Absolutely wonderful place. Cosy atmosphere with log fire and warm cosy spots to sit over a drink and a meal. We had lunch fabulous fresh sandwich on Brown bloomer bread which tasted like it had just been made. The fillings were amazing I had the Aubergine and courgette with an amazing sauce. We also thought we would like some of the hand cut chips and OMG they were so tasty and definitely not to be missed. The other sandwich was a Bay Club - Chicken Parma Ham and tomato apparently delicious as well. Chicken very moist and very tasty. the sandwiches are served with a little dish of coleslaw which didn't disappoint. Service was great lovely friendly staff who served with a smile and made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to call again which is going to be Tuesday with my Vegan daughter and her baby, so looking forward to it; she will love the food and deserves a special treat.

This was my third visit to The Bay Horse and once again everything was great. Service, food, atmosphere. My friend and I both had the goosnargh chicken and it was delicious. I love the decor too and would definitely recommend to anyone .

Lovely pub . Great Eggs Benedict and coffee after a long walk. The service was extremely good .The food was nice the pub itself felt warm cosy and inviting. Haven't been in The Bay Horse for many years thought we would pop in and have a look as it's recently reopened. It is definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to go again in the evening with friends for a catch up. Thank you to all the staff Keep up the good work.

Lovely cafe with prompt service and friendly staff. Good menu, reasonable prices. Lovely display of artwork makes the place interesting and creative. What spoilt the meal for me was that my baked potato was almost cold. Such a pity as it was well presented with nice accompaniments.

Friendly local cafe with freshly cooked food. I had a large cooked breakfast with a pot of tea. Nicely done fried eggs, 2 sausages, black pudding, baked beans, three rashers of bacon with a good portion of mushroom. The icing on the cake was a portion of fried bread plus toast. I wish more places offered fried bread! Staff were very friendly and you can tell this is a liked local British “caff” as other patrons were welcomed whilst I was eating. Plastic tablecloths were clean and tidy, and my tea pot was topped up with hot water. Don’t expect the ritz, but do expect to be full when you leave. Worth a visit.

During the thirty years I visited, I never had a bad meal. The staff, Kieron and Linda were fantastic. I am so sad I shall not be able to visit there again.

Having booked a table in another pub in the village and found it wanting, we headed over to this one. It appeared that this was where the locals go, as it was busy compared to the other. Great range of beers and ales, unlike the other place that had one. Loved the pie and peas and came away with a very cheap bar tab... Thank you.
