Terrible! Messaged privately to sort out problems but read and not replied! Ordered 2 loaded chicken fries, after 50 mins, 1 arrived, no cutlery, no explanation as to why 1 missing. Had to ask for cutlery and second meal, 20 mins later 2nd 1 arrived. Horrible chicken fatty thigh, could not eat, did not eat and explained to staff, they were not bothered. Will never go again

Arrived early evening with a friend with the intention of booking a table as our wives were joining us later. Three of four very young staff behind the bat but I bouldering only see two other customers. Ordered one pint of beer and one of lager. The price was eye watering. Attempted to pay with cash (nearly £6 per pint) but change was not available. The ale was in poor very flat. Did not ask for menus called our wives and went elsewhere. I hope the pub stays in business but I will not return until products improve.

Waited over an hour for our food although pub was very quiet. Food was average and very pricey! We asked for coffees when the staff member came to take our order for desserts only to be told “we’ve turned it off and cleaned it”. Felt this was not really acceptable when still serving food. Charging high end prices but not delivering high end service. Sorry but we won’t be returning.

(Unfortunately no pics taken). Whilst staying in Muxford, we looked for a local pub for food that served meat, vegan and more than "just nuggets" for kids. The Last Inn covered all bases. Upon arrival, the car park is opposite. At the entrance, it does state "dog friendly" and there are water bowls. Greeted at the bar by friendly staff, we were seated straight away. The pub is very light and airy and stretches further back than can be seen with a beer garden also. We ordered a Last Inn beer and a non alcoholic beer on tap. To the food, we ordered a child's Mac & Cheese with garlic bread (enough to feed a small adult). There are a few vegan options, opted for the veg linguine which was good (could have done with a few mushrooms and maybe garlic bread on the side but was nice). Lastly the 10 oz Rib Eye, cooked in crushed pepper with Blue Cheese sauce, if it was not the best steak I have ever had, it is very close, would highly recommend to any meat lover. This was follwed up with a chocolate cheesecake & apple crumble, both delicious. Definitely would visit again if in the area.

Service very good, friendly welcome. Was very quiet for a Thursday night. Food was served quickly but was not good at all. Just seemed reheated/ not freshly cooked. Mentioned this to the man serving and he was very apologetic, offered an alternative etc. Sat on a table by the doors to the garden where there were lots of flies all over the windows. Please sort this out, really off putting 😔. The restaurant is nicely decorated but I feel you need a new chef. Would definitely not return I'm afraid.

Once again very disappointed with the experience . Waited so long for just one course for two . When it came it wasn’t worth wait or the money . Waitress took drink order said she would come back for food order and never did . It was the person bringing food out from kitchen that saw us waiting and realised it was a long time, he took the order but the wait after that was rediculous I could have walked home and cooked it in quicker time If the waitress said no problem once she said it a hundred times! Third disappointed experience now so will not return .

Booked a table for 6.30 pm for 5 people to celebrate my Daughters Birthday . The service was shocking . We ordered our food by 6.40 and it eventually arrived at 8.35pm ( really gone past feeling like eating by then ) nearly 2 hours wait for a main courses !!! We only ordered 2 starters and they didn’t arrive together about 30 mins difference . Staff were all young and were trying to deal with the carnage of everyone losing patience with waiting hours for their meal . One waitress slammed a tray down and stormed out . People were complaining about the wait and the staff couldn’t really give us an explanation , it was like they were waiting for a Chef to arrive who never turned up for hours ! The food wasn’t great when it finally did arrive , Fish n Chips was all dripping in grease , Burger was over cooked and dry , Pie was just like one you would buy frozen in a pack , these meals did not warrant a bill of £99.00 which did not include any alcoholic drinks . They did offer us a free round of drinks but no discount on the price of a poor meal with a 2 hr wait !! Shocking ! We would never go again .

Booked this with a hope that it would accommodate different tastes from 3 generations in the same family and we were not disappointed. We ordered from the children's menu as well as steak, whole chicken and a few roasts and overall we were very happy. Also ordered some deserts and I was told that the raspberry creme brulee was lush! With regards to price I thought it was good value for money for the quality and the quantity. So all in all a successful Sunday lunch. Customer service was also excellent pre-booking and also during our meal. I guess the only improvement for us would be for our mains to have come out of the kitchen a little quicker (we pre-ordered the majority of the meal) as it took an hour from when we arrived. Saying that we would definitely consider coming back again as the food was excellent, tasty and great value for money.

