Lovely friendly staff, feel so welcome every time we go. Good atmosphere too and nice a spacious pub and restaurant area always clean and tidy and beautifully decorated. love the electric darts and pool table and great music always playing. Deffo recommend this place if your looking to go out for a meal, or just some drinks in general 5 stars always thank you😁

We stumbled upon the Bay View Pub during a weekend on the Isle of Sheppey, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The location is absolutely perfect . We sat outside and watched the sun go down with a drink in hand… couldn’t have asked for more. The food was excellent – we ordered the fish and chips and a Sunday roast, and both were spot on: tasty, fresh, and generously portioned. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back – relaxed, friendly, and full of character. Whether you’re local or just passing through, I’d highly recommend making a stop here. Perfect for a casual lunch, a family meal, or just a drink with a view. Katie and Amelia were amazing and so welcoming. Will be definitely be coming back

Me and the family visited The Bay View pub yesterday to be together for an occasion. We sat outside in the warm weather for about 8 hours and had a great time! There are seats with sunshine and shade if needed. Everyone was very friendly, especially the owners Katie and staff, who were in a positive way checking now and again if we were ok or needed drinks etc. The food was really good, I personally had the Fish and Chips, which I would recommend, but all the food was presentable and decent portions in my opinion. Although I personally live in Essex, I look forward to coming back with the family, who will definitely be going back for Darts and other events. If you live on the Island, please do support local businesses. Thank you again Katie and staff!

Our first visit to Bayview Pub and we were all really impressed. Food was superb. Relaxed atmosphere and Kay the waitress was lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We went there Sunday since it finally opened near us. The food was so good could not fault it. Hats off to the chef that day considering how busy! Atmosphere and service was lovely and super friendly. Definitely coming back :)

We had a very warm welcome, Katie and the staff were lovely and very efficient. The food was delicious, we all had different dishes and were all agreed they were all superb. We will certainly be returning at a later date.

On a mini holiday this weekend. Bay view was very close to where we were staying, so we had dinner there. Right from the get go, the staff were amazing, the servers were absolute sweethearts and very attentive. Can't tell you how many times we've gone to places and been completely ignored the whole time, so this was a lovely change! The young lad, sorry didn't get his name, owned his job! The food was very nice. I had pie of the day, the only criticism was that, the pastry was soft, BUT it was still very good, and the mustard mash was amazing. My son and partner seemed to enjoy their food alot too. Biscoff cheesecake was amazing. Food did take a while to come out, but they were busy, so we didn't think anything of it. Speaking to the young lad, after his apologies for the delay, we were surprised to find out that the pub had just reoped with new management, (so were having teething problems) was so busy and relaxed, I never would have guessed it. Anyway! Was a lovely evening with good music too. Thank you!

Wow! Amazing refurb and enjoyed a beautiful meal from the new menu. Our group of 8 really enjoyed ourselves. 10/10 & will be back.

First day back open and had a lovely afternoon there. Lunch was great ! Some choices on the menu were not available, really just teething problems. So glad the pub is back up and running !

Good to see a good old fashioned British pub with entertainment. We booked a table for 3. Staff friendly and attentive. Realised it's their new opening night. They did a grand job. Food was very tasty abd reasonably priced.

Recently reopened after a refurbishment and a great atmosphere, which has been lacking due to the previous tenants, food and beers improved. Great time and looking forward to better times. Service is always very good and very friendly.

We found The Bay View whilst looking for somewhere to eat with a large group. The staff handled our table of 17 incredibly well with great service and lovely food. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and even brought us some chicken for our two dogs to share. They also had a really great gluten free menu with lots of different options from pastas to burgers. Very affordable and we really enjoyed our time. We would also like to say a big thank you to Darcy who organised our table booking and all of the food orders ahead of time! Thank you and we hope to visit again when we are back! 😁

Waited an hour and 30 mins for food and gave up they served people food who arrived after us and the only excuse they had was sorry we have one chef. No apology or anything. Do not recommend.

Never been here before but was very pleasantly surprised I’ve clean pub and immaculate restaurant with excellent service and really good food .. nice comfy surroundings.. Will definitely go back

Always a great meal here. Especially their Sunday roasts.

Pub has gone downhill rapidly. We are local and have used it many times over the the last 20 years. After the disastrous Xmas meal Dec/24, we have used it once since which was OK, but today we tried it again once more for our anniversary and the ribeye steak was 1/4" thick (certainly not 8oz) and the peppercorn sauce was like dishwater, My wife's scampi was also not very good. Will not be back ever.

Wow! So glad we found this place. I wish I lived closer,would come here all the time,food was amazing! All the staff were lovely,best meal for years and very reasonable price,mixed grill was cooked to perfection and huge portion,all 4 of us loved it here

Great for the regulars. Not bad for those just dropping in. Just a nice big pub where you can enjoy a pint of ale. There's a restaurant area which looks good, but I was just dropping in for a drink

Had a great night with the family. The staff who where serving us where very attentive, friendly and when my brother in law spilt coke all over his crutch they gave him a towel whilst his trousers dried on the radiator. food was next level and plenty of it. strongly recommend if your looking for a decent meal out

Very nice atmosphere, there is a pool table, darts, some video games . Nice beer on tap like Moretti, Stella Artois, unfortunately the food is not great and there is a very long wait . Had to wait 1 hour just for the starters to arrive even though there was just 2 seated tables ordering food .

