Very friendly and homely public house

The group I was with was delighted with the Pub. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

The food was lovely, good value and the pub was very clean and well kept. However, the staff were not very warm nor were they attentive. It was not a very welcoming pub in my opinion which is why I have not given it a five.

Absoluty top pub and will definatly be my local I went in there as a stranger new to the area and couldn't have been treated any nicer by owners,staff and all the locals absoluty superb I encourage everyone to visit when in Warwick also Emma does superb honest good food and as a so called too chef myself I recommend this superb pub to everyone keep up the good work your a credit to Warwick

Me and my wife stayed here for 2.nights whilst the summer solstice was on. What a lovely welcoming quiet and peaceful hotel. The host, Natasha was so nice and friendly. Our room was set to the side of the pub, no stairs, which was a bonus for me as I'm recovering from spinal surgery. A huge comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom with a double bathand a very large and easy accessible shower cubicle. We had our evening meal and was surprised by the portions, 2large skewers of lamb cooked to perfection with salad, a flatbread and sauce. I ordered a side of chips as I didn't expect a portion of meat the size it was, honestly if my wife would eat lamb we could quite easily have shared the meal and would have been happy with it. Great selection of draught beers and the real ales, which I don't usually drink was very well kept, think I'm convered. Onto breakfast, a full English was served and it was presented beautifully. No grease swimming around the plate. Also white and brown bread for toast which you help yourself to. There's also cereal and juice. Tea or coffee which is also limitless. I can't thank Natasha enough and without doubt we will be returning. If you like hustle and bustle and rowdy bars then this is not for you but if you want peace it's the ideal stay. Everyone is so friendly in the village and stol to day hello and wish you you well for your day. Once again Natash, thank you and see you next solstice.

We arranged to meet with friends for lunch on our long awaited trip. Having previosly lived in the area we decided to visit the Antelope. Four of us decided on the Chicken pie and chips, we were all very disappointed with the lack of flavor, the sickening very bland cream sauce and the addition of peas & sweetcorn, which was not what you expect to find in a homemade Chicken pie!!!!!. The only eatible aspect on the plate was the chips. Only one of us had an enjoyable meal which was the lamb dinner with greens. Unfotunately we were guests & did not want to complain to the server or return the meal, but if we had been paying all 4 would most certainly have been returned.This was not by any means a cheap or enjoyable lunch. Very disappointed customers.☹☹☹

Had a sandwich here, the pub is very basic but friendly and the service was good. Would recommend if you want a quick and easy lunch.

I was taken ill while passing by, the Landlord could not have been more helpful called an ambulance and offered to look after my car. Fortunately NHS sorted me out. Thanks

Spent NYE at the Antelope; great fun. The owners were so friendly and welcoming of 2 strangers. We arrived at 10pm on new year's eve and were immediately welcomed as part of the gang. The regulars were very friendly too and we had a great time. There was a free buffet and bubbly at midnight. We live about 15 miles away so will be back for lunch soon. Thank you all for a super evening

We came here on the way to a business meeting, popped in for lunch as we were passing through. The village is beautiful and this pub is in a great spot. The staff were friendly and the food was nice. We both had a sausage sandwich which came with onions, Stilton and a side of really nice chips. Lovely place and will definitely come again if I;m ever passing through again.

An old Warwick boozer on the Birmingham/Warwick Road adjacent to an entrance to Warwick Racecourse. It bears the antelope mascot of the old Warwickshire Regiment, which had its barracks a couple of miles up the road at Budbroke. The Antelope was a squaddies' boozer in those joyful days 🍷🍾🍺😁

If I could give 0 stars I would. Me and my boyfriend went to this pub for breakfast and seemed fine but after finishing our meals, our stomachs felt very heavy and even we felt sick. Some of the ingredience were fine and even edible. However all meal in general so oily and greecy. After that, I could not eat for whole day as felt sick. So we careful before order food at this place. Very disappointed.

Fantastic little boozer with great character and wonderful people. It's not the smartest place in town, but we Visit it regularly as we are welcomed and get great beer and superb, inexpensive and tasty food.

Simplemente es un pub de bebedores. dardos. tiene orgullo del lugar y caballos betting juego en la televisión. Llamado por una jarra con amigos por la noche. No es el tipo de pub va a salir por la noche. No hay ambiente. Probablemente no está mal para una competencia de dardos.

After trying two other dineries we eventually found the Antelope. Prices of drink were very reasonable and the food was very good and extremely good value for money. The pub was very busy and we did have to wait a bit but the surroundings were pleasant. Well worth a return visit if I should be in the area again.
