Excellent customer service. We hadn’t booked but they managed to fit us in. We were made to feel at home and well looked after. The food was delicious. The sourdough bread is amazing. We will definitely visit again.

A hidden gem in Eastbourne. Off of the seafront Beach Rd. Fabulous breakfast lunch especially Sunday roast. Been coming since it opened. Feel safe with the C19 precautions sanitizer etc. Proprietors lovely great team working there. Booking recommended

Brought our two kids here for breakfast. Amazing service, great food, they had stuff for the kids to do, excellent value. Highly recommended.

Truly faultless and totally delicious . The meat was perfectly cooked , melt in the mouth , veg all so tasty , gravy spot on . Always rate a good roast by the gravy and it is was superb here . Our number 1 place to go for roast now . Puds were equally excellent and service friendly and efficient . Also was fairly priced . Well done Beach Kitchen for yet another successful venture . You are a breath of fresh air in Eastbourne .

Second visit for breakfast for us and we enjoyed a 'Hipster' and a 'Proper' this time. Very high quality food with only a minimal wait and highly attentive and friendly waiting staff. Great coffee too. You can eat here with your eyes shut. Make sure you book first.

We had a great brunch here today. The waitress was so helpful and they accommodated my daughter who is Coeliac really well. Their menu isn’t marked with allergens but upon asking we were advised what they do Gluten free (almost everything), knowledge of cross contamination was very good and they didn’t make us feel awkward. They made my six year old feel so welcome and didn’t make her feel different for being gluten free. I was very impressed and we will go again when in Eastbourne!

We were on a short trip to Hailsham staying in a cabin and wanted somewhere nice to have breakfast- this place caught our eye as their dishes looked a little different to the bog-standard "full english breakfast" in most other places. We arrived (sat) with no booking and the cafe was fully booked, so we waited and then the kind owner managed to fit us in. The food was very tasty and could tell it was good ingredients. I also like the smoothie options on offer- all made with fresh fruit (not juices). The owner and waitresses were just so friendly, attentive and had a smile on their face.We ended up going back again a second time, and food was nice again.A nice establishement, good food and very friendly, customer focused staff.

Visité Beach Kitchen hoy por primera vez.En primer lugar, debo abordar los problemas de Covid mencionados en revisiones anteriores. En mi opción, se siguieron las reglas del gobierno del Reino Unido y me sentí seguro. El personal usaba cubiertas para la cara y había gel para manos en todas las mesas. Hubo distanciamiento social y un sistema de control y seguimiento del gobierno del Reino Unido en funcionamiento. No importa lo que sea en mi opinión.La señora que atendió a mi esposo y a mí fue encantadora y amable. Nos trataron muy bien.Lo bueno fue increíble, mi esposo tomó un desayuno adecuado y comentó lo buena que estaba la salchicha. Se presentó bien, agradable y caliente.Comí un bollo de brioche con salmón ahumado (huevos Benedict). Esto fue magnífico.Ambos estamos ansiosos por volver. Fue tan bueno que volvimos a la mañana siguiente antes de irnos a casa. Una excelente variedad de comida, buen café. Ambas mañanas, el personal trataba a todos como 'clientes habituales' y no se podía pedir un mejor servicio, especialmente bajo la presión de 2020. ¡Definitivamente regresaremos en cualquier momento que estemos en la zona!

This place is well know locally for its excellent breakfasts and has recently extended their service to include Dinner. Great bistro style food in a very relaxed atmosphere with lovely service for good value.

Al llegar, pude ver que todas las mesas estaban a menos de dos metros de distancia, así que pedí sentarme afuera, después de sentarme con mi pareja, la camarera me dio un menú usado (que tenía salsa marrón en la esquina superior izquierda) claramente no limpiado entre los clientes. la mesera no llevaba ningún PPE y no parecía ni remotamente interesada en el distanciamiento social. Los cubiertos estaban en un cubo que cualquier cliente anterior pudo haber tocado y salsas en botellas grandes. ! ¡Por favor, alguien puede informarles de la pandemia! !La comida y el personal fueron bastante buenos, sin embargo, debido a la falta de políticas de Covid, no regresaré. Visited with a large family group, which they kindly accommodated. Really imaginative menu, good kids options, excellent veggie choices, lovely drinks, top-notch bloody Mary. Service was perfectly judged, attentive, precise, but informal. We all had a great time, thank you.

