The Battered Haddock in Kirklees

Ordered on line, which was very straight forward, in the morning for an evening delivery which arrived on time. The quality and quantity of the Fish & Chips was absolutely spot on and I shall be repeating my order on a regular basis.

Spot on when calling order in and delivery by friendly young lady. The fish and chips were absolutely gorgeous, cooked to perfection, mind I shouldn't be surprised because I use the Battered Haddock regularly

Rang in our order to pick up. The food was hot and very good quality. The fish was enormous with beautiful large flakes and the chips were in plentiful supply. Will certainly visit again for this good value delicious food. Also look forward to eating in the restaurant when we are allowed to.

One word Rubbish I was sick all nite long with your fish it was off greasy mess and I was repeating all nite long with bile sick never again

Tried eat well to order couldn't make sense of it . Rang direct gave order to pleasant lass and delivery time .order arrived only 2minutes late.really enjoyed it beautiful fish

Use here all the time food is good prices are really good. Definitely try the chilli when on menu is hot but amazing best in Cleckheaton

Once again beautiful fish and chips care of Steve, he always does my fish just as I like it with very little batter, and the haddock is first class. The staff are friendly and it’s lovely to see Steve behind the counter with a smile and welcome everytime😀👍

Really good quality and big portions, served with a smile. It's a 5 mile round trip for me to come here but it is worth it. The reviews speak for themselves. Keep up the good work Steve!

Went for a fish and chip meal. The staff (Becka) is so friendly,helpfully and dealt with our order quickly. Couldn't fault the food or service.

not had fish and chips for quote a while, so decided to have some after being away for the day. We were not disappointed, both fish & chips were very good, had been cooked to order so were fresh and hot.

It was very nice it took a while for the food to come but it was fresh and the staff are really friendly. I would go again.

Come every year. Lovely food. Chips lovely curry yum yum. Fish was nice. Staff always very happy and helpful. Lovely food. Clean and tidy. Would of give it a 5 star but staff had no uniforms on. Only thing wrong.

Freshly cooked with a delicious batter ( do not think about slimming !) all served with a smile from the owner Steve. Price is very reasonable if u want to eat in on offer are fish chips bread and butter and a large pot of tea. great value.

Popping into this fish shop with my mum used to be a treat we loved sitting up stairs with fish and chip and a cuppa looking out the window, we decided to go yesterday as its been a while. Well...... What a horrible experience.. Food wasn't anywhere near what it was before gravy tastes like washing up liquid and fryer/cook decided to burp very loudly as we were eating, we felt very unwelcome, its very disappointing the staff that are usually there are always welcoming and food is nice but this experience has put me and my mum off now we won't be back

had sit down haddock and chips with mushy peas----what a delight---crispy batter, white flaky fish--the best mushy peas have had in a long time--enough tea to sink a battle ship and all for just over 20 quid for 4 of us--do not miss the experience if in clecky.

This is not far from where I live and every time I go the staff are brilliant and the food is gorgeous.

i have called at this chippy a couple of times when watching football at liversedge fc. each time was met by lovely staff,the fish and chips taste great and portions plenty,if your in that area give them a go.

We only popped in for a bag of chips and ended up sat in having a full meal with a cup of tea. Lovely staff, the owner Steve, with an infectious smile, popped over to make sure everything was OK and a quick chat, great food and very reasonable prices. If you're in the area highly recommend going in.

Paid a visit between Christmas and New Year and really enjoyed a portion of battered haddock, chips and mushy peas. Thanks!

I regularly get a Fish Butty from the Battered Haddock on a Friday Lunch time it is always cooked fresh and tastes delicious.

Give up trying to find nemo get your self to the battered haddock . I am sure captain Birdseye would give this place the thumbs up .Really nice food and the young lady that served me Mandy was so helpful .I would go again and advise family and friends to go

Easily the best fish and chips I've had in Yorkshire after living here for 4 years, even better than ones in both Leeds and Huddersfield.

I regularly find myself in this chippy either on a dinner time with colleagues or with my family for tea. Having a lot of "chippy's" in our area, I have found this one is by far the best. Not just the food but the service! You are treat well as a customer and you can tell that they really value you for using them, which is hard to come by nowadays. Overall, reasonably priced, good portion size and amazing quality fish and chips, with the facility to eat in! They also have very good opening times!

Food of a high standard at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit if fish and chips with a pot of tea and bread and butter is your desire. Two of us had a tasty supper for the price of a take away down south! Not posh, just good value. Go and support these guys you will not be dissapointed!

Went the other day, food was nice, custumer service was outstanding, I would definitely go again, my favourite is the sausage, chips and gravy.

This is a cracking little fish shop serving traditional fish and chips, it sells the usual things and free parking is available in the carpark a few hundred yards away, if you like fish and chips try this place.

We just love the fish and chip meal deals at Battered Haddock. Fish cooked to perfection, service good and staff very friendly. The 'Fish n a few' deal with peas / curry, bread and butter plus drink for less than £4 is money well spent in their little restaurant. Give it a try!!

Been loads of times to this great find!! Steve the owner is very friendly as are the other staff, very decent price cheapest around but the quality of fish n chips is second to none. There's seating up and down stairs. Top place for my fish n chip Friday's highly recommended!
