Great new menu. Delicious tapas 😍 Staff are really lovely and friendly, really on the ball. Would definitely recommend and will be back very soon.

After a swim at Leysdown beach, we stopped at the Bayview for lunch. Being a big fan of Tapas, that was the obvious choice on the menu, which for a refreshing change included the usual traditional dishes one would expect. I was not disappointed at all, especially with the Albondigas. All I can say is, I left a happy man and, shamefully, for the first time in a long long time I left a very well deserved tip.Service was also excellent. Muchísimas gracias to the Bayview.

Visited on Fathers day and all four of us has the Sunday roast. I thought it was great that there was a choice between meats, beef, lamb or chicken.This was the first time I had eaten in here but my Dad and sister have been in a few times when she has visited him on the island.None of us were disappointed, the meals were lovely and a really great size, plenty of meat, potatoes and veg. The staff were brilliant, clearly very busy but still took the time to check if we needed anything else or wanted more drinks.All dads were also given a little tub of retro sweets with a miniature strawberry vodka, I thought that was a really nice touch. I'll definitely be back when I next visit my Dad.

We used to love the place, unfortunately it’s now got a new chef and our Father’s Day meals were terrible and tiny. The 20oz steak was more like 8oz, it had to go back as wasn’t cooked to how we ordered it, the scampi left a film in my mother’s mouth, my sons adult roast was 1 potato bigger than my step daughters child’s roast. Peppercorn sauce turned up half way through our meals. The waiting staff however we’re very polite and apologetic towards us, the manageress offered a discount as compensation and was very apologetic.Personal opinion is to speak to long term customers, look at what the food used to be like and match it. If they did this, they’d have a small gold mine on their hands

At the beginning of June we spent a couple of nights on Sheppey. It wasn't easy finding somewhere to eat but we came across the Bay View and received a warm welcome from the friendly staff. My wife has a very small appetite and she was provided with a child's burger without any quibble (which was more than enough for her, or any average child). My steak was cooked just as I like and was excellent. The pub is geared towards families who were well catered for. My only problem was that, because of the hot weather, the pub had run out of draught bitter, but the bottled Abbot Ale was very acceptable!

Went here for the first time, and the food and service was lovely and very child friendly. Would definitely recommend to any family to attend this place!!!I had the mixed grill and the steak was cooked to perfection. I asked for medium rare, I got medium rare. Superb!!!!

the menu was a very small overpriced and the room smell of damp we did not stay so can not tell you how it is

Visited for lunch with a pal, food was excellent, service was excellent and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again and again.

Me and my partner have been coming to the pub weekly after work. On Friday I tried the new 1/2 cocktail pitcher sex on the beach and it was amazing, excellent value for money. We ordered a child’s meal and nachos and it was unreal. We will definitely be making this a tradition, staff are lovely, friendly and polite.

Me and my friends had such an excellent experience. All 4 of us had different meals from steaks to ribs to the rotisserie chickens and all meals were near on perfection! You can see the effort the staff put in daily to make the place work. Will 10/10 return ASAP.

Overpriced was an understatement & after my brother in law was told to share a mask with his wife we were told we wouldn't get a refund because all we wanted to do was leave. NEVER AGAIN

Chicken burger was lovely with the sauce they had on it. The batter was so crisp buns where lovely an fresh chips was steak cut an golden. I also had nice golden onion rings oh and well, the best peppercorn sauce I've ever tasted it's a must. I had a few drinks after my dinner they do a cracking pint and the atmosphere was lovely. There was lots of friendly people there that day had great day out will be back again

My partner and I visited this beautiful pub on Sunday. The staff are very welcoming and the chicken was by far the best rotisary chicken I have ever tasted I had piri piri glaze I can't wait to try the others.

My partner and I attended this pub for a meal with my brother and his wife. Staff were rude and unwelcoming, we tried to use the toilet but had not taken a mask. We were told that we needed a mask to use the toilet but they did not provide masks! I had not taken one and was told by the staff to use the one my brother had on. We were eating outside the food took 45 minutes to arrive and was of average quality but very expensive.

