They keep farm animals as a sort of really sad petting zoo on the premises. This surely can't be legal and seems like it would be a fistful of health code violations, nevermind the poor animals!!

Still a Great little pub, still the best pub in the area.

Since initial post have been a few more times. Food has improved and upkeep of pub feels better. Very friendly staff, collection of animals, pigs, lambs, ducks, budgies, rabbits. Great for kids.

First time for Luvkaraoke. It was a fab night. The pub is small but has a restaurant and stage/dance area. Great staff and the food looked good. Lots of activities on weekly so will definitely return. Had outdoor seating and parking was easy.

Took my lovely Auntie for lunch here. I had a lovely, decent portion of salmon in chive sauce with new potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus. Favourite Auntie had scampi and chips. Lovely glass of red. Harry looked after us very well. Food was really good. Quite a few people in on a quiet Tuesday lunchtime. Would definitely eat here again. Thank you, Harry, for a lovely meal and great, smiley service.

Good pub food, the entertainment with the trumpet player was good too.

A hidden Jem in Enfield. We visited for a family meal on Saturday afternoon and found a lovely atmosphere with families young and old enjoying a peaceful traditional English pub. The atmosphere of people talking laughing enjoying each others company accompanied by a varied traditional and contemporary menu. The service was attentive, and the food was fresh and made with quality produce. Special shout out to the prawn starter best I've had in a very long time. Cheers 👍🏾

My son who is mixed race and 18 years of age and has id was refused service as they did not like his look or vibe apparently this was my sons first experience at a pub and was very nervous so to be told he does not have the right look or vibe based on no bad behavior or interaction is crazy we have all been young and been in the pub with our friends but unfortunately if you don't look a certain way or they don't like your vibe you will not get served terrible behavior and Harry the bar staff is the one who discriminated against him and I will be taking this further not acceptable

We just moved to the area so thought to try out some local pub grub…worse tasting food ever, even the kids with their premature taste buds noticed the food wasn’t up to scratch …not worth the price either….think I’m wrong? try them out yourself

Went for Sunday lunch, would recommend. Nice vegetables, lots of gravy and the Beef was very nice. Good portion size, and the desserts were great. Good value for money. Staff are very friendly and attentive.

We had a wonderful roast dinner

This is a pub with excellent food. It is friendly and the service is prompt and cheerful. The children were made very welcome. The food is worthy of a good restaurant, freshly cooked, great ingredients and imaginative.

Refused to sell me water? I get it if it was alcohol (although I am quite literally 18 years old and have ID on me). Where is the logic in that? Tried to embarrass and humiliate me in front of the other individuals who were sat down. Its appalling. I just wanted some water.

My wife and I had Sunday lunch (pre-booked). We had not been before and foolishly ordered starters, the deep fried Brie and duck liver pate were excellent, tasty and well presented. However, the roast chicken lunch and the mixed lamb and pork roast lunch were outstanding! The lunches were piled in a high stack with vegetables presented on side dishes. The standard of both meals was exceptional, The chicken, lamb and pork were perfectly cooked, the roast potatoes, parsnips and stuffing were a delight but the pork cracking was out of this world. Even the apple sauce for the pork was amazing, I don’t like mint sauce so I did not try it with the lamb. Unfortunately, there was no room for a pudding or dessert. The service was excellent; attentive but unintrusive. All in all we would recommend the Sunday roast lunch at The Beehive in the highest order and will definitely be returning as soon as we possibly can.

*** DO NOT GO HERE, EXTREMELY RACIST PUB *** I tried to go here for NYE (31/12/2023) and despite me calling the pub the day before and being told on the phone that anyone could attend the NYE party they were hosting. Me and my friends were then refused entry because the bald staff member said to us "regulars only" and when I told him about the call he seemed to have developed amnesia and implied I was lying. Then right after that, they ended up letting in a white couple, very convenient. EDIT: It seems like they are getting their staff and friends to 5 star bomb the reviews, do not believe them, me and my friends were treated badly by the staff due to having a different skin colour.

The food was awful, chips were the tiniest portion of frozen chips and saturated in oil.

Really delicious, high quality food with very generous portions. It is a very clean and comfortable place to eat with a lovely, warm, family ambiance.

First time coming here, the service was brilliant. The atmosphere was amazing I haven’t been to a pub like this in a very long time. Everyone was soo friendly the staff were all polite and I had an amazing time. This has made my Christmas and I’ll advise you to experience the beehive for yourself.

A fight broke out the Friday before Christmas!!!! Me and my family are traumatised. We had to move across the road to have some civility. Would never want to return until serious changes are made

Highly recommend if you are looking for fresh, locally sourced and tasty food. Is our go to place for drinks, food and somewhere the kids can be entertained. Great selection of drinks and service is always on point.

