Been using this place since it opened many years ago and always visit when I'm in the area

Great hidden little pub! So much character. The food was amazing, we stopped for lunch and then came back for a pint later that evening. Both times the service was incredible.

Interesting Fullers pub with good range of cask beers. Several levels to sit at and underneath the arches right next to the river. Comfortable seating, efficient staff

Norbert made the time here an amazing experience! He went above and beyond to treat us with care, appreciate the wildness of our two toddlers, and treated us with respect and kindness. Wonderful atmosphere and food.

Guinness should be poured better.

Decent spot under the bridge with river views. Food was decent, a bit on the pricier side but overall good! Patio can't be beat

We found the Banker on a walk along the riverside and had drinks outside. There was a nice atmosphere and we appreciated the blankets provided. Later we returned to have after dinner drinks and play pool. We had just finished our first drink, when they announced they were closing at 10pm, which was around 20-30 minutes later. This was a bit of a shock as there were quite a few people in the pub and it was a Friday night!! As another group had arrived especially to play pool, we let them have the table and left, which was a shame as we would have stayed longer had we been able to.

If you're looking for a great place for lunchtime this is hard to beat. Especially on a sunny day with sun-trap terrace overlooking the Thames. Nice under-the-arches vibe inside too.

The Banker is a fantastic place, always good food and good service and good times.

I was here for a private party. This is a gorgeous space right on the Thames. Food was excellent for pub food. The point here is being in a gorgeous pub with river views.

A very good place, calm, good service, without a lot of people, but I think that i went in a time that no have much people. Easy to arrive. I’m tourist and find this place riding a bike. The accommodations is very good, the bar too.

Hidden Gem! Spent a lovely sunny Friday afternoon at The Banker enjoying a small family reunion. Really lovely venue in a great location. The staff were fabulous, very friendly, welcoming and attentive. We all enjoyed our visit. The food was great and there was a good selection of drinks. A fabulous find, would definitely recommend and return.

Well we visited this lovely pub in the peak hour. Even during this time, the food was amazing!! Highly recommended

A hidden tavern that ticks the boxes but feels missing. There's huge potential to tap in this riverside, under rail arch hideaway for city locals. Loads of riverside street drinking outside high vaulted ceiling drinking hall. There interesting space features like the mezzanine, riverside vaulted spaces and a vault. The trains rattle overhead for good character and there's some railway cafe styled seating. There's incredibly dirty high stool seating and a strange display counter where you'd expect the bar to extend. It's a small bar but good selection, with an interesting pint. It's brick everything but this fits the style and there's some characterised pictures alongside typical modern pub apparel. It's a good crowd getaway, hideaway but a little pub by numbers vibe in a fantastic space.

Well located Fullers pub on the North side of the Thames, right on the River. Steps nearby go down to the foreshore, always good for a mooch at low tide. Lots of nooks & crannies inside and some decent outdoor seating in a midday sun trap facing south. My pint of ESB was on fire! 👍

Stopped by on a Friday evening for a drink after work. Great friendly team, good drinks with an interesting tonic machine. Definitely worth popping in.

The chips are probably the best I've had while in England, the burger was quite decent and being able to sit under the bridge right on the river is great.

Terrific spot under London Bridge, the food and drink is nothing special and the prices are fairly high but the interior and unique view of the river makes up for that :)

Very crowded on Friday evening. It took us around 45 minutes to get our drinks. Atmosphere was vibrant, nice crowd. Will visit again.

Waiting staff wasnt very service minded, and honestly didnt seem to like their job. The food was okay-ish.

I visited the Banker late in the afternoon, there were few people there so, the atmosphere was not electric but it did mean I could get a seat overlooking the river plus, of course, Fullers beer is my favourite.

Great place to have drinks but it gets busy so best to reserve a table if you can.

Dropped in as part of a stroll round. The Rugby-themed pint of Pale was magnificent, and I'm not Fullers greatest fan, but credit where it's due.Glorious.

A very typical pub, perfect for stopping for a beer. Not far from London Bridge it serves as a stopover for walkers.

Usually full so it's hard to find a seat. A bit overpriced. Not the best pub I've been to.

Had a great lunch watching boats going up and down the river. Service was excellent and we were looked after very well Sausage sharing platter was especially good on a cold winters day

Nice Fullers pub with river views (though largely the underside of Cannon Street rail bridge). An unusual spot with tasty beers including dinner interesting guests and the food was good but not exceptional. I must admit I found the place to be chilly when I was there in December though. Needs cosying up a bit!

Nice pub but beer is a little pricey

Gets very busy on Thursdays, but staff are quick to serve. Some good cask ales on the pumps. Good atmosphere and the inside layout is interesting.

Good pub made famous for the closing scene from the Hollywood film Mission impossible. The layout does feel like a movie set. You can imagine being on a boat in the middle on the ocean with the pubs excellent view of the river. It can be a bit hard to find from bank station so suggest you get off at cannon Street where is a short walk. The food and drinks are reasonably priced for London and its super tasty.

