The Bath Inn in Nottingham

A pub in Sneinton with some of the best memorabilia displays I've seen in a pub recently. Plenty of seating space.

Calling the Bath Inn a “pub” is like calling Nina Simone a “singer”. I don’t know what it is. A cultural landmark? A hat palace? The ghost of a 1960s TARDIS? Van Gogh’s memorial? Whatever it is, it has the most amazing atmosphere, super beer cellar, and a world class whisky and whiskey selection. The locals are not bad either. The landlord can do his own PR, and completes the evening. Grab the 39 bus and get down there!

Very nice refurbishment obviously spent a lot of money. A bit out of place for the area which the price's reflect. Good level access with disabled toilets of the same level, not very good for parking though.

Gorgeous pub with wonderful, friendly staff. I’ve never seen so many hanging baskets full of flowers outside a pub before, it looks lovely. I left my jumper there and they are kindly posting it back to me in London. Thank you!

Vintage Ecclectic pub in Sneinton. Very much an underrated pub. Great selection.

This is a lovely bar in not such a lovely area . Plenty of choice but it's not the cheapest. Two pints ,a half cider and a glass of prosecco £25 plus change. I am told the prices are to keep the riff raff out but don't quite me on that.But like I said it's a lovely pub,great atmosphere,great decor,the staff are always pleasant and if you can afford it I would definitely recommend it.

I really liked this pub. Was particularly busy due to Nottingham Pride, but the staff were still helpful and happy. Good choice of beers. Loved the TARDIS door and the Tutankhamen!

A quirky little pub, with fabulous decor. Fabulous music too. Sadly cannot say the same about the pricing nor the "vibes". As non regulars, we didn't feel particularly welcome and we were inclined to think the price for two drinks (over 20 pounds!!) was due to this. Worth a visit to have a look... but beware, it isn't cheap!

Great pub with a casual and relaxing ambience. If you like, a background of jazz, unusual and exotic furnishings, polite and friendly bar staff and good beer then head for The Bath Inn.

This place just better and quirkier every time I go in. Excellent pint of porter on cask with great beer selection. Very busy when I went in. Lively friendly atmosphere.

It smells awful. Many years of stale ale lingers in the air as part of the fixtures and features. The exterior is nice, but the interior is just sickly 🤢🍺

A hidden gem, very nice place to sit and socialise.

Visited recently when in the area and from the outside and in fact as you enter, this is a very nice public house. I would say on interacting with the staff and especially the management the customer service is nowhere near the standard the place deserves - shocking…..

Fantastic boozer near Sneinton Market. The decor is amazing and a great way to entice you in. They have a great selection of drinks on offer, I was particularly taken with the whisky choices - of which there are many! Well worth a trip and I'm sure you won't regret it.

An absolutely beautiful pub which is sadly let down by the landlord. We would visit fairly often but have now decided to steer clear after feeling very unwelcome. It’s a shame as a lot of other people who live locally have said the same thing and that their custom does not feel as appreciated as the men that sit at the bar with the owners full attention all evening. He was also quite rude to my friend a while ago, I’d just been to the bar to buy our first drink and took them back outside where we were sat. She then went inside to use the bathroom and was immediately told the toilets were only for customers. It’s such a shame as it’s so lovely but there are much better places nearby where you’re always greeted with a smile (try The King Billy, Liquid Light or The Fox and Grapes instead).

Wow! Well decked out with interesting pieces, Art Deco, Steam punk. Loved the decor, all around. It was quite dark and moody, and it was hard to talk, shouty style. I'm definitely going back. I'm not sure about food. Chorizo Crisps were yummy.

Wonderful!! A real gem close to the city centre. If this were somewhere like West Bridgford, it would be 50% more expensive. Atmosphere is without compare, the owner cares and the whiskey selection is unbelievable

Lovely atmosphere and wonderful decor. Nothing like old Bath Inn. Jazzy speak easy vibes and low soft music. Various speciality alcohol and familiar brands too. Mega friendly and helpful attractive staff always up for a bit of banter. Dog friendly. Mixture of customers and lots of interesting objects scattered tastefully around the premises. No food served but good takeaway close by. Definitely recommend a visit.