This place belies it's position and the outside look of it. Essentially a pub with a surrealy decorated dining area which is a nice surprise. The decor keeps you guessing. The menu was really varied and excellent value. Service to begin with was a little strange. Rather than told to follow the waitress, she gave a little nod of the head in the general direction that we should go. A lad called Noah took over, and what a delightful individual he was and the polar opposite to the young girl that we first encountered but not to deride what was a very nice evening. Definitely worth a try

Fab, quirky pub! Food was lovely, staff lovely and very reasonable too. I wanted to buy almost everything in there. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back if we are ever back in Leysdown

My friends booked us a table at random and and we had a lovely time we started off at the bar we’re we got served straight away by a lovely lady with a great attitude we then went to our table and order our food the waitress was very easy to talk to and good at her job the food we all had looked amazing and it tasted amazing I’m such a fussy person when eating out and my food was perfect I had the mixed grill it was huge will definitely be coming back to try their roast dinners next thank you for a wonderful evening and great service

Food and service by Darcy were excellent. Prices as expected. All areas clean. Quiet as this was a mid week lunch. Brie, bacon and cranberry chiabatta with salad and sweet potato fries was excellent.

After being recommended, the bay view did not disappoint. Husband had chili chicken stirfry, i had hunters chicken. Cooked fresh to order, great portion sizes, beautiful tasting, friendly staff, looks lovely inside. Would recommended 👌

A lovely meal and the staff were lovely

Awful experience. Waited an hour for some nachos. The amount of oil left in my pasta is disgusting! The waiters were so unprofessional and didn’t really have a clue what was going on. It’s a shame as have had some good times here before but will not be coming back or recommending to anyone.

We were on holiday and tjought we would go for lunch we did not book a table so missed out on the roast but food was still next will go again.

Can not fault this place in any way. Superb staff food and drink. Staff go out of their way to find out things as my wife has a serious nut allergy and they could not do enough to help her I anyway although I have only marked the place as a five star I would actually give it 6 stars

A very pleasant place for a after tour drink on the island of Sheppey

This is a great pub to socialize and meet up with friends. There's a pool table and a dancing area and a stage for bands that play there some evenings. Their food is fabulous and reasonably priced, traditional English fayre, but some exotic dishes too. The only thing I wasn't so keen on was the decor, it was definitely different, but in my opinion dated and garish. I mean a Gunu's head with beady eyes staring down at you, placed over a Lemur printed wallpaper🤮! Besides that it's a great place to bring the family or have a cheap night out.

Very nice Pub, dogs are aloud outside! Food was very good and drinks nice and cold!

Really enjoyed our meal here today. We ate in an undercover area outside as we had our dog with us. Great service and great food.

Really tasty roast lunch. Lamb tender, delicious . Great tasty gravy. Potatoes large, savoury- gorgeous. Puddings indulgent -a very good thing. Well impressed and will be going back for more.

First time visiting the bay view on a work trip. Friendly staff, good service, menu had plenty of choice, one of my colleagues qualified for the senior citizen menu which was great value at £10 for two courses. Would eat here again if visiting the island.

Great food! We were very impressed with service and quality of the food! Well recommended! We will come back for sure.

The pub looks as though it could be very noisy and a bit on the rough side during crowded summer months. BUT, on a sunny October day it was quiet and pleasant and the food was definitely exceptional. Garlic prawns to start were superb, huge with bread to soak up the delicious sauce. A beef stew and two Hunters chickens were also very good, and dessert of raspberry roulade (very unusual for any pub I know) was beautiful and my friend's sticky toffee pudding enough for any gourmand. The waitress was extremely good, efficient and friendly, she is definitely a gem. Much recommended.

We had 3 baguets which came with a generous portion of chips and salad, plus a pint and 2 halves for a reasonable bill of £31. Barmaid was very friendly and helpful, so she deserves the 5* review.

Had a lovely sunday dinner beautifully cooked and a lot of it which was great but also didn't have room for pudding!

We called in for an evening meal after a day on the beach at Leysdown. Really good food, nice place to sit outside in the evening sun, great value and excellent service.

If you pass by ,you definitely need to stop and eat something, best food around, very friendly and I highly recommend it !!! Just love it !!!😍

Had Sunday lunch ? Rang in at 12 for a table at 5pm not told you have to order your meal there and then which was not even possible as three people weren't even down here. only to be told at 5pm no roast potatoes only mash then when dinner was brought out no mash but chips on plate not even told so we could have changed our orders. This is the problem with places that shut for days. Monday and Tuesday .and the food was bland chicken wings starter was swimming in oil and fat if the chicken was any good you couldn't taste it for the fat the only good thing was waiting staff

What a surprise!!! Wasn't expecting anything special as I was just passing on my way from the boot sale. The greeting was very welcoming which is as important as everything else. I had the lamb roast dinner with a cup of tea for £11.95. There was plenty of lamb which was cooked just right with no gristle or stringy peices, roast potatoes were perfectly cooked, but not overcooked to a crunchy husk. The dish also came with big fluffy Yorkshire pudding, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Not too crunchy and not too soft. This was served very quickly with no hanging around. For dessert I had a generous helping of chocolate fudge cake and custard which was £5. It was around 12.30pm and I was surprised the restaurant wasn't packed, it should be! I was in Leysdown the previous Sunday and this was hands down the best quality, service and value. Please note I am not affiliated to this business in any way and it is a genuine review.