A part of 12 of us visited for a birthday lunch we pre ordered In adavance. We rang and emailed regarding the 4 vegan meals and still when they arrived some of the food on the plate was not vegan ! Ok we were not charged but this is poor. Then we had ordered 2 all in one roast platters . The first one arrived no green veg, stuffing or pigs in blankets , the second one arrived 10 mins later with the veg for the first one still no stuffing or pigs in blankets for either platter had to ask again which resulted in another 10 min wait . The kitchen staff really need to get their act together . They serve these platters week in week out how difficult is it to put everything on the platter board before it’s sent out. Not a pleasant experience to have to eat your lunch a bit at a time and half the party just sit and watch whilst waiting for theirs to arrive

First visit to The Last Inn but will definitely be back. Just had a lovely afternoon tea here which was absolutely delicious, too many cakes to eat (is there such a thing i hear people shout) so a treat taken home for my grandson. Mom and I had a shandy made with the house bitter which is an absolutely delightful fresh and summery drink. Coffee served with our food was also very good. So good food and drink, but what made our day was the lovely manager (sorry we didn't ask your name) who was the icing on the cake, he is a very lovely and friendly young man who found time to chat to us between doing lots of other things, we will be back to sample some more of your hospitalty and the lovely ale!! Thank you to the landlord and all the staff at the Last Inn for an excellent meal. Enjoyed the lunch very much, I had some roast beef and pork both of which were excellent and the vegetables were well prepared as well. The beer was well kept, had a Wainwrights and a local bitter, can't vouch for the lager! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the venue was kept to a high standard. My only niggle would be outside the actual pub; the car park. As it was my first visit I didn't know that there's a sizeable pot hole as you drive in. On the day it had been covered over by the rain; best avoided, but more difficult if you can't see it!!

Visited on a Sunday late afternoon without booking and was given a warm welcome. Sunday roasts our family had were delicious and the waiting staff were very helpful and efficient. We will definitely return. Complaint - Ordered salmon nicoise and checked with Manager that the ingredients listed on the menu were in fact the only ingredients (had several disasters elsewhere recently where ingredients had been swapped and changed about!) - he assured us that exactly what was listed was included - nothing more, nothing less. Unfortunately when it arrived the cherry tomatoes had been swapped for sundried tomatoes (which I hate) plus there were no capers as described but gerkins (yuk), and there were lots of whole garlic cloves which were not listed. The Manager apologised and looked as confused as we did particularly as we had specifically asked that the ingredients were as described in the menu and he assured us they were! The Manager came back from the kitchen with beautifully sweet fresh cherry tomatoes and capers for me to add to my meal - why on earth did the Chef think it was a good idea to swap the ingredients???? The Manager dealt with our complaint extremely well by rectifying it and then not charging for it.

The food was great to look at. That's the only compliment I can give. Aside from the amazing waiter who was witty and fun. We waited ages for our food and it took us ages to get someone's attention to order more drinks. The food was not bad but we definitely wouldn't eat there again. The rolls for the hamburgers where soggy, they ran out of all sorts so we had to order other meals on a very small menu. My biggest problem is that none of the meals where diabetic friendly, either loaded with carbs or full of sugary fruits... the food looked good but seriously didn't live up to expectations im sorry but we probably won't go back. Overpriced and not worth it...

Slow service and a lot of the food that is pre-prepared. When ‘catch of the day’ is prawns (my money is on them being caught in the freezer) you just know it doesn’t add up. And expensive for something that was disappointing in terms of quality and flavour. That said, beer was kept in good order and the fixtures and fittings impressive.

I've just returned from a evening at the Last Inn, I wish I could say it was a roaring success but sadly it wasn't. You can imagine the excitement of 5 friends getting together for the first time in a year but how sad it was the food and service was such a disappointment. After sitting for over 1/2 hour, we were asked to place our order. The menu isn't extensive, so it doesn't take long to decide! I asked for steak and ale pie and was told it was no longer available, a friend asked for salmon and was told 10 minutes later it was no longer available (she doesn't eat meat and only had a choice of two other dishes, one she didn't like). After an hour, I asked when our food was likely to arrive, we were told 10 mins, after around 20 minutes it arrived. My alternative was haddock and chips, the batter was undercooked on the inside and inedible, the mushy peas were cold and the 1/2 dozen chips were nothing special. My friend had to have tofu kebab, which was a block of tofu (nothing else) on a stick with curry rice and spinach - she couldn't eat any of it. Out of the five of us, only one person's meal was okay. When they came to collect the plates, they asked if the meal was okay. We said no and she said she'd bring the manager, he arrived and we explained the length of time we waited, that the food wasn't available and the quality of it. And, this is the most shocking part, at no time did he apologise, he said there was only a couple of dishes not on the menu (I said 3 out of 5 of us didn't have our first choice) they can never guarantee what food will be available and no comment regarding the quality of the food or length of time waited. He never apologised and just walked away. They presented the bill and said they had discounted it but we would all rather have had an apology. I'm not sure what went wrong as we weren't the only table that were complaining but I would advise that the manager needs to look at his customer service and changes are needed for the service, quality and availability of food.

