The Avon Brewery Inn in Wiltshire

We here with a few friend on a Saturday night....They were doing a monthly karaoke night it was so much fun we ended up staying all night cant wait for the next one. Staff were great some very good drink and shot offers available think this could be our new local haunt.

Great visit and a lovely pint. We didn’t eat but we saw lots of food going out and it all looked and smelt wonderful ! We will be back

Popped in on a Wednesday for some food and had a lovely surprise that they offer 2 for 1 on main meals on a Wednesday! We all had something different but can definitely recommend the burgers and the ribs! They offer loads of drink offers too which is perfect for a get together with friends. Dog friendly and a lovely beer garden next to the river! The garden has recently been done up and looks lovely providing a good vibe!

Had a wonderful reunion here, the bar staff were very friendly and christina could not of been more helpful, will almost certainly be returning soon.

Lovely pub the bar staff were very attentive and friendly, Christina remembers our drinks From the first order, nothing was too much for her.

Last night we had one of the best times in ages, the Avon is a very friendly pub and the bar staff are second to none, Christina was exceptional nothing was to much. A fantastic employee, lovely way about her from manners to her smile.

Amazing pub with reasonable prices and a huge garden. Pool table was the reason we went in originally and stayed as the bartender Rich made us feel so welcome we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else. Recommend highly

Wir sind hier am Spätnachmittag auf ein Bier eingekehrt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Eine prima Bierauswahl und ein netter "Biergarten" haben uns einen schönen Aufenthalt beschert. Allerdings sei erwähnt das der Lokalname etwas irreführend ist, da es vor Ort keine eigenen Biere gibt.

We parked outside this pub today. It's got a lovely old frontage with tiles. However , It's dirty. The windows are covered in posters, and the pavement and gutter is thick with old cigarette ends. Not an inviting sight

Met up with friends and had a great time singing Karaoke where I sang Nights In White Satin (Moody Blues).

Visit regularly with friends and family, Jayden the chef always goes the extra mile with us. A fav of mine to visit for lunch and dinner. Always a great atmosphere and friendly staff 😊

Had a really nice meal with family in this pub! We were even able to take our dog! The staff are extremely friendly and the chef is a great cook! Will definitely be visiting here again, thank you everyone for a great experience and amazing food!

We eat here as a family quite regularly, the roast dinner is amazing, the staff are lovely, so accommodating, there is always a friendly crowd, and great atmosphere.

We popped into the Avon during the week, and decided to have something to eat which we haven’t yet done here. We both had the sea bass from the Specials menu (a nice treat) and it was lovely! Cooked to perfection, and the accompaniments worked brilliantly; especially the asparagus and French dressing. Super service too, with a friendly smile - we’ll be back!

Popped in for a spontaneous lunch with the husband. The pub had a great atmosphere. Friendly staff. And the food was amazing with a great selection on the menu to choose from. Would defiantly recommend going

We have just had lunch here, we prebooked as it was a large party (7 adults and 6 children), some of us have gluten and dairy intolerances, which were catered for, we were given our own room, the service was very good as was the food, the steaks were excellent. Highly recommend and will definitely be going there again.

Clean glasses!... Good Beer... Well kept pool table... Well light dart bord... Excellent out door seating area, with outdoor heating lamps! Humble landlord Happy Staff. Comfortable place to have a drink.

We called in whilst visiting Salisbury on spec. Had a lovely pint of razorback, good service lovely and warm. Unfortunately no food on the day as they were preparing for a party, shame.

We had a lovely roast dinner here on Sunday. Generous portions of meat, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings with all the trimmings and gravy. Separate dish of vegetables and a gravy boat. Tasted delicious too.

A nice pub in a quieter part of Salisbury. Opened out, with plenty of seating inside and out. Good selection of beers and friendly staff.

Hi I went here on the 23rd of September to listen to a live band of which was fantastic, the pub had a friendly vibrant atmosphere with excellent staff, the pub also offered a good late night menu and also a great outdoor patio seating area with good lighting and heaters, definite worth a re visit 👍

The lovely pub has a great view from the garden of the river, outside seating and heat lamps. The Staff are friendly and welcoming. The food was great value and very well cooked and presented. They host a lot of events such as live music, and summer parties. It's a real must.

What a find! The staff were polite, friendly and attentive. Service was very fast. The food was lovely and when I had a complaint about my dish, it was immediately replaced with a freshly cooked one. I would highly recommend visiting this Salisbury gem

Food was amazing ! went here on a Wednesday night and it was two for one !! during the cost of living crises going out is hard but with this deal I had a lovely meal with my partner for only a few pounds and the quality was outstanding and the staff were amazing .