Heartbroken, 6 months waiting for my favourite restaurant, booked but sat alone on a table in the wind in the car park out of the sun trap Didn’t feel at all welcome So it’s ok , they forgot one dinner( mine ) but the serving staff should explain , it’s ok ?? Let me know my food is coming !!! I have developed an addiction to the food and atmosphere I would travel an hour to eat here , and I do !!The staff are just fragrant and so friendly and to be honest .... and I like to eat out ... Best pub food in Britain Fight me !! I know!!! The chef must have a real passion to produce the quality of food on offer , yet to be disappointed with anything on the menu but the mixed grill , ribs , hunters chicken , Tacos are next level

Second time I have been here, bother time the food has been lovely. The staff here are lovely and very helpful. The food is served on hot plates and is hot. Onion rings to die for.

On Sunday we ordered 2 take away ploughman’s lunches absolutely wonderful definitely worth every penny look at the size of the cheese!

Since lock-down we have been overcharged twice on first visit , got bill amended initially only to find another error a few days later with an overcharge of about £6 for items not ordered. On second visit got both orders incorrect and on the final visit got the order wrong again with my wife's Hunter Chicken coming with bacon not asked for and my medium rare steak was well done with the chips overcooked. Will not be returning and we were regulars

Food average. Lunch menu appears to be largely from frozen. Good but desolate location. Helpful staff. Facilities clean.

The food there is always very good and the portions are generous. The desserts are good. The staff are very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere

Wide selection of tasty menu options. I opted for Romanian hotpot and i wasnt disapointed, i could smell the delicious aroma as it came towards our table. The owner was friendly, professional and accommodating. They have boxes of toys which kept our toddler entertained and her attention nicely focused on staying put near our table, than running off! Prices very reasonable, for the quanity and quality of dishes served. Fantastic little gem of a place.

Excellent food and excellent service, Elena and her team were very welcoming and helpful. I’d booked for a group of 20, which included vegetarian and gluten free and everyone was very pleased with their meals. We have been here before, and have already decided as a group that next years gathering will be here

Visited today and had a yummy seafood pasta lunch. Owners very friendly and welcoming and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend - there was a really good choice of specials and the pasta dish we had was very enjoyable.

When we arrived for our weekend away we grabbed a bit of lunch at this pub which was reasonably priced, they have outside seating which was perfect with the dog in tow. We went back again for drinks and the barmaids are all pleasant. On Sunday we had a roast and it was lovely.

On Sunday,We had the most delicious meals. The roast chicken &roast; lamb were superb. Crispy roast potatoes & various vegetables. I chose the rib eye steak,it simply melted in my mouth. Large portions,and needed to rest before the sweet! Staff couldn't do enough for us.

A great place to stop by if you are looking for a good meal anytime. Service is fast. Sunday roast was great some of the best yorkshires i have ever had, parsnips and potatoes were perfectly cooked and the meat juicy and tender.

Now this is what I call a fantastic lunch probably could food real potatoes fresh local vegetables decent sized portions and a great ale selection great value for money definitely worth a visit

This is one of the few pubs that is open all year round in the area. The staff are lovely and the landlord and landlady are wonderful. The food is great and well priced. They have regular events to entertain as well as a pool table and darts. Definitely worth a visit.

Visited here with my family. Food was nice enough and the whole place had a nice feel to it with little fairy lights and nice decor and a pool table.

We have booked a few times, for Sunday roasts and pizza's the staff are super attentive, nothing is too much for them, they truly are faultless, and the restaurant is very clean, i would only go here while we are in Leysdown, nothing beats it!

The food was amazing and was not expensive friendly staff and clean This was the best value and best meal we had all week on our holiday

Visited with friends whilst on a long weekend away. Fish and chips was lovely and couldn't fault it. Staff were very friendly and service was good. Lovely all round visit!

Visited here with 20 friend we all had a variety of meals every stater main and dessert we're excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid 27 pound each which was so good for the quality of food. Will definitely be going back soon. Just one small negative one friend had belly of pork with mash the pork was great but the mash was instant not good.

