We thought it was very good, there was a nice selection of vegan dishes. The service was nice, the food was delicious, we would come again.

Whilst looking for something to eat in Chippenham we came across this venue. Nice atmosphere. We ordered some tapas and a flat bread which were ordinary, nothing special. The flatbread needed warming as it was cold when served. It looked a bit ‘grubby’ and the table we sat at would have benefited from a good clean. Okay but not great, not somewhere I would revisit.

I was in the area and meets up with friends, ended up here for some cocktails and food. Popular with the locals, got busy during the night. Very helpful staff. You can order on your table just scan the qr code or order on the counter.

Popped in on my own for brunch. Lively atmosphere, friendly staff, exceptionally quick service, nice vibe, very nice decor, a bit funky. And most importantly: very good brunch. Would recommend. Thanks : )

It's a nice place for having some food and drink. It's pretty wacky inside, which really adds to the overall experience. Good coffee really is a plus and I will visit again, for sure. The burger and chips was gooood.

Tried a couple of table both had lumps of dirt with hair stuck on them. Suspect the cleaners are stacking chair on tables to mop floors. I don’t know but I was not willing to sit at tables in this condition so left. It’s a good place and I will definitely go back just hope someone reads this and takes action.

The good thing about lounges is that you can get something to eat, or to drink, or both, without being pressured to do so by staff. This one is on two floors. My friends and I love it.

Stopped here on the way to Wales for brunch, Tables are well spaced and service was quick despite them being in the process of putting up their xmas decs, Place was reasonably busy at approx 11 am Coffee was good and reasonably priced

Worst leek and potato soup ever had by me. Tasted of floury water. Flavour less glop with a huge sprinkling of pepper on top. So was a peppery glop.

Went with friends who have two small children - the Lounge was the perfect venue choice! The staff were really lovely not just to the adults but to the kids as well, offering them colouring pages, toys and checking with them directly that they were happy. The duty manager in particular (17th November) was amazing, even down to offering a choice of cup colour and thinking to get a child-friendly soft spoon for their ice-cream. On top of that, the food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed, so had a brilliant time.

Rivo is my all time favourite place to go for anything at all! The atmosphere is great, got a lil bit of mood lighting which we love, the food is amazing as is the service, it’s also fairly cheap too highly recommend :))))

Went in with the Park Run crew. Nice young feel to the place served by trendy guys. Great place to just chill out.

When I visit Chippenham, I always like to visit the Rivo Lounge. The tapas are to die for and there is always a good vibe about the place.

Fast service, easy to order using the qr code. The food was tasty and good quality, coffee is next level- definitely one of the best ones around!

My friend and I went for lunch We received our food and my friend had a fish finger sandwich. The lettuce was brown and the brown bread was stodgy Someone came over to us and asked if we had our drinks and I replied that we hadn't. The girl said sorry they had been forgotten! I paid £27 and to be totally honest it really wasn't a great experience . Will definitely not be going there again

I wouldn't recommend going here. Food is pretty awful and definitely over priced. Everything also seemed a bit grubby, ketchup bottles look like they've never been cleaned.

4 of us went in for breakfast today and we were not impressed. The food was lukewarm and out of the 4 meals 3 of the sausages were not cooked and one of the eggs was still clear on top, all the tomatoes were still raw and who boils mushrooms🤢 When i mentioned it to the server she said she will inform the chef. I would understand if they were busy but there were only about 12 people in the restaurant that included us. I wasn't looking at getting a reduction on the bill but for just over £56 you would expect better. I doubt i will eat there again.

They give it to other people in a big glass, the job is small and the extra money is very bad.

One of a few of the chain we've been in. Whilst similiar in set up it's a set up that works. Speedy service, pleasant staff, nice layouts. Food is especially good with lots of choice.

Lovely place with lovely staff. The prices are quite good and the quality is great. You can easily see why this place has a constant stream of visitors. Plenty of seating plus there's outside seating lovely during the summer. Updated review: still a lovely place to go. My above review remains the same.

