The Balti Express in Tandridge

Last time I order. Wet soggy chewy nan, small meat portions in cold Rogan j, horrible. I ordered from these guys about 5 times in last 18 months. Last two times have been poor, today last straw.

I ordered the food at 7.45 was told it would be delivered by 8.55 and eventually arrived at 9.20pm. It was also cold and the popadums chewy so had clearly been with the driver for quite a while. Haven’t tasted it yet as still reheating it!! Not impressed but they’re usually really good so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt this time.

Rice was wrong was definitely not plain as ordered. Poppadoms was broken didn’t even look like there was a whole one in there. Tikka started was spicer than it usually is and drier and also smaller , have ordered from here before and was good but disappointed with this one

Only issue was missing my poppadoms woudnt have been a problem but I brought the sauces aswell

very enjoyable again thank you. tried another new dish from the chefs specials which was fantastic. happy with the usual order. delivery is great as usual, wish I could tip the driver when ordering or after on justeat cause I never have cash and delivery is always so friendly.

The vegetable Dansak did not taste good at all. It was like some very essential ingredients was missing. We have vegetable Dansak every time we order Indian and also every time we order from Balti Express, so we know how it supposed to taste like. But todays order was a disappointment and not nice at all unfortunately.

Lamb meat was so tough I was still chewing it the next day. For £93 I was extremely disappointed containers half full ,no extra dishes and no poppadoms as a curtesy side .

Used these guys for over 10 years and quality and piece is always good and consistent

Food is generally great here and the delivery driver is always very friendly, I expect he recognises us as we order every week or two. My only criticism is that the poppadoms are very hit and miss, they can be quite chewy instead of fresh and crispy, which is disappointing given they are 90p each.

Delivery time on first try late, but replacement order When delivered direct from shop ( not kept long in delivery car ) food was excellent, food that should crisp on out side and hot in middle, and those in tubs turn up hot and delicious, food no problem. When arrives on time and Hot straight from shop.

Food good as it usually is, but ordered large Sag Paneer and large garlic veg and both came in small side order trays! So we were short of food as these were for sharing for 4 people. Otherwise great!

The food is consistant, flavourful and hot on arrival. Easily one of the best in the area!! Will be ordering for many years to come.

Sadly on this occasion not so good. We were entirely missing the Sag Aloo which we paid for and the Paratha’s were very under-cooked and doey. Lamb in the dansak was tough! Poppadoms were not best either. Early delivery also caught us on the hop! Sorry folks, usually excellent but a fail on this occasion.

First time I have used this company and unfortunately it will be the last. Chicken balti was a Madras, the Korma was very watery and the Nan was so dry it was not edible. I was very disappointed as I had received good recommendations about this establishment but it was a real let down.

How do I get a refund I have been over charged for Items ordered more than once ?

I ordered tandoori chicken half, got two legs, 3 roti, they were rock hard, like crackers/cardboard, daal, was okay. Not the best, roti I don't think I should have paid for such items. Disappointed overall.