Came for a birthday meal on a Sunday for two people. There was only three other tables, not busy at all. We waited 15 minutes for two lime and sodas, along with another 15 minutes to take our food order. Service was absolutely awful, waiters/waitresses walking past our table and ignoring us, had to go up to the bar to get service each time (this is the second time we have visited and the service has been exactly the same). Ordered Mac and Cheese which was beautiful however the pork sandwich was 80% fat with the stuffing rock solid. Not the type to complain, however was so disappointed, the service really needs to improve, especially for a birthday meal! Will not be returning.

Poor and very slow service. We visited the restaurant tonight. It was not at all busy and for three of us to get through two courses took 2 hours 45 minutes. We were seated, waited around ten minutes to order, our first course (steak, all rare/medium rare) took over 30 mins to arrive. We then waited another 20 minutes to order desserts - one of the desserts was with a hot sauce (chocolate brownie) and it had been sat so long that a skin had formed over the chocolate sauce, yet it was still served to us. The pavlova was basically two meringue nests from a supermarket with cream ana fruit....We all had steaks for main course and the meals were tasty, but the very slow service, lack of attention (i felt dehydrated by the time we left as we only had the opportunity to order two glasses of water over the course of nearly 3 hours) but the poor service really let the evening down. When asked by the waitress how the meal had been, we explained the disappointment, but there was no follow up and it was hardly acknowledged. Based on this, we won’t be back I’m afraid.

I’m sorry to write this as I don’t like to leave somewhat negative reviews (especially during these difficult times), but we visited The Last Inn yesterday evening and were really disappointed by the whole experience. We arrived at the restaurant, slightly strange atmosphere as to begin with we were the only ones in there. Two more families arrived not long after us. At 6:45pm we were told there was only 1 pie left. Seems odd as surely the evening was only just getting started...? I dread to think what would have happened if all of the diners (all 9 of us!) wanted a pie. We skipped starters, went straight to main. To me the choice of mains was very limited, before there used to be quite a few specials to choose from, but there was only one (a pie - which’s was on the main menu anyway) on the board. Husband ordered gammon and I ordered a chicken breast wrapped in bacon with chorizo and cheese. Our main meals arrived....Nicely presented. Husband’s gammon was “alright”, sadly my chicken breast was really small & watery, chorizo very mushy, bacon very fatty.... I’ve since been up most of the night unwell so think it may have been undercooked. I had 6 chips (I counted), unfortunately I did not like my “seasonal veg” so couldn’t eat. Felt very hungry still after my main. Not the way I like to feel after paying for a main meal!We had dessert, Husband had sticky toffee pudding, I opted for brownie. Have to say dessert portions were huge, we couldn’t finish them.... but felt a bit sick after not really having much of a main! Brownie was a bit burnt, an odd texture. Seems the portion sizes are a bit out of sync.Don’t get me wrong the service was okay, we felt very safe and all COVID guidelines were in place, it just wasn’t for us. We could have cooked a nicer meal at home and saved £50, or dined out at another restaurant and had nicer food (at half the price!) - and left feeling full! I’m sorry to write this as pre-COVID we had dined at The Last Inn on quite a few occasions and always had a nice meal, so last nights experience just left us feeling very disappointed.... sadly we won’t be back any time soon.

