The Angel Hotel in Wychavon

Fantastic service from all staff at The Angel, big thanks to Roz in particular who ensured that everything went smoothly. Pershore is a lovely little market town with great bars and food.

Didn't start off well when we had to get someone inside to open a door further down the building, due to no ramp for pushchair or wheelchair, Decor bit dated, food was ok beef was a bit fatty and chewy , service was ok toilets were clean, I asked the waitress for a toothpick, she looked at me with a strange look and said no we don't have any, maybe they should if meat is on the menu .

Food was very nice . Had to ask 3 times for sauce. Certain staff didn't know whether they were serving Sunday lunch menu.

I had a 1 bedroom the mattress needs changing otherwise room was ok for one night .Had a meal at night that was good but for the price of the room they need to include breakfast in price ...

Good pub,great friendly service and right in the heart of high street

Party of four attended Sunday dinner this afternoon. Service was abhorrent! One hour in and only had a starter! Forgotten kids dinner and we’d almost finished our own by the time it arrived. Incorrect order put through till on one of the lunches. Table full of empty plates and had to ask repeatedly throughout the three courses for them to be cleared. Empty glasses not removed from table. Had to ask for menus, had to ask if we could even order! Very rarely ever complain but today I am absolutely fuming. £130 and not even a thank you from staff as we left. Poor poor poor wouldn’t recommend to anyone after today’s fiasco!

Food is very average, service was non existent.

I really liked the hotel but my room was cold it was cold outside but as we had booked you could have warmed up the room. The staff were great. And the breakfast was fantastic so no complaints with the food it's also in a great location if your visiting the area.the whole experience was positive. Just heat the rooms please but thanks for everything.

Lovely place stayed in the cottage,can I just say how hard all the staff worked over The Christmas period, they never stopped, up and down so friendly and polite ,always smiling well done to them all ,and all the chefs for amazing for Lovely food x

During our annual Welsh Border Morris Dance tour around Worcestershire villages we popped into here for a short break before recommencing our dancing outside.

Great venue for our company Christmas dinner. Looked after us very well with excellent food, that we all enjoyed.

I booked the Gin room to hold a work training course. The room was fab, well decorated, great size with tea and coffee facilities. I will be back to book this for a family meal!

Went to the bonfire night, absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

Review of breakfast only. Ordered avocado on toast but was served guacamole. The was some confusion with the about the difference between an avocado and guacomole made from avo. They did offer me something else so I chose the full breakfast (no eggs). The sausage is good quality but everything else is low quality. For the £12 price tag I've eaten a much better quality breakfasts, but outside of Pershore. There isn't much choice here so the Angel don't have to put in my effort to make it anything special as there is hardly any competition.

Love The Angel - we are regular visitors to eat and drink there. Have not stayed in the hotel, but recommended it to friends who said it was lovely. Staff are very efficient and attentive.

Had the best chips ever! Lovely food, friendly staff and a fabulous old building full of character and charm. Would recommend!

Very accomodating from start to finish, friendly staff and nice surroundings. Little bit pricy for a room only rate.

I often enjoy meeting with friends here, or having work meetings. It's a lovely place and the food is always great too. Friendly staff team, and a pot of tea always comes with a home made shortbread biscuit too.

Book for the Easter Sunday lunch, and despite a couple of items being unavailable, the food was fantastic and the service was really good. They even paid for our wine, because some of the desserts were off, the menu.

What a lovely hotel. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly from the beginning of our stay to the end. The evening meals and breakfast were delicious (vegetarian options available and very good). The hotel is tastefully decorated but still has lots of character. Our room didn't feel like the usual hotel room; it was much better; there was everything we needed, extremely comfortable and the housekeeping staff must be 5 star because it was absalutely, spotlessly clean. We would stay here again.

Stayed on the 3rd march 2024 We was in the junior suite Disappointed no iron. One of the cold taps would not turn on Sunday roast exceptional so was the breakfast

Hotel is in pershore beautiful village, rooms are clean and modern and hotel is quaint and charming. Lovely food but slow service

What a transformation We stayed here on a couple of occasions when they used to sell rooms on Ebay. It's located in a lovely Town in a lovely setting Pershore Abbey has to be visited and while there take a walk round the park. Plenty of parking around the town. On our many visits over the past few years we just love returning to Pershore especially the Abbey as it's one of our favourites.

Lovely comfortable hotel. Plumbing not great, but ok!

The food was lovely but there were 2 families with dogs in the eating area who continued to bark and yap at each other. Conversation was difficult as we could not hear each other. I would not want to eat there again if I noticed dogs in the dining area.

Promising to start ....Went Downhill Went for Sunday Lunch ..today ..I was a carer for two people today and although the set menu was excellent .The service wasnt very good ..The plated roast beef was cold ,i asked for water,none came...!!! It took ages for the beef to arrive back from the microwave ....Wasnt given stuffing balls as quoted ..When i asked for more gravy as i coudnt get out of my seat it was like Oliver Twist asking for more .The look on the waitresses face was a picture to behold.When the staff mentioned if everything was ok .The staff just looked stunned when i said not really.... When i came to pay just left without a tip ....They couldnt find the bill to start with either .......The main course and pudding was excellent and quite good value ..But perhaps as it was near Christmas and busy ..It wasnt quite right today im sorry to say ..David Mole

We have had many lovely meals in The Angel, just the two of us, up to huge family celebration dinners. The standard is always high and the staff very helpful.

The Angel in Pershore is one of our primary go-to places for family celebrations. In fact we have just booked for Christmas Day lunch for 10 of us. I think that says it all.

6 of us called in Sunday am for coffee and breakfasts. Great breakfasts good value and the staff were brilliant. Hospitality as it should be done. Thank you.

Had food and drinks here before attending the fireworks. Lovely old building with loads of charm. Leather sofa next to the fire was a perfect spot to enjoy a drink. Smartly dressed staff were friendly and attentive. The firework display was fantastic. Will be back again soon.

Recently stayed one night B&B. We were allocated the Wick Room - nice first impression, however we found that the bed was dreadful. Springs sticking out and no support at all. Following a very uncomfortable night, we were up early and ready for breakfast.....sadly, that was a great disappointment. I ordered the smashed avocado with poached eggs on ciabatta - the plate was cold, the eggs were luke warm and the smashed avocado was a mushy guacamole not fresh avocado. For a four star hotel, I would expect better and for breakfast, I was expecting a selection of say cereal, granola, fruit to select from whilst awaiting the 'hot' breakfast....but nothing. There was no member of staff present in the restaurant to speak to, so we could not raise any issues.

Lovely stop off for lunch in this historic beautiful building. Sausages and veg from their own farm and vegetables were so fresh . Great decor toilets spotless. So glad we stopped here.