Great location, busy little place, seemed mainly full of locals which is always a good sign. The staff were attentive, kind and welcoming. The food was locally sourced and delicious. This place is a real find!!

To my mind the best cafe in Eastbourne. I personally would like a choice of cup and saucer for tea love that they have started using teapots mugs don't do the cafe justice. But I appriciate that most people would prefer mugs.

Better then your normal greasy spoon cafe, more of a "bills" type cafe. Lovely staff and food would recommend for a good breakfast without the oily start to the day, nice decoration too!

I came upon this restaurant by surprise - no big signs - nothing really pointing to it - but they don't need them. The proof is in the service and the delicious food. The place was packed. A lovely place for locals to go to.

Went with my wife and daughter after our usual breakfast haunt is shut for a holiday. Just off the seafront with reasonable parking outside or nearby. Menu was varied with a specials board, as well. Opted for the breakfast to gauge what it is like and was impressed. Kedgeree was on offer, but that is being reserved for our next visit. Nice surroundings, mixed clientele and a constant stream of customers. My wife tried the loos and told me they were very good. Service was prompt, staff pleasant, clean, tidy, and dog friendly. We will return.

We just happened to be driving past at lunch time and as we’ve seen the great reviews thought we’d stop for something to eat. And we certainly weren’t disappointed! We received a warm and friendly welcome, prompt service and delicious food. There was a slight misunderstanding over our order as we planned to share two different menu items (between the two of us) and asked for a small change to facilitate this. When we pointed this out they were very apologetic and rectified it immediately, even though it was probably our fault for confusing the issue! Didn’t try the coffee, but they have a great selection of more unusual soft drinks. Will definitely go back.

We visit here all the time as this place is just an absolute gem! Debbie is always super accommodating and friendly the food is always amazing, sometimes their so busy as quite a small cafe but nether the less the team try their utmost to get you a table!

Best breakfast we have ever eaten. The best advice we got from trip advisor was to book a table. The café was full and they turned people away. We did feel sorry for the staff when a table for 10 did not turn up or even call them to cancel their booked table. The saying "you get what you pay for" certainly applies to this café. Excellent food and presentation. The staff all care and are all very efficient, great customer service. The owners should be very proud. we will be coming back next time we are in Eastbourne. Breakfast with friends and thankfully we had booked in advance. People were literally queuing out of the door whilst we were in there. Staff are attentive and the food is really,really tasty. No cheap sausages or beans are served here! :) Booking in advance is a must, if you want to be guaranteed a table. Enjoy your breakfast :)

Arrived not knowing it was better to book a table and thankfully we were offered the last table. We saw the Beach Kitchen on trip advisor and read the wonderful reviews. So glad we visited as the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food is fabulous and they also cater for vegans and gluten free as well. The breakfast menu was varied and it was difficult to choose from but when we did, we waited whilst the food was freshly cooked. Wow, we were not disappointed.

Iv been to this cafe off the main drag but what a find great food coffee also proper English breakfast etc the odd dog in there but that dosent worry me in fact i prefer dog's than some of the toe rags i.e. humans that go into cafs nowadays but back to the food etc great breakfasts and lunches a little pricey but if you want quality that's ok with me so see you soon beach kitchen ‍♂️

Can’t recommend the Beach Kitchen highly enough.

Such a shame, been here many times as the food is so good but today we went for a late Sunday brunch and the table next to us had a dog, that was allowed to not only sit to the table but also to eat off it. The staff were bringing food out for it so it was obviously allowed. Love dogs, but didn't think it was appropriate. Also another person came in with a dog...although obviously a regular, let his dog cock his leg up the chair

Simply put - you won't find a better breakfast in town. Great value lovely service but you should pre-book.