Been meaning to visit the Bay View for a long time and it certainly didn't disappoint. Choosing a Sunday lunchtime, we were tempted to order a roast dinner each. Both the pork and beef were exceptionally plentiful and very tasty, well presented, veg not over cooked and the freshly cooked roast potatoes certainly didn't go unnoticed. We also enjoyed a yummy dessert from the comprehensive menu which was equally enjoyable. The staff were both friendly and efficient in their service and nothing was too much trouble. Having heard only good reviews in the past, we shall no doubt be returning customers

I asked for a birthday Party for 65 people and got a magical evening!!! Eleanor and her team are amazing. The venue is perfect for any happy event and the food was outstanding and really reasonably priced........there is room to dance and be merry ....I cannot recommend The Bay View enough. This is where we and many of my friends and family will be holding our get togethers from now on. THANK YOU ELEANOR for an unforgettable birthday. Your are a star!!!

went here yesterday for a sunday roast, we had reserved a table as we know it gets busy.They do roasts from 12.00 til 5.00 but you can have other meaels from the menu.We had the roast pork which was very tastey and plenty of it.The roast potatoes and yorkshire was home made as was the gravey which was brought in a seperate gravy boat so you can puy your own on.Also a good selection of veg.It was a great dinner.You can choose from beef,lamb ,pork and chicken. the staff are very nice and seeing how busy it was made time to see if everything was ok and if you needed anything also child friendly with high chairs for the little ones. would go again.

Our first time here and WOW!! Best roast dinner I've eaten out to EVER!! And omg the Crackling with the pork!!

Six of us for dinner. All chose a different dish. All six dishes served piping hot and at the same time. Portion size very generous no room for afters!!!! Service second to none and oh so friendly. Will be returning to try a different dish. compliments to the chef.

Booked a table at the Bay View as we drive past regularly and it looked quite nice. Fantastic meal and atmosphere. Will definitely go again and its just down the road from us which is a bonus!

I would highley reccommend this bar/restaurant there was 4 of us all ordering different things to eat. We were all very impressed with out meals. There was such big portions, the ploughmans especially. The service was very good, the staff were very helpful and welcoming.

A good takeaway meal. Helpful staff and very reasonable prices. The food was tasty. Handy to take back to the holiday camp.

Popped in last night there were a few in the bar but the restaurant empty. There was not a great selection on the menu but my wife had hunters chicken and fish and chips for myself. Wife's came up first and it was massive mine came next served on a board with the chips and pea's in pots. I found the fish really dry and unable to eat the pea's. Staff were very helpful

A group of us were working on the Isle of Sheppey and needed to pre-book somewhere for lunch. The Bay View is a very old school pub but none the less there's plenty of seating and there needs to be because Sunday's are packed with people eating and its easy to see why. The Sunday roasts were a generous portion of potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, red cabbage, carrots, greens and in our case a serving of each of Lamb, Beef and Chicken. The meat was of good quality and not too dry. Gravy boats were not in short supply (Four for our table) and the service was good and the ladies extremely helpful. We were even asked if we wanted any more! This meal stood us in good stead to continue filming in the afternoon. £88 for nine of us was extremely good value and that included the soft drinks. Recommended.

This was the third visit to this venue. The staff are always polite & friendly. The pub is huge and can be a little chilly but the staff are always ready to supply a heater by the table. The food is alway tasty & hot. Out of the holiday season the pub is quite quiet at lunch time. The only thing is they are not open on Monday or Tuesday.

This is the fourth time we have been to this restaurant each time we have had a lovely meal always well presented. The meal was there in 15min. On the first visit they where having trouble with the oven but they bought us out a big plate of garlic and cheese bread and was so sorry. Would recommend this pub restaurant to anyone.

Good food (especially the mixed grill), good beer, great all round atmosphere and staff were extremely helpful. A real break from the normal pub crap that seems to be swarming England lately

In my opinion this friendly, roomy and lovely gastro pub does the best roast Dinner I've ever had value for money. The puddings are great too. Been there many times on a Sunday fantastic 👍

Visited this pub for lunch on a cold damp January day. The pub was pretty empty but it was out of holiday season. The staff a extreamly friendly and welcoming . The food was tasty hot and well presented. The prices are very good too. We will definatly return.

With a full restaurant the food is well cooked , hot , and well presented , this is the third function I have attended and the staff are efficient , friendly and alway smiling . Thank you Elena and staff for three enjoyable evenings .

We have eaten here on several occasions and never been disappointed. The starters mains and puddings are all great value....although you could never manage all three as portions are generous. Look out for the specials board! The staff are all very friendly and make you feel very welcome.

