Came here for some food tonight with the family. Basic, average pub food. Typical pub atmosphere with its locals. Not a bad place to go once in a blue moon, but not something I'd do regularly.

Met up with friends there, Ordered Scampi, chips and peas - all ok Went to order a coffee after my meal - waitress pointed out all drinks came from a machine - thats fine, I asked if I could add the milk and was told No -t was added by the machine, Done that way often produces milky coffee, which I don't like. Weatherspoons use a machine for hot drinks, but also produce a flask of milk, so customers can add accordingly, why can't Apple Tree do it too to keep customers happy? I suppose you have to want to keep your customers happy. An easy remedy!

2 hour wait for food but quite nice food and nice staff. However children have to leave by 8 pm if they are under 10 which is an inconvenience for families.

A brilliant kids Xmas party santa reindeer and a disco. Great food a big well done to rianne jess and great team. Giving a lovely experience to a great British pub.

I was in your pub last night there was a few of us we had booked for the Xmas meal as last year it was lovely .I come to you twice a week but was really disappointed with the main course on the Xmas meal and I think it will be a long time before I come back and we will not be coming for Xmas

The next stop on our “Eat Out to Help Out” Tour, we chose The Apple TreeWith this being our local we couldn’t miss this out on our Teesside food tour. We booked our table last week for 4pm today and luckily we did, as we seen on their Facebook page that they were fully booked for tonight. We all ordered different dishes from Smothered Chicken, Surf & Turf, Mince and Dumplings and the compulsory Chicken Parmo! As always great service and amazing food, we’re already booked in again for Monday as we just love it here!

Went during this eat out o help out. I mean why wouldn't you I got 3 main meals 3 sides 2 alcoholic drinks 2 coffees and a soft drink and the bill came to £23.40.i mean it was ridiculously cheap & the food was fantastic. staff were amazing understanding that we had an autistic child with us therefor giving us a very quiet seat in a separate room.And parking was free you just need to give the bar staff your reg number. There are signs about this all over the car park as well as when you enter it so this is easy to follow.Will i go back again. i dont know? Guess it depends on whether there are availability as i can imagine it will sell out fast for spaces.Top draw

Good social distancing practices in place, temperature taken before being allowed in sanitiser available as you come in and one way system in place. Full at seat service customers only being allowed to get up to use toilet facilities so everyone well separated at all times once tables were vacated the staff fully cleaned the tables. We ordered 2 pork Parmesans, 1 chicken and a child’s meal of chicken nuggets. The pork were fine but the chicken wasn’t great so most was left. The little one enjoyed the nuggets and the chips were lovely as was the side salad and coleslaw I can see from other reviews that people like the chicken Parmos so it may just have been a one off but I won’t be ordering that item from here again personally but will be back to sample other items on the menu. We had sweets the child’s ice cream came in a character cup which was cute the adults had ice cream sundaes, fudge cake and cheesecake the cheesecake was delicious it was the white chocolate and ginger highly recommended and the fudge cake was nice but they were disappointed it was served cold. Servers were friendly and efficient.

First time to the pub since lock down, I was appenhensive but hygiene measures are in place and limits amount of people walking about.Can't fault the meal, good quality as always, decent amount. The chips are delicious. Ran out of the fish but the parmo made up for it.

Been twice in the last month, ordered Chicken Parmesan on both visits. We split the Parmesan between 2 of us, great value for £8.50, half parmesan each with chips and salad - still a decent sized portion for one. Home made chips are the best I have had in the area, worth a visit for these alone!!First visit the parmesan was probably the best I have had, piping hot & fresh not too much sauce and cheese like you get in some places. We had ordered an extra portion of chips thinking we would not get enough having ordered the parmesan to be split between the 2 of us, we were wrong, still a decent amount of chips - still ate the second lot as they were too good to leave!! We ordered Onion rings, which were also homemade, felt the batter was too thick on these would not order again. Based on this visit alone my review would have been 5 stars my main meal was that good. Deserts were good too, we ordered Crumble and a Cheesecake. Second visit the parmesan was not so good, if this was my first visit I would not have returned a second time. Chicken seemed over cooked, possibly warmed up. As we were the only people in waiting for food at the time I am sure the parmesans were sat on the side in the kitchen for at least 15 minutes prior to the sauce being added. Parmesans looked either over cooked or the fat in the fryer was very dirty, too much sauce and too much cheese - possibly a different chef in the kitchen to the previous visit (or it was a warm up as it was the Radio 1 Big Weekend that day and they hadn't sold as many as expected). Chips were still great!! Kids menu is good value - £3.95 for meal and a drink, good selection of kids meals to choose from.Not sure why people complain about the parking, there are enough signs around the pub as well as the entrance to the car park detailing what to do to avoid charges...would have to be blind not to see at least one of the signs!!All in all a good value family meal - with good choice of meals, drinks & desserts. Staff were friendly and service was quick