There’s not much I can add to some of the recent reviews. An old greasy spoon cafe has been lovingly transformed into an outstanding location for a healthy and delicious breakfast (with lunch items served from noon). Charming friendly staff and beautifully prepared food (photos attached)

We had been recommended this place by a few friends, all of whom insisted you would not find a better breakfast in Eastbourne. And to their credit, they were right. This place is lovely. Intimate but very friendly and a great atmosphere. The food speaks for itself. Looks stunning on the plate, almost too good to eat but we managed. Fairly well priced but you pay for quality which you’re getting in spades here. Can’t wait to go back

Went in here just before 2pm - they close at 3pm, ordered ham, egg & chips with freshly squeezed orange juice. Was informed shortly after that they'd just run out of ham so changed order to a brunch type cooked breakfast.

We recently took our family here to celebrate my husband’s 70th birthday and we all had a brilliant time. We were a large party of 8 adults and 7 young (lively) children but the friendly staff were not daunted and coped extremely professionally when taking our orders and serving our food. They served all of the children first which worked out extremely well. The food was absolutely delicious and we felt good value for money. We were very grateful to everyone at the Beach Kitchen for making our family outing so enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Went in today (sunday 15th sept) for breakfast with a large group of friends (11 of us) just as they opened. We all had fantastic food, in fact I would say the best "proper" english breakfast I have had, and I've had alot !!!!

Popped in here for a late brunch. I had a vegetarian breakfast - lots of options re bread and egg preference. It was absolutely delicious, as was the flat white coffee I had. Service swift and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Perfect place for breakfast/brunch.

Fabulous service, amazingly tasty breakfast, great variety, relaxing environment. Well worth the walk. The staff couldn't have been more helpful as we had a wheelchair user and they made sure we were accommodated and welcome. That alone was worth the visit but then the breakfast came and all 5 of us had a perfectly cooked breakfast with really tasty ingredients. If you are Eastbourne you must visit. There can't be a better breakfast in town.

High quality ingredients with very friendly service- book to avoid disappointment, as not many tables and it fills up quickly- can get very noisy due to the size, but the great quality breakfast and great service makes up for it! Highly recommend.

This is without doubt the best place in Eastbourne to get a breakfast, very fresh produce, we even saw the local butcher delivering the sausages. Never mind tin tomatoes, you get fresh cherry tomatoes on the vine here, you will not be disappointed.

I went here for a late lunch, at 3pm and was welcomed. I chose a fish pie from the "specials" menu and it was excellent, with a variety of good quality fish pieces. There was no rush for me to leave. It had a nice friendly atmosphere

We went in for lunch and saw this lovely little cafe and thought be nice to visit. We walked to be asked if we had a reservation!!!! I said "no" so got turned away. Very confused as thought it was just a cafe. After being treated so badly will not revisit

Came here sunday at like 1230pm and the place was still buzzing, which is always a good sign. Girls serving were friendly. The food is amazing, nice and fresh and a decent portion. The decors cute too. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you.

I've been here only three times but the food is of the highest quality. Portions are generous and not only do they serve one on the best English breakfast I've seen (many options)but you have lots of healthy options to choose from as well . I cannot recommend the Beach Kitchen enough. If you want to guarantee a table you will probably have to book but as we've turned up more of a brunch time we have been lucky to get a table. I will continue visiting this little delight. Tourist or local its a must visit and you will not go away disappointed or hungry.

Been a regular of Beach Kitchen now for a very long and for good reason the food is incredible never lets you down and always a good environment. If you want an amazing breakfast with lots of options then look no further!

