My food was so good today and I’m honestly positively sure you should eat here because it’s absolutely delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Called in for a spot of breakfast before my business meeting after a lovely sleep in the hotel. I was greeted by Katie on the bar, what a pleasant young lady she is. Catered me really well and was quick with my Lattee. Needless to say I will definitely be back on my next meeting in Bolton. Thank you very much Katie and hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🎄

From sorting our table to serving the meal & clearing up we couldn't have wished for better service. Whitney really is wonderful

Well Relly nice place took my kids into wacky for to play great staff very helpful and Whitney was very good with both kids they both got a balloon 🎈 a piece I Deffo come again. We will be here a for the Christmas party 🥳 for the kids lol 😆 I Recommend this to bring your children here great place very good food and the staff go that extra mile in wacky play centre love it for the kids .....💯

Carvery was really nice, Nathan and staff were all really friendly. Prices were reasonable and service was quick. Overall good evening.

The Bee Hive is always our go to Bar/Restaurant when we stop in Horwich and I recommend this place 100%. The carvery is exceptional value and good portions too and great value for money! Good selection of world lagers and comfortable seating areas all around the establishment, great friendly bar staff and catering staff provide excellent service too and the manageress is a delight and will do her utmost to make sure your visit is a comfortable and enjoyable one, her work is her passion. I will be back soon and would definitely recommend the Bee Hive for a drink and/or food it's always a pleasure.

Great service from Dan and Nathan, very welcoming from the start. Food was great, had a burger which was cooked very good! Lovely quality food.

Called in for a spot of lunch. (Katie c) the waitress was amazing. Sat me straight away and directed me to the carvery deck where I was greeted by Claire. Very helpful with my decision as was struggling on what meet to choose. Both a credit to the company. Will defo be calling again.

Delighted by our service on Sunday, carvery was fresh with a massive selection of vegetables on offer. Especially loved the sprouts. Have always loved the cauliflower cheese. The chef Claire was very efficient and made our visit very welcoming. Nathan and Lauren made our experience very good, making the extra mile with our desserts.

This place was amazing! Food was fantastic and the service was great considering we had a large party. Thank you Jordin, Ri, Michael, and Kieran for making our experience awesome! Cheers🍻

21 Years ago on 9/8/2003 we had our very 1st date here so we decided to make it a special memory by recreating our date 21 years to the day 9/8/2024 here at The Bee Hive and I must say Nathan and the guys made our meal a very special memory for us they actually sat us next to the table we had all those years ago, Thank you all for a wonderful anniversary meal you made us feel so welcome and the food was so so tasty xx

Staying at the premier inn next door for the weekend so we thought we would pop in and have an evening. Food was great and the staff were very helpful. Had breakfast here the following morning and would like to thank Faye and Jordan for looking after us. Great food again and Faye helped all the grandchildren with getting their breakfast. Thank you.

Kieron the bartender was so helpful and was a delight Megan our waitress was really lovely and very polite The food was good for the price

We had an amazing meal , Megan looked after us which made our experience wonderful, we visit from Leicester, so will be visiting again for sure.

Even tho it's closed at the moment my last visit was great. All the staff are very attentive and the chicken skewers was cooked to perfection. Special thank you to all the staff for being polite and professional considering the current climate we are in with COVID-19 but they followed all the protective polices to perfection Thank you very much and can't wait for you to be open again

Well I know we are in un certain times but the staff here are great . You feel comfy and safe for your whole visit . We like it here , missed it when it was closed . We know a few of the staff here but amanda is lovely and she’s defo an asset . She’s been there a long time and glad she still is . We will be back next week . Service 100%Food drinks 100%

It’s a great place in a great location on the roundabout . Looks welcoming from outside . And it’s also very welcoming inside .We sat on table 15 on Wednesday night me and 2 friends . We were talking to Amanda , great with all the gusts as we could see . An asset to the place . It’s very safe conscious and great food . We had carvery from Louis he’s bubbly made us laugh . All staff great but they stood out for us . We will be back

It is ages since we last visited this pub, and so thought we would give it a whirl.The food is pub/ restaurant fayre good choice and very reasonably priced.We were greeted by Janet, who seated us safely at social distance, and were made to feel welcome.Will be back.