I had been bought an afternoon tea, through Groupon, at The Last Inn as a 50th Birthday present from some great friends of ours. My wife and I had our Wedding reception at the Last Inn when it was owned by Nick and called The Aston 6 1/2 years ago. The idea was that it would be a lovely reminder of a fabulous day.Couldn’t be further from it.When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly chap who led us to a table and asked us what drinks we wanted. I opted for a pint of ale and my wife asked for tea.The drinks were brought out quite quickly and left on the tray for us to help ourselves to which in this current climate was not an issue at all. What was the issue was the cleanliness of the tea set. My wife lifted the lid of the pot to stir the tea bag and also to see what tea it was and the outer rim of the pot was heavily stained. Ok it is a tea pot which has tea in it, however, I have never been anywhere where a filthy pot has brought out. This clearly had not been properly washed for quite a while. This really put my wife off from the start. The cup and saucer were also not very clean either with the cup having heavy tea stains on it too. It does not take much to keep items free of stains. It was a PG Tips pyramid bag in the pot by the way.I had looked at the website to see what the afternoon tea was like and the pictures depicted finger sandwiches and cakes and scones, as you would expect. What was brought out was not quite what we had expected. The sandwiches were square and an attempt had been made to cut the crusts off, but you could still see parts that had been missed. There were 6 in total and a handful of green leaves plonked in the centre of them. I had called in advance, as my wife is not keen on mayonnaise, to ask for a percentage of them not to have any mayo/sauce in them. When I went to pick one up, it was so soggy underneath that I was not able to even take a bite. The rest were the same.I called the waiter over and explained. He apologised and took the plate away saying he would get the chef to make some fresh. Leaving the scones and other sweet array. We ate the scones which were ok, although there was a huge dollop of jam which was never going to be eaten on two scones! After around 20 minutes he returned with another attempt. The sandwiches were rectangular this time but not small as a normal afternoon tea is. I think chef had struggled to find some fillings as there were two with hot chicken in, cheese and tomato and blt. I had a few as I was starving by now but my wife was not impressed and only ate the scone as she had fully been put off with the soggy sandwiches!I tried the chocolate brownie slice and the ginger cake slice but left them after a bite as they tasted old. The pot of what I guessed to be Eaton Mess was interesting at best and I had to use a normal fork to eat it as there had been no spoon brought out to us. Again I only had a couple of mouthfulls. There were two ladies sat at a table near to us who had the afternoon tea too and they had left most of their food, I think they’d only Eaton the scones and drank their Prosecco!I was going to say something to the only staff member about it but he had vanished so we just left.If I had been paying the bill, I would not have!Terribly disappointed. If this is what you get for £13.95 each it is not value for money in any way, shape or form! Maybe Groupon customers get the paupers menu!?We have had afternoon tea at quite a few places ranging from Claridges in London at £95 each to The Moat house in Stafford at £20 each. While we were not expecting Claridges standard we were expecting similar to the Moat House which was fabulous (go there instead if you can travel). All in all, dreadful and there is no way we will ever be going back.Sorry The Last Inn if you were just having a bad day and we were just unlucky, but I doubt this!!

Yeah. Cannot say I'm impressed. Came here for a family, birthday meal and was not overly impressed. I know the head chef well and was informed upon arriving that he was not working. Let's be fair, we could tell. It was a Friday night in August and was very quiet. Despite this, we waited 45-50 minutes for 3 Gammon steaks,2 haddocks, 2 burgers and a salmon. We didn't actually ask why the food took so long, I guess because we were enjoying each others company, nevertheless we certainly waited an abnormal amount of time considering it was quiet and none of us had particular long-to-cook meals. Despite it being my birthday, my gammon was overcooked and they got the individual clearly amended meals wrong, despite being pretty simple changes that we had asked for. (Ie. My gammon with 2 eggs rather than 1 egg 1 pineapple.)My girlfriends brother had the beef burger and was convinced that it was not brisk burger and that is was indeed, 2 kids burgers jammed together. The menu described a 6oz brisk beef burger but it turned up as 2 4oz beef burgers. The other 4 people on the table enjoyed their meals, the two haddock and salmon had a nice meal. But I am reviewing from my side and was particularly disappointed.Yes, we should have responded when the staff came round, but I always feel rude. It was average, on a quiet night. Disappointing considering I know the head chef.

Came here on the Government 50% scheme and wasn't sure what to except as the previous weeks at other places were terrible. This has been the best, the layout was excellent for COVID, the service was spot on and the food was really delicious and well presented. The pan fried Salmon and belly pork was excellent along with the sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie. It was so nice that somewhere delivered quality food and not cut corners on the 50% scheme. We will be returning and thank you for a lovely evening.

Presentation of the meal was very poor I visited with my family we had four rum steaks , gammon, game pie, chicken breast, the steaks was cook ok but we had the small mushrooms you could get, and a quarter of cremated tomato no garnished we had to ask for it, the waiter dropped the steak over the table never apologised we pick it up and put it back on the plate. Yes we did get 50% of our meal because of the Government in courage people to go and support your local pubs and restaurants. If I was the owner I would give the best meal I could put on so to courage customers to return but sorry I will not be returning even if I got 75% off very disappointed.