Went here for lunch we both had parmos , they both came with nice chips salad and a garlic dip , both parmos were large and had plenty of cheese topping , we both enjoyed them my son could not finish his it was to big ( lol) , no room for pudding. Bar man was friendly ,we did not wait long for the food even though they seemed quite busy . Would go again worth a try

Opted for the parmo, which was lovely! As were the chips.Sadly the salad let the meal down, accompied with a huge dollop of coleslaw, I would have opted against the coleslaw if I’d have known it was includedReasonable pricesDecor could do with some modernising.Careful of the car park charges! Unsure why they even do this! Surely can’t be a big demand to park there.

1st time coming here and totally enjoyable, staff amazing, food delicious and very reasonable pricing, we had late meal but still able to get dessert even though kitchen had closed, chef came and delivered dessert himself. Will definitely be back and will be bringing family.

As per a previous customer I visited the pub on the evening of 8th December to meet with friends for a Christmas party. Today I have received an £85 parking charge through the post. I saw no signs that said I couldn’t park here - the carpark is quite poorly lit which I think must be a factor and nobody said anything about this when I went to the bar. As per your offer to the previous customer will this be able to be rescinded?

I brought my friend from Harrogate to Boro to try a chicken parmo food good 9days later parking fine for £85 nither of us seen any signs in carpark or in pub so not happy I thought maybe the staff would have said something with us being strange to the area really spoilt the day and made it expensive £50 for paying it immediately

Had quite a few meals in this pub and such good generous portions. Parmo so good although my hot shot parmo was just a little too hot for me on my last visit, each to ones own taste of course. I will defo stick to the original parmesan and the chips are lovely home made. Good value home made cooking, friends totally happy with their dishes to. Be back again soon, thanks

Turned up today at 12 oclock a table for 2 we ordered 2 beef sunday dinners which arrived at the table 5 minutes later cold we spoke to the waitress who took our food away came back a couple of minutes later having microwaved them to warm them up resulting in soggy yorkshire puddings dried up gravy and luke warm food. Very poor service. We left with our money back. No stars

Four of us visited for tea and each meal was awful, pasta in creamy sauce was dried to the point there was no sauce, mince and dumplings like bullets, over cooked mixed grill, very dry and the steak pie had no gravy in it. The gravy offered in the gravy boat was extremely thin to the point of being hot water with no taste. Every meal over cooked and the service very very slow. It took almost to the end of the meal to get the gravy changed and when it came back it was little better. On the positive side the chips were nice. Very unusual for this normally nice pub restaurant although I did wonder if the owners were on holiday. Im not sure we will hurry back.

This pub is reasonably priced, a lot of the food is home cooked, chips are delicious and the parmos are excellent value and definatly worth having.

Good value menu sunday lunch is very good , we had parmo which was nice and a good price ,staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome . Give it a go you should not be disappointed

The Apple Tree has a bar, lounge & outdoor seating area. They serve great food with large portions. There are two screens showing sport in the bar and a pool table and dart board. The staff are polite and friendly.

My husband and Were having lunch with my father and his wife for a little get together. The guy owner was talking to much to his locals never mind we were waiting to be served . The eating area was dead , meals were poor and the service was terribly laid back . I had to go back to work. Very dull staff and very dull food . Hopefully it was a one off as I have. Erm coming for years and I can honestly say it's starting to look and smell like death row in the club .

Had mince and dumplings, the dumplings were to die for and the mince was Delicious. Very friendly staff and lovely comfortable surroundings

This was one of the best Christmas lunches I've enjoyed with this circle of friends. The food was freshly cooked - perfectly cooked vegetables (sprouts, carrots and wonderful roasted parsnips), light Yorkshire puddings and plenty of meat for the meat eaters. I very much enjoyed my vegetarian option of cheese and asparagus tartlet. The service was prompt, friendly and attentive. We appreciated the little gifts too. We will definitely be back!

