought recommendations from staff. All of the cakes looked stunning in the cabinet but with the hype so elevated I’m not sure it delivered

The environment is very nice, the service is excellent, the choice of tea is good and the pastry shop is also good. The only flaw is the price, I find it excessive.

Very disappointed...I booked online the table for 2 guests and in the policy is writing that not dogs allowed inside the caffe but when I arrived was sitting customer with dog. The building was very noise due to construction outside. The online information show one price for morning tea and I paid double for all menu.... Not at all at the standards expected for the money you pay.

Very rewarding experience!! In our case we booked for a snack and the truth is that everything was phenomenal, the coffee with its cream, the tea at its point with its traditional flavor, the perfect cakes and pastries, the staff very friendly and attentive, the price in line with the Belgravia area I can't say anything negative, I don't understand some one-star reviews, it's obvious that they don't know how to value the work or the dedication that the whole thing entails, congratulations to Peggy Porschen for making those bites of real pleasure. Amazing and aesthetic. What a lovely cafe, with a great selection of cakes, bakeries and brunches. The staff are amazing and make sure to cater to all needs. You feel relaxed and you know you're in good hands! The staff make sure to check up on you and ask for anything and even when I ordered a cake, they gave me water without me even asking. Defo will be coming back, thank you team💕💕

AVOID ! I couldn’t be more disappointed with this place - I ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday and when I went to pick it up they said the ordered wasn’t there! The lady I spoke to for the custom cake said she was sorry she forgot and then was unwell so couldn’t pick up my emails. They did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation except tell me they hope I’d shop with them again! I was so upset and had to buy a ready made cake from there as I had guests coming and didn’t have time to shop around and they didn’t even bother offering me a discount. Having bought cakes there numerous times, I will now go out of my way to shop anywhere but here!

Peggy portion? More like Peggy extortion. Used to come here in the past, cakes were about a fiver (still alot for an average product) but i liked the place. Came back recently and I do not know for the life of me why 1 cup cake to take away would ever cost close to 8 quid. At that price, how could you ever be anything but dissatisfied? I think they may of sold their sould to the 'gram, average joe customer probably not going to get much out of the experience.

I went there in 2018, it was already very expensive for what it was. In 2023, prices will double. So I didn’t use it. This might be nice to do once in your life. It’s a small shop that’s more Instagrammable than anything else.

Cute little cupcake and cake shop. The vegan chocolate with raspberry was the best tasting cupcake.

We have been served by Gosia for the morning tea and I must say, it has been such a wonderful experience. The food not only that looked mesmerizing it also tasted fresh and flavorful. I would come back to this place in the near future and I hope I will find Gosia again because thanks to her my experience was tailored made to cater my needs and wants

The place is beautiful but that’s it. The coffee taste was awful, the girl who made it overheated the milk so the texture was terrible and it burned my mouth on the first sip. The red velvet cupcake is dry and the icing is pure sugar. The carrot cake was okay if you have without the icing.. very sad and disappointing experience

Having looked at this quaint little cafe many times on instagram, my son kindly arranged a booking for my birthday while I was in London! We left Battersea early looking forward to brunch here…. Well, what a disappointment from start to finish. The outside had scaffolding around and zero floral decor like it shows on IG… After being seated at the table near the door, which opened and closed about 20 times leaving a cold draught we were sat in a table with dead/droopy flowers and a vase of faux flowers in the window! Ambiance was dreadful and certainly in need of a re-vamp! Toilet was even worse, if I’d gone to the toilet at the beginning of the visit I would have left!! Disgraceful!!! All in all, such a disappointing visit. The person who is in charge of social media should be given a huge pay rise as they portray this cafe to look quaint and inviting…when it’s anything but! Where do they get their photos from as that’s not the setting we saw!! . In my opinion it is a one overrated run down cafe!

Such a hype about this place from social media. But unfortunately it's just not I what expected. Staff was not welcome, no hello or welcome. Look around a bit in the entrance before going to sit on the back, about to look at the menu on top of front counter and a staff (male) grab it from us as told us of you have your own menu on your table. Very rude ! Food and cakes are average too nothing to be excited about. Cakes/bakery needs to have a happy athmosphere, but not here at Peggy Porschen. Such a pity...

I had already been to the one in Chelsea twice. It went very well. There…. It's much more mixed. The door didn't close, except that when you are right next to the door to eat, you either have the choice of eating with a cold draft or getting up to close the door. I must have gotten up, without kidding, at least 30 times with my sister. The manager understood and closed the door on us sometimes, which was nice of him. But when you eat in a place and you have to do that, it’s really unpleasant. If it hadn't been for this, the experience would have been much better! Maybe it would be good to do something. Service without a smile… 😶 Very few places so you absolutely have to book in advance to get a place and the slots are precise. However, the food remains very good, and the setting absolutely magnificent. ✨ The other two times I was delighted. Here, this is not the case !

A wonderful cafe! It had been on my bucket list to visit, due to us coming from Melbourne, Australia. It did not disappoint! The staff were lovely, and attentive, without being intrusive. And what a beautiful spot they have made it! So so pretty. I hope to visit again one day soon. 💖

- the issue with this place is the staff, if you don't want to work please don't take it out on the customers. - I actually recommend to the owner to install tablets for ordering to avoid interacting with staff The cakes are nice - had 2 cupcakes and 4 slices of cakes. Recommend the salted carmel popcorn one! Everything was good and not dry. Teas are fine.