We reserved a table for Christmas dinner with high expectations for the food. The cozy atmosphere, with a limited crowd, was pleasant. The starters were decent, but the main course, featuring roast free-range turkey with pigs in blanket, roast vegetables, and gravy, disappointed. The turkey exhibited signs of pre-cooking with subsequent reheating, the roast potatoes were excessively firm, and the pigs in blanket actually only 1 was oversized. The Yorkshire pudding resembled rubber, and I refrained from trying the additional gravy. The dessert, Raspberry mousse, was passable but not exceptional. The service also fell short; there was no communication about when our courses would be served. One colleague's starter sat uncovered on the table for nearly an hour due to her late arrival. Despite the enjoyable company of colleagues, the overall experience was marred by the disappointing meal. While we had heard positive reviews about the venue's food, the Christmas meal did not live up to expectations. Exploring other menu options might have yielded a better dining experience.

A great pub with good homemade cooked food..

Came here today for a cheeky early Christmas Lunch and wasn't disappointed, will definitely be returning to sample their Sunday Roasts in the future. We'd pre-ordered our food which was all very tasty, well (not over) cooked and served in a timely manner 👍

Far to expensive for a small pub in the middle of houses in Bush Hill, also noticed the food hygiene rating after I'd eaten will not be going back because of this and the pricing.

First time at the Beehive and wanted somewhere nice to go with friends ,well the menu was very nice they cater for every taste and appetite! The food was excellent fresh vegetables chips and homemade steak pie melted in my mouth ,and of course dessert yummy .the service was great a lovely young man nothing too much trouble ! Thankyou we will be back .

Fantastic Sunday lunch, tender roast beef and a beautiful battered haddock. All freshly cooked. A lovely Tart Tatin and Eton Mess to follow. Not cheap, but quality ingredients and worth every penny.

More expensive than other locals. About £15 for a pint and small wine compared with £10 in the other locals

Best Sunday Roast I have had in a pub. My daughter had the beef and I the nut roast. Both delicious. Ace roast potatoes! Good gravy and plenty of it. We will return.

We have been here before and will definitely be coming again. The food here is always great. Home cooked, fresh vegetables fresh salad. None of the out of the freezer into oven and on the plate. No this is very good food. Great to bring children as they cater for them and have animals in the garden for them to see. Not as many on this visit as usual but enough for them to enjoy. The staff are all friendly. I wish we lived with in walking distance. I would be there every week

Went on a Sunday evening so it was quiet but a pleasant evening with drinks, spent in the tidy garden. Pet corner is a nice touch though felt it looked pretty cramp for the lambs and goats and ducks. Staff were friendly enough and clean inside but drinks, I felt, were very expensive..nearly £18 for a gin and tonic, medium sauvignon and two small bags of crisps(maybe I need to get out more?) Reviews are good for food so would try another time.

Great food on Sunday lunch but disappointed that there's NO fish or seafood on the menu.

Really enjoyed our visit here for a family Sunday lunch. Generous amount of good quality food (although the Yorkshires were a bit chewy and probably not homemade). Efficient friendly service. A good selection of real ales - the Dorking Brewery one I tried was delicious and in great condition. The petting zoo is an unusual feature - our 2 yr old loved it

Wonderful birthday lunch in this genuinely 'dog friendly' family run pub. Rang the day before to check it would be okay to bring the pooch into the restaurant as thought it would be too cold to eat in the garden. As long as dog is well behaved, not a problem. On arrival the dog was actually given a water bowl even before we received our drinks. Food was excellent - generous portions and offered a 'doggie bag' (quite appropriate in the circumstances). Service very friendly and unobtrusive. Only wish I had room for a dessert - next time will have a smaller main as keen to try their Eton Mess. Would definitely recommend as a dog and family friendly venue. Plus the added benefit of the 'petting farm' in the grounds. On our visit we met a delightful 3 day old mini goat kid - icing on the cake...

The first time we visited this place. So much choice for Sunday lunch which included lamb my favourite. The portion size was very generous. Will be going back soon.

Have not been here for years, I took my mother for a quick lunch, we both had omelette chips, i had to ask for my omelette to be cooked more as it was a bit runney for me., also the frozen chips I was very disappointed in as The pie came with lovely homemade thick chips. staff polite,

Nice little pub on the way to Enfield Town,with a range of real ales. As I was passing I came in for a pint of Winter Wonder (The Mighty Oak Brewing Company) and some excellent fish and chips. I suddenly realised that someone was sitting opposite me! (See attached photo.) 😻

Real ale in excellent condition miss the old Beehive had more character but it's still open! still very comfortable.

We had tickets to take the grandkids to see Santa and unfortunately they were unwell. Me and husband went for a delicious Sunday roast anyway, and the food, staff and food were great. Glenn let us reschedule the Santa visit, which we did today. The grandkids were totally thrilled and the grotto, Santa and reindeer experience was one of all our Christmas highlights!

Such a friendly pub cum restaurant. An all round place to watch sport, eat and have a drink. Glen the Gov. knows how to run a business. Still the same TG.

SO LOUD OH MH GOD don't go here when they're playing loud music if you want to be able to talk to the people next to you. Also bring ear plugs. They didn't have a drinks menu I could find. I give one extra star because there were two cats and nobody minded them being in there which for me is great cos I love cats, but the cats don't come up to you. They don't like pets, so just admire them from a distance. I wouldn't recommend feeding them without asking the staff first, they seem like strays but they were allowed in the back rooms so I don't know. It's very clean so I'll give it that. More cats and quieter music would make this place better than a spoons. A good pub if you don't mind being deafened.