Llamamos aquí un viernes por la noche y 2, 1 pollo y Parmos 1 cerdo que eran 8. 95 cada uno, nos quedamos agradablemente sorprendidos cuando llegamos, muy sabroso y con un montón de ensaladas bonito con patatas fritas caseras. Yo sólo nunca clasificado a 5, ya que no parecen olvidarse de nuestra orden, pero tan pronto como lo mencioné también el chef estaba con nosotros en unos minutos. Volveré y lo recomiendo

This pub was a regularly place for me and having visited it has significantly reduced in standard and this shows in how many people actually go to the pub!

Went today with my family for my dads birthday and was really pleased with the service, atmosphere and food. The Sunday lunch was lovely and excellent value. The staff were all friendly and overall just a very good family pub. Would definitely go again.

Worst sunday lunch ever. Despite price. Tasteless, unattractive food, served wrong meals, server could not identify different dishes. Never again.

Visited with family on Boxing Day afternoon and told on entry by the landlord that he'd hoped we'd booked. Booked for what as all we wanted was a drink!No sign of a welcome/happy Christmas and felt almost like they wanted us out.Big changes are required by the Apple Tree to the way they treat customers especially being on an estate that is full of families.

Poor welcome by the landlord his comments on arrival were ' I hoped you've booked' not the welcome I was expecting on Christmas Eve afternoon with my family who were popping in for a Christmas drink! Service was poor no atmosphere no accommodation children total shame to what was a lovely family pub

Came here last night with my family as we live in Scotland and it was a lovely get together with my family. Food was lovely the Christmas menu was great service was good. Really worth the money.. just don't eat before you go as you gets lots of meat and trimmings!!! Fab night had by all thank you so much

We dined at The Apple Tree today for a family member's birthday. Having never been, I was under the impression that is was a chain restaurant and wasn't expecting much from the food. Starters were great; all home cooked food. Big thumbs up! Had Sunday lunch which was also great.Visited the toilets several times and they were spotless! Even smelt lovely and clean too. Another big thumbs up. Staff were really friendly too.If ever in the area again, I'd definitely return.

Yet again top draw chicken parmo hot-shot's from the Apple Tree. Not many establishments serve up a better Hot-Shot than the AT mind.... Good pint, friendly staff and local's, in comfortable surroundings make it a first choice for me every time!

We have been twice for Sunday lunch & on both occasions it's been decent. Great value for money & its old fashioned grub. Gets busy so I'd advise to go early or book, as when it's busy it becomes very disorganised. But overall good value.

I visit here a few times a month with elderly relatives. It is excellent value for money and more than enough to eat on the special menu for pensioners Available weekdays ,2 meals for £7 must be one of the best deals offered regarding pub food. The mince and dumplings with freshly cooked cabbage and carrot also mash was Delicious. I would also recommend the scrumptious fruit crumbles too . I cannot manage a dinner and pudding but do have one or the other depending how I feel. The staff are busy at times but always obliging and will go out their way to ensure the customer is happy. We do try other places to eat but always seem to return to this welcoming pub . We will be back soon.

This is possibly the worst Sunday lunch I have eaten. The food was not freshly cooked it was reheated to nuclear. There is no possible way it was freshly cooked and served up at that temperature. The food itself wasn't nice, my Sunday lunch had mushy peas! Iv never eastern a Sunday lunch with mushy peas before. Terrible will never go again, only chose it as trip adviser gave it a good rating. Avoid!

Popped in for infamous parmos..pork or chive. Staff u der xmas pressure..should have previously booked. Still...no excuse for poor attitude....it was supposed to be xmas.

I've been here on a few occasions and particularly enjoyed the fish and chips.It's great value for money and offers plenty of places to sit.Good local.

We visit this pub at least one every couple of months. lovely cosy little pub with friendly staff. they have a basic pub food menu and also a specials board .We have never had cause to complain on previous visits and our latest was true to form. two of the party chose hot shot chicken parmesans , another had pork parmesan , all served with their lovely chips salad and coleslaw . the final dish for our party was mince and dumplings served with mash peas carrots and a jug of proper gravy. All the food was served together and was piping hot and delicious. we also had desserts of treacle sponge and custard(massive portion!!!) rhubarb crumble and custard and chocolate fudge cake and ice cream all of which were thoroughly enjoyed.. . we love this place and hope it long continues!

