Stopped off for lunch here as we were passing through Bracknell. Very impressed. My wife ordered the lamb koftas, sweet potato fries and the Greek salad. I did not order as I was not hungry. The food was so plentiful that I had to help out my wife with her meal and I’m glad that I did! Service was great, and it’s a fantastic location overlooking the park. We’ll certainly be back!

Bustling bar restaurant tucked away at the back of Southhill Park, one of the hidden gems of Bracknell. Sunday lunch was one of the best weve had with great service too. Quality and quantity of food was top class. Kids and veggie/gluten free options too. We will be back!

Decided to have a meal before a show in the Wilde Theater, What a great meal the restaurant is fairly small so the lady that was serving had lots of time for us and made us feel really welcome. The food was excellent for the price which was great value. I was expecting a bit cafe food but was very wrong the food was delicious and plenty of it. Will definitely go back again as we only live round the corner should have gone before now.

Website states the business closes at 18:00. Sign on the door states it closes at 17:00. Got there at 16:40 and the door was closed. Staff were sitting in the outside seated area and told us they close at 17:00. I pointed out we still had 20 minutes to which the response was “last orders at 16:30!” It’s such a shame as made a special journey to finish off what had been a good weekend.

We had a delicious lunch at The Atrium Restaurant at South Hill Park. We started with some lovely glasses of wine and then both had the Caesar salads. They were enormous portions. I added the Haloumi which was delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant for its relaxed feel but excellent quality of meals. Prices are good as well.

Came at a very busy time, but still parked outside easily. Seven of us had booked in advance. Friendly staff. Rapid delivery of food once ordered. Piping hot and great quality. My fish and chips were excellent, and good sized portion. Only downside was lack of table service and need to join long queue at bar to order with only one person serving.

We visited South Hill Park yesterday on a busy Sunday afternoon for a film screening in the 60 seat cinema. The main restaurant was fully booked however we could order from the menu in the bar seating area which was fine. We ordered soup of the day and calamari. We didn’t like their pino grigio wine choice, the red rioja was more drinkable. Instead of the soup of the day being tomato and basil as stated on the board, I’m quite sure it was carrot. Despite this it was nice, with fresh bread and butter on the side and a square of focaccia served on top- nourishing and wholesome. The presentation could have been slightly more considered- the soup bowl reminded me of a school canteen. The calamari was ok but not great, as one would expect in a typical non gastropub. The tables were all quite scratched. We’ve booked the Purple Zeppelin show next week and opted out of the pre-show dining. Will return for a rioja fix!

Came here on Sunday afternoon for a mooch around the Mansion and then decided to have lunch. The restaurant was fairly busy and although there were plenty of serving staff on duty, the wait for food was a little long. When it arrived though, the roast dinner was very good indeed (although I noticed none of the other diners seemed to eat their Yorkshire puddings!). The stuffing meat was amazing. We both had a dessert afterwards - I had the Brownie and my girlfriend had the Stick Toffee Pudding - both excellent. Prices are a bit on the steep side but it was a nice meal and the surroundings outside are lovely.

My wife and I dropped into the restaurant on Sunday (on the off-chnace) after a lovely walk around South Hill Park with the baby and mother-in-law in tow!. The helpful staff managed to get us seated (including space for the baby's pram) quickly and we ordered the Sunday Roast. All three adults ordered the Roast Beef. The food was delivered very quickly and very hot. 'Proper' roast beef, real roast potatoes and a huge home-made Yorkshire pudding arrived along with a separate big bowl of piping hot veg. The food was excellent and even the mother-in-law loved it, which is frankly the highest praise that can be given lol. Mid-range price but absolutely recommended. We will all be back soon to sample the rest of the menu. Please note that the surroundings are a bit basic if you're concerned about such things....but please don't let that stop you from sampling the great food that's on offer.

Came here for lunch with my husband and baby - wanted somewhere out of town but a nice setting.... The restaurant itself is quite small and is ina bit of a through area which is offputting. The chairs were filthy and in need to a deep clean or replacing. It is order at the bar, which I hadn’t realised (wasn’t mentioned when we sat down), so waited ages until the penny dropped. By this time, there was a large wedding party at the bar so it took a while to queue and pay. Bar staff seemed really uninterested in serving, preferring to chat to each other. The menu was not too varied but there was enough o. There for us to pick from - and the food itself was lovely, warm and good value. Shame really, I wanted this to be a nice meal but it was a bit stressful in the end.