We arrived as a party of 9 which included 3 young children. The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating, they even went so far as to prepare a meal for my son based on his request. The food was wonderful, really tasty, the service was prompt, the owners were fantastic and the cafe itself was brilliant. They had a stash of books and toys for my sons and we were treated like we were attending a family lunch. 10/10 on everything. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

We arrived just after 11.30 in search of lunch for a perpetually hungry grandson. The lunch menu did not officially start until noon but the staff recognised the boy's need and made an exception for us. In addition they were prepared to serve a child's portion of fish and chips which certainly satisfied his appetite - a good sized portion of fish, chips and peas. The locally caught crab salad appealed and the crab meat was probably the most delicious I have ever tasted - you could taste the sea in every mouthful. Service was quick and efficient. An absolute gem!

My hubby and I popped in here mainly because I had seen the reviews and the fact they cater for coeliacs who need to follow a GF diet. They were extremely busy when we went but we had a table seated outside which was absolutely fine. We had a fair wait for our food but oh boy was it worth it, My kedgeree was sooooo good. I actually wanted to order it again straight after but thought that would just be too greedy. If you are in the area please call in here, Friendly, effeicient and excellent at their job.

A Very popular venue with a great local reputation, so much more than a cafe but without being a restaurant.

The Beach Kitchen was recommended by a friend as the best place for breakfast in Eastbourne so as it was family birthday we thought we’d see if they were right. On arriving we were lucky enough to get the last indoor table (didn’t fancy taking our chances with the local seagull population outside although a water pistol deterrent is provided). The other clientele consisted of other families and several members in the local builders fraternity (always a good sign when it comes to a decent breakfast).

Second time we have been here. Amazing menu with the food to match. Very friendly and helpful staff. And this has got to be the BEST place for choices of sugar free drinks.

On a crystal clear, hot Saturday morning this was an ideal site for breakfast. Service was pretty good and very friendly. I had the main breakfast classic; it was great and of a decent size. Sitting outside was pretty much idyllic; the coffee wasn't bad and the views superb. Parking was pretty easy right nearby and it was a fairly short walk into town. The only glitch was trying to order off menu, but we got there in the end.

One of the great full English breakfasts. Staff were first class - and happy to humour the five of us whilst we all ordered variants of the full English. The full English was superb - we were all agreed it was amongst the best any of us have had. We had breakfast in the Beach Kitchen both Sat and Sun to illustrate the point. Definitively popular with those in the know as it was busy from the got go but you did not feel rushed. Genuinely could not find fault with anything during both visits and look forward to visiting again when in Eastbourne

Was in town for the weekend and after one amazing breakfast here doubled down and came back. Both breakfasts were excellent, coffee was awesome and the ladies that served us both days were sensational. How this place isn’t number 1 is beyond the 5 of us.

17 Mar Beach Kitchen Eastbourne. Visited for Sunday Breakfast having booked in advance (you definitely need to book). The restaurant is tucked away on a mostly residential street. No beach view. Tables are tightly packed (much more so than in the photo) and there's a buzzy, family friendly atmosphere. The restaurant is dog friendly and a number of dogs were under their owner's table. Restaurant staff are super friendly and we felt very welcome despite it being our first visit. Their take on eggs benedict was fantastic, with large portions and very well prepared. They certainly know how to turn out an excellent breakfast. Would happily return.

Visited on a Friday morning. Was very busy when we got there and had to wait a few minutes for a table. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Menu had a few good options for my vegetarian wife. I had the hipster breakfast, which was actually up there with the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! Corn pancakes, sour dough toast, avocado, bacon, poached egg, grilled haloumi, tomatoes. Loved every bite.

Visited here after searching for a full English In eastbourne and it definitely didn't disappoint. Had the 'proper breakfast' cost £9.95 including tea or coffee and slice of toast. Food was amazing. One of the best I've had. :)

We were only in Eastbourne for one night and the Beach Kitchen was a bit of a trek but we were glad we made the effort. Fabulous breakfast, really friendly, helpful staff and a table outside in the sunshine. Perfect.

The service was A little bit off today I've had better service when it's been a lot busier But other than that top draw keep it up guys