After looking on here for a pub for sunday lunch whilst visiting our daughter at university in Middlesbrough we were not disappointed when we contacted the Apple Tree to book a table. Annmarie contacted us straight back via e mail saying there was no need to book and if we turned up we could have a table... we booked anyway and we were made very welcome and shown straight to the table. After getting drinks from the bar Annmarie came out and asked my husband if we found the place okay (which we did).We ordered 2 x Beef dinners and 2 x turkey dinners, which were at our table within 5 minutes of ordering. There was a tons of meat on all the plates along with a generous serving of mash, cabbage, carrots and homemade mushy peas which reminded me of my dads. The food was all fresh and the yorkshires were to die for, we were stuffed when we finished but had to have a dessert as it was sunday! My husband and daug hter had chocolate fudge cake with squirty cream and I asked for my fudge cake with custard and was told I can have it anyway I liked! It was all delicious. Thank you for your hospitality and great food.... We will be back! Love the Ridley's x

We were looking for somewhere to go for a meal for my partners 65th birthday we had been looking through restraunts when we came across this we hadn't even heard of it and I can tell you the atmosphere was good there was a big party there for a ladies birthday must of been about 12 of them and I noticed all their food came out together which is a great achievement in itself (being a waitress I know what it's like getting a lot of meals out together ) we didn't wait till long for ours there was plenty on menu I had a chicken parmo had proper chips as well my partner had chicken tikka there was plenty on our plates I even left some chips (I'm on a diet ) the pub was quite busy the bar staff were really nice I will definetly go again and would highly recommend it well done apple tree and compliments to the chef only think I could add would be it would be nice to have a bit of back ground music

I have been to this pub a couple of times with friends and as a family and really can't fault it. Staff are always lovely and only to happy to help. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is so nice your always made to feel very welcome.I went with work colleagues recently for Christmas lunch and it was gorgeous not to mention really reasonably priced will definitely be returning and would absolutely recommend! Lovely little pub :-)

The food from this place is top notch! The parmos are medium size and very filling! The Sunday dinners are also unbelievable and the desserts yes may just be simple desserts but are spot on as well! The staff are friendly and have a good sense of humour. Give this place a try!

This is my absolute local and we go here as a couple for lunch and a drink about once every 1 - 2 months or so. Typical local pub food - the chips are made from proper spuds!Staff always very friendly and the pub is always very busy at mealtimes, but pretty dead at other times. It can become a bit rowdy with kids running around sometimes, but most people are fine with that.

Decided to give Apple Tree pub ago following positive review on parmohunters.. Pub nicely located, pleasent friendly barman. Menu and special board fantastic everything under £10 from what I could see.. :-) Parmo excellent, fresh salad/chips, excellent quality cheese and fresh thick cut chicken.. (Hotshot could do with a couple extra jalepeno and would be perfect!!) Will visit pub again Bargain!!!

My visit this evening was a pleasant one. i had a mixed grill which was a good size, well presented and piping hot. the steak was tender and very tasty. the onion rings in batter were great. at just under £13 it was excellent value.a friendly local well frequented by local people ample parking and off the main roads its worth seeking out.my wife had a hot chicken parmo very spicy chilli in abundance - too hot for me but it was a good value specialchildren welcome but need to be seated and behave themselves - more suited to quiet families with teens who can behave like adults. there were couples too and a few groups of friends. tv not too intrusive but unnecessary distraction.Could do with a good clean as tables were sticky and radiators were dirty underneath and inside. cutlery steak knife was clean and sharp, obviously been through the dishwasher many times. easy things to get right - just needs to be part of the routine. small selection of wines and beers but a variety

Excellent food the staff are so friendly and the prices are reasonable all round an excellent meal maybe the pub is a little tired but the food makes up for it. Wine is reasonably priced as well which is a bonus

Visited here with my husband for a Sunday roast - the roast was fine, no problems aside from the meat being a little well done but I appreciate this is down to taste. Had far better roasts around the area but for the price it's not bad value.

Went for Sunday lunch, there's nothing much to say really; just a bog standard Sunday lunch...that wasn't very nice. Desert menu was tempting but when they arrived we were not impressed. We won't be returning

Me & my boyfriend had been to the Apple Tree about 18 months ago and weren't too fussed so didn't go back. However after the Parmo Hunters rating their Parmos 5 star my boyfriend insisted we go back.The menu has tripled since we last came, a lot more options which is brilliant. Everything is reasonably priced & you definitely get what you pay for. My boyfriend said the Parmo was fab but the bechamel sauce could have been a little tastier. I opted for mince and dumplings which were really lovely and received plenty of beautiful and large homemade chips. Service was a little lacking but we didn't expect it to be amazing for a local pub. Music was a bit dated too & tables sticky. But couldn't fault food!