Great visit our 1st family meal since lockdown. Kev the manager on duty was super friendly and helpful, never mind our super Kev Davies (bwfc) super Kev at the Beehive, great service by Laura and the rest of the staff, felt safe with the way they are managing the social distancing, very clean, food and drinks fantastic. Went to the beehive horwich for first time in 2 month, was very nervous and main man kev made us feel like we was at home. Fantastic canyon wait to come back, the food was brilliant and a shout out to Laura with great customer service.. made us feel very welcome and safe. We be coming again geoff, marka and vic x

Really good service, food was lovely, would recommend the carvery. Staff are really friendly and PPE was used, all safety precautions in place.

Whilst eating a superb meal, we have just witnessed Raychel, the pub safe monitor, doing an amazing job thoroughly sanitizing each table area as soon as it is vacated. We feel confident in coming back to the Beehive again for a meal as she has worked so hard in keeping us and others safe. Well done Raychel!

Came for a meal with my boyfriend while passing. Really nice inside and out. Food was brill loving the new menu and the 14oz steak which my boyfriend topped with rack of ribs. Great value for money. The new rules of social distancing worked really well. Will defiantly visit again.

Me and my little boy absolutely love it here, we always have carvery which is amazing, decent portions of meat and everything is fresh and hot. All the staff are amazing including the kitchen, they go above and beyond to make everything perfect. Last time we was in (last week) a lovely lady came over and made sure everything was okay with our food. You just can’t fault it here. A huge well done and thank you to all the staff here x

Having had a bad experience at this pub 18 months ago we decided to give it another go. Seriously wish we hadn't. The carvery was luke warm, the meat allowance was shocking, 1 small slither you could see through. Loads of people behind us were complaining so i know it wasn't just us and what is going on with your gravy!! It is so thick you could stand your fork upright in it!! We should have gone elsewhere, in 18 months its gone worse!

Visited with friends from suffolk the carvery was once again superb.Had lots of different meal here at the beehive and never had a bad one yet thanks to Kat and all her staff served with a smile and a chat everytime.Keep up the good work thanks.

Carvery was beautiful roasties were to die for and all veg was piping hot my dad don’t each much but he loved it he had beef dinner. Recommend fully

I visited on match day. Appreciate the bar was busy, but the bar staff only concentrated on the sides, not the front of the bar. I patiently waited for over twenty minutes, but the staff never even looked at the people waiting in front of them. My patience ran out eventually and asked why we weren't being served, only to be told "I wouldn't be with an attitude like that".

First time here just pub food to me ok but not for me I like more bistro but if you like pub food it's a must

If your expecting fresh food at carvery stay away from this place was there 3 hours food on carvery was not changed the 4 hours I was there person carving meat give me the rock hard peace at the end couldn't slice it thin kids hotdogs had Cumberland sausage on them which my child was not happy about won't be going back play area for kids was good but no good for family meal

I opted for a carvery as it was quick and I could have as much as I wanted. I wasnt dissatisfied. A great selection of vegetables and potatoes and the meat was cooked just they way I like it

paid £4.95 for a pint of Peroni as there were no guest ales available and the offer advertised of `2 bottles for £5' wasnt available on the Saturday I visited, rip off!

It's a good job I was staying next door as I didn't have far to go after trying several if the different gins they had. I had only gone for one but ended up staying for quite a while. A really friendly place and cracking gin selection

Spent an evening here with family from out of town and had a brilliant night. Food was great and staff Kevin, Zoe and Raychel went out of their way to ensure a good evening was had by all. A special mention to Kevin who had an amazing rapport with us and informed us of all the upcoming events at the Beehive. He made us feel really welcome and we will definitely be returning.