As always, good food at a reasonable price. Service was a bit (not too bad) slower than the last time. But chicken burger was really juicy and tasty. A local favourite.

Tapas Tuesday was perfect, we had three choices each, I had the veggie versions, lovely and tasty/spicy, my partner had meaty choices, plus the obligatory patatas bravas 😋and free glass of wine each....no pudding as quite full. Love the 'lounges' chain, the atmosphere is very relaxing and they choose their staff very well..top marks 🥰

Very nice overall. Only one time I had my order never arrive because they forgot where my table was, which was odd.

We went for a lounge breakfast this morning,couldn’t fault it like usual!Was on Route to somewhere(guess)and has been here before and had a brilliant experience so decided to repeat it.The food was all delicious.I had the halloumi,gluten free saussage and bacon butty,gluten free toast with butter and jam and hash browns.The food is top quality,you can’t beat a lounge breakfast and so much gluten free options,never seen anywhere with so many options.Fantastic service,speedy and polite.Relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday morning.I sat by the door with the window open,it was so lovely having the fresh air and view of the high street.Would highly recommend Rivo lounge!

Nice food but depending what you get can be a bit pricey. The atmosphere and location is great, The waiting staff are also fast, efficient and make sure you have everything you need. Proper burger van ketchup though, get some Heinz!

Popular cafe/bar on 2 floors next to the bridge. Typical of Lounge group bars. Little ale choice except a good but bottled Bristol Milk Stout.

Food was excellent, I cannot complain, about this, i come here frequently for the food. Service is usually good, but my most recent visit was on form!

Great restaurant that puts a lot of focus on allergens and dietary needs. There are dedicated gluten free and vegan menus, which can be accessed online and filtered. The remaining items after filtering still offer a good choice. Less than 6 people cannot book a table which can be difficult during peak times. There is a lot of seating upstairs and downstairs and has some outside by the river. You must walk to the bar to order and pay for food, however servers did make a point of walking over whilst we were eating to ask how the food was. Many drink options also

I often visit here with friends. Friendly staff. Almost always crowded. Prices are moderate, dishes to suit any taste. Children love burgers (and adults too 😉). Everything I tried was delicious.

Good breakfast, great fresh orange juice, cappuccino was not burned/over-roasted like most places I've been to in England and the staff were very good. Well worth a visit.

First visit to this unassuming location by the bridge. It was busy with customers of a wide age range. Couldn't work the app so ordered painlessly at the bar instead. Food didn't take long and everything was delicious!

Tend not eat at the various loungers ( all over the place ). BUT DO use them for drinks , usually coffee , which because of their spaciousness , always makes for relaxing time . ( A feature not all of those places of a similar trade seem able to better ). SO , l have always been able and happy to use Loungers for business meetups or chill outs with family or friends and will continue as long as current standards of service are maintained.

Visited Rivo for a few pre-drinks. Nice spot in Chippenham when the sun is out, but service was lacking. Asked for 3 pints, received only 2, and we had to go back to the bar to get our cocktail, which they said they would take to the table. Food was really good. Would have rated it higher if the service had been better.

I didn't plan to eat there initially but since we were with our boy and they had food for kids, we decided to dine there. The food was excellent, prompt serving, nice staff. Totally recommend!

My family came in for lunch on the unfortunate Sunday 19th May when a poor man passed away. All members of staff were incredible that day and warrant nothing but praise but none more so than the blonde man with glasses (apologies for not remembering his name). He was incredible with both the man on the stairs and the poor young lad who threw up before that. Even before the terrible incident... he was welcoming, friendly and great with our kids. This man is a credit to your team but furthermore, an all round wonderful human being!

Arrived at about 2130 and got the feeling they couldn't wait to be rid of us to be able to close up, given they aren't supposed to close until 2300. The upstairs was closing as we arrived, however the toilets are upstairs, a customer tried to go upstairs to use the toilet but was then told to use the disabled toilet/baby change room on the ground floor. Luckily I didn't need to the loo as I wouldnt have been very happy to use that mixed use toilet, I'd envisage possible tinkles on the floor/seat from male customers whose aim could be off given the alcohol ingestion. The guys behind the bar were lovely and cheery though

Fabulous brunch recently. Staff were fantastic, really welcoming. Food was delicious, great menu options. We had the added bonus of sitting outside in the sun too.