Typical pub Fayre, but so much better than the average chain pub. Well kept beer, friendly and helpful staff and the best cooked rump steak I think I've ever enjoyed

Friendly atmosphere, wonderful staff and cheap and decent food and drinks, nothing special but good value and a nice place to be. Great for families and couples or singles and really pleasant. We went to watch the middlesbrough game here against arsenal and although it was a disappointing result we had a good time, great view of the screen, not to many people and good service.

Just visited here again for a Sunday dinner and cannot pick anything wrong the portions are huge and the food is extremely nice! Ate here before and had the parmos these are just as good too!!

Eat in here occasionally and currently turning out some excellent meals. It's a pretty standard pub menu - but nothing wrong with that! Can't beat a good old English meal once in a while. But do also have some varied and different options on the specials board.Always hot and fresh - with gorgeous home cooked chips!Also offer both chicken and pork parmo's and both are extremely good. Nice and big but really good taste (especially the hotshot!).Definitely worth a try if in the area.

Over the years we have become regular visitors to The Apple Tree. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent, with plenty of home cooked, good value meals. We go along to the Tuesday night quiz - well attended and over the years have had numerous Christmas meals, which are excellent value for money, lots of choice and musical entertainment too. What more could you wish for? Our children ask to go here rather than larger restraunt chains in town. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

We visited the Appletree for lunch in December 2015 for lunch. My husband had a pork Parmesan and I had a roast Pork Dinner. The portions are huge but the food is tasteless and the pork Dinner was very dry even though they were happy to supply extra gravy. We both found our meat to be tough! We used the pub frequently at one stage but the most recent visit certainly didn't inspire us to return

In the past 4 years I have had three Christmas Meals at this pub, and until this year they have been excellent. Well cooked, plenty of veg, and choice. However this last week I was a little disappointed in the veg. but of course this is only a personal taste - you see I like my veg cooked - that is not "al dente" and I'm afraid the carrots were well underdone, and one of my sprouts quite hard, but the amount of meat, roast potatoes, and roast parsnips were excellent value for £14.95 - This included a first course ( I had fanned melon and sorbet) and Christmas Pudding in my case; followed by coffee and a mince pie. Packed with people, and disco music after - enjoyable evening with friends.

Found this on trip advisor so decided to go there today. Lovely friendly staff, wonderful ambience. good wholesome meals , with wonderful desserts, would totally reccomend to all

We decided to visit here for a change. We ordered a a plain chicken parmesan and a hot shot chicken parmesan. They were okay but could have been alot hotter. It arrived with home made chips. It was very filling so did not finish the meal. The salad had way too much salad dressing on it. I felt it was over priced for a meal that was just 'okay'.The meal was nothing to write home about so dont think id revisit.

Although the food was ok i found the bar staff habits of eating there dinners with there fingers behind the bar disgusting, they are still serving food and pouring drinks without taking a break from there own finger buffet

We have struggled in the past to find somewhere that does a great pub lunch. Camr to the Apple Tree today and I can't honestly say that you can't fall off. £6.45 for an adult lunch, or £3.50 for a child/OAP. There was a choice of meats and the plates that came were enormous, piled high and full of gravy. All the dinner was lovely (except the mushy peas, I do not understand mushy peas on a roast dinner) and dessert (chocolate fudge cake) was delicious too. My 3yo daughter made light work of her smaller lunch and ice cream.

whilst visiting clients I decided to have a quick bite before making my way to the centre of town. I called in to the Apple tree and was greeted by a smart smiling young man. Who made me feel very welcome with small chit chat.I asked if they were any specials and the young man gave a number of options but I decided to opt for what the local people call a parmo.I Have ate Parmesan before and in comparison thus seemed smaller. However I soon realized it was not small in weight the Parmesan was succulent and the homemade chips and coleslaw were fab, a little too much for me to manage. I would definitely recommend this establishment for it's prompt friendly service and fantastic food and value for money.

Another birthday party last night in this pub with our family & freinds,And yet again great food and friendly staff as always.The chicken & pork parmesans are the best I've tasted from any pub in middlesbrough.Thank you for a great night and l would recommended anybody thinking of trying this pub,You will not be disappointed.

