I ordered on their website, for the Take Away. It was very good, didn't have to wait long. The food is very nice and the staff are very friendly

Lovely spot, passed it so many times glad I discovered it. Had the coffee which was great and even though it was not on the menu they made a fantastic chai latte for my wife.

Party of 13 for breakfast on our way to Watch Minster FC play in the cup final at Chatham. Booked for 12 but had one extra which was not a problem.Ordered 13 different breakfasts and all that was left on a plate was a couple of bread crusts.Food was superb and piping hot.Staff where on the ball with orders and drinks kept coming out during the meal.Went to pay the bill and the boss rounded it down without asking, Cannot recommend this place enough. Hopefully we qualify for next years final and will see you all again.

I suddenly (?) fancied a breakfast "roll", so I popped in. A freindly greeting, and when I suggested a take way breakfast, the baguetteswere recommended. Egg, bacon, sausage in a baguette, nicely presented and a good cup of tea. Whilst I was waiting, the Cafe was full of seated customers and there was a lively buzz, like a good pub atmosphere. Will revisit (probably tomorrow). Good honest food at reasonable prices and served with a smile and a friendly voice.

Great little place.... we had planned to go to the gym but they do not do walkins. I have passed this place many times before (recalling that it was once the sight of the greengrocers. Love the nostalgic photos of the local area - really added to the pleasant atmosphere. Well run little place and the food also looks amazing. We just went for coffee but though it was not on the menu they did offer Chai latte which my wife really enjoyed. (She can be quite fussy about Chai Lattes being too weak). However this place was top!

Brilliant cafe! The food was very tasty, generous portions with fast and friendly service. Seats available for little ones as well as colouring pens and pictures. The staff were very willing to help with nothing seeming like too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!

Everything on the plate was deep fried apart from the beans. Dirty coffee cups and bad coffee. We left the coffee and most of the breakfast. Cobwebs all over the ceiling but the table was clean. It wouldn't take a lot to make this a great cafe, a good clean and some half decent coffee and condiments would be a good start. First and last visit for us. In fairness to the staff, they were polite.

Popped in for a cup of coffee but as there was no sign of a coffee machine went for s cup of tea! Drank it as quickly as I could as the smell of old fat in the fryer was overwhelming as chips were cooked. Very poor!

This is a small café in a very small shopping area. Its always busy when I go there and its a mixed bag of users. Locals having a tea and lunch breakfast or Sunday dinner. Its not fancy but its very friendly and the cook/chef always listens to what you want. The portions even the pensioners specials are large how they make money I do not know. I have never heard a bad word said about it. I even take home a sausage or two for my dog. Parking is on the road and it gets a bit busy. The staff are good and work hard. Well worth a visit but be hungry. When its busy be prepared to share your table.

Coming here for a full English breakfast is such a treat. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. Whenever I've been, it's been quiet and nearly empty so there's not much atmosphere. I always look forward to coming for a big breakfast and always leave happy!

Pier 5 is a truly great spot for a relaxed evening out. Located right by the river in Chatham Maritime, it boasts a fantastic feel-good atmosphere. The extensive drinks menu is a real highlight, offering everything from proper real ales and a great selection of lagers to a wide variety of whiskeys, gins, and much more. Whether you're after a classic pint or something a little stronger, they've got you covered. My recent evening there was fantastic. Enjoying a good drink and some delicious food while watching the river flow by was a real treat. The view across the River Medway is a definite plus. One thing that really stood out was how comfortable the outdoor seating area is, even when the evening gets cooler. They've thoughtfully provided plenty of heaters, making it a warm and inviting space to relax late into the night. When it comes to food, you absolutely have to try their loaded fries. The "mucky" options are particularly amazing – I highly recommend the Mucky Swine loaded fries with spiced fries, crispy streaky bacon, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, house burger sauce, and BBQ sauce. They also do a Messy Cow version with beef chilli and jalapeños which sounds equally tempting! The portions here are generous, especially the chicken wings. You can get a 0.25 kilo portion or go all out with a 0.5 kilo or a 1 kilo shareable (or not!) amount. They're tossed in a secret recipe house blend seasoning, and you can choose your preferred sauces If you're looking for a relaxed and enjoyable evening in Chatham with great food, a huge drinks selection, and a lovely riverside setting, Pier 5 is definitely worth a visit. The added bonus of ample outdoor heaters makes it a comfortable choice even on cooler nights. Just make sure you try those incredible loaded fries and the generous chicken wings!

Sadly despite Costa’s recent change of dog policy, They would not allow me in with my dog, so no coffee for me. This is the only early morning coffee spot in the town centre, which is also a tourist trap, and not allowing dogs seems very short sighted. Many solo travellers don't want to tie their dog up outside, so will avoid completely. Very dissapointed.

Great example of a proper British pub. Darts, pool, live bands and real ales. There’s even a big friendly dog that will certainly let you stroke him. Great place to come with kids or on a Sunday, the atmosphere is unmatched. Mind ye head, the ceiling can be low in spots.