Despite it not being much of a bay view and from the outside just a normal public house this little find is a very warm, friendly place to visit for a snack, meal or Sunday lunch. I have only tried the Sunday Roast, but was very impressed with the size and quality of the meal and then the waitress returned asking if we needed more veg lol.

We've been eating here for three years.At first I was reluctant to go again,when the pub changed hands.What a fool I was,the food is first class.The staff are helpful and polite.Word of warning,the portions are so generous,you'd best leave the car,and walk home.

Just back from yet another meal in this lovely pub. The food here is so good. Freshly cooked. Generous portions. Even went for the dessert which I swore I wasn't having then couldn't resist. Elena and staff are always so friendly, and keen to place. Love this pub. My only problem is I wish it was closer to my home.

Have eaten there several times now and always a warm welcome. The staff are friendly and polite. There is always music on in the background loud enough to enjoy but not enough that you can't have a decent conversation with your company.

Spacious and comfortable dining area within this pub. Lovely friendly waitress who advised us there would be a wait but it was not too long. The food was good and we enjoyed our meal. Plenty of parking in the large car park. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which seemed a bit strange in August.

Booked for dads birthday meal Food excellent all came out together and piping hot just how my mum like it ! Very friendly lovely atmosphere will be going back for sure.

This place is great. A lovely restaurant, staff and good food. My son has a nut allergy and the staff were very helpful in what he could have and took his allergy seriously.

We called here on out last night at leysdown... And WOW the place is decorated beautifully throughout the pub...there was a rule that no under 14s could play on the pool table but the landlady was lovely and let our three girls join in, even though they were clearly under the age of 14 it had a lovely atmosphere and got busy quite quickly the food was absolutely delicious and had we of discovered it earlier we would have eaten there every night we were there!! Wish it was closer to home and we wish her all the best with the bay view! Xx

Told our friends this place was great but sadly let down. Starters served 50 minutes after table booked, we were told no scallops after 3 ordered them. Mains again waited a long time to then be told no steaks. When food arrived it was not great very disappointing.

We stopped off for an impromptu lunch whilst out on our motorbikes - a little dubious as the car park seemed empty. We were really pleasantly surprised, lovely friendly staff, the food was beautiful, well presented, and exceptional value for money. The place is huge, immaculate and really well decorated. A gem of a place that we would definitely return to.

What can I say - the staff were friendly , knew the menu and advised myself and partner on the food to perfection. We were only passing by chance and weren't sure if they did food - wow do they ever ! The best Hunters chicken I've had in years !!! What a gem of a location - I believe they also have live music - wish we lived closer

My mum, dad, auntie & niece all came to stay in my cabin for the weekend and we had such a nice time we decided to finish it off with a lovely special meal. I'd read good reviews on the The Bay View so I called and booked a table just in case and we all left to go have Sunday lunch.

Just been for our second meal in a week. Food is lovely and presented well. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Elena owner remembered us from week before and spent time chatting. Locals you need to get out and support this local pub. Me I'll be back on Friday

We have been visiting the Bay View recently since we heard there was new owners in town and can truly say we were amazed to find First class food in our local pub . Nothing is a problem for them serving lovely homemade dishes at very good prices . The staff are always smiling and make you feel very welcome . We will definitely be back very soon !

My partner and I decided to go for dinner, this is the first time we have been here and my goodness it was well worth the visit! The food was simply beautiful, excellent value for money, the staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome in a lovely atmosphere. Couldn't fault it. If you haven't been here before it you need to try it. We will certainly be going back to this little gem!

Popped in hoping we could get a Sunday roast and we were welcomed and shown to our table. Had a very nice white wine and a pork roast dinner with all the trimmings and apple sauce. The service was good and the dinner was lovely. The pub is clean and comfortable and we will deffinatly be returning ... Thank you

After a stressful day we called into The Bayview for a drink . We were warmly greeted and asked if we wanted to eat. The menu is varied and suggestions were made. The food and service was amazing, there is also an extensive wine selection to compliment the meal. The staff could not do enough for us, even though they had a large party sitting down shortly after we arrived and were getting busy, we did not feel rushed and I left feeling like a valued customer! I would definitely recommend a visit.
