Great place for a quick beer, lovely hospital staff, and great environment to eat and drink from the space. Also lovely beer garden too.

Everything and everyone was brilliant! Special mention for Eva, such a helpful hostess! Would definitely recommend

Waited over 1.5 hours for my food to come. When it did eventually come it was stone cold. Sent it back and they just poured boiling hot gravy over it. Drown my food. Most of our table had cold food. Telling the waitress, she called over her boss, to his reply “what do you want me to do about it?”. Terrible service and even worse quality of food.

Had a sharer roast and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would 100% recommend a visit for a pint or a full roast or both.Great atmosphere with super friendly staff.

I had the most incredible dining experience at this lovely restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Even though bangers and mash wasn't on the menu, Chef Adam kindly prepared it for me, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the dish was hearty and comforting, exactly what I was craving. The attention to detail and care put into every element was evident. Our waiter, Anthony, was equally fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. From Chef Adam to Anthony and the rest of the team, everyone was passionate about providing top-notch service. I can't recommend this place enough. It's a hidden gem with exceptional food and an amazing team. I'll definitely be coming back!

I ordered a cheeseburger, the burger smelled of fish and the fries were overly salty. And also the amount charged to my card does not match the amount written on the receipt, they have overcharged me by £5, I will complain

We were there for Sunday lunch on 19.1.25 in a group of 3 adults and 4 kids (ages 4-10). The food was lovely and the service was great too. The inside style of Arnos Arms is very inviting, with booths and twinkly soft lighting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Arnos Arms for a great place to eat and drink with family and friends.

Attended the pub New Year’s Eve. Very very over priced for drinks how can they even justice them prices is beyond me. The food was average & the waitress was rude. Said she was tired 🤦‍♀️🙄 won’t go back in a hurry.

Honestly gone so downhill recently delivered half our food and after 15 minutes we said where’s the rest they apologised and said they would give us some drinks for free. The food was very disappointing and the manager was no where to be found throughout it all.

I visited this lovely pub for the first time a few weeks ago whilst visiting family in the area. What a great British pub with exceptional staff who were friendly, informative and very welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Great local pub with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff, great choice of drinks and food tastes lovely. They have a lot of outdoor space up front and rear garden is well.One is a unique thing which this pub have it's a dashboard about a bar which shows live piccadilly line departures from Arnos Grove Station.

Three choices of Bitter on tap plus a raft of all the other usuals. Pleasant staff, atmosphere, sports TV, but also quiet corners. Highly recommend for a quiet pint or to pass a spare hour with the telly.

Compelled to increase my previous rating from 4 to 5 star, following a superb family outing for Saturday lunch. Great food and service, and fair prices for such good quality.

Maybe it was peak hour but it took some time until they took our order, only to find out the main dishes were already out (Sunday roast). We ended choosing some alternatives and it was great, but not the best experience

This is such a great pub! Always have fun going here, it’s got such a good atmosphere and I’ve had some special memories here. I love the pub quiz nights that I have attended and the staff are so fun and welcoming. I especially enjoy getting to see Jade who always makes my evening and it’s never a dull night with her around. She really does make the place feel so welcoming and for that reason I would definitely come back more often and bring friends and family along too!! All the team at this pub are so lovely and I can’t wait for my next visit!!

I don’t go to pubs often, but I recently visited Arnos arms and was served by a lovely girl called jade. She had amazing customer service and felt very personable. After I had sat down for my food she later asked how everything was which left me with such a good feeling. She is a great asset to the team. The other staff were also good too

Awesome pub in Arnos Grove. Great food, helpful staff, and a really pleasant atmosphere. Recently changed back to Mitchell's & Butler, but still service as usual. Staff are helpful, especially Anthony. He's knowledgeable and mixes some good cocktails. It's definitely worth a visit.

Massive pub and massive beer garden

I’ve been to the Arnos Arms many times, food and staff were lovely. But since the change of new management, the changes have been even better than before.. Atmosphere, Food quality/menu is fantastic, and the staff are always very nice and friendly. Especially one of their staff called Anthony, who is always smiling, and can’t do more for me and my family. Well done to you all!!!

