I visited this lovely pub for the first time a few weeks ago whilst visiting family in the area. What a great British pub with exceptional staff who were friendly, informative and very welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Great local pub with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff, great choice of drinks and food tastes lovely. They have a lot of outdoor space up front and rear garden is well.One is a unique thing which this pub have it's a dashboard about a bar which shows live piccadilly line departures from Arnos Grove Station.

Three choices of Bitter on tap plus a raft of all the other usuals. Pleasant staff, atmosphere, sports TV, but also quiet corners. Highly recommend for a quiet pint or to pass a spare hour with the telly.

Compelled to increase my previous rating from 4 to 5 star, following a superb family outing for Saturday lunch. Great food and service, and fair prices for such good quality.

Maybe it was peak hour but it took some time until they took our order, only to find out the main dishes were already out (Sunday roast). We ended choosing some alternatives and it was great, but not the best experience

This is such a great pub! Always have fun going here, it’s got such a good atmosphere and I’ve had some special memories here. I love the pub quiz nights that I have attended and the staff are so fun and welcoming. I especially enjoy getting to see Jade who always makes my evening and it’s never a dull night with her around. She really does make the place feel so welcoming and for that reason I would definitely come back more often and bring friends and family along too!! All the team at this pub are so lovely and I can’t wait for my next visit!!

After a long rainy day I came in for a nice warm meal and a cheeky mid week drink. I was welcomed with a very warm greeting from Jade. She helped me choose a drink and followed on with a lovely chat. I don’t go to pubs often, but I recently visited Arnos arms and was served by a lovely girl called jade. She had amazing customer service and felt very personable. After I had sat down for my food she later asked how everything was which left me with such a good feeling. She is a great asset to the team. The other staff were also good too

Had an amazing time at The Arnos Arms! The service from Anthony was exceptional—super friendly and attentive. The pub has a fantastic, chilled atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for socializing. Loved the two spacious beer gardens, and the cosy interior is great for when the weather cools down. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to the Arnos Arms many times, food and staff were lovely. But since the change of new management, the changes have been even better than before.. Atmosphere, Food quality/menu is fantastic, and the staff are always very nice and friendly. Especially one of their staff called Anthony, who is always smiling, and can’t do more for me and my family. Well done to you all!!!

Massive pub and massive beer garden

Awesome pub in Arnos Grove. Great food, helpful staff, and a really pleasant atmosphere. Recently changed back to Mitchell's & Butler, but still service as usual. Staff are helpful, especially Anthony. He's knowledgeable and mixes some good cocktails. It's definitely worth a visit.

Edited my original review from 7 years ago. Just been back after 7 years. Food was great, staff.. Henry in particular...were very welcoming. Service was fast and efficient. We won't leave it quite so long next time!

Love this pub. Food is excellent. The chefs know what they're doing and do their best to accommodate requests and preferences. Staff are lovely. Atmosphere is great, particularly during their pub quiz. I only wish they'd add a couple more vegan dishes or even just make a vegan option available for some of the veggie ones. For example, they do lovely pizzas and could easily do a vegan pizza with the vegan cheese they use in their burgers and any veggies. Been coming here a long time and looking forward to returning. Card only now though.

Visited here a few times now, in small group and big groups. Food always delivers to a high standard with efficience service. A very relaxed atmosphere, will keep going back.

The new management was really rude to my whole group. The changeover has ruined the arms. I was a regular attender for years with my family, brought my work colleagues to the venue for work event and was treated awfully. Hostile and rude, was left embarrassed. Will not be seeing me again. Terrible new management.

This used to be a great local pub but now it feels like every other generic chain, with typical sticky tables and dirty toilets. Really disappointed that the new ownership have taken away this pubs charm and atmosphere.

The staff were very nice and friendly. But the actual service was terrible. It took about 30 minutes to get drinks and an hour after we ordered to get our food. I was really embarrassed because I had invited friends who had never been there. The staff apologised for taking so long but it was more they had to because it was so ridiculous that it took that long. I was super disappointed. My food tasted terrible. Please don't have the nachos. Nachos are supposed to be spicy and have a lot of flavour - mine tasted of nothing, it was like a gooey mash of tasteless sour cream and avocado smash. If you had blindfolded me and made me eat it I would not have been able to tell you what I was eating.

We hired the upstairs area for a babies birthday and had a buffet. The food was delicious - everyone commented on how amazing it all tasted. The staff were so friendly and efficient. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend to anyone looking to book somewhere for an event

Visited September 2024: the new management team have really made a difference. Superb fresh and high quality fish & chips. I will be back. It was so busy but the food still arrived to our table within 20 mins! Wonderful atmosphere. The menu is refreshed and this pub is the best local option by miles. Charlotte rushed off her feet , but remained cool calm and professional. She was attentive and kind , what a superstar. Fantastic team, high quality food and great beers on tap. I will be back.

