don't bother with the android app, it doesn't work, after 2 attempts taking 10 mins to complete my order for 6 people it crashed at the payment page, I called them and unbelievable attitude and unhelpful, can you believe you can't order over the phone, anyway, I tried 1 last time via there Web site to be told 5.45pm collect, it was finally ready at 6.30pm, 1.5hrs after ordering, I called again and got the same attitude "do you want your order or not" I was asked 🤷‍♂️ I should have cancelled as finding this dump is as difficult as ordering and then surprise surprise the food was dreadful, never never again, its been the most stressful take away I've ever ordered and possibly the worst.

We were tempted to try this takeaway by the interesting menu and the generous first order option on the app. We were not disappointed. The menu is varied with many options that are not part of the standard Indian takeaway menu. The food itself was delicious - the flavourings are subtle, giving your taste buds the opportunity to appreciate the varied dishes. All the dishes had that authentic sense of home cooked fare. The fact that it is so near to us that we can easily collect (from the Ashford branch) is a bonus. We shall definitely be ordering from them again.

45min late, half the food was cold, the nan bread was still raw and in places the dough was still sticky it was so under cooked. The popodums were burnt and the seasoning of the food wasn’t great. In all an experience I’ll never repeat.

Fabulous indian food that tastes just like it did when we visited indian. Subtle spices and great flavours. What I also liked was the ability to order earlier in the day and state what time I wanted it delivered. The order came at exactly the requested time but a very polite delivery driver. If you haven’t tried them yet, then what are you waiting for - FAB-U-LOUS 👏👏

Great food as always. Ordered in the afternoon so it was ready for the time we wanted to eat. Went to pick it and it was ready and waiting Delicious tiger prawns in kerrla sauce and paneer cheese in tomato and ginger sauce, veg samosas to die for, and some potatoes and garlic to add something to mop the sauces up. If you have never tried here before then I would throughly recommend.

Wonderful Sunday roasts with just the slightest hint of spice, they are consistantly delicious and always a treat. The mid week meals are also lovely and again, always have that resturant level of presentation.

We ordered online, not really knowing what to expect. The menu looked different and very interesting, and is especially good for me as there is a separate vegan section. The food arrived exactly as ordered and exactly on time, with all dishes clearly labelled. My husband had a seafood starter and a fish main, both of which he said were full of flavour and nicely presented. I had the vegan samosas and a selection of other spiced dishes including cauliflower and chickpeas, all of which were delicious. We shared the aloo wellington, and also had papadoms and rice dishes. The meal was a real cut above that which we have had before from restaurants in the Ashford area.

Not one to leave reviews but we were extremely disappointed by the burgers we ordered. We ordered the chicken ,veggie and pulled pork burgers. They arrived stone cold, a vegan burger was sent out instead of a veggie burger, chicken tasted off and they were over all very sloppy. We have had better burgers from the local kebab shop.

We love Ambrette's food and ordered for 7.20 this evening. After a while we got a message to say the order would be delivered at 7.45. As nothing was delivered at 8pm, we called. The cook said he was just finishing cooking our kids menu. At 8.25pm still nothing. I called again and was told that the driver had left and to call back if the order wasn't here within 5min.. as it still didn't turn up, I tried calling again but this time all my phone calls stayed unanswered. Eventually the delivery driver called me to say that she was stranded as her car broke down- this was 8.40pm. She was trying to find a solution to get our food delivered, but seeing how the communication went with the kitchen I had very little hope our food would be delivered anytime soon. We said not to worry and to just issue a refund. We tried calling the kitchen but no answer. We understand problems happen. A car breaking down in no one's fault. It just happens. But being ignored and the lack of communication is just appalling. Don't run offers on if you can't deliver them. This is a takeaway service and I accept a 15min delay, but not over 1h without any communication. A real shame as we loved the food and this is probably the last time we will be ordering. Now I really hope the refund will be issued.

Have only just discovered the existence of the Ambrette in Ashford, which offers food for delivery or collection. We downloaded the app which gives £10 off your first order, and ordered dinner for three on a Friday evening. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and our order was ready promptly. The app was pretty easy to use too. There is lots of tempting food on the menu, including afternoon tea and Sunday dinners, and plenty of vegetarian options, so we’ll definitely be ordering again soon.

Excellent choice of vegetarian friendly takeaway food. Authentic Indian cuisine with some interesting out of the ordinary dishes. Friendly and quick service. An unusual location in an industrial estate but easy to get to and no parking problems. They were waiting for us with our order when we arrived and food was excellent. Very good value and generous portions

Incredible food - tasted freshly prepared with attention to detail. Complementary cumin spiced poppadoms and chutney. Garlic rice and homemade paneer to die for! When collected greeted very warmly and food ready when stated. Very impressed !

Our first experience with Ambrette was when we headed to the Canterbury brunch for a tasting menu a couple years ago. We were so impressed as the food and presentation were lovely. Then a few years later they started the Ashford kitchen and since then we have been getting take away/delivery very often. The food is always nice and the menu is never boring. We have tried lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and we are well impressed. We haven’t tried many other Indian restaurants in Ashford as once you have found the one why bother with the rest?

I’ve had Ambrette takeaway/delivery maybe 7-8 times now and it never fails to amaze me. Delivery is speedy, portions are generous, they provide lots of nice little extras (eg mango lassi, poppadoms, salads etc) and the food is very, very good. The app is great and there are great special offers.

Visited this treasure one Sunday lunchtime. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a comfortable table. We didn’t feel we had the capacity for the delicious-looking roasts, but the choices were varied, ranging between Indian street food, burgers and wraps. We opted for the burgers and wraps and they were absolutely delicious. I had the pulled pork (heavenly), another chose the tandoori chicken fillet burger and one had the chicken wrap. They were all served with scrumptious onion rings, beautifully cooked wedges and yummy coleslaw with a spicy twist. Drinks orders were taken quickly and served promptly. In summary: The space was light and the atmosphere relaxed. The staff were warm, attentive and very helpful. Cost very reasonably and the food superb! We were extremely happy with our visit to The Ambrette Kitchen and will definitely visit again.

I would highly recommend Ambrette Restaurant - food is amazing - very affordable- fast delivery and NHS discount. Huge portion and very Tasty Would order again. Especial mention to Alfie from Ambrette Ashord for being so accommodating and kind to us. Thumbs up Amazing staff...

Ordered a few burgers last weekend for work from here as they were excellent. Did the same again this weekend as I'd boasted about it to family, just as good again! Not only have they nailed the quality, but they're perfectly executing consistency as well....

Best home delivery bar none. I've had a Sunday roast and a meal deal for 2, both were completely delicious.

The food was generous in size and delivered on time but all of it was far too salty. Not enjoyable at all. Rice was nice.