We were really looking forward to this afternoon tea which was a complete let down. The sandwiches were not fresh, were served in hard ciabatta bread. The prawn sandwiches were dry, hard and tasteless. The egg sandwiches only had a smidgeon of egg and the beef sandwiches were exactly that, a piece of beef between to hard bits of ciabatta bread. We had scones which were not fresh and served with what seemed like cheap jelly jam. The tea was awful and i would say the tea bags used must have been waterproof as no matter how long you stirred the tea in the pot it stayed the same looking like hot milk. The cakes, oh my goodness what can I say here!! Absolutely disgusting and goodness knows what ingredients were in these???Please do not be fooled by the lovely picture used to advertise on Wowcher or any other advert as it comes out looking the complete opposite. No care or attention to detail and we felt awful for hours after.I would never recommend having this cheap experience to anyone.

I took my son here as a "treat".It was as part of the "Eat out"deal. We ordered haggis fritters ( very little haggis) and Southern fried chicken strips. They were cooked in old oil and were extremely greasy. My son had also ordered a Southern fried chicken burger as his main.He cancelled that and ordered a steak instead. This change of order to nearly 45 minutes to appear.£3 for a small jug of unpleasant peppercorn sauce and £2.50 for "seasoned" fries that were not seasoned, pale and floppy.I ordered the sweet potato curry with a £4 charge for chicken. 10 tiny pieces..... ExtortionThe person in charge told me, with pride, that it was the 1st complaint since they'd reopened. The bill came to £34.It was an awful meal and I'd have been even more upset had it cost me £54 ( without the discount)I emailed the head office and so far have not had the courtesy of a reply.

We arrived at 7pm, although evidently we have been there for 6:30pm. I blame Her Indoors. We had a very pleasant welcome. The tables were very well spaced out. The service was first rate and very friendly. Our food was absolutely delicious. The best onion rings I have ever eaten were in Droitwich. You don't forget an experience like that. Our side order of onion rings tonight were their equal. A lovely meal. We will definitely be going again before the end of August.

We visited this restaurant on a Friday night and expected it to be busy, but it was a nice calm, friendly atmosphere where unusually you could actually hold a decent conversation. The menu was a little limited for my own personal taste but all four of us had a great meal and were impressed by the quality. The service was prompt and attentive and the staff friendly and efficient, and overall we had a very enjoyable evening. We would definitely go back again!

We've eaten here many times and although the food is very nice there are areas that really need addressing with the menu. It would be lovely if the burgers came with a salad on the side like most places, a tiny bit of lettuce and tomato on the burger isn't really enough. The desserts are my real bug bear with this place. If you are advertising a snickers and m&m brownie then at least use those in the brownie! I've had this loads and never once has there been any sign of these chocolates anywhere in the brownie.Likewise the rocky road cheesecake needs work, rocky road should contain biscuit pieces and marshmallows, good luck if you find any of these within the cheesecake. The last thing that needs addressing is the state of the tables, I understand food can get between the gaps in the table but honestly the amount of bits of food and crumbs between them is disgusting. You may wonder why I keep returning with these issues but overall the food is really good, it could just be even better if a bit more care and attention were taken over the menu and cleanliness of the place.

This was the second and last time. We came first time just before Xmas and they got the order massively wrong so that me and my partner ended up eating separately. But they apologised, knocked some money off and a couple of vouchers for our next visit. So we went again tonight. Got my drink order wrong first time, second round they bought my partner the wrong drink. Little things but they add up. Then the meal came. I had the sea bass, which to be fair was very tasty and I would have it again. My partner ordered steak with a side of onion rings. She asked for the steak med-well and it was massively over cooked, and the onion rings were undercooked (we cut into one and there was still big clumps of raw flour in it). And this time there was no sorry we’ll try harder next time, or here’s some off your bill (the waitress said she’d knock the price of the onion rings off but never did), so that’ll be the last time at the last inn.

I was the only one that had the set Christmas menu and the only one who's meal wasn't edible, I had the game stew. It was presented lovely but it was so salty. I tried to eat it but I had to leave it in the end. One of our party had to wait for her meal as they prepared the wrong one for her. So everyone else had nearly finished by the time she got hers. Deserts were coming out and they were good size portions, if you were having brownie or sticky toffee pudding. I had opted for the roulade, well everyone was laughing it was the smallest slither you have ever seen. I don't think a slice could have been cut smaller if they tried.

