This is no longer the bean house. It is a fish and chip shop with an eating area that sells cake and coffee or eat in fish and chips

Love this hidden little gem, nice coffee with great service and never really have to wait unlike at the big coffee chains

Been here a few times now, tend to visit about once per week because I like it so much. Food always great, coffees can be a bit hit and miss depending on who makes it.

I only go here for a drink but it is nice to find places that do alternative milks. I could have a tea with “milk”! There isn’t much choice for dairy and soya free food but I suppose I can’t have my cake and eat it. Nice atmosphere. Always very clean and tidy.

This cafe was recommended by our son who pops in on the weekend sometimes. We must admit we never realised a cafe was in this block of shops until he mentioned it to us. There is a limited breakfast choice but that didn't bother us. We opted for a bacon roll, scrambled eggs on toast and coffees. All was tasty and very reasonably priced. The coffees were very good too. The cafe is modern and clean and staff were very friendly.

Forget your Starbucks or Costas, this place serves up an excellent coffee and they bring it over to your table. Nice people, great service attitude. Love it.

I love this cafe. It’s in a good location- right near Tesco’s so is easy to get to- and the staff are very friendly. Only issue I have is that the food is a bit overpriced but the drinks are mostly worth the money.

A great cafe to pop in to for a refreshing drink or snack, good range of really nice cakes & pastries as well as various hot food etc. I can recommend both the coffee and milkshakes - spot on in this hot weather!!

I went The Bean House with a friend for a coffee and a catch up. We waited a couple of minutes to be served despite the place being virtually empty, whilst the staff chatted in the kitchen about how they couldn’t wait to finish for the day. The lady who eventually served us couldn’t have been anymore unfriendly or dismissive if she’d tried. Such a shame as the food and drink was nice, but I’d rather spend my time and money somewhere where you’re greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome.

Have popped in several times since the bean houses opening. Coffee is fabulous, with many different flavours and types on offer. Also the hot food is great value and cooked to order. Conveniently situated next to Tesco’s, go on pop in and try it for yourself.

I know this place has been open for a little while now, however I had never had the chance to have coffee here until now. My partner and I decided to try this place and have a little snack and a drink for breakfast. As we entered the house we were greeted warmly by a barista which was nice. I had a flat white and a sausage sandwich which was the breakfast offer. The coffee and sandwich tasted good and this offer was a decent price. The only thing I could have improved was to have some ketchup on my sandwich, I wasn't offered any but then again I didn't ask for any either do may have been my mistake not to ask. My wife had a juice as she is not keen on hot drinks and a brie, bacon and cranberry panini. She was pleased with the selection of cold drinks and she tells me the sandwich was a 7 out of 10. We had our food and drink inside the bean house. My only criticism was that the chairs were not that comfortable and when i think about it they gave the bean house a "flat-pack" furniture feel to the place. Overall I do think i would eat and drink there again the staff seem nice and the coffee was good I just hope the shop invests in some more comfortable seats.

Nipped in here a couple of months ago on a spur of the moment to grab a couple of coffees and bacon sandwiches to go. The coffee was ok at best, the bacon sandwiches were very fatty with just bog standard supermarket bread. It wasn't a cheap takeaway breakfast, and I would expect a new independent coffee place to try and achieve something of a little more quality than they are providing. The place was empty at a prime time on a Saturday morning, the interior didn't feel very welcoming and the branding just felt budget (what is with the logo/type face? Looks like a 90s computer shop rather than a coffee shop!). I really had high hopes for this place when I heard Grange Farm was getting a new coffee shop, maybe something likened to Honey+Harvey in Woodbridge, but this is far from that. Hopefully there will be a bit of a rethink about the set up of the place, and I'm sure they could turn it round into a place which really gets people wanting to go and spend some quality time there.

It's a nice cafe but very raw. The atmosphere it's very odd and awkward sometimes. Staff are not overly friendly but not rude or anything.. Overall experience very average.

I go here nearly every week since it opened earlier this year to have a coffee and either a cake or bacon roll. A good independent local cafe with friendly staff and good freshly prepared food.

Sorry to say it was the worst breakfast I've had in the cafe. But if I pay £15.10 for coffee and full English I expect the highest standards. Bacan was so bad I couldn't even eat it. The picture says it all. Who would serve a customer food that looks like that. Lovely staff but all they did was apologised for the drop in standards.

We always come for a walk to the dip when visiting family , a great spot to sit and have coffee and cake and look out to sea , today I had one of the homemade cheese scones it was one of the best I have ever eaten , whatever the weather always a great establishment for a warm welcome and delicious fair, great ice creams in the summer and hot chocolate in the winter .