We were informed once seated that there were 2 cooks missing and there would be a wait time for brunch. We waited 50 minutes for a hard sandwich with avocado on it and salmon... The staff was not at all smiling and not friendly We regret having spent this moment there and especially the very expensive PRICES for what IT IS!!!

The place is totally cute! It was my dream to come here! I couldn’t believe I was sitting there! But guess what? The slice of cake is was ok but nothing amazing (I am a cake lover but I wouldn’t go back here for cakes - maybe cup cakes are better!) But the coffee, I had the worst cappuccino of my whole life! There was no foam and I had to add 3 bags of sugar. Guys you have such a pretty popular place and really, you serve bad coffee? That’s pretty bad… Please please change your coffee and train your staff…

Fantastic decor and lovely place overall. The food is delicious and a great choice of teas. Fresh cupcakes and very well-designed. However, that’s all the place has to offer. You indeed just come, have some coffee and tea and take pictures. Worth a one time visit. We booked afternoon tea with the indoor seating and arrived 10 minutes early. Despite having 2 tables for 2 people fully set up and with signs “reserved” we were asked to wait outside. When called back, we were shown to the worst table possible, leaving us with the impression that our reservation was forgotten. We sat on the table in between the counter and door, so could not enjoy a proper conversation due to the coffee machine noise and people banging my chair on the door. Also, we had a speaker right next to us. It was very odd to us how others who arrived 5-10 minutes after and took the “reserved tables” that we saw when first walked in. Those tables were taken 2 people and the other only 1. Why would you not offer a single occupancy reservation our table and place us in the space where it is possible to have a chat since it is 2 of us? It is a busy and small place so do not expect proper service but the staff is friendly. However, could do better at table allocation.

Worst chai latte I’ve ever had - basically they made it with hot water and a dash of milk, so not a latte. Didn’t taste of anything. Cupcake was on the dry side. Not worth the price overall.

The store itself is pretty small, so seating inside is limited and I am assuming those who book afternoon or morning tea are prioritised in terms of indoor seating. We ended up sitting outside, it was very cold but thankfully the seats had some sort of cushion materials and blankets were provided which helped. A sign outside the shop states to wait to be attended to outside however one is not served until they go inside and inquire about being served themselves, maybe the store could improve in this area, making certain information more clear. However on this particular day we were made aware they were short-staffed and I am sure they were trying their best to be as efficient as possible. Overall serving in terms of how quick we got our menus and were given our food was satisfactory, although the hot chocolate was a bit too sweet and could have been warmer, I would have preferred a pistachio macaron alongside it instead of what I believe was a strawberry one. The cakes were heavenly however. The carrot and hazlenut had the perfect balance of flavours whilst their christmas menu special bramley apple and berry slice went very well with the whipped cream provided but was not too dry even when eaten without it. By the last few bites it does get a bit too heavy to eat but overall tastes amazing, do try it before it leaves the menu. The english breakfast tea was good as well.

A very stunning and sweet cafe, perfect for aesthetic photos and a wonderful moment to have with your loved ones. The cakes and drinks do taste great but not as unique as I was expecting in regards to the pricing. However, in general it is definitely worth the price and travel to come here.

L'afternoon tea chez Peggy Porschen est vraiment une sortie agréable, dans un cadre girly et avec un accueil chaleureux. L'assortiment est très copieux mais on repart avec ce qu'on n'a pas pu manger. Heureusement car il faut un bon appétit pour manger les 5 sandwich, les 2 scones et 4 pâtisseries ! On nous ressert du thé dès que notre théière est vide !

It’s lovely cozy girly . pancakes are delicious and the mascarpone cream on a side is a good idea. Cup cakes are different each time . Inside or outside with a a blanket an address not be missed . Booking is recommended.

I visited PP with some friends over the summer. The place is small so be sure to book ahead! But, they do have a small tea room at the back which is cute and beautifully decorated. We had the afternoon tea, regular and veg which was all well explained. They were busy and staff walked past me a couple of times while I waited at the sign to be seated. But generally servers are very helpful when I asked about the teas and seem to enjoy what they do. Portions are big so remember to ask for the to go box to take home what you can’t finish!

I think its a little unfair the amount of 1 star reviews this place has received, its almost like people think its a trend . “Its expensive “ its this , its that . You all knew its going to be like that , its not going to be the “best in the world coffee” . People’s expectations coming here are unrealistic. Die Afternoon Tea Time bei Peggy Porschen war einer der Highlights unserer London Reise. Ein Besuch des Cafés ist nicht nur ein absoluter Genuss, sonder auch ein Erlebnis, das wir jedem ans Herzen legen können. Eine Vorab-Reservierung ist über die Homepage möglich und hat bei uns auch problemlos funktioniert. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und duften uns zu Beginn einen der zahlreichen Tees auf der Karte aussuchen. Auch Kaffee wäre inkludiert gewesen. Der Preis von 50£ pro Person ist nicht ganz günstig, uns war es das jedoch absolut wert. Die wundervoll angerichteten Leckereien auf der Etagere lassen wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Was man nicht schafft, kann mitgenommen werden. Mit dem Service waren wir sehr zufrieden und werden bei einem nächsten London Trip ganz bestimmt wieder bei Peggy Porschen vorbeischauen. :)