I’ve been coming to Arnos Arms for quite some time now, and I must say, since the management change, they’ve really taken things up a notch. The food options are much more varied, and my personal favorite has to be the seafood linguine, which pairs beautifully with a good red wine. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff—especially VALENTINO. He’s always there to welcome you with a genuine smile, and his customer service is second to none. Valentino goes out of his way to ensure that my meal is exactly how I like it, particularly when I ask for my linguine to be spicy. Not only that, but he’s also an expert when it comes to drinks. He always knows the perfect pairing for whatever you’re ordering, and his patience with customers is incredible. If you’re ever unsure about what to order, I highly recommend asking Valentino for a suggestion. He’ll take the time to make sure you have the best experience possible. It’s this kind of personalized service that you expect from your local pub, even if the prices are a bit on the higher side. All in all, Arnos Arms feels like a proper neighborhood gem, and Valentino’s service makes it even better!

I ate in the Arnos Arms on Friday the 9th August. I was visiting London on a solo trip and staying near by. I had just come back from a long day in the city and as the pub is right next to the tube station, it’s very convenient. Also as a female traveler on my own I didn’t want to have to go to far as it was getting late! I hadn’t looked the place up online or anything as I hadn’t been planned on going there but I’m so glad that I did. The staff were immediately welcoming. I was welcomed to my table by Alex who was so friendly and accommodating. I also ordered a drink at the bar and the guy who served me(tall man with long-ish hair I think!) was also v nice. I ordered some olives to start - v tasty! and the fish and chips as a main with a side of home made slaw(highly recommended this w/h the fish&chips!) it was maybe the best fish&chips I’ve ever had!! crispy and fresh fish and amazing home made chunky chips. Plenty of tartare sauce also and yummy mushy peas. The portion was so big, I couldn’t finish it and it’s v rare for me to leave food! 😌 Overall, it was a lovely way to finish off my day of travelling. Well done to Arnos Arms on getting both service and quality to such a high standard. If I’m ever back near that location, I will def visit again.

GLUTEN FREE beer on draught!!!!! That’s right on draught!!! The fella is super happy and you have a customer for life if you can (pretty please) keep it in stock and not as a guest beer!

Always enjoy going to Arnos Arms but with the new menu it was amazing. My server Alex was attentive and was honest in recommendations and they were good suggestions.

Went to the Arnos Arms for a pint. Ended up having a delicious meal and a dessert that has ensured my return to the arms soon!!! Our server, Alex, was really friendly which made us feel immediately welcome. She recommended the sticky toffee pudding And we couldn’t be happier she did because it was heavenly. Enjoyed the meal and drinks in the beer garden that would get any other pub in London a serious run for its money. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!!!

Really nice and cozy place with a friendly and professional staff. We went on Friday evening, considering buzz in the pub and us being a group of 5 - food arrived quick, was tasty and really nicely presented. Good choice of drinks as well.

Went for a Sunday lunch with a friend. The staff were friendly and welcoming However, I strongly recommend that you do not have the vegetarian option for a Sunday roast. Taste and texture was not nice. Only a limited amount of gravy given. The carrots were hard. However I will definitely go back for the pizza, atmosphere and easy access for parking

Went to the arnos arms for my sisters 30th and loved it. the space they gave was great, the atmosphere was great too, and the staff especially anna who helped me order a load of drinks all at once and really kept a great smile on her face was really great. highly recommend :)

Amazing pub staff super friendly and a really nice garden!

We live nearby but hadn’t been for a while as the quality of the food had dropped right off. However, it recently changed hands (writing end July 2024) and we were delighted with our dinner last night. The elder children (9 and 7) commented - unprompted - on their burger and fish, and the seafood linguini and my big burger were great.

Very disappointed with the pub this evening!! Food not that great!! No water on the bar as before! No game machines!! Had to send our food back due to it being cold!!

I have recommended this local to many. I apologise, as I went this week and was shocked by the food. I ordered a avocado and mango salad. It had a piece of mango the size of a bean on top of lettuce. The mango looked like it had been fished out of a tin of fruit. I can only guess the avocado was unfrozen from a pack and hidden under the lettuce. I returned it and they agreed it was substandard. I was insulted by the meal but the guy who served us was very kind. Unfortunately none of us will go back. To think they would offer this and expect us to pay £££ for this. No thanks!! We will spend our hard earned money where we are valued as customers.

This is one of my favorite places to grab a pint and watch the game with friends. There are vegetarian options as well as rotating microbrew selections that are special because of the batch sizes. The outdoor beer garden is beautiful on a sunny day. Cheers to the staff at Arnos Arms for making me feel welcome.