The staff where friendly unfortunately the food was not. There was an inordinate amount of salt in the gravy, the meat allowance on the carvery somewhat tight and generally it could all have been a lot better.

We have been a couple of times but the food and service was not good since it as been refurbished we came to try the carvery and it was lovely.There was plenty of choices of meat and vegetables.the man who served us was very friendly and polite.we had the small carvery and for £5 it was delicious.We would definitely come again

Eat here all the time, lovely place to go with family and friends. Staff are very friendly and service is brilliant, next door they have a wacky warehouse for the kids to play. Will continue to eat here very impressed

Went with the family for a meal. Staff are really friendly and helpful. My brother who is in a wheel chair was catered for really well. The found a table available for us to push his chair right up to the table. Food lovely and deserts are gorgeous.

average pub. standard food. rude and aggressive staff who snatched drinks back when they decided after hours of us being there that we weren’t allowed drinks - due to a 27 year old with us not having ID. policies are fair enough. but manners cost nothing. look forward to never going back.

This place is much better and the carvery is fantastic, can't fault it. Everything cooked beautifully and believe me, it takes a lot for a roast to impress me ;-)

I was taken here for a mothers day meal with my children. The service was exceptional. From entering and staff assisting us to our table to the end of the meal, the staff could not have been any more friendly. Full table service was given by a lovely staff member called Emma who could not do enough to accomodate our needs. She had everything under control and ensured a smooth service was delievred. The food was fantastic and drinks were bought to the table exceptionally quick, despite staff being busy. Full smiles and professional manner was visible at all times. The desserts were also fantastic. Definelty recommended.

Went for a mothers day meal with the kids the service was quick and friendly.all the staff looked happy to be there. One waitress called Emma served us as we sat and was really nice with kids had them laughing. Food was also really nice

Great staff /drinks/food great just a small issue yorkshire puddings being kept warm is turning them into Rocks they dont really need to be kept in the heat but still give it 10 out of 10 all round

We came in to eat, we had a lovely carvery can I say it was amazing we come in every Monday and was shocked to see Emma severe us the carvery she is normally on the bar but it is great that all the staff are trained to do it all Emma was fab as always and all the staff are really nice Chris and crystal have a great team,great pub,fab staff, amazing food.

Myself and my husband ate here and I had a carvery and he had a Yorkshire pudding wrap, the carvery was the best I have ever tasted and my husband loved his wrap but this was not the only reason we loved this place, the staff are so friendly and attentive .

The carvery at the Bee Hive is the best in the region. Always three choices of meats, great selection of vegetables, sauces & gravy. I could eat this every day. Cannot be beaten.

We visit the beehavie in Feb 2019 for our lunch we really enjoyed it the food was lush the atmosphere was nice and the service was brilliant we had the hunters chicken and all day breakfast really tasty will defo be calling here again

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door to the BeeHive on the 26 Jan 1019. We had the carvery dinner and it was first class and very good value for money.

new carvery installed, great value for money with new and very pleasant staff. Roomy and ground floor wheelchair acsess,separate childrens entertainment area.

Had a lovely time today. We visited the Wacky first, so the kids could run off some energy, whilst we had a coffee. We went through to the restaurant later, around 2:30. For a wet Sunday afternoon it wasn't too busy although there were a few tables booked for later, so we probably went at a good time. The hubby & myself had the carvery, standard size which is plentiful as I can never clear my plate. The kids had chicken nuggets & fish fingers, with doughnuts & icecream for desserts. Everybody enjoyed the meals, service was prompt, staff very friendly. We always enjoy eating here & mostly have the carvery as it's readily available but even when we've had something off the main menu it's always been delicious.

Hot food, as a good price. The pub was very clean and also the staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend.

We have started coming to this pub/carvery a lot recently as its very close to the motorway and every time we have left with smiles on our faces.

The carvery was tell nice. Great value for money, the pub was very clean and ALL THE staff was amazing and very help full, Emma served us at the bar we do visit a lot and will continue well done to all staff, have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year x

Food was below average. Even for the price. Not worth it. Ate twice. Lunch and Dinner due to staying in Hotel.

