Meh. We walked past thinking omg music cocktails and a buzzi f atmosphere. Went to get a drink and some of the rudest unprofessional staff I’ve ever encountered. I’m a licensee and if my staff treated guests like this they’d be sacked. Enter at your peril. If you want service with a smile ignore it. If you want a drink and music by all means treat the staff how they treat you. Rude. Obnoxious and have no place in this job. Such a shame really. But the guy serving is lucky he didn’t get dragged over the bar.

We had 8 meal these took an hour for the kids meal to arrive not the best of quality. The adults took another hour and had the question bar staff twice two did and chips arrived looked undercooked but was ok to eat. Then went back to enquire about fish goujons and chicken, these then arrived the chips were very salty could not eat and the sourdough bread roll was very very stale so both meal were were sent back and full refund given. Bar staff really really good I would not recommend eating here

went with some family and friends during the day to watch the football! great food and drinks! and good atmosphere! cocktails we're lush! will definitely be returning!

We dropped in here for lunch on the Wednesday of half term and really enjoyed it. There were eight of us and everyone liked their meals. The kids had a couple of games of pool whilst waiting for the food to come out and we just found the whole experience really relaxing. The staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Most of us took advantage of the burger and a drink deal and we'd highly recommend it if you're after a no-frills, decent quality meal served by friendly staff.

We had high hopes for this pub. They actually had a gluten free menu for my wife. The regular menu sound pretty good. The food was not good. Overcooked chicken and a strange taste in the burgers. Somehow the slow cooked bbq beef on the burrito bowl was dry to the point of being almost crunchy/chewy. Everything had that, preprocessed/preprepared in a unit on an industrial estate the day before, taste look and feel probably finished off in the microwave. The background to this dinner was a crowd of drunk blokes shouting and swearing at each other and/or the football on the TVs and/or the game of pool some of them were attempting and/or anything else that happened to attract their attention. The staff were very good and friendly.

First time eating here. Reasonably priced food for what you get. I had the peri chicken which was nice and my partner had a pizza which he enjoyed. Good value for money on drinks and nice location next to the harbour. Seating inside and outside! Seen some other reviews, regarding the staff, but when we visited staff seemed smiley and friendly!

Food awful 3 out of our four choices unavailable, pizza don't bother 85% tomato puree! Chicken dry, cutlery dirty, staff grumpy and miserable definitely won't bother again!

Poor, took a long time to be served even though there was only 3 people at the bar and 3 members of staff. Once we was served we sat outside near the bridge, that when I realised that the glass was filthy. It’s a shame it’s an ideal location but a lot of work needs doing to the place.

A lovely little pub by the harbour, indoor and outdoor seating and lovely cocktails, the only very minor issue was with the signage for offers, there was a sign for double spirits and mixer for £9.99, but this offer is on Thursdays only and the sign didn't mention any specific days. Would definitely return again

There were several customers queueing for quite a while before the barmaid appeared without an apology. The chap next to me asked for lime, not available. My drinks were fine but no dog bowl available. The couple who joined our table had ordered vodka and bottled orange with ice and were given a small serving of warm orange from a carton and there was no ice! The toilets were grubby with no handwash and the outside table were not cleared. When I went to get a second round, the barmaid was playing on her phone, completely disinterested in her customers. shame as the location is lovely.

Ladies toilets were in a ‘very’ poor state!! 2 leaking over the floor and the 3rd the toilet seat wasn’t attached properly. According to the check chart on the wall they hadn’t been checked for 10hrs - disgusting!! Not acceptable

We had a couple of drinks which were fine. The staff are fairly polite on the most part but are quite removed and don’t really listen, having to ask several times for your order. Even at a very quiet bar they don’t seem to be able to know who’s next because they’re not paying really attention. We ordered a couple of ‘burrito bowls’, one with chicken and one with beef. The beef was really really fatty and the chicken was so over-microwaved and dry that it looked like segments of garlic bread. Really quite revolting. Needless to say, we didn’t finish it. Complaining about it would have been pointless. Ok if you want a quick beer in the sun but I wouldn’t bother with the grub. A shame really as the location is grand!

Our second visit here in 2 months. Very grateful to this place for being very vegan friendly, lots if menu options. But for the second time the food was close to stone cold. Tonight was their vgn mac&cheese, tacos and fries, all cold. I went to the bar which was busy and couldn't get attention, so faced with waiting or just eat the cold food and catch our train did the latter. No one cares, no one checked back at all, you Anchor Mgt are not bothered. Why cant you serve freckin food that's at least vaguely hot??!! Never again Avoid

Stopped in for some lunch on impulse.. what a mistake. Menu looked nice.. but when we ordered they tried charging £10 more. Finally got that sorted.. then the food came out cold and the roll on my sandwich rock solid and stale. My sons fish finger sandwich came out with no bread. An hour later we still have no replacement for either meal despite being told its coming. Absolute joke and awful service. Staff can't even apologise just keep acting as if we have done something wrong. Would eat here again if someone paid me!

Popped in for drinks when wandering around, managed to find table, amongst a very busy outside, next to where bridge lifts. Served quickly by staff, polite and friendly and had what we wanted. Most enjoyable afternoon sat watching world go by, busy but not a problem , more thriving nice to see.