It’s one of our favourite places to sit outdoors when the sun is out and people watch. Unfortunately our first visit this year was disappointing for several reasons- the benches are all falling apart and warped so drinks are easily spilled and it’s uncomfortable to sit on as the whole bench moves whenever an individual moves; the new queue of system seems to have slowed service right down and the chips were ordered unpleasant. Such a shame but hopefully it will improve over the summer.

Been here and few times for English breakfast and it's always good but after an amazing Sunday roast I think its a about time I gave this place a 5 stars as never had a bad experince here. The staff were all friendly and really accommodating. The food was also amazing and all cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are very generous. The pudding was also good. My daughter also loved the pasta dish from the kids menu and ate an amazing amount of this. Can't recommend this place enough for families.

The Atrium seems to cater for all standard refreshment needs serving hot and cold beverages and food. It was a particularly cold day when we were there, so most people were having hot drinks in the bar area overlooking the grounds. The main restaurant area is behind bar in a tall atrium to the main building. You order your food and drinks at the bar. The lunch menu was fairly standard; nothing fancy but perfectly adequate for this type of venue and the service was prompt. Worth a visit if you're visiting the grounds or arts centre.

This is because they gave me a steak with pepper sauce instead of stilton & mushroom. Despite being assured it was right a few mouthfuls got the tongue burning so I insisted it was changed. That said the bavette steak was very nice and I also enjoyed the tasty goats cheese with roasted root veg starter. Shame we will not be able to use this facility (private dining room) next year.

This is one of our local stops. It is priced towards the higher end of the market and seems expensive at first glance but all the food and drink I've had from here has been good - hot and tasty. I'd recommend it for a lunch, but not somewhere to make a point of visiting just for food. If there is another reason to visit - and there are always loads of things going on here - it's a welcome place to recharge. Lovely in the summer too!

Friendly staff serve great coffee with a good selection of fabulous cakes, some gluten-free. Good selection of hot food, including vegetarian options. Our association usually celebrates St George's Day. After being let down by the first venue we had planned they readily let us come here. We were placed in a side room with large tables just nice and cosy for us. Although we were all paying our own way on the night from their menu they coped admirably. They took the orders, brought the food (hot even though a way from the kitchen) and let us go individually to the bar later to pay for what we had had. The menu was limited but had enough variety to suit everyone. I enjoyed the duck pancake starter and the steak & stout pie. We liked the look of the patio and will try it out again one nice summers evening.

We had a family outing here on a Sunday in February for roast dinners. Including children and grandchildren, there were nineteen of us. We were given a separate room to have to ourselves, which was unexpected but most welcome. Some of us have eaten here before, so we knew what to expect. In order to get a Sunday roast dinner sitting, it is imperative to phone the restaurant by 8pm on Saturday to reserve your seats. The service is very friendly and you don't have to wait too long for your food. Many restaurants serve excellent food, but the portions are too small. Conversely, many restaurants will serve you a pile of food that is not up to the standard that you might have hoped for. This restaurant serves top quality food, and lots of it! The prices were quite acceptable too. We had a thoroughly pleasant experience and will happily return in the future for more of the same. The bar serves a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, and has wonderful vistas over South Hill Park. Altogether, a great place to visit.

This is a lovely hotel, situated in a little village. We booked for lunch , the restaurant had two areas one large by the bar and entrance with a smaller area to side. We were sat near the kitchen door, service was slow as only one person was taking the orders and the restaurant was busy. The menu and food were disappointing and over priced. The arricini was ok ,Fish and chips were greasy, the chips were frozen and not cooked properly. The burger was raw inside ( we assumed they would ask if we wanted rare) . The sea bass was ok though it went back as I had asked for the sauce to be on the side. We had to ask for cutlery. The staff cleared the table while I was still eating and talking . Overall this was a disappointing visit with overpriced food , poor service. It’s not a place I shall be returning to.