Popped in on Monday with a mate and had a few ales as they were on special offer at only £2.70 a pint. The beer was good as was the pub, which had a friendly feel with decent bar staff. A good place to chill out for an hour is so.

Lovely lunch spot just out of the centre. I had one of the chefs specials it was excellent Cottage pie and fresh veg....i will definitely be revisiting. Keep up the good work

Quiet when we visited. Excellent service and food. Friendly locals and bar staff.

Went in to sample the local drinking offering and sadly had a bad experience. Walked in and asked to sample a new cider i hadnt tried before and got told to "make my mind up". Needless to say I didnt order a drink. It wasnt too much to expect a small sample - either way i would have had a drink. Will not be returning

Stopped in while hoping to try a local brewery. The first thing you should know is this is in fact not a brewery but a pub. That was a little disappointing. That fact aside, the bartender was friendly and helpful, and we passed a pleasant hour here.

Very friendly staff, some regulars were there which were just as friendly. We had Sunday roast, which was very tasty. Great staff, hearty food, beer, great ambience, what else can you ask for?

Excellent venue for a Friday night out with live music featuring Paper Moon 60's Duo. Great range of beers, spirits etc. Very helpful and friendly staff (Thankyou Mark). Marvellous! 👏👏👏👏

A gem of a public house/Inn. Was shopping in Salisbury and visited a friend when I noticed Karaoke was on in the evening. I went along and bumped into Dave Secretary of Royal British Legion in Endless Street. Sang Through The Barricades, Spandau Ballet. Had a fantastic evening in a very friendly traditional/historic pub of days gone buy. Great value food and drink. So looking forward to next event but will also visit with friends in the mean time. We had read about the pub and like real ales. We were disappointed as although advertises brewery, in the name, there were no Avon beers. We had food, hubby had a burger which he enjoyed. I had the Hunters chicken, although cooked the chicken was not hot, although saying that it was tasty. There was a guy playing fetch with his dog in the walk way, suppose 1 way to walk dog

Attended a wake here. Bar staff very kind, sells Fosters which is a bonus! Lots happens here like karaoke, Sunday roasts etc. Has a room out the back for private functions that leads on to a beer garden. Cosy little place and £3.60 roughly for a pint of Fosters.

Lovely cosy little pub , very welcoming, delicious food and a great choice would recommend this place for a nice drink or a bite to eat

Had a work Christmas Dinner at Avon, was a great experience and the food was lovely! Had our own room at the back even while the Football was on! Was very well organised and felt incredibly valued as a customer.

I had my dads 50th birthday party at the back of the pub for friends and family on Saturday night. I’ve never hosted or thrown a surprise party before. And The owners, workers and managers were all incredible. From booking the party all the way to the night.. they were consistent, helpful and lovely to get to know. They cleaned up for us, bunting etc included and left me bits to collect if I wanted the next day. Such friendly people! I’d recommend a private party here 100%! Thank you for a Lovely evening, one to remember :)

A true pub experience at an affordable price. Riverside garden a great spot to be in the nice weather. Plenty going on from the events board displayed in the function room too!

A real-people pub with plenty of atmosphere and regulars who seem like good sorts but swear like sailors. If you don't mind the soundtrack there is a good burger-and-beer special on Wednesday. A pint of nicely poured Carlsberg could be had for three pounds Monday to Thursday. I shall certainly return if I ever get back to Salisbury -- with earplugs, just in case.

Have been in for drinks a few times now, seems very friendly, toilets clean, garden out to the river..we don't have a local, but if we were/are to adopt one this will probably be it despite the walk home.

One of the few pubs found open in Salisbury, (..it's Sunday). I was struck by the Razorback offer from the Ringwood brewery, which unfortunately I won't be able to visit because tomorrow we move further south to Cornwall. Intimate place with a very familiar atmosphere. Excellent beer prices.

The food was fantastic with a choice between chicken, beef or pork for Sunday lunch. The owner went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had a lovely time. All the staff there were fantastic. 10/10 will be coming again!

Got a couple of house burgers that came w/ chips, colesaw, a side salad and some salsa. The chips must've been the best ones i've had in the past couple of years. The pints were nice and the prices very good. Would reccomend

The pub is very friendly with all locals joining in with having the crack every time I go in for a pint, all bar staff efficient as they also join in the laughs and banter especially Sheri when she works.

Came to the Avon for a quiet drink and was greeted by emily who was very polite and helpful. I highly recommend this pub and the extremely friendly staff and service will be definitely coming back
