Great bar offering a wide range of ales, lagers, gins - accept CAMRA cards. Friendly atmosphere, wide ranging clientele, always someone to talk to. Extremely popular with the locals and dog friendly. Great bar staff who are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the range of drinks they sell - nothing is too much trouble and will go out of their way to make sure new customers feel at home. Live music on every Friday, showcasing local talent as well as acts from further afield - always a good evening. They also hold regular Party Evenings, with DJ Ross Moran playing a wide genre of music, which are extremely popular - next one is Halloween Party Fri 1 Nov 24. Seating downstairs and a quieter area upstairs, as well as outside. Have been frequenting this bar for approx. 3 years and can highly recommend.

Final visit and final review because we will not be going in again - the place smells … smells really bad! Not sure if it’s dog(s) or something else but it’s a really unpleasant smelling environment to sit and have drinks with mates. There’s just no pride in this bar from the owners/managers

Oh my goodness this place is neglected, i’m guessing the ale must be good because that’s it USP but, in terms of surroundings, it’s unwelcoming especially the upstairs - a mop & bucket at the bottom of the stairs, really dirty carpet, no heating, used glasses, little decor, empty shelves & christmas decoration debris - in February

Great Bar in the middle of Kenilworth, superb range of ales, lagers and Gins, you can sit at the bar and chat sh@t with whoever is there or keep yourself to yourself. Staff are very friendly and provide a really great service shout out to Andrew, Sam, Sally and Dude cheers guys. Fridays they have some good live music as well and if you want some peace go up stairs to the lounge and chat with your friends

My first impression on walking into the bar was a very strong chemical air freshener smell. It was so strong, it was all I could taste - which is a shame when you go to the effort to put on a carefully curated beer selection. I’d rather have tasted the beer. I also found the venue unwelcoming inasmuch as the bartender/owner spent the majority of our visit on a personal phone call - played out on loudspeaker.

Dropped in on spec to find a bar bang in the middle of town with a great selection of well kept real (and some very local) ales, decent wines and a good selection of gins for my better half. Add some rocking music, lovely staff and friendly locals happy to banter and I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here as we visited Warwick Castle. We parked our car and were greeted with a drug deal happening at the same time. When we found the hotel they thought they had double booked the room but then managed to find our room. The room was small, dirty and we could hear our neighbours. There was black mould in the shower, mattresses were lumpy and we could feel the springs and the carpets were filthy. When we went to breakfast the next morning we were greeted with the grumpiest lady we’ve ever met. Only 1 cup of tea/coffee each and a very small selection of breakfast. We weren’t offered to see a menu but were verbally told what was available even though on the website they advertised a continental breakfast - not the case here. We decided to leave as couldn’t face another night on those beds. We didn’t bother asking for a refund as thought we wouldn’t get anywhere anyways. Avoid at all costs.

Poor quality and value food for the price . Sorry to say this is our local park . Children’s meal £5.50, over priced , two chicken nuggets a few chips and beans. Jacket potato with half a tomato, one slice of cucumber as a salad.

Great pub with a good range of beers. Did not put a rating for food as I did not eat there.

This is not The Gallery any more -- it's The Ale Rooms -- and it serves varied and enjoyable ales, gins and ciders. Recommended!
