My first visit to this pub and what a change from many of Skiptons tourist orintated watering holes a true"local". Excellent choice of cask beers and some quickfire crac with the barman. I'll be in again.

Visited in afternoon. Found it a very cosy and welcoming pub. Informed it was karaoke that evening, so we returned later. Ring side seat for the karaoke. Bar staff and locals extremely friendly and accommodating. Singing was fab. Made special for my partner when Cher (Kate) dedicated a song to him. Fantastic night and a must do again when returning to Skipton. Thanks to all, sending love from Liverpool xxx

Great little pub and super food. Working here for a couple of days, so thought give it a bash. Chose the home made steak pie with chunky chips and peas. Was served piping hot and very tasty. Nice cold lager to wash it down. Good selection of 70-80-90’s music playing in background. Tops visit - will be back 👍😅😎👍

We were looking for a reasonably-priced lunch on an afternoon out in Skipton and attracted in by the variety on the menu and especially the prices. Compared to other places in town, they looked too good to be true. But the value for money was indeed as indicated, with our scampi and chips and sausage and mash - the latter with a choice of four kinds of mash - certainly top quality fare served in generous portions. To add to the memorable experience, the service was friendly and efficient, and we would have no hesitation in recommending The Albion as well as pledging we'll be back ourselves next time we're in town.

We came to Skipton for the day, with family visiting from Essex. We were looking for somewhere to get a drink and a sandwich and luckily came across the Albion. It was very full and we got one of the two remaining tables. It had a great atmosphere and the service and food first class, the portions were huge and great value. The staff were very friendly, all the time and even on leaving they wished us a good day, not a common thing in pubs, so 5 stars just for the staff alone. Unfortunately, we had got home before my mother realised she had lost her gloves, so I phoned the pub on the off chance she had left them there, which she had. The landlady, Sarah, phoned me back and posted the gloves back to us, as we do not have a car to make the journey back. I cannot thank her or praise her enough for her kindness in doing so. We will be back to the Albion, any time that we go to Skipton again and will recommend it to any friends that are going there.

I was in Skipton with my husband for the Christmas market and came across the Albion. We decided to go in for lunch and although it was busy another couple were kind enough to let us share their table. It's a nice cosy pub and there was a real friendly atmosphere. My husband was served our drinks fairly quickly and told by the friendly lady behind the bar that there was a slight wait for the food as it was all cooked fresh to order. I had steak and ale pie with chips and peas and my husband had the scampi. The wait was probably 20 minutes to half an hour but we didn't mind as we were sitting chatting to the other people at the table. When the food did arrive it was well cooked, piping hot and nicely presented. We would certainly return if ever we were in Skipton again.

First impression a clean cosy pub went to the bar to order drinks and food for two people small ham egg and chips and chilli and chips + a slice of bread and butter all together it came to £17 something after a lot of faffing about the young lady taking my order advised me "That'll be £28 " when I pointed out it was not that amount she argued the point that she was right before eventually admitting she had made a mistake. Small wooden shed like seats outside which were like sitting in a sauna but would be good at any other time rather than a heatwave!!