We all had standard plate for Sunday carvery at £7:99. Choice of three meats,gammon,beef and turkey. At least 10 different vegetables,stuffing and gravy. All the food was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was quite busy but we was soon seated and straight into the food. Excellent food well worth a visit.

Popped in for a late lunch after a bit of Christmas shopping was served by a lady called Sandra, she was very polite and couldn’t do more to help.

Came here Monday lunch and was fab we had the pleasure of being served by Natalie yet again service with a smile.

Visited The Beehive for lunch with my family, food was lovely, i had the carvery. We were served by 'Natalie' and she was very polite and friendly. She was also very accomodating with my little girl, getting us an extra plate and some crayons to keep her entertained. Fantastic service - thankyou!!

There had been a miss communication regarding our order however this was very quickly rectified my our amazing waiter Mohammed, he was so apologetic and ensured it was rectified speedily. Even outworh this error the food was great and atmosphere was really good. Overall price is really good and lastly a massive thank you to Mohammed for tentative service and overall good chat

Called in again, just around lunchtime, went for brekkie, not sure who is cooking these days, but food luke warm, most left, waitress never enquired about amount left. Staff training urgent needed in this place, used to be great to eat here.

Called last night on spec with the wife ,son and 2 of my Grandchildren.

Visit hear often wacky 1st good and loved by grandkids not to big but a good size staff are polite and helpful then into resturant for a carvery and a couple of kids meals both good value for money and beer not bad priced staff always helpfull and friendly would highly recommend only complaint they only serve breakfast till 9 would love it to be availble longer then I could sample it.

Well had a fabulous smothered steak yesterday. Cooked exactly to my liking . I have stopped having steak when I go out as not been being cooked right . But my steak yesterday was fab. Thanks Lou in the kitchen for my steak Lou

I come here on a regular basis with my children as they love the wacky warehouse attached. The menu has a great variety that caters to every taste! Being a creature of habit I go for a carvery every time and can’t fault it the options are plentiful and cooked to perfection.Our visit last week was an impromptu one we rang up for a table and the staff member shadow was extremely polite and helpful and did her best to find us a table. When we got there we weren’t waiting long at the bar either and were greeted with a smile. Would definitely encourage my family and friends to come here it’s got a bit of everything- can’t go wrong!

Visited the Bee Hive today. Not been for a while. It was a nice type of busy as the kids are off school. Had a pint in the bar before we took a table to eat. It was like a shop window, so many choices in the fridges and on the shelf. If I hadn’t have been driving I would have definitely tried a few of a MASSIVE choice of gins! We orders the sharing platter to start and smothered steak for main course- although I was REALLY tempted by the Carvery- it looked amazing! Well done all the team. A lovely experience, great atmosphere and fab food!

Your staff where like children. Throughout the whole time we where there all you could here from back of house was the staff screaming laughing and shouting sounded like they where in the school playground. I was stood waiting for nearly 10 minutes for someone to come assist me at the carvery. See real staff walked past me into the kitchen but not one got someone out. The options on the carvery were very limited. With most of the stuff either empty or not there at all. A very poor show considering that 1. You where not that busy and 2 we had just paid over 30 pound for food and drinks and didn’t have the option of half of the carvery.

Yet again was up to see family in Blackpool and this place has become a detore for us! This time we both had a signature mixed grill and the meat was mouth watering and exactly what we needed after a long drive! And very well presented on a massive plate that was hot and served to us with a smile.

Four of us called in for lunch on our way to Blackpool. You get an idea what a place is like with first impressions and this was good, all the tables were cleared and the place was spotless The two girls behind the bar were great and had a good sense of humour. There is a menu to suit all tastes and the food was freshly cooked and well presented, portion sizes were generous. We did not have the carvery but it looked very inviting. Wish this pub was on the other side of Manchester, we would be regulars.