Never been in this pub for years but have tried it several times lately. Been for Sunday lunch which was excellent and then for tea quite a few times and took some friends along. All the meals were superb the parmos where the best my friends and I have tasted and we have tried quite a few. All the food was well presented proper chips nice salad and coleslaw. The beer was good too the atmosphere is also nice and friendly what a change from the stuffy atmosphere of old keep up the good work 10/10 for the owners and the staff

My wife and I called in one Saturday night and were very pleasantly surprised. The pub had a lovely friendly atmosphere. The locals chatted to us even though they had never seen us before. We sat in the newly decorated lounge after our meal - which was fairly decent and had a very enjoyable evening. This is somewhere I can say I will be returning to. One minor comment, they finish serving food far too early (7:45pm)

The Apple Tree have the best Parmos in boro and their food is great value for money and always fresh and filling.

We've used the Apple Tree for decades through a number of owners and varying standards of food. After a long absence we called for lunch recently and found it to be pretty decent. My son had the chicken parmesan, husband mince and dumplings and I had the ham and eggs. Chips were home made as were the onion rings which we enjoyed. The ham with the eggs was pretty standard thin sliced more suitable for sandwiches. Be nice to have a better quality thick cut for a main meal.Price was decent and the pub is comfortable. It's good to find a pub with a proper disabled toilet too for wheelchair users.

Having moved to this area, we decided to try all the local pubs.I can honestly say that this is an absolute gem of a pub for food & drink with a chilled out atmosphere.We have now had several meals here and would highly recommend it.This is now our no1 choice and the family love it.

We have gone here quite a few times now and every time it's nice, all fresh and home cooked and proper mushy peas like your Nana's use to do, I'm very fussy on how I have my chicken and will always help with that, every time we take someone new there always enjoys the Sunday lunches. Next time gonna try the Parmo's been told those are nice too.

The food here is excellent, home cooked and fresh and it really shows, unlike some places that serve pre-packed rubbish.The Parmo's are to die for, best I have ever had, the service was good and the staff friendly and since last time I was in it's been refurbished.

My husband and I visited here for the first time today for an evening meal, we ordered two meals from the specials board - "hot shot parmesans" very tasty with a nice spicy kick just as we wanted - absolutely delicious! Home made chips to die for and fresh salad, good portion sizes too - we also ordered cheesy garlic bread side order but couldn't eat it or finish our meals due to feeling full but tried really hard to as was so nice! Good service, friendly staff, nice decor and nice atmosphere - can't imagine this place receiving any bad reviews - we will certainly be back and likely to become 'regulars' if current standards are maintained. If your thinking of going - do it! You won't be disappointed.

Popped into the pub and saw others eating. The food looked so good we went back the next day and had a full meal. From starter to desert the food was tasty and fresh. Will be a regular there as the staff were really friendly and helpful and it was a nice environment to relax in. Nice place!

I was a bit concerned about taking the family for lunch especially after reading a couple of the recent reviews but thought I would take a chance anyway! In fairness the place was quite quiet and relatively empty which did emphasize that the decor is a little tired. However we were seated and served in less than 15 minutes and the food was pretty good home cooked quality. The beef was succulent and tasty and my son cleared his pork dinner with aplomb which is pretty unusual! If one was to be picky I could have done with a little more gravy (although I didn't ask) and the roasties were of a reasonable quality but were of the frozen variety.Overall it wasn't posh but for the price it represented good value for money and I would go again.

Absolutely disgusting. We waited 1 hour 40 and it was freezing cold on arrival. The meat was very fatty and the rest of the dinner had zero taste. Do not waste your money.

DO NOT VISITwow where do I start. The staff behind the bar are so rude. One young man especially ( no name badge ) food order came out wrong and they were not happy when I told them so. Got my drinks order wrong and over charged me. The place was messy, tables hadnt been cleaned. Staff were stood talking to each other instead of helping customers and there were a group of young males in there who were clearly off their heads on drugs. Nice eh!

Visited the Pub for a spot of lunch! The food was pleasant enough and the staff were friendly, but the whole place looks very run down and a bit scruffy which lets the pub down! The menus were ripped and dirty and the seats we sat on were ripped and covered in filth! A bit of TLC and this could be a nice place to eat! But the appearance at the moment is run down and a little off putting!

We had the hot parmo, side order of chips and veggie lasagne. Both were good sized portions and very tasty.

Husband and I called in for lunch, we both ordered the Parmo - him pork and me chicken.It was a really generous size, lovely chicken breast, good chunky homemade chips, nice quality coleslaw and a decent salad - £6.95.Would definetley go back another time for lunch. The place itself could do with a bit of a tidy up/modernisation, but all in all very good.And the barman was friendly too.