Love this pub. Food is excellent. The chefs know what they're doing and do their best to accommodate requests and preferences. Staff are lovely. Atmosphere is great, particularly during their pub quiz. I only wish they'd add a couple more vegan dishes or even just make a vegan option available for some of the veggie ones. For example, they do lovely pizzas and could easily do a vegan pizza with the vegan cheese they use in their burgers and any veggies. Been coming here a long time and looking forward to returning. Card only now though.

Edited my original review from 7 years ago. Just been back after 7 years. Food was great, staff.. Henry in particular...were very welcoming. Service was fast and efficient. We won't leave it quite so long next time!

The new management was really rude to my whole group. The changeover has ruined the arms. I was a regular attender for years with my family, brought my work colleagues to the venue for work event and was treated awfully. Hostile and rude, was left embarrassed. Will not be seeing me again. Terrible new management.

We hired the upstairs area for a babies birthday and had a buffet. The food was delicious - everyone commented on how amazing it all tasted. The staff were so friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend to anyone looking to book somewhere for an event

This used to be a great local pub but now it feels like every other generic chain, with typical sticky tables and dirty toilets. Really disappointed that the new ownership have taken away this pubs charm and atmosphere.

Visited September 2024: the new management team have really made a difference. Superb fresh and high quality fish & chips. I will be back. It was so busy but the food still arrived to our table within 20 mins! Wonderful atmosphere. The menu is refreshed and this pub is the best local option by miles. Charlotte rushed off her feet , but remained cool calm and professional. She was attentive and kind , what a superstar. Fantastic team, high quality food and great beers on tap. I will be back.

The staff were very nice and friendly. But the actual service was terrible. It took about 30 minutes to get drinks and an hour after we ordered to get our food. I was really embarrassed because I had invited friends who had never been there. The staff apologised for taking so long but it was more they had to because it was so ridiculous that it took that long. I was super disappointed. My food tasted terrible. Please don't have the nachos. Nachos are supposed to be spicy and have a lot of flavour - mine tasted of nothing, it was like a gooey mash of tasteless sour cream and avocado smash. If you had blindfolded me and made me eat it I would not have been able to tell you what I was eating.

I’ve been coming to Arnos Arms for quite some time now, and I must say, since the management change, they’ve really taken things up a notch. The food options are much more varied, and my personal favorite has to be the seafood linguine, which pairs beautifully with a good red wine. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff—especially VALENTINO. He’s always there to welcome you with a genuine smile, and his customer service is second to none. Valentino goes out of his way to ensure that my meal is exactly how I like it, particularly when I ask for my linguine to be spicy. Not only that, but he’s also an expert when it comes to drinks. He always knows the perfect pairing for whatever you’re ordering, and his patience with customers is incredible. If you’re ever unsure about what to order, I highly recommend asking Valentino for a suggestion. He’ll take the time to make sure you have the best experience possible. It’s this kind of personalized service that you expect from your local pub, even if the prices are a bit on the higher side. All in all, Arnos Arms feels like a proper neighborhood gem, and Valentino’s service makes it even better!

I ate in the Arnos Arms on Friday the 9th August. I was visiting London on a solo trip and staying near by. I had just come back from a long day in the city and as the pub is right next to the tube station, it’s very convenient. Also as a female traveler on my own I didn’t want to have to go to far as it was getting late! I hadn’t looked the place up online or anything as I hadn’t been planned on going there but I’m so glad that I did. The staff were immediately welcoming. I was welcomed to my table by Alex who was so friendly and accommodating. I also ordered a drink at the bar and the guy who served me(tall man with long-ish hair I think!) was also v nice. I ordered some olives to start - v tasty! and the fish and chips as a main with a side of home made slaw(highly recommended this w/h the fish&chips!) it was maybe the best fish&chips I’ve ever had!! crispy and fresh fish and amazing home made chunky chips. Plenty of tartare sauce also and yummy mushy peas. The portion was so big, I couldn’t finish it and it’s v rare for me to leave food! 😌 Overall, it was a lovely way to finish off my day of travelling. Well done to Arnos Arms on getting both service and quality to such a high standard. If I’m ever back near that location, I will def visit again.