Came here for a couple of drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The pub was very quiet with only a few tables in, but that's to be expected at this location. That being said, the pub was clean and the staff efficient. The best thing going for the pub is the view of the Thames under the railway bridge watching the world go by. I would return.

Great pub hidden away under Cannon St. station. Found it by chance about 10 years ago and always pop in if I'm in the area. Proper London prices mind you. £7.80 for a 4% session IPA was a shock on this visit.

Went on Wednesday 30th August with a friend for the Campari pop up and had a great time. Bustling atmosphere and great service particularly from our waiter Norbert who was very attentive and great to chat to. Will be returning again, thanks Norbert for your hospitality!

Reserved the balcony area for a private event and it was great! The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was good having service from the upstairs as well. It was great with the pool table too! Would recommend this pub for reserving areas as it’s always done well. Thank you for a successful night!

Grumpy waitress, multiple kinds of beers we tried to order weren't there. Why do you have them on your menu then? Dirty glasses. All = no tip + bad review

Great little hole in the wall. Great view of the thames. Steak pie was really good. The 1/2 chicken is very tasty, highly recommend. Staff are nice and friendly. No discounts available. Clean toilets.

Good food, good view, and excellent service. We met up for a midweek lunch and were seated immediately, order taken and meal served in timely manner. Would go again but make sure you get there early or you may be late for work.

It’s a bit pricey but the views from the beer garden into the Thames are amazing, especially if you sit on the steps that lead directly into the Thames. We were served by Angelo who was friendly and helpful!

Lovely little pub by the river with quick friendly service (significantly better than the Oyster Shed further along the river!) Though, that being said you might find yourself in trouble if your wife goes to the loo, changes her dress and literallyEVERYONE in the pub but you notices!!

We enjoyed a nice lunch here. Great location. The patio was perfect to enjoy a light lunch and a couple beers.

Was really looking forward to enjoy a pint with stunning views over the river Thames. After the bartender poured me a pint, he reminded me that the pub will close in 5 minutes (6PM) 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is a such a good pub to go to on the river - slightly away from things so not as busy as others. Drinks are same prices as everywhere and service is fast as have enough people behind the bar unlike most!

Lovely pub on the north bank of the Thames with a great terrace overlooking the river. It can get busy here during the evenings when the city crowd for for after-work drinks. During the day it’s quite peaceful and you’ll be able to get a good table and food. Clean toilets. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff.

Great selection of drinks, and the food is top. We always try to get seats that overlook the Thames.

Went here after work on a Thursday, it was really busy but the bar staff did an amazing job at getting through the queue efficiently whilst still being able to provide great recommendations for beers to try. A Well run bar and as a result a very pleasant visit.

Another great Fuller's pub. Good beer and a great pub. River views albeit from underneath a railway bridge. Pool table and board games available upstairs. The chicken wings were amazing. And huge too. They were like the wings you get in America.

Can get busy, but otherwise not a bad pub. Decent range of beers, small outside patio overlooking the river.

Exceptional place, tasty food and friendly staff! We've had Buffalo Chicken and sweet potato chips and it was absolutely delicious. And pint of London Pride was very satisfying.

If you frequent UK pubs you'll know what to expect of a Fullers pub, the food and drink selection doesn't vary from the norm, and decor-wise it's all pretty traditional. The location of this particular venue gives it a selling point above other Fullers pubs, and above most other pubs in the area. In the summer the outside seating next to the Thames is a huge draw, and in the winter, the arched ceilings and multilevel flooring, with windows looking out under the bridge, create a large, but cozy and atmospheric space in which to enjoy a few drinks.

Great location. Could do with tuning the heating on. Went there this afternoon it was colder in there than is was outside. Such a shame

The place looks nice well decorated. The staff was very quind and professional. And the expresso coffe was actually very good!! I am looking to come back in a sunny day because the area outside it looks amazing. Recomended ;)

The Banker is located at the bottom of Cousin Lane which is just off Upper Thames Street, Cannon Street is the closest tube station. The most picturesque way to get here is to walk along the Thames path which leads away either side of the pub. . One thing London is very good at is making good use of space and this place is no exception. This pub is built into a railway arch under the tracks that feed in to Cannon Street station. Either side of the entrance there are two patio spaces, if it’s a nice day the raised patio is the place to be as it has lovely views over the Thames. . As you enter the pub you’ll find a cavernous vaulted bar area with a few poser tables and diner style booths. Off the main bar there are two tunnel like arched seating areas that lead to a seating area overlooking the river. . This is a Fuller’s pub so you know the beers, wine and spirits are going to be top notch. I opted for a pint of Asahi, my pint was great and well received on this hot August day. There’s loads of hearty pub grub available here, Fish & Chips costs £17.15. . I stood outside with my pint and watched the coming and going’s of life on the Thames. The patio’s were packed so I stood over by the steps that lead down to the river, this is a great place to chill as the river laps up below you. . The @the_banker_fullers is a wonderful pub that’s full of character and a little bit of something different. Did not eat here. Great patio right on Thames River! Get on the patio on a nice day and watch the river. Pub is dark and cavernous, but patio is great on a nice day. According to sign nearby, it may be a bit dodgy at night?