1st time here but loved it. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere.

Oh dear. This pub is wonderfully instagramable - you’ll want to steal some of the decor - but there are fundamental issues. Alongside a decent selection of local and premium beers, the bar is crowded, the bar manager/landlord often seems to be high on his own supply, and the layout has been badly thought out. It has a faithful, but I would imagine that if they fail to get seats at the bar, and this block out everyone else from easily getting a drink, they’d go elsewhere. Lots of indoor vaping and I’ve seen a fair bit of drug exchanges within its walls. The selection of beers is all that earns it it’s stars as far as this reviewer is concerned

What an amazing place well worth a visit, decent ale friendly staff and a very quirky place highly recommended.

Trying to be something it's not, completely out of touch and out of price (and mind) . AVOID pompous owner shame because it does look nice inside, completely overpriced for normal drinks standard in any venue

A fabulous place! Great atmosphere and style, good beers/drinks, and friendly staff. Brilliant music! And what a superb landlord...he does regular insta posts and this time he had bought a ton of oysters and was giving them away! Can't recommend it highly enough.

I have no idea about the food, just had some drinks while attending the group event. The atmosphere of this pub is likeable, although the event was very crowded, could barely move around. I have been served by a very handsome bartender, would be happy to come back just to see this pretty face 🙈

Best just to go once that's enough.

I popped in last week for a pint. It was so quiet but the bar man was incredibly friendly. Lovely inside with really chilled out music. The toilets were clean and well presented. A really quirky lovely little pub

Good & different decor. Good & fair selection of real ales. Music is set for the mood of the pub but is often too loud & intrusive.

Awesome place, had some nice mood setting jazz playing in the background and lovely polite bar staff. Really nice interior as well, hats off.

Sadly the staff was rude and looked very unhappy. Atmosphere was none existent which is a shame as it looked like a great wee pub. Maybe we went on the wrong day. 🤔

RIP off pub charging £1:80 for a very small bottle of coke. No wonder there is no customers

What an absolute gem of a place, quirky but not gauche, The Bath is decorated in a way that defies description and has to be seen. Think 1930s James Bond villain boudoir with saucy seaside kitch. That's not what it's like, but I'm doing up my back bedroom and wanted to see what you thought. Please go to The Bath, its ace.

Great little pub, really quirky and love the decorations. Toilets have a police box and all the animal portraits everywhere. Definitely coming back

A cracking pub, art deco style with a nod to the Egyptians .. quirky Interior decor including realistic London Underground steps downstairs to the toilets. 3 draft beers available, good selection & kept 'tip top' .. Pub owerner Piers was friendly and informative about the history of the pub.. Well worth a visit, I'll be back 👏

Well this was a surprise. What a whacky pub. You have to visit just to see the decor. A TARDIS and a swimmer hanging from the ceiling! Good selection of drinks and not overly priced. Good friendly atmosphere.

Lovely decor and love how they provide free feminine products, downsides are having to fight through a group of ten drunk rowdy blokes stood round the bar to get to the toilet( bit compromised for space) and No wheelchair access

Outstanding pub. Hospitable landlord, well kept beer and good selection. And, what a wonderful ambience. Superb lighting, snugs, interesting furnishings. The whole pub wraps itself around you and gives you a big, welcoming, hug. Superb.

A stand out pub in the up-and-coming area of Nottingham, called Sneinton. Exquisitely decorated, well kept beer and well managed by a gentleman of a landlord. Recommended if you're down that way for a pint before a meal in Hockley.

Great independent pub oozing character with a good selection of beers. Love the quirky decor which adds to the overall experience. A definite for anyone wishing to escape the clutches of corporate chains.

First time but got to say was a pleasant surprise. Not the cheapest but the staff are friendly, deco interesting and music was great. I would definitely recommend it.

I remember this place boarded up for years so it was a shock to see it refurbished. Fabulous decor, great selection of whiskies and a very friendly landlord. Highly recommended.