I visited the Last Inn on a Monday night, having not been for a long time since it was the Aston. The interior is now better in my opinion, nice and bright with tasteful decor. It was very busy, probably because they offer 50% off all mains on a Monday. The service was good, although the waitress wasn't sure whether the 50% discount applied to all dishes or not, which I'd have thought was an important thing to be aware of. The menu has a good selection. I opted for the stir fry vegetable noodles, while my friends had steak and the mushroom and spinach pie. All arrived promptly and were very nice. The steaks were a bargain with the discount, although I wouldn't pay full price because chips and sauce are not included and the total if you want them comes to nearly £30 for fillet. Paying the bill was a bit of an ordeal because the food wasn't itemised (apparently to action the 50% off they have to just input the total amount), which can cause problems for groups like us who want to pay for their meal only and not split evenly. They did offer to go and work it out, but we told them not to bother at that point. They also charged £19 for one glass of wine. Aside from this, we had a lovely evening and I was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the other reviews.

We went for a birthday meal , there was 10 of us ranging from 15 years old to 80 years old . The restaurant was bright and inviting . It was a Wednesday night and it was very busy , as well as our table there was a party of 18 , plus couples etc . Because of this it was extremely slow service . We waiting a while to be served and the main course seemed to take forever . Although we were advised when we got there about the wait it might have been nice to have been advised on booking . However the food was excellent , everyone had something different and they all enjoyed it . Would recommend the haggis fritters and cheese soufflé to start , and the fish and chips , mixed grill and steaks . Nice chunky chips but be careful as the hot chips are very hot , full of chillies. Would definitely recommend and we have already said we would return .

So glad we did! It restored our faith in eating out. My seafood risotto was excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband had the rump of lamb (daily special) and he (who doesn't give praise easily) said it was the best meal he had had out in a long time. The generous portion of lamb was perfectly cooked and beautifully seasoned it melted in the mouth. And as always we had a lovely friendly welcome from Mara. Why go anywhere else?

The food came out after a very reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. I had the blue cheese soufflé which was absolutely perfect. Not something you see so much of any more but a classic and very tasty. For main I had the seafood risotto which was cooked to perfection and well seasoned, honestly couldn't fault it.(quite fussy as was a chef for 16years) Definitely a firm favourite for next time. For pudding I had the Eton mess which again a classic but it was a perfect way to finish 3 courses. Highly recommended for a refreshing end to a good night. Had a long wait for a bad meal. Well done steak still pink. Another steak said to be medium when brought to table was ordered as rare so sent back only for same steak to come back - with no visible blood. Menu does not mention anything about seasoning ie pepper on steaks. Chips extra and definitely not worth it. Only ordered steak as most of the rest of the menu was unavailable. With so many much better pubs locally we will not be going back.

On arriving early on a Sunday evening we were told most of the menu was unavailable: roasts were off as no carrots or parsnip, no brioche buns but could have burgers with ordinary white buns, no moroccan salad, only one risotto. As only one of the group eats fish we were left with a choice of steak. At this point we should have walked out. Out of 4 steaks, not one was correctly cooked: the well done was still pink, the rare had no blood. When they were brought to the table 3 were said to be medium so one sent back as ordered rare only for the same steak to be sent back out. Also all 4 steaks were peppered when there was no mention of this on the menu. Steaks do not come with any potato side - despite being £14 for a rump - supposedly so there is no upgrade cost for sweet potato fries etc. Hand cooked chips ordered as extra were inedible, completely overcooked and the chef admitted he would not have eaten them.

The staff were all polite and welcoming but clearly run off their feet. It was easy to catch their attention, but they were constantly (nearly) running to and fro, working really hard to satisfy the requirements of the many diners. We asked for extra drinks and our server was struggling to help us as well as the big party behind us. we counted 3 staff who managed the bar and kept 50+ patrons happy. The reason i gave a score of 4 is because the staff need more help, another pair of hands would make this much better.

Bread was the same and the chicken even harder than granite. Lesson learned eventually.... Had a refund and will never eat there again. Dreadful to say the least

Food and service were good, I just wanted to bring to your attention that your chicken tikka masala on your main menu and your daily promotion leaflet show different spice ratings the main menu said it had 1 spice level but the promo leaflet labelled it a 2 spice level, I found this to be very misleading and put me off ordering it as i couldnt make an accurate call on the spice level of the dish, it showed the same calories so I assume it's the same dish. Thank you