Great atmosphere with nice design. Really surprised to find a decent restaurant in Chippenham. The all day breakfast is delicious pretty spot on. Only thing to improve is the QR code. Definitely will visit again.

Super busy when I went on a Friday night but loved the vibes and the food

This was the first visit for me. I found it to be a wonderful place to meet my friends and have a drink.

A lovely place, fairly big and doggies are welcome. Staff is super friendly towards people and the pets. Food was delicious too! I'm not a vegetarian/vegan myself but couple of our crew members are and I saw they did receive their own menu and both loved the options and the food they ordered.

The food here is so fresh, crunchy and delicious. My favourite dish so far is the bang bang chicken. I also was really surprised by how good the honey-whipped feta tapas dish tasted. It comes with a flatbread to scoop it up. The quality is consistently high. The breakfasts are very generous - almost too much. And they use paper straws. It's both cozy and spacious at the same time. The staff are always welcoming and friendly.

Service is really prompt here. Food is food and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere, can come here for a coffee with friends or a meal out with a larger group. You can order at the bar or through a QR code on the menu. Menu is very extensive, something for everyone and they cater for dietary requirements well.

We went here twice now and only ordered milkshakes and had to wait over 30 minutes both times!

First visit to Rivo and I was very impressed! Great choice of menu choices including a separate vegan menu. The Bang Bang Cauliflower, served with noodles, pak choi, tenderstem broccoli, mushrooms and sugar snap peas topped with bang bang coconut sauce, sesame seeds and chill was absolutely delicious and I could have eaten it twice over! The halloumi burger served with hummus, roasted peppers, tomato, red onion and chipotle chilli jam and a side portion of chips was also very good. The service was very quick, despite being Friday night busy. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Can't top Rivo accommodate anyone, chill vibes and banging food

A versatile and reliable spot to go for brunch, or drinks with friends, or bring visitors from other places. One of Chippenham's best venues for all sorts of social gatherings. The staff are always helpful, and the menu is extensive and varied. Ordering with their website is easy, too, and prices are very fair. I have had a couple of times where food took a long time to arrive, but given the sheer number of times I've been here I can say it's a rare occurrence.

Staff are friendly, atmosphere is welcoming but the selection of lager leaves a lot to be desired.

went for a belated mother's day meal - never been before - was greeted by a lovely lady and had the best service from a cheery waitress - all in all a lovely meal and experience.

I am so impressed with Rivo and their customer service skills. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they always make you feel so welcome. They have an extensive Gluten Free range and incredibly strict about contamination of food. Hence why we always goto Rivo if shopping in Chippenham. Today my husband accidentally forgot to ask for no butter on his toast ( which his fried egg was sat on). Without hesitation they took his plate and returned with a fried egg on toast and without even asking swopped out the mushrooms for ones not cooked in butter. It really is a place particularly if you’re intolerant to certain foods. They have such a great attitude - even towards their colleagues, as one tripped on the stairs with a tray of coffees - immediately the team went to help her and I could hear them ensuring she was ok. They quickly cleaned up and the waitress was able to sort herself out.. The manager on duty was kind and calm, treating her with as much respect as his customers. Well done Rivo..

It took over 15min for the food to come to the table but was worth the wait. There is no parking near the restaurant but there was a paid parking/ parking lot nearby ( on bath road)

Brunch was good. I ordered the lounge eggs with bacon and they came out originally undercooked. The staff immediately brought a new meal and took the price off our bill without being asked. Great service!

We visited Rivo Lounge on a Monday evening which meant we got a free pudding with our mains. The food was excellent. We all had burgers of different types, which were really good and the puddings were great, no small measures because they were free. Staff were attentive and friendly and the food came quickly. Much better than your usual microwaved pub grub. I recommend a visit
